Would never go back here or tell anyone to go here. The guy working with us was actually working 2 customers at the same time. When we finally got to talking about a deal they came back double what we said we wanted payments. Felt a lot of pressure. They flew through paperwork didnt explain anything. Than gave us the car but not our drivers license, I had to go back and get them. Than they didnt have correct paperwork with our mortgage company. Then they said we needed to make a payment with them instead of our financing company. I called my company who said not to pay them. I spoke with *** who said everything was good. Bring in new customers for us and get $100. Two days later a lady called demanding money. By the way they havent paid off our trade in. Its late and being reported . *** first said dont worry we are sending check this week. Now they are saying if we dont make our first payment with them they wont payoff our old car-the one the took possession of on March 25th

In 2016 I came to this World Kia Joliet and purchased a 2015 200 Chrysler. Everything was fine until I needed to operate my heat and then found that there was a bullet lodged in the compartment. Fast forward to 2019 and I brought the Chrysler in due to something else and *** sold me a Kia *** 2020. Now June 2022 my car was totaled due to a car accident so I returned to World Kia Joliet because I thought they were trust worthy and would take care of me. Well, *** an employee who is no longer employed there along with *** did whatever was necessary to get me in a vehicle. Unfortunately, my credit situation changed and I was given the options of two vehicles. The one I wound up getting came with a damaged grill and *** swore that I could return and get it repaired free of charge. But what they neglected to do is provide one document to back up their words. While *** eventually gave the ok, its the fact that I had to haggle and be inconvenienced. My advice to anyone, when doing business here and anywhere, GET WORDS IN WRITING!

I came in on Monday, December 28th to get a vehicle. Was shown a vehicle and told I needed a co-signer which I had. Left a down payment of $1300 but never signed any loan agreements or documents pertaining to the vehicle. The next day thought it out and came to the realization that the car note and length of the contract was too much so canceled the purchase and requested a refund of the down payment. I was told that I would get a refund the next day. The next day came and was told that the down payment was non-refundable even though I never signed an agreement to purchase the vehicle and never had possession of the vehicle. Asked to speak with Finance Manager or Sales manager throughout the day with calls and emails and was never contacted and told various times that the manager was with customers, unavailable or not in the office throughout Wednesday, December 30th. All I want is my down payment back but I keep getting strung along by sales team and receptionists with promises to forward my information to the Managers. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with customer service and their business practices seeing it is I was never made aware of the non-refund of down payment policy even though I never signed any official documents to get financed.

