DinoDirect internet theft

I put 1 star because I couldn't review any lower, They suck and should be closed down. Following this statement is the real conversation back and forth between myself and a dinodirect customer service rep. A little back ground, I ordered a product on 5/17/2011 and haven't received it yet.

I am not pleased with the customer service that I am receiving with your company and do not believe that myself or anyone I know will ever do business with you again. Seven Business days have come and gone and all I am asking for is an email letting me know that my order has been or is being shipped

Hi, we have double checked for you that your package is ready to be shipped and you may get the shippment confirmation letter within 24-48hours and it may take 3-7 days for you to get the package. We are sorry for the delay but before the shippment we would need some days to prepare the items for you. So hope you can understand. Really appreciate it.

The SKU number for the replacement is SKU:A1223000BL, Because of my inconvenience I do not expect to be charged for the difference in price, I also expect it to be shipped no later then tomorrow's date, This inconvenience has gone on long enough and it is up to your company to remedy this situation. This is because you were out of stock, you have my money, it wasn't out of stock and didn't take you 9 business days to receive it. I expect the same consideration.

2 to 3 days to prep my order is not acceptable to me now. Today is a business day and someone can walk themselves back to your warehouse, pick my product from the bin or shelf that it is on, pull it out of that box to quality inspect it and repackage it and ship it to me. ITS JUST THAT SIMPLE! I expect an email no later then 5pm eastern time on 6/7/2011 letting me know that my product has been shipped. I have already been in contact with ripoff.com and have an email ready to send to the FCC.

I understant that my shipping suggestion is not how it works but that is how it needs to work today. My patients is at its end and your company agreeing to ship my order and actually shipping my order is 2 different things, you must be able to understand that I have received no assurance from your company AT ALL. If you want to impress me, then ship my order.

But it seems to me that you do not understand, you have not fulfilled any aspect of my order that your website says that you would. First you site said that my order would be processed in 2 to 3 business days and 3 to 7 business days after that before the ordered would arrive. It took 11 business days to find out that you were out of stock. Is your company prone to false advertisement?

Terrible Customer Service after ordering two items. The products arrived after a very long wait ...one broken and the other needing batteries not available in the USA. DinoDirect.com has ignored repeated multiple requests for help. They took my money, but will not respond to any emails asking for either a replacement or my money back. I would suggest extreme caution when considering doing business with DinoDiect.com if my experience is an indication of their level of Customer Care.

DinoDirect Scam

I bought a $35 laser pointer from www.dinodirect.com. The pointer after 10 minutes of use. The switch was apparently defective. I contacted them for a replacement or refund. First they asked me to take it somewhere to have it repaired, then send them the bill! Yeah, right! Then they said they'd send me a replacement. Then they said they'd have to have the broken one back, and I HAVE to send it by mail with a tracking number only. Well, the cheapest way to send it back with a tracking number cost's $85.00! I have to believe they knew this! Well, I sent it back anyway to the address they gave me without the tracking. Doesn't make sense to pay $85 to recover $35. A month later and they say they still don't have it. I say BS! They have it, and it looks like I'm out $35 because I don't have a tracking number to prove they have it. All the stuff they sell is cheap Chinese made junk. Avoid Dino Direct at all costs. If you buy from them, forget about any warranty's you think you may have!

Hi there!

I am another unhappy customer.

Three week ago (11th of July 2011) I ordered roller blades ($47) as well as protective gear set ( $22).
First thing that was annoying is that up until you proceed to check out you will have no idea about how much delivery will cost (and in my case it was $45).
The second thing is that after my previous purchase I had some reward points left. During my check out I was trying to understand which way I will benefit more and I ticked the box "redeem points". I never proceeded with that order since than, but the fact of life is that I lost my points.

About two weeks of waiting I logged in to check order status and found that if was despatched on 22nd of July.
As I was unsatisfied I raised a two questions:
1. my points disappeared and I never used any of them.
2. since my order was shipped after they started theirs 2nd birthday campaign and I am unsatisfied - may I have a 60 reward coupon?

