Dis-Chem Pharmacies review: HR

I was interviewed 3weeks by a lady from Durban for a merchandising post for a new store Beacon bay,she told me if im not contacted after 2weeks i didn't get if i do Hr will call. was called by yesterday 27/09 by Jermaine if I got her name right and when she saw me she asked me which post I applied for, I told her and then she said I can't make merchandising she wants men for that post don't I want to be a cleaner.i was so shocked but I asked for another post and she was adamant at cleaning. It broke my heart to see this kind of treatment in my application I answered yes to being able to hold +- 20kg box and I have done merchandising for years none of that mattered she saw a cleaner..she ended up saying ok I'll see if I find a merchandising job but will also write cleaner will call you later today but she didnt.this is an awful example of unprofessionalisasm which has a bad reflection at Dischem because I could see that the decision of wanting males was hers because the company wouldn't have interviewed me in the 1st place.Yes I'm unemployed and need a job but not to be undermined like that..it really broke my heart