Honestly, this is the most genuine 5 star review I can leave. I have shopped at MANY car dealers before and we all know how it is working with greedy sales professionals. I have to specifically say that *** was the best person I've had the pleasure of dealing with.I think customer feedback is very important so I want to take the time to really give my opinion.After many, many, wasteful days spend in dealerships all over a 100 mile radius, World Kia Joliet was by far the best. I got in and got out. They worked exactly with what I want and what I needed. The cut to the chase, got the real details figured out and sold upon. There was no trickery, there was no *** pinching, there was absolute respect and business matters dealt with. This place was the exact opposite of every negative image a consumer had in their head about a dealer. I truly mean this. There is a difference in making a sale versus really building a relationship off a strong cornerstone foundation. I can confidently say this dealer has my business for life. I've already recommended a personal friend of mine to visit them and he left the same day with a purchase (I don't think *** was working that day sadly ugh!) but my friend was shocked also and appreciated the insight I gave to visit Joliet. Very, very surprised. Actually I'm shocked how great this dealer was. Cut the *** got to the numbers. And we had a deal in about an hour 1/2.Thank you to everyone inside and out who makes the place run. Great dealer that I will recommend for sure to anybody looking to buy. I would give this dealership as a whole 0 stars. My husband and I had what started out as a normal car-buying experience. We quickly learned though, that this dealership and its employees are a complete scam, and not a single person wants to take responsibility for their lies and actions. We were quoted one price for monthly payments and come to find out it was over $100 more once we got to the paperwork and all we got was an "oh, I don't know why the sales person told you that" as the finance manager shoved the papers our way without trying to resolve the discrepancy. The sales person also stated that they were going to replace the cracked windshield at dealer's cost as it was illegal to sell the car in that condition but she conveniently tried to skate by, leaving that off the contract, so we had to bring it up and have it corrected before signing. We overlooked these things initially, though, until things got worse. We were told that the dealership would contact us in a few days to set up the appointment for the replacement windshield but 2 weeks later we had to contact them ourselves after not hearing back to find out that it had not even been ordered yet. Once the windshield DID come in, we had to call back again to find that out, yet again, as they failed to contact us themselves. When we took the car in to get the windshield replaced, a service manager carelessly backed another vehicle into our new vehicle, smashing our car up. They told us that they would replace the bumper at no cost for their employees actions. When we came to pick up the car, we found that they had not actually replaced anything. They tried to cover up the damage by plastering the holes and doing a garbage paint job over it. When we contacted the dealership, the manager we spoke to had a horrible attitude and refused to accept responsibility. I wish I could give 0 stars! They are horrible! They lie to get a sale...PERIOD! I leased from them in 2017. My lease was due to be up in June . In March , yes...in the beginning of Covid 19! Everything was closed down, everyone was afraid to go out. THEY CALLED ME to change my oil. I was due for an oil change and they offered to come pick up my car from my home, change my oil and return my car. I was like, okay, sounds good! While they had my car THEY CALLED ME AGAIN! They stated that they could see that my lease would be up in June and they had some great deals for car sales...they could waive all of my early termination and lease ending fees if I purchased a new vehicle with them. I immediately was like no, no, no...I don't want to go shop for a car and I said no many times. They pushed and pushed and pushed me giving me all these great incentives and deals and repeatedly telling me they would take care of my lease ending fees. So I finally agreed and purchased a Kia from them. Then in June I got a bill for $3,000 for terminating my lease early. I called them and I was told not to worry about it. But then I got another bill, now saying I was late and past due. I called them again and was told not to worry about it. Then in November I was told I was responsible for the bill! I was like, what? I do not have a spare $3,000! I was advised to pay what I could...they will take something rather than nothing. So I paid half, and now a few months later I have a collection agency calling me! I settled the bill so it would not hurt my credit any more than it has, but I am furious and sick to my stomach with the lies and run around they gave me all year! THEY CALLED ME in the thick everything being shut down due to Covid 19 and they lied to me to get a sale! Horrible! My mom purchased from them in 2018 and was fed a few lies to get her to purchase and they didn't follow through on their promises to her either. Hello. My name is [Redacted]. Currently live in [Redacted]. On March 30th, I visited your dealership to purchase a vehicle. Despite being told I was pre-approved, that wasn't the case. What should have been a quick transaction turned into a 12-hour ordeal. [Salesperson] was assisting me. During this time, we were prompted to complete reviews and surveys, rating everything with high marks prematurely. We informed [Salesperson] about our upcoming out-of-state move and were advised to keep it secret. After acquiring the vehicle, which was inadequately cleaned, I received a call in mid-April from [Salesperson] stating a reduction in my loan amount, but no follow-up occurred. On April 30th, when attempting to make a payment through [Finance Company], I discovered no account existed under my name. Contacting [Salesperson] resulted in a promise to resolve the issue, which was unfulfilled. Persistent inquiries eventually led to the dealership agreeing to mail me the necessary paperwork for a new loan. Despite returning the signed documents and having a new payment date set for May 28th, on May 26th, I faced the shock of my vehicle being repossessed. With my wife nearing labor, this was particularly distressing. The dealership's management provided no clarity, only the assurance of a returned deposit. Further communication with the towing company revealed that my belongings had been removed from the vehicle, and I would be charged to retrieve them. The loss of crucial paperwork still hidden in the car adds to my frustration. I am now seeking reimbursement for the registration, my deposit, and the return of my important documents.