I had a very unpleasant communication with the person that only made clear that my points are gone, because I used them.
She also made clear that my order was actually shipped on 24th and that they are out of stock for protective gear that I ordered and they are offering me a $25 coupon (it is $3 over that price that I have paid two weeks before just to cover those two weeks that it took them to realise - "### we don't have it").

As I am now even less satisfied than from the beginning I refused to take 25 and persisting on settling at 60. After 2-weeks delay in shipment and knowing that I have paid for something that is not existent this might make me feel reimbursed for all my suffers.

And can anyone also please tell me where did I use my points? I created an order and deleted it without paying for it. It is like going into Woolworth cashier and asking for a cash out and changing your mind same time and your money will be drawn off you, but you will end up not getting them.
I don't care about those points to be honest - it is only 1% of the purchase price, so even without them it is ok, but it is the fact that I "used them" and they claim it as it is my fault - that pisses me off.

That is my last shopping experience with these guys, and I hope my message will make it clear for others - stay away, don't risk your money.

I order a night vision scope and recieved a monocular scope with NO night vision and paid $45.43. The Item I recieved is not a night vision scope, I also check the price or value for that item at other web sites, it retails for $36.25.follow their procedures to correct their mistake. After a month, they suggest I keep it because the "postage return to China is "very expensive" . So I got rip-off. I'm attaching their email word per word what I was sent from their fastsupport team. Its also made from 100% plastic not metal. DinoDirect has not change the wording on their web page to remove "NIGHT VISON" on their web site

Thank you for your letter. The night vision Scope cant just be used in the plain dark situiation. You can use it in the early morning or in the light dark. It cannot be used at night. Thanks for your cooperation. If you want to return it, you should pay the postage at your cost and need to return it to China warehouse, the postage is very expensive. So we suggest that you keep the item.

I have also had the same thing happen. They shipped the incorrect item, but your too afraid to return it. Who knows if they will honor refunds. Never order from China. .

DinoDirect refusing refund

I ordered 2 items through DinoDirect to the value of $113 and never received the order. After 5 weeks i contacted DinoDirect via 'live chat' and they refused a refund stating i should purchase substitute items in replace of the originals. They are virtually impossible to contact and i have tried the live chat service several times since, but they ignore me. They need to be accountable for their dishonest dealings and lack of care to their customers. I want a refund like many other customers and we should be given back what is rightfully ours. DinoDirect Beware of this Company

My experience with this company appears to be identical to that of dozens of other Dino Direct victims. You pay for the order and you are informed that you will recieve tracking info within 48 hours of SHIPMENT. You wait a few weeks and since you have recieved nothing you try to contact the company. You check your order number and it says " Unpaid"...but you paid (if you're lucky" by Paypal. Up to a week ago, you could converse online with a representative...you can't now. But if you do get one you are told that they have sent a partial shipment. But you are never sent a tracking number for the shipment as promised (several people have posted that they were sent bogus tracking numbers). You request a cancellation of all items that have not been shipped. They acknowledge that they recieved your request...then you don't hear from them again. There are probably hundreds of disreputable companies like Dino Direct on the internet. The problem that I have is why is Paypal doing business with a company that has so many online complaints and an "F" BBB rating? When I find that out from Paypal I'll repost their reply.

Funny thing about the BBB. There's two entries for the exact same company. One is A+, the other is near F. Why this happened I do not know.
It took two months for me to find this out But my experience with "Dinodirect.com" is horrid. Need proof, today is 03/27/2017 and the order was placed two months ago.

I want to add my short story to this list. Dino Direct STINKS! No customer support, no communication, send faulty products, will not refund or replace. It costed me extra $160 to ship the faulty product back to China and have not heard from them since. No refund, no replacement, no replies to my correspondence and now, after four months they have closed the case for "no activity in seven days".

Buyers RUN away from this company. I ordered an Android tablet and paid extra for "fast" delivery, which was not honored. In fact it took them 15 days to send the item.

The tablet was defective--would not turn on. Loose screen. Plus two items were missing which were included in the description. I am trying to get my money back from Paypal. DinoDirect's customer service is a joke. Very rude. Chat people disconnect you when asking and they do not answer emails. This Chinese company is a major SCAM!

