AC went out and D&H Air came to the rescue. So thankful they work on the weekends. Feel bad that they have to work so much during our Tucson summers, but Kory was super friendly and fixed up the AC just like that. Didn't think it would be so fast, but thanks again folks for saving my household on a super hot Tucson summer weekend!

As he serviced our 10+ year unit, he explained and pointed out the main components and how they operated which provided me with a wealth of information. Asked for a quote, was told *** would get back to me. Its been two at least two weeks. I havent heard anything since. Apparently theyre doing so well that they dont need additional work. Ill look for another company that will be willing to accept what I estimate to be in excess of $8k+. Thanks to your inability to seek additional revenue, youve lost a potential customer. I will be informing anyone that inquires to avoid your organization because your lack of response indicates that D&H does not need the potential customer/revenue. Im required to leave a star rating however, they dont give an option for zero stars so I have to rate a 1 as it is the lowest I can give.

We came home to an a/c which was only blowing hot air and the house was 93 degrees. We got a quick response from D and H and had a technician to our home in less than an hour! The repair was completed within 30 minutes. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable and explained what our problem was. We have used D & H for over 20 years and have always been happy with their service.

The first thing was the poor installation. It caused a big leak and damage to the ceiling. I am still waiting over a month now to have the repairs completed. I have wires dangling from my roof. The *** was rigged to connect my thermostat that doesn't work. Again, it does not work because it runs cold all day. It does not shut off. Even after walking through trouble shooting with the *** manufacturer. I have painting and repairs indoors and outdoors. No one is calling or following up with this. The house needs the installation that was taken out from the attic. We were left with the dirty mess and marks all over the walls. Living with the *** at 65 degrees, "day in and day out" has been so difficult, no one here yet to fix it. And no calls. The house continues to be humid and smelly. Please do not go with ***. They admit to all the problems but will not come out and fix it. How long will this go on.

We had our annual service for both our AC/heating unit as well as our Evaporative Cooler. D&H continues to provide excellent and easy service for us and we are very happy. Kalem L was the service tech again for us and he is professional, courteous, and thorough. Kalem always explains what he is doing in terms we can understand. He works hard and we can trust what he does and says. Certainly we can highly recommend Kalem and D&H for the good work they do.

Kalem was OUTSATNDING! We'd give him a 10 star review if we could. First off he was very polite and considerate. In addition he was very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything to us including all of the options to repair our A/C. He worked fast and efficiently, but still took the time we needed to understand it all. We didn't feel rushed or just another "number" in the system. We will never use another HVAC company for repair or service. Keep up the GREAT work!

The service tech called before he came, arrived with in scheduled time and best of all was polite, knowledgeable, and a great representative of this company. He explained everything he was doing and showed us what he needed to fix. His got the job done, left everything cleaner than when he got here. I will use this company and will always ask for Fernando.

*** the service tech was great but D&H is awful
the service tech was great but D&H is awful. *** came out to see why the heater wasn't working. He found that the *** board was bad along with another part. He did not have the parts with him so he would have the company call me to let me know about coming back to repair it and I ask to be kept informed of the status. The unit is still under warranty so I paid the service call fee. *** had mentioned that the *** board was not in stock the next day and ask if D&H had called me yet and I said no. It's been a week now and nothing from them. It's pretty sad that they want the service call fee paid even though they haven't repaired the heater yet. So I'm going to call them tomorrow to find out what the h*** they are planning on doing.

My a/c started blowing hot air. Called D&H. Guy comes out, does his thing, dazzels me with photos & big a/c words. Does not have parts prices now but I am to call the office in the morning if I had not heard from them. I called in the morning. $6500.00 dollars! Decided to get a second opinion. Second guy comes out the next day. No photos, no ***. Went on the roof, found nothing wrong but a plugged drain! He fixed the drain, cleaned the unit & charged me a few dollars. I asked for a three year maintenance agreement(this was not their idea but mine). This company now has a customer for life. I am a disabled Viet Nam veteran and can't help but wonder how many people they lie & cheat? If they'll do it to me, they'll do it to you!

We belong to D & H's Guardian Club so we scheduled our summer checkup. Our service technician is Arturo Aragon. We always specifically request him as he is very knowledgeable and does an excellent job, checking all the required components, suggesting improvements, and explaining everything thoroughly. Arturo did all the usual checks and noticed our condenser fan motor had been leaking oil. He suggested we replace it along with the controller (both covered under warranty). When we mentioned we had experienced some power surges and brown-outs recently he suggested surge protectors on both the AC and furnace which we were happy to have installed along with a hard start to further reduce stress on the compressor. We recently repainted our house and Arturo noticed some large paint splotches on the fan blades. He said they could cause the fan to get slightly out of balance and offered to scrape them off for us (which he did)! We definitely rate Arturo's service as five star!