My girlfriend read the reviews and she still decided to move on with the process.So she got a call from World Kia Joliet saying she's been approved with "no money down". She had 1,500 in cash to put down just in case. So being from the city we arrived to World Kia Joliet on Thursday April 29th. Our sales person name was *** (he's got *** dreads). Basically regardless of them 'hooking' you in with all these lies about how they don't have to run your credit, went through our employment, credit and etc. They still did. So *** found us a used 2017 ***. But we would have to put 2,000 down. My girlfriend accidently forgot the cash. SMH. I should've knew then that was a sign. So we decided to change our minds and come back another day since we had 30 days to think about. The sales manager (black hair olive skin don't remember his name) was so adamant about us getting this car and said he'll have *** FOLLOW *** ALL THE *** BACK HOME to the city in *** to get the $1,500 in cash. Once again that is when I felt in my bones we should've left. But we went through with it anyways. We signed the contract with the ***. I even put the insurance on the car giving them the *** number and everything. We had everything signed! Dotted our I's crossed our T's. They had *** follow us to the house to collect the cash with no receipt and said we will get a receipt Friday.So they contacted my girlfriend on Saturday May 1st and said the car is ready to be picked up. (The *** had to be sent out because there was something wrong with the breaks). We arrived at World Kia Joliet with our kids excited about the new car and *** gave us our keys. 10 minutes later *** came back and said that something went wrong with our employment saying the Finance company reached out to them stating our "employment history didn't add up" which is inaccurate when my girlfriend & I both worked with our companies over 5+ years! So with that being said, they wouldn't distribute the plates until they heard back from the Finance company. Even though we signed the contract and *** gave us the keys. My girlfriend was ***! *** to Joliet is not a quick drive. Especially after they HOUNDED us for the money and told us the car is ready. But how does our employment not add up when you've already done the sale and verified my employment? We asked them to call the Finance company but they said since it was a Saturday they were closed. We called the cops. The Joliet police said this is NOT THE *** TIME THEY ''VE GOTTEN A *** FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!But we also asked them. We signed the contract Thursday WHY NOT say something to us on FRIDAY a whole business day?!? FISHY! A ***! The police said there really isn't anything they can do due to them being a private company. So we had no choice but to wait until the Finance company was open which was Monday May 3rd Still... no car. We signed the contract April 29th.We arrive back in Joliet on Monday May 3rd. Demanding for our money back at this point because my girlfriend is not satisfied on how all of this played out. So they wouldn't provide us a refund saying they only give out *** not *** even though they were accepting of taking our cash on April 29th. The *** was very rude when HE was the one who signed the contract with us and acted like he didn't know what we were talking about. *** said "only a certain few managers are able to write out a check and that we can have seat and get this miscommunication taken care of." At this point we want our money back and we want this contract void. They couldn't do it so we called the cops AGAIN! Again nothing we can do. We came back Tuesday May 4th! Our check was there at the desk even though I had to wait 20 minutes. But in our file you can see the ***! SMH.So we have our money back with no car. BUT *** which was the finance company *** OUR *** ON THE 2017 ***! So *** did the finance company not approve us? But we're most definitely billed for the car. Doesn't add up. We called the finance company gave them the story from beginning to end, THEY even said "this is news to us. So you guys never got the car?" We told them no they wouldn't provide us our plates or the title. I will be taking this situation further into legal matters.But moral of the story N'T GO HERE! Two *** and discrimination as women. I visited World Kia Joliet in February this year to trade in my 2020 Telluride for a 2021 Sorento. At signing the sales *** promised me free leather interior installation because the car color and interior was not available when I purchased my truck. So since I couldnt get the actually color of the truck nor the interior he throw in that deal for me. *** told me they would contact me when it was time for the installation. They contacted me the first 2 weeks of March to install the leather. They explained that it was take 4-6 weeks to be done. Here we are today 8/6 and my car has not be done. *** keeps telling me that they had to ship my leather to *** has shut down its plant and they have no way of getting my leather back, its nothing they can do. Imagine being a customer paying a monthly *** on a vehicle you cant drive and all anyone can do is say theres nothing they can do about. *** keeps lying to me & giving me the run around. I purchased a brand new 2023 Kia *** on July 5, 2022 by July 8th I was issued with the radio not working and the sensors for the windshield wipers. I made an appt to bring the car in for July 12th due to my work schedule and the days and hours of the business. I reached out to get an update two days ago and it was none to be given. I express how I didnt like the fact I got a new car and its already issues and that I would like to be placed in another car after finding out through my finance company they could accommodate the switch with no changes to my contract. On April 16, 2022, we refinanced our 2021 Kia *** through our credit union and paid off World Kia Joliet. On or about May 12, 2022, my husband, ***, requested cancellation of *** coverage insurance. He was given cancellation papers to sign and submitted to the cashier. We called in June to inquire about how long it would take to get a refund from the *** insurance refund and was told that the insurance was not cancelled. *** resubmitted the forms and was told it would take approximately 4-6 weeks for refund. After numerous attempts to get this matter resolved, I spoke to the General Manager, ***. *** stated she would get this matter resolved by having the required forms emailed to me and I could email them back as well as have it backdated to the initial requested date. This has not happened and as a matter of fact, *** has neglected to take our phone calls and the insurance has still not been cancelled.