DinoDirect customer service

This store is incredibly difficult to communicate to. I have spent an hour navigating their website to leave a message regarding a recent purchase. I received an email that they collected the funds for an items purchased on 12/8. Another email was sent on 12/15 that the item had been shipped and I could track the package. The tracking number continued to be invalid until 12/22 when it finally said the item had been shipped from Singapore! I little to late for Christmas. Hope we get our Ski googles before the ski season is over! :) I will NEVER purchase from this company again and I suggest you think twice before you do.

Money fraud while shopping! I made two orders on Dinodirect, and paid through moneybookers. The transactions were successful, but the shop claims they never received the money. Every day I enter the chat, explaining my situation to an each time new operator, who asks the same stuff, and it seems they don't even check anything. Or may be there is no need to check - they just took money and that's it. Money was taken from my bank account, moneybookers confirmed ten times, that transactions were successful, but somehow Dinodirect didn't receive them. And they continue to send me product deals and messages from their "support", like "we checked and transactions were unsuccessful, have a nice day!", using the numbers of transactions on moneybookers, that I've send to them! They are just laughing on me! Never, ever buy anything from this site. I was buying in many Chinese, American, European shops, but such an obvious fraud I meet for the first time.

I ordered 4 dresses and a veil from them November 2017. I have yet to receive my items. One was my wedding dress and veil…the others were my bridesmaids dresses. I thought I was getting a deal when all I got was a major headache. I have fought with these people for weeks. First of all, I cannot understand a single word they say. It seems as though once I started complaining that they supposedly shipped the items… yeah right, , lies! Not only did I pay for UPS shipping, but they supposedly again sent the items United State Postal Service.

They told me That UPS does not ship packages over 5 lbs? Are you serious? Apparently they have no idea what is going on. I put a feeze on the paypal money. When i contacted them again they didn’t ask for my order number, , they just said “Please drop the claim”.. now how the hell did they know what orders I was even talking about. They flat out told me the money was frozen and they offered me 30 bucks. I tried cancelling my order previous to their shipping and they wouldn’t let me.

Back in June i orderd from Dino Diorect a 16 GB microSD card. The packet arrived with the Adapter but no micro SD . I took a photo and staarted a Case with them – Absolutely no response until tonight I get the following . . . Hank you for Choosing Dinodirect! We are writing to inform you that we will be closing this case due to not having received any updates from you for 7 days .If there is any further information you need to receive in regard to this query, please feel free to re-open or active this case. I am tgrying to chat with someone called Emilly who answers my complaint with a ? and then tells me that the black thing in the phoont 9 the adapter is the card. I could never recommend Dino Direct.

I bought a small camera from DinoDirect and it doesn’t work. The correct lights don’t light up and Windows gives error messages as soon as I connect it. I contacted DinoDirect two months ago about the issue and all they do is keep asking questions and say the unit should be compatible with XP and Vista. They are taking no notice of my explanations and do not look like helping me in any way. I do not recommend buying anything from DinoDirect because their after sales service is terrible. I suspect I will end up losing my money with an item that is clearly faulty.

This website is totally fake, scam and fraud site. I bought some goods this morning and after paying still the order was showing as ‘UNPAID’ and after 10 minutes the order got deleted by itself. Customer service is incompetent and useless.. .they said it must be an error from my side and not ready to accept that I bought any stuff …even though It’s showing in my transaction history as paid and money is also deduced from my bank account .It’s so Unbelievable ..these people care nothing about your hard earned money…so please don’t waste your time and money on such a company who cares nothing about customers.

Moments after placing an order, I attempted to cancel it which is, essentially, impossible on DinoDirect. Sure, there's an option provided, but after selecting it, you will continuously be told that the order # that you entered is incorrect. If you choose to use the live chat, you will rudely be disconnected or if you do connect, will be asked repeatedly why you want to cancel your order. They will not cancel your unshipped order, regardless. DON"T order from this unethical online retailer. Terrible customer service and endless runaround to avoid loosing a sale. Beware!

I ordered a product and paid online on Dec. 8, 2017, and was told it would arrive in time for Christmas. I never received the product and soon after the holiday, got an email saying they were "behind on orders." After many of these emails, it's been nearly 2 months and the product has still not arrived. There is no contact phone # on their website, only a fax #. I have sent several emails and a fax and no one is responding to me. This company is not legit or reliable by any means. BEWARE.

