The service person, Thor, was professional and conscientious. He did a great job fixing our plumbing problem and on the weekend. The cost was reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to others.

This plumbing company is not a discount. We had two on/off valves replaced, one for the kitchen faucet and the other for the dishwasher. It took the guy under 15 minutes replaced and it costed us $625.00. We were robbed.

I called for service at 6pm on a Friday night, had a plumber out by 7, very quick and professional! Also made recommendations as to preventative service my condo association should be doing to prevent backup issues, which I really appreciated, since the issue was not caused by me, and I'd prefer it not happen again. Prices also very reasonable! Highly recommend!

Came out For a service call to snake the kitchen sink. I was never told they could not snake further than 60 feet. Still charged me almost $100 and did not complete the job. Technician was here less than 40 minutes. I could've understood a service call fee which I believe they quoted me at around $45-$50. But instead he charged me for the work that was done instead of a service call

They replaced the sewerage pipes leading to the street. To do that they dug right next to my sidewalk leading to my front house. Once done they did not compact the dirt properly. You can see a pile of dirt to the side, about 3' x 3' x 2' tall. I called them and was told that in their "contract" they are not responsible for damages and will only come back if there is something wrong with the actual plumbing. Do not hire this company. Most people will expect that once a job is done, not only is your problem resolved but it's assumed you don't have to pay anything else extra due to damage caused by the contractor. Since it's in "their contract" they will not fix it. This is as low and shady as anyone can be.

Needed to have the main sewer line cleaned. Called Discount Plumbers., which I found on the Internet. They told me how much it would cost up front. I had called another company before that; they refused to tell me their price. I scheduled an appointment. The technician, Brian, called before coming and arrived when he said he would. He was wearing a face mask and shoe coverings. After going down the basement and asking some questions, he went to his van and brought back the machine used for the cleaning. The job took maybe 45 minutes. No problems were encountered. Afterwards, we talked about doing a visual inspection of the main sewer line, which he recommended for "peace of mind." There was an extra charge of $94 for that, but I decided it was worth it. Overall, my experience with this company was very positive. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. After he left, only minor sweeping was required to clean up some loose dirt on the steps and floor brought in from outdoors. There was no residue from the the cleaning itself, which was a surprise.

My 84 year old Mother called Discount Plumbing to fix a toilet that continued to run and to identify the source of a leak from the upstairs toilet. We told them she did not like to be alone when they arrive so needed to know the time they would arrive so one of her daughters could be there. they arrived 20 minutes early. by the time I got there, the plumber had told her she needed to replace the toilet. Told her it would be $480 and had her sign a document allowing him to complete the work. I told him I thought the only issue was that the float/ball cock valve and flapper seemed to be the problem. he then agreed but said it would still cost $480 to repair it. I declined the service. We then asked if he could diagnose the leak from the upstairs toilet. he said it would be $250 to diagnose it. we thought the service call was supposed to cover that. we decided to go ahead with the diagnosis. He stood downstairs, had us flush the upstairs toilet and then said we needed a new wax ring. $250 for him to stand there and watch the drip. He then proceeded to quote $600 to replace the wax ring. We declined even though he insisted it was a fair price. He gave an example of doing your oil change your self versus having a dealer complete you. Said you always pay more than if you do it yourself. It just make me so angry that he was trying to take advantage of my Mother this way. Today we had Rose Plumbing come to fix the issues. Same diagnosis. Both toilets fixed within one hour. Total cost was $241! I want everyone to know there are better options Discount Plumbing - the name is so far from reality. totally disgusted that this plumber thought this was appropriate in any way.