Problems with their finance department. The first time they took two payments the first month. The next time my payment went to the wrong account (previous car loan). This time account was supposec to be fixed. Guess what no payment was directly taken out like it was supposed to and they set this withdrawal up themselves!

The amount paid / loan taken out for $29,221.60 The salesman at the business promised the car would total to around *** after setting up auto payments and also stated all the warranties were free because the car was brand new, he said, "everything was included " The nature of my dispute is false advertisement, and guarantee and warranty issues. After finding out I was going to pay this price the manager signing papers with us did not seem surprised his employee lied to us to make the sale commenting that he was going to have a talk with him. I called several lawyers and other car dealers to find out that I did not need to purchase these warranties that were forced into my contract, The whole sale was unprofessional from the start. The vehicle purchased was a kia *** 2022 in exchange for my traded in car which was a 2012 Chrysler 200. The point of this sale was not only to get a more reliable car but one that fit my large family instead we were manipulated into this car as being told this is our only option.

I was advised there was no *** up & to come in & ask for ***. When I arrived at the dealership I worked with *** & advised him of my conversation with ***/*** in finance. *** went to his manager-she advised me in order to purchase the *** S I would have to pay an added price of $2995.00 over the *** for a Luxor protection package for paint/upholstery that was added on to all the *** S on the lot that were available. The option was not by the manufacturer. I was told if absolutely could not be removed. Why would a dealership add a package to vehicles that arent sold giving the customer no choice if they wanted the protection package? Then pass the cost on to the consumer? Seems like a deceptive gimmick! I feel like I was baited to come in under the pretense of no *** up. Once I was at the dealership & interested in the vehicle *** did not mention the add on over *** till his manager came & told me.

I purchased a used car in January 2022 from World *** in Joliet my salesman way ***. I noticed that there was a crack in the front window and brought this to his attention & the managers attention. The manager said no problem we can fix that with no charge to me. I called the dealership on April 16th trying to make an appointment to have the window fixed.They didn't know what I was talking about. I then spoke to the same salesman ***. He remembered me & stated that all he had to do was print the paperwork & take it back to service. That never happened. I then spoke with the general manager *** on Tuesday April 19th and told her what was going on. She stated that she would call me back that Thursday April 21st. Never heard from her. I called a left a message for her today. Still no response. I wouldn't have never brought a car that had damage to the front window.

Upon driving the vehicle, every now and then, it would shift gears a little rough, but I thought it may be part of breaking in a new vehicle.4/11/22 Dropped off vehicle at dealership to get a sunroof installed.4/14/22 Picked up vehicle from dealership. Noticed that when braking, the car would shake.4/16/22 While away from home, I turned on the car and the malfunction light was on. While driving home, I noticed that the RPMs were higher than usual. Then realized that the car was driving in 1 gear and was not shifting from gear to gear while driving. When I got home, my husband drove the car and confirmed same. I have not driven the car since. My husband called the dealership and explained the problem. At first they said the best they could do was get me into service on Thursday, 4/21, but then said they could squeeze me in on Wednesday, 4/20. The car is now sitting in my garage, unused, until we can get it into Service on Wed., 4/20. Please note that even though I purchased this car just over 2 weeks ago, they have told me they have no loaner cars available and that they would have to diagnose the problem to see if it is covered under warranty and to see if I qualify for a rental car.