In November 2017 I ordered over $400 worth of goods from Dino Direct (online store). I chased the whereabouts of the goods and they told me that our address was undeliverable. We are a business in Sydney's CBD and receive international packages everyday.

I have emailed them multiple times to either receive the goods or a refund and they have not responded.

It is now April and still no response from them. Their website makes it almost impossible to get in contact with them. There are no phone numbers to call which makes it increasingly frustrating. They are a scam that is for sure.

At the end of March I received from BEIERLAN CO LTD ordered through Dino Direct an IMITO 8" Tablet. When it arrived I unpacked it and put it on charge with the ac/dc Adapter only to find the adapter was faulty and not working. Over the following 5 weeks with numerous e-mails and chats with DinoDirect customer services and promises to send a replacement, last night in reply to yet another email from me I received an e-mail from them telling me to return the faulty adapter which upon receipt of same they would send a replacement. As I am not prepared to wait another 6 weeks I have decided to return the whole lot back to them for a refund. This is the worst service I have had from any company and will never deal with them again!

I purchased a Tablet PC from Dinodirect about a month ago. It worked up until last week. Since last Friday I have been in constant communication with their "Customer Service" both via their website RMA and by direct email. The Tablet has ceased to function and will not switch on. They first asked for a photograph which uploaded although I would have thought they would have known what it looked like! How a photo of something that does not switch on helps I do not know. This was then followed by a request for a video. How do you video a tablet which will not switch on? Anyway I duly took a video of my wife trying to switch it on and uploaded it both to their email address and to the website RMA.
The worst feature of this fiasco is that the tablet was a gift for my Grandson who has had the use of it for less than a month. How am I to tell him that I appear to be dealing with a company Dinodirect who are dubious in their business practices to say the least.

I ordered 2 pairs of pajamas on Oct. 29, 2017. On October 30 I got an e-mail from them stating my order had been sent out and that tracking info would follow within 24 hours. Never received this tracking info.
I went to the website to seek customer service by e-mail. Their policy stated the e-mail would be answered within 48 hours. It's 3 days now and no word from them. I tried to re-file the question but their software is programmed to tell you your request is still "processing." Well, after 4 days it is still processing.
It seems that their website is designed to prevent any real communication with the company; basically, to keep customers 'at bay.'
I've been dealing with internet companies for years and this is the first time I feel I've been scammed. These folks do nothing that they say they are going to do. Once your credit card payment is processed it's the great void___as if they don't exist. If the pj's ever come fine, but I've basically written off the $60. loss. I'm sorry for the folks who spent much more than I did.

DinoDirect BUYER BEWARE OR ELSE YOU WILL CERTAINLY REGRET IT!!!

