In February Della Honda replaced the hybrid battery in my 2003 ***. At the time, the service representative gave me a choice of a brand new hybrid battery or a refurbished battery. Based on the prices he quoted over the phone, I opted for the brand new battery. When I came to pick up my car, I was surprised to find that the warranty was only for 3 years or 36,000 miles. I asked why a brand new battery would only be warrantied for 3 years and he gave me some non-sense explanation. I insisted that he write on the receipt that it was a brand new battery and he wrote "new Honda IMA assembly." I was tired and the work was already done and I needed the car so I just took it home. Now 3 1/2 years later, the battery needs to be replaced again. (The mileage since then is only 10,000.) I told the current service representative that I purchased a brand new battery previously and she indicated that it should be covered under an 8 year warranty. However, she subsequently called me back to let me know that the battery installed in 2017 was not new and therefore not covered under the 8 year warranty. I don't doubt that this is correct but feel the franchise should take responsibility for the fraudulent behavior of the previous service representative and cover the full cost of replacing the battery.

Customer Summary 9/16 Pictures would do it justice which I have tons. I brought my vehicle in Friday at 730 AM and didn't get my car back till Saturday at almost 4 PM. They were supposed to do a simple ECM diagnostics and check the fault in my power windows that were stuck down. The bill I received stated that my ecm had 12 codes and a intermittent fault. When asked what the codes were and the computer reading I was simply told the ECM is bad and gave me a 1000 dollar estimate in repair. What's funny is when I returned home my ecm was still coated in dust and wonder where they actually checked. My windows I was told they couldn't give me an estimate on repairs and they didn't even get them up. I as well when I returned home took my door panel off myself and within a half hour found the issue with my door zone module and rolled my windows up til I can find a replacement part. They told me they had a Level 1, 2 and master mechanic look at it and couldn't find the issue. That it was possibly the door wiring harness and quoted me their hourly rate because they would have to trace each individual wire to find the "supposed short". Im not a mechanic and found the issue. I do not believe for a moment they looked at my vehicle in the 2 DAYS THEY HAD IT. Ive emailed and called numerous times to speak to the GM and no one is reaching out to me. When I picked up my car it was left with tape and plastic all over the windows and trash inside. I have tons of pic from the parking lot to support my claims. Resolution Sought A full refund and ecm readout on my vehicle problems. The customer service agent Taylor is unprofessional and rude. I asked to speak to the mechanic directly and was told no. I want the codes my car supposedly has. They are ripping people off. They had my car for 2 days with no outcome. I paid for ubers for 2 days to be given no specific resolution.