I just bought a new Kia *** on April 9, 2022 and early Friday April 22 the car handle broke off I did go to the dealership Friday morning around 10:00-10:30 am to tell them what happened and they told me it was from miss use so I told them it should be covered underneath the warranty because it was not miss use then the guy told me he would summit it to the warranty department and proceeded to tell me he would call me back in a few hours and let me know what was going on I didnt hear anything back from him so I called Monday April 25,2022 to see what was going on and they said it was Denied but there where two ladys there who agreed with me that there was no way I had the power to break the door handle and there telling me I have to pay out of my pocket for a Defect from manufacture and its not covered witch is wrong they should fix it if they do not fix the door handle I will give them the car back I feel like a new car should not break unless you are Extremely careless all the other handles work fine and I open them the same way I did on the passenger front door witch the passenger handle broke at about 2:00 when my mom was taking me to the er because I was in a lot of pain and found out I had two fractured ribs so there for with me being in that much pain I couldnt have pulled hard Enough to break the handle

I had purchased a *** insurance policy with the purchase of my new vehicle on 8/11. The vehicle was paid off on 3/14/2022. I called the dealership to have the *** insurance policy cancelled. I was told that I needed to come into the dealership to complete paperwork to have the policy cancelled. I personally went into the dealership and completed the paperwork I provided them with a pay off letter as well. I never received the partial refund from the policy cancellation. I called multiple times, and was always connected to a different person or department regarding this. On 5/11/22 I spoke with a *** in the business office who told me she would have to speak with her supervisor regarding this and she would call me back. I have never received a call back. I have called trying to reach *** several times and left messages with no return call. I was then told by *** that the cancellation request had to be sent to a cancellation email. This was the first time I was told this. I then sent the cancellation request and documentation of pay off to the their cancellation email and to *** on 6/16/22. I have not received a response to the cancellation request or a payment of the refund. The dealership is very unhelpful and no one seems to know how to cancel a *** insurance policy or refuses to do so at the customers request. I am requesting the policy be cancelled as of the date of pay off 3/14/2022 and the refund issued immediately.

I took my 2020 car for service on April 15 due to acceleration issues. I purchased it brand new in October . After a week without updates, despite my calls, it turned out I needed a new transmission. Fortunately, the transmission is covered by my warranty. However, it took another week for the approval of the replacement. Meanwhile, I've incurred rental car expenses. My car has been at the dealership for 10 weeks now. I'm forced to call weekly for updates, despite promises they'd contact me, which they haven't. I've been waiting for a loaner the whole time and have spent a significant amount on a rental. Needing a car for work, this situation hinders my job. It's frustrating to make payments on a new car, with low mileage, that already requires a new transmission. I've tried to be patient, understanding the backorder is not the dealer's fault, but the lack of concern for my situation and poor customer service is disheartening. I've received inconsistent information and feel brushed off. Last week I was fourth in line for a loaner; now I'm fifth, after 10 weeks.

Called about a car listed at $31,000. Visited the dealership, test drove, and awaited my trade-in appraisal. Unbeknownst to me, they ran my credit despite my request to wait for the trade-in value. The salesperson presented paperwork showing a price hike to $41,000, contrary to the $31,000 quoted on the phone. The store manager reviewed the call recording, confirmed the original quote, and discussed the discrepancy with the salesperson. Despite the evidence, the dealership did not honor the quoted price and processed my credit check without consent. They offered a free extended warranty on the $41,000 price, which I declined, emphasizing the car's history and auction origin. The manager then suggested an Acura, deviating from my interest in the Mustang. The dealership's actions affected my credit report with unauthorized inquiries, although they later offered to assist in disputing the records.