This is already turning out to be the WORST shopping experience I have ever had! I have PAID FOR MY ORDER IN FULL VIA PAYPAL but when I log into my account on the Dino Direct website, it is marked as "unpaid" & when I tried to email them on their forums, one of their arrogant staff finally replied after I had posted & directly emailed them about a dozen emails!... My order # is: 542372-DD & finally after a ridiculously long wait this arrogant staff member told me that I had not paid because I had not clicked on their "security checkout" even though I did & I emailed them back a copy of the entire email PayPal sent me including my transaction ID #:6199416246681123P but they still have not got back to me & my order is still showing up as "order unpaid" despite my numerous emails to them throughout the entire day which have remained unanswered! -I feel that I may have no choice but to open up a PayPal dispute & that will be proof to them that I PAID IN FULL despite their arrogant staff telling me that I haven't when in fact I HAVE & WILL PROVE IT BY FILING A DISPUTE ON THEM IF NEED BE!... Please DO NOT believe any positive posts as their employees often pose as consumers (often quite obvious that they are doing this) on their forums as well as other websites reviewing them like this one & I will NEVER place another order with them ever again!... Also, in the beginning it was possible to speak to someone directly via a live chat option on their website but now it is not an available option & I would say that "it would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle" than to communicate or deal with these crooks!:(... This is already turning out to be the WORST shopping experience I have ever had! I have PAID FOR MY ORDER IN FULL VIA PAYPAL but when I log into my account on the Dino Direct website, it is marked as "unpaid" & when I tried to email them on their forums, one of their arrogant staff finally replied after I had posted & directly emailed them about a dozen emails!... My order # is: 542372-DD & finally after a ridiculously long wait this arrogant staff member told me that I had not paid because I had not clicked on their "security checkout" even though I did & I emailed them back a copy of the entire email PayPal sent me including my transaction ID #:6199416246681123P but they still have not got back to me & my order is still showing up as "order unpaid" despite my numerous emails to them throughout the entire day which have remained unanswered! -I feel that I may have no choice but to open up a PayPal dispute & that will be proof to them that I PAID IN FULL despite their arrogant staff telling me that I haven't when in fact I HAVE & WILL PROVE IT BY FILING A DISPUTE ON THEM IF NEED BE!... Please DO NOT believe any positive posts as their employees often pose as consumers (often quite obvious that they are doing this) on their forums as well as other websites reviewing them like this one & I will NEVER place another order with them ever again!... Also, in the beginning it was possible to speak to someone directly via a live chat option on their website but now it is not an available option & I would say that "it would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle" than to communicate or deal with these crooks!:(... YEAH, MY DISPUTE IS NOW ESCALATED INTO A PAYPAL CLAIM BUT PAYPAL STILL MAKE IT A LONG DRAWN OUT PROCESS WITH ALL THEIR POLICES & LEGALITIES! -I CAN'T BELIEVE THE SCAM ARTISTS ARE EVEN ENTITLED TO SOME RIGHTS LIKE AT LEAST 10 DAYS TO RESPOND BACK TO THE DISPUTE EVEN WHEN IT IS ESCALATED TO A PAYPAL CLAIM!...

I bought some items off dino direct and they took my money but didn't send all the items ordered. I have sent 5 emails and all of them have been ignored. they are a bunch of liars and rip off merchants. Have nothing to do with them .

If you read the paypal site, it says that you have 45 days to dispute the payment. That is 45 days from the transaction date.

DinoDirect Poor Service, Dishonest Vendor

This outfit is the WORST online vendor I have ever done business with. Avoid them like the PLAGUE ! After ordering several gadgets on their website which were indicated to be IN STOCK, they immediately charge my credit card, then tell me that the items are not available, but will be SOON (in a few days). Several weeks pass, and - nothing is delivered. I go to their "online chat" to find out what's going on, and after much delay and many overwrought apologies, and responses in broken english, I'm told the items aren't available due to "high demand" or some such - would I accept some substitutes ? No, I insist, pls CANCEL the order, I want a refund. "Please be patient" - your items will be delivered in 7-14 days. More weeks pass - no delivery. Back to online chat. "Where's my stuff?" "It was shipped to you yesterday" - they give me a bogus tracking number, which leads nowhere. "We will send you a $20 coupon good on a future order." "No, I want a refund of my original order, its been over a month." "We can't do that." I then post a very negative review of Dino on a ratings website - suddenly, I have their attention. If I withdraw my negative rating FIRST, they'll refund my order. I refuse, and file a complaint with Pay-Pal. So, after all this, I still have none of the items I ordered, and no refund. After reading many other internet reviews, I learn that this is their modus operandi. What a colossal waste of time and money ! To make matters worse, they apparently plant bogus reviews of their company EVERYWHERE, to sucker in more customers. NEVER AGAIN ! Their Customer Service is a joke, a hoax.
I hate it when businesses dodge their clients when they are obviously on the wrong!
I hope you're refunded easily.
This experience is making me cautious about these proclaimed 'free worldwide delivery' websites. The shipping charges on other sites are so high to my country, but I suppose its better to get your stuff on time and pay a little extra than to wait so friggin' long for goods that may or may never arrive!

Uum, I have now submitted a "Cancellation and Refund" request to DinoDirect, and got the following response:

I have also reported a "Non Dilivery" issue to my Credit Card Company, who will now initiate recovery of Monies paid. I have heard too many "SCAM" messages about DinoDirect to wait any longer. Although not a huge amount of money involve, it is the principle involved.