I've been a customer of D&H for 20 years. Their staff totally understands what good customer service is all about. From the office staff that take my call, to the service techs, they are always considerate, professional, and provide excellent service. Today I called, the heat had gone out overnight, and it was 62 in the house when I got up this morning. I contacted D&H at 0700, their answering service took my call, and forwarded that message on to the office. The office called at 0830 and told me they would send a tech out today to check on the problem. Fidel Meza was here at 0945, checked the unit and discovered a loose wire that had touched the metal frame, which shorted out the system. He repaired that and totally checked out the unit; waited to make sure the unit was working properly (which included a temperature check of the incoming air). Very personable and professional, excellent individual to deal with and a great reflection of the service D&H provides. Would recommend this company to everyone who needs HVAC service.

I had all new ductwork replaced and done by D and H
I had all new ductwork replaced and done by D and H. It was done in October. I can't recall the timeline but at least sometime in late 2019 or 2020 my bedroom was not as cool as I liked it and noticed when I went to the *** room outside, I could feel cold air through the blocks of my manufactured home. I called them and they came out and fixed it no problem and no charge (as it should be). He said it came loose from the vent. Now my son's room is hot and I immediately went outside to the *** room and could feel cold air on where his vent would be. I called them and they want to charge me $95 fee plus the time to fix it. Plus they didn't bother to call me, but instead had the wonderful ladies who answer the phone to *** off their bad news.. If you did this work and the ductwork is coming off...I'd say that is shoddy work and you should stand behind it. No one has been under my house since the last guy from D and H was here to fix it. Now I'm wondering how many more will come loose. I'd rather have someone else come fix it and they can charge me.to do it right. So disappointed as I've had good service from them prior to this incident.

I live in Arizona for starters, my house is just about 1700 square feet. The reason I used this company because a neighbor referred them, unfortunately my experience is nothing short of highway robbery. My AC unit was not cooling last summer, in short they said I had a leak, spent over $250 for a sealant that worked until the next scheduled maintenance visit. So I had already spent over $100 per pound for freon, total 4pds, so I'm over $700.00 in addition to paying for another $250 for a maintenance "Guardian Membership" subscription in order to get a discount on the repair and freon, totaling over $900.00 plus taxes. After the visit my unit was used over the Summer with no issues, as Winter arrived I haven't used it until the next maintenance visit, approximately 4 to 6 months I didn't use the unit at all as the Winter was perfect enough to not need the heat on. So my next "Guardian Membership" visit, the unit took long to heat and or cool, the tech said I could "possibly" have a coil leak, and to have a "Comfort Consultant" sell me an entire "NEW SYSTEM". He was so quick to sell me a system casually stating it could be around $20,000.00. I'm like really? That's just insane, I asked what about repairing the coil and he threw another absurd figure $5,000 to $8,000.00. That's why he said the system first he stated. He also notated the current controller was operating outside specifications, as to pricing he never gave it to me as he could see by the look in my eyes I was already disgusted from the stench of b.s. I'm sure I needed some sort of repair but the quick decision to replace the unit and just throw out thousands of dollars as if they were pennies really made me suspicious of this companies actions. They always appear to try and up sell everything! The first tech tried to up sell a drip pan valve for a few hundred as a safety measure. Like really? So afterwards I asked him to get me exact quotes as I am NOT rich. I get an email with a quote for 4,862.90 to remove and replace the evaporator coil, that doesn't include current controller. I didn't even want to bother to have some "Comfort Consultant" at that point come to my house. Mind you, I had asked him if he gets any kickbacks from selling a system and he said yes. I also read in his notes and he said verbatim "evaporator coil seemed to be in decent condition with no indications of damage, however there was some corrosion spots..." So how does that justify replacing an entire unit? How about figuring it out, taking the time to find relatively affordable repairable options? In my opinion this is highway robbery, he and the company is completely lackadaisical! They won't refund the sealant that did NOT work, and loss of Freon. I asked them to give me a refund and never responded via email or phone about the refund. But I did get an email asking me if I would like to renew my "Guardian Membership"? The fact that this company supposedly repairs AC's and sells the units appears to be a conflict of interest. They are as bad as a Jiffy Lube, up selling, dishonest, lack of empathy and or compassion, lack of interest to actually investigate and offer affordable options vs let's replace the entire unit and we will finance you lacks any kind of business ethics. I called another company and coil replacement can start at 1,300 and or replacement of a system starting at 6,000.00. That's already more than half saved for just calling them. Keep in mind my home is small, 1700 sq ft. In closing, this company is clear and concise about taking the customers hard earned cash or credit by any means necessary by NOT taking the time and care to actually "affordable fix" their so called Guardian Members, by offering unrealistic bloated costs, unnecessary ad on's, and lackadaisical staff, including the CEO. This is a systemic issue that starts from the CEO down..

They over charge on parts by 500% or more. I think they leak freon from my system so they can say I have a leak.