So I got a card in the mail that guaranteed me alone to get a new car which guided me to *** on *** Street and Joliet *** May 1st 2022 at 11:00 a.m. I talked to a young lady by the name of *** who proceeded to sell me a *** when she got done with the paperwork I wind up with a *** 2017 it had a donut on it she sent me around to repair they told me it would be a week before I got in when I did get in a week later they had to order my rim which took another week while I had to take a small break from work because I could not drive on the donut and the process of that *** came to my house and said she need another check stub the next day I went back over there *** on *** Street in Joliet *** I talked to someone else they proceeded to tell me they wanted to check the mileage on the car which became a problem cuz I didn't understand why I love very upset 3 days later I talked to a young man by the name of *** he was supposed to get in contact with me he never did and they came and told my car which took 2 days for me to find out where my belongings was and the whole time it was in there possession I ask why did they take my car he told me the bank we need on their loan I asked for my $600 down payment back he gave me my bolognes and told me to take them a small claims court once again I'm 50 years old I'm disabled on a fixed income I got other personal things going on I tried to explain that to them I got no compassion no respect they was just downright rude all I want is my down payment back thank you P.S. when I did proceed to get my stuff out the car all the paperwork was gone that was in my glove compartment once again just rule and disrespectful

I purchased a 2019 rogue sport from World *** in Joliet May 9, 2022 nine days after I purchased the truck to check engine light came on I called to make a complaint I was given the runaround every time I have called them for the last two months now From the month of May towards the ending of May all the way up to June 14 I was at World *** in Joliet 40 miles from my home every Tuesday they will tell me to come to get the truck fixed I will be there the minimum two hours maximum five nothing never got fixed June 14 they gave me a loaner vehicle kept my truck for three weeks instead of one thing being wrong with the truck there were three things wrong with the truck and they claim to have fixed them I picked my truck up 3 to 4 days before the Fourth of July and that following Tuesday the truck started to overheat when I press the brakes in traffic the car will start overheating when I accelerate And start moving forward the gauge will go back down to normal in between the and the *** They towed my truck to their location a mechanic found the problem and said I will be charged *** dollars to fix a coolent fan thats broken. I feel this company is very unprofessional and dishonest every time I call and ask to speak to the *** or owner via phone or email I get the run around from every department in that company. I spent my saving of $5,000 for the down payment plus $980.00 on insurance and they act as if its my fault I have a paper trail of photos and video of the way the car was given to me up until now my last picture there were chicken bones under the hood when I look to see why the truck was over heating I thought maybe they didnt top off any of the fluids for the truck such as oil, windshield wiper fluid and coolent fluid. *an you please help me handle this matter I love my truck I feel they should have gave me one thats in working condition instead of something thats was not prepared to go to sales because they see a $5,000.00 sale

On 01/29, I went to World to get a trade-in value for my existing car, a 2020 model. I met with a sales representative, and the car was appraised. We looked at two vehicles, including a 2022 special edition. The sales rep consulted with a sales manager. They offered various incentives and agreed to pay off my Sorento. The initial deal included no down payment, a complimentary remote starter, and paying off my vehicle with a new car payment plan. I returned later and met with Rubby to sign the papers. Earlier, the sales rep had obtained a 10-day payoff quote for the Sorento, which was $34,000. Over the next week, I repeatedly contacted the dealership about the payoff status. I spoke to a staff member who mentioned they were seeking a better deal. I visited the dealership to inquire about the delay and was told of an ACH issue, which the bank later denied. Despite my efforts, the dealership did not meet the 10-day payoff deadline. On the final day, I learned a new, lower payoff had been requested. I urged the staff to ensure the correct amount was paid. I received no follow-up and later found a balance of $641 owed to the bank. My credit was also run three times, which I want to be addressed.