Well Yes! Mine was for Emergency use too, I bought an FM/AM/SW Emergency Radios, but I suppose if the stuff ever arrives, I might be prepared for the next Cyclone or Flood.

I think it's a waiting game.
A few days ago, my post office alerted me that there was a package waiting for me. After ordering and paying in NOVEMBER 2010, I get the notification in FEBRUARY 2011. There HAS TO BE something really really wrong, even if they're trying to make the shipping cost as little as possible. I mean, 3 months?
Trinkets are shipped quicker but anything like a handbag will take forever. I can't imagine if the stuff I needed was for an 'emergency'.

Unfortunately I did not check for adverse comments about DinoDirect ( of which there are many) before placing my order on 28/01/2011. I am now in the same boat as everyone else and running down the path of excuses and a string of “Thanks for your Patience” emails, but my order remains in limbo.
I do wonder though, what policing is in place to pull these kind of scam artists into place, or is this the realm of the wild west where dog eats dog? If this is the case, then it will be a pity for the decent traders out there, as they will draw the same dirt.

I feel the same way!
I am so mad and tired right now! It's been two months since I placed my order, payment was processed, and I even received the 'your order has been shipped out' email.
I've wondered what the hell is going on (perhaps whatever was being used as transportation met with some disaster?). I wrote them an email about the waiting (of which they did not respond to), and posted on the discussion forum (hopefully a site administrator will be kind enough to respond to).
I've gone to the post office a gazillion times waiting for that little card that tells me to pick up my package, and the lady at the counter knows what I intend to ask for before I speak.

Bloody hell is all I can say at this point.

DinoDirect Being Scammed

The site is a joke:

OK I wanted 9 of the SATA cables they have listed for sale. Paid for them. Nearly 2 weeks after paying for them, I get an email saying, "Part of your order has been shipped today". I sent them back an email raising these issues:

Why wasn't the order shipped within 24 to 48 hours?

What do you mean - "Part of an order?"

"When are the rest of the cables going to be sent?"

"Why do you advertise them as being available and then take the orders for them, when there are insufficient stock to supply the orders?"

"You say your out of stock, and can't supply my order, then why are you continuing to advertise the cables and continuing to take orders for them?"

Following on from that, "Why are they continuing to offer them in whole sale amounts (like 1000+ etc.), when they can't even supply small orders?"

Well they are NOT telling me when they are going to send the rest of the order. They have offered to "give" me a voucher for $10, which is the value of the remaining products that they have failed to supply. Getting into all these backwards and forwards emails with them, has cost me a heap of time, and the cables are worth 20c each by the 1000, and I have paid ~$5 each retail - and do you think they would toss in an extra 5 to make up for the hassles they have caused - NO chance.

I mean I have customers I have to supply systems with, they took the order for 9 cables, I paid for the order of 9 cables, then because of their sloppy or non existant inventory control - where the amount of orders taken has no connection as to what is actually in their warehouses, their superior service has cost me about 10X as much in lost profit and time, as what it would have ot have bought them from an alternative supplier at 2X the price.

And when questioned about their actions, they then spend the rest of the time ducking questions, avoiding accountability for their actions and being cheap skate 2 bit suppliers.

One of the good indicators for "reliable suppliers" is in their policies.

Here are Dino Direct's product review "guidelines" - and these basically are saying - "If you don't paint us up in glowing terms with lots of ### kissing - we won't post your review on our service".

And they DO make you "keep it quiet and out of the public spotlight" by "insisting" that you put any HONEST reviews (or criticisms) into an email to their customer service dept.

That is not review, that is concealing and covering up what shonky operators they really are.

So here is Dino Directs Review Posting Guidelines

DinoDirect read all reviews before posting them and may reject some reviews if they don't follow the guidelines. Here are some of the things that can cause a review to be rejected:

- Review written in non-English languages
- Offensive or abusive language.

I have also noticed that all most all of the reviews about Dino Direct on other sites - are EITHER about bad products and dodgy service, or they appear to be coming from "company shrills" posting reviews about their own employer, who effuse in the most ### kissy way, how great Dino Direct really are - in hyper bright glowing terms

In Australia under the trade practices act, it's an offence to offer to supply goods and services, without being able to do so. If they were in Australia - they'd be getting served a notice to appear in court.

Your only acting like the good guys AFTER being exposed by so many people - so many times, and your employees are dumb enough to leave FAKE positive feedback, to drown out the legitimate complaints left on this and many other sites...

Your only interested in doing scummy patch up jobs when you can't get out of looking bad, and then it's back to business as usual - bad products, non deliveries, scams with peoples money, no refunds, dragging things out so that customers will go away...

Dinodirect is a SCAM site... Have nothing to do with them.

Oh yeah...

I also have seen a stack of BOGUS positive feedback on a heap of sites.. where Dinodirect employees try to drown every legitimate complaint under a stack of fake lip service positive comments.

Lets not forget that one.

And if Kelly and Co., were so interested in fixing anything, they should have had their act together before they started shipping, and in the 3 or 4 months since I have posted this complaint - not ONE bit of effort has come forth from the with either finding the faults within their own systems, nor have they delivered the cables.

I do not believe a word that they say - because what they say, does not match what they do.

Dinodirect are a shonky outfit.

An update:

So I chased that up by emailing them a message. It took about 2 more weeks before they replied, they asked for a picture and I sent them one, and so it took another month to get another 7 cables sent out... and guess what?

They were the WRONG cables again...

So I sent them another email saying "You sent me the wrong parts" they said send us a picture etc..

I said NO WAY I want a refund... and they came back with the same reply.

After considering that from the outset - they do not match the orders taken with the parts in stock, so they send out a partial order... 7 of the 9 cables.

They promise a 14 day delivery... it took over a month.

I hassle them. they send out the last two cables... which were the right cables.

They 7 of the 9 cables were the wrong cables...

I hassle them and then they send out another 7 cables, and these too were the wrong cables...

AND now they expect me to send another picture because they are too slack and too stupid to trace back through their own ordering system to track the fault...

So they are refusing a refund because the 9 cable 14 day delivery order has taken about 3 or 4 months, and I only have 2 ESATA to SATA cables, and 14 SATA to SATA cables, which I did not want or need - because I had about 5 spares ones in the first place.

Dinodirect is run by imbiceils - congential idiots. These people are so stupid they would not ...

DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING EVER from DINODIRECT. Everything about the site is a scam run by ###s - and they are lazy, slow, stupid, apathetic and really crappy ###s.

I am doing a charge back on my credit card and forcing the idiots in my bank with the fair trading laws to comply with my request.

ordered a Outdoor Flash with a battery pack. They processed the order and marked it as shipped. Saw the tracking number. Bogus. Then after more than a month, product never arrived. I contacted them and they told me DHL wont ship due to Ion Battery capacity after they marked it was shipped. I had to chase them up also as they never told me what happened. So I asked for a refund. 3 to 7 days they said. Then I contacted them today and they said 15 to 20 days.. What the hell.. The timer has started. Please advise me what I can do legaly to get my refund back if they dont feliver.. Thanks guys!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE. I have placed an order on nov 16th, when I saw they didnt shipped my order I requested a refund on Dec 4th, no reply from them. Now I communicated with live chat to ask for a refund and they said they shipped the items on Dec 13th and Jan 3rd... they didnt even sent the order complete. I said i didnt want the items cause i've requested a refund before they sent anything. I dont want those items, that order was supposed to be Christmas gift so I ordered from other site.
FInal answer from Dino DIrect: "Melody 20:54:49
we are sorry for the inconvenience caused by us but we cannot refund the payment to you now"

Ordered and received product. Problem ordered XXL and received no larger than medium. That is where the problem started when you email them do not expect an answer. Phoning is not much better first poor english and you have to speak very slowly and have to repeat over and over. Then they want a picture and I told them I would mail them pictures and would not give me an address. I said I would send the product back to them and she did not know what to do. After that I requested to talk to supervisor and told to call after 11PM our time. So it is over I'am giving a very nice coat to charity. It just isn't worth it. Bottom line do not purchase anything from them unless you want to give it to charity