They jerked me around for almost 3 hours in a very unprofessional manner - This is how car dealers and salesman get the bad reputation they have. It was clear after they offer me an absurd offer and insulted my intelligence I needed to get out of there before my anger got the best of me. *** the salesman, asked me for my drivers license when I test drove the vehicle and keys for my vehicle for them to value the trade. I gave them my spare set of keys that had my house keys on it. Thank God, I didn't give them the other set with my work badge or they would have had access to a full chemical plant. When I got ready to leave, I had to ask for my Driver's License to be returned - completely forgot my spare set as I had my regular set in my hand. It took him 20 minutes to go retrieve my driver's license. I left... I didn't go out of the house until Saturday at 5 p.m. As I was getting ready, I couldn't find my spare set of keys and called them immediately. Told the girl I needed to find out if my keys were there asap as they had my house keys, and the expensive car key... She got snotty with me and stated that they were very busy and didn't have time to get a manager to look for the key. I told her I needed a call back asap on the status of those keys as my house keys were missing. I gave her my phone number. Meanwhile, I called my local police department and they put on a officer patrol on my home until World *** produced my keys. Then I called Joliet police department who said they would give me a police *** to their dealership on Monday if needed. I ended up calling the dealership back about 45 minutes later. The same snotty girl answered and told me they found my keys and were there to pick up. I told her I couldn't get there until Monday. I am very concerned that these are shady business practices and feel that my home safety has been breached by keeping my keys

I contacted World Kia Joliet on 6/7/2022 and began a text message conversation with a sales rep named *** I expressed interest in a 2021 or 2022 Kia *** I also explained that my income of $2100 is provided by the VA once a month. *** explained that my income credit score and proof of *** statements were sufficient enough to move forward with the loan application never did *** tell me that it was a pre-approval. I called world Kia Joliet and asked to speak to *** in order to scheduled a appointment for 6/8/2022. I spoke with a woman who said she was *** and scheduled my appointment for 4:30 on 6/8/2022. on 6/7/2022 @ 6:30pm I received a call from *** explaining that I in fact did not speak with her on the phone at all & she wanted to clarify that I would be coming in to see her on 6/8/2022 @4:30pm. I received a call on 6/8/2022 at 10:30 am from *** stating she just wanted to make sure I was still coming in at 4:30 today. I confirmed Id be there and *** said shed see me @4:30 I drove 2 hours from my school to Joliet when I arrived at 4:25 I walked in asked to speak to *** they called her name over the intercom after 2 min a gentleman named *** came to me and said hed be taking care of me today shes not in. I explained to him I had been in contact with *** we discussed my appointment and needs several times including the morning of 6/8/2022. He went on to apologize and proceeded to ask me to give him my license and bank statements I emailed my bank statements to him and he took my license when J *** returned he explained he would be running my credit again because he had no access to *** records. My 2015 Kia *** was towed in for the engine to be replaced on May 11 2022 after the engine seized.It was to be replaced free of charge due to a class action law suit.The service department rep was very rude and unprofessional from the beginning, when I called to see what was wrong with the car ,he stated that it would possibly take up to 2 weeks to even diagnose the problem. During this conversation I explained that my daughter was driving on the expressway and the car cut off, he stated " maybe she shouldn't be driving if she didn't know what to do,well she didn't die did she? " later that day he called to apologize for being rude... they told me to get a rental and bring the payment receipt to them and they would reimburse me because they didn't have any loaners available...after the engine was replaced they told me that they don't reimburse @ the dealership that I have to go on a website and file a claim for reimbursement. When they were replacing the engine they said that I need a radiator and they were going to charge over a thousand dollars to put it in, after I went and discussed the issue they put the radiator in that I supplied free of charge. Then a few days later they called and said the car was ready. My daughter went to pick it up and noticed a very rough idle while sitting still,even more prominent when the air was on. Took the car back and they said that they gave us paperwork stating that she need to replace her air compressor (which they never did),tried to charge us over a thousand dollars yet AGAIN to replace the air compressor.They ended up doing it free of charge. When she went to pick the car up yet AGAIN it was still shaking badly to the point that you can see the license page shaking and if you touch the car you can feel it shaking, you can see the engine shaking (badly)... when we asked if they changed the motor mounts they said "no,all we replace is the engine".The car wasn't shaking or idling rough before the engine seized...