Im just writing of some experiences which make you go hmmmm with some dealings with DD. I have always got what i have ordered delivered ok, and despite one order being split due to being out of stock, i was notified and the rest came about 10 days later. So truthfully my gripe isnt about delivery or not getting anything...however as i am a retailer, i bought items via the "wholesale "area of their site . The first time something flagged up to me was when i bought 21 of a small item at $3.00 each with FREE post to see how well they sold . They sold well, so i logged back in to my "wholesale account" with the intention of buying 150 of them, but when i bought the item up it was now like $15.20 each wholesale after 2 weeks . This price was also conveniently the same price as the large chain stores selling the same item in my location in Australia .
When i emailed them about this, all i got was a short sharp reply stating that i would have to "negotiate " the price now . Even entering the DD website retail pages without loggin on, would still automatically redirect me to the page where it was $15.20 and needed "negotiation" if i tried to view it.
After giving this a little thought, i got out the laptop and plugged in my mobile internet stick, which is a different ISP to my normal business computor, got on the DD site, did not log in but went str8 to the item in retail, and there it was displayed at $3.00 ea if you bought 21 + of them, so i bought another 50 at $3.00 ea. So, now the bells started ringing, DD had obviously inserted tracking cookies or the like without my knowledge to my computor when i signed up for the wholesale account that was supplying them with all sorts of information of mine and even to the extent of what site pages my log in is directed to on their site and also appears to be able to gather information of the prices of the same items at my own geographical location ..so how much intelligence do they gather i ask?
This brings me to the dropshipping service now, i had a look at it and ill bet by the way it is setup with DD its more intelligence gathering for DD, they will no doubt use the pricing information you inadvertantly gather for them . Once they see what customers will pay for an item in different parts of the world, this will then become their retail price of the item and you will no longer be offered a worthwhile wholesale price and they will simply sell it direct themselves at a price you determined !.
So i cant say ive been directly ripped off, but i do feel ripped off and violated by the apparent covert tracking by DD .
Maybe its all coincidence, and im being paranoid, but too many things just make you go hmmmmm

Hye Im the newest victim here. Would you like to bring this company down? On facebook maybe?..I have a similar case to some of the other customers who didnt get their freaking WEDDING DRESS.
I placed an order one month ago. I requested that the dress sent to my home-country (im studying abroad, going back for my wedding). They kept emailing me to verify my credit card since I had mismatching address. They even called my house and asked my mom to make sure i confirm my payment. I finally did. I even CALLED them to assure that they can make this dress precisely to the measurement i gave. They said no problem, will do our best and all those things you always hear them saying (i repeat, just saying..usually not done). Oh I forgot to mention, it was a chinese lady, never anybody who speaks english well. I think all the english/american names they put on their emails are just tricks so you think they are reliable. They are a chinese company.
They promised to prepare my dress in 15~25days n get it shipped within 1month. When it already exceeded 25days of the maximum promised time for getting my dress done, i became worried so i emailed them. I got really mad when they had the gut to tell me the dress is not even done when it should already hv been dispatched to me. I didnt get any email telling me they couldnt get it done.

They claimed that the dress is in high demand, difficult to prepare bla3 .. ( do you tell that to your customers?)
This morning they asked if I want to cancel my purchase. I dont know if I should. Because they obviously want money and they can do anything possible to fool me.

does anyone here know any legal actions we can take? I dont want to sue them. I dont need their money. I just want justice.. This company is playing us all.. playing all the first timers.. I know a lawyer in the USA graduating for my school here but im afraid this company ( i wont mention their name its too disgusting) is not based in the USA..

Purchased Wireless Cameras Security System CAP001+208T4 on Dec. 11, 2009 and received 2 weeks later from Singapore. Fine...I got my product. Turns out the set of 4 wireless cameras and the receiver were not compatible with my computer. The software that came with the equipment was probably put together by someone who just got a B.S. in Computer Science...

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER DEAL WITH DINODIRECT.COM. they claim to deliver your goods but will never happen and will just give you the run around. i ordered accessories for my iphone more than a month ago and that company hasn't deliver and i doubt if they will. they sound pretty nice on their chat room in their website but you'll just get frustrated coz...
