Doorfront DIrect is a JOKE! The person delivering my magazines is not placing them by my doorstep as claimed. EVERYTIME I have to hunt for my magazines somewhere in the yard. I certainly don't mind going to my mailbox (have to get the mail anyways) but having to look in my yard (sometimes in the neighbor's yard) is ridiculious. I have had numerous magazines damaged due to rain, etc. This would not happen if they at least put them in the mailbox if the delivery person is too lazy to place them at my doorstep as promised!

I am supposed to be getting doorfront delivery of a number of magazines I ordered from PCH. Whoever is delivering my magazines drops them in the driveway down by the street or right under my mailbox. So much for "not having to walk to your mailbox "! I hope PCH isn't paying extra for this because it's a joke and does exactly what it says it won't do. I'd rather have my magazines delivered in the mailbox where at least the package would be off the ground and dry!

Two of my different subscription magazines have been delivered damp and/or wet. One issue was so damaged I could not dry it to read it; all pages were stuck together & ink was faded. I am disappointed that major magazines would use a service that is so shoddy.

Your name of your company is a joke. It is not door front direct it is more like end of the driveway so they can get all wet. I am so tired of my magazines being thrown yards away from my home. Everyone is complaining about your service! It is the worst! Please go back to delivering magazines in the mailbox, not at the end of someones very long driveway where it is not seen and run over all the time!

I have thrown away soaked magazines for two months. Where is the delivery persons common sense? This should be fixed with a simple phone call! This is too long to have to spend fixing delivery mistakes!

I walk this neighborhood and none of magazines were delivered on door step as you state your delivery on doorstep. Second complaint. Your notice states"convient new way... You don't have to walk to mailbox... Delivered on doorstep!" hahaha what a joke. My mailbox is on side of house. All I have to do is open door. Now the magazine is about 4ft. From street. I have to walk down my driveway. This is not convenient. Please deliver in my mailbox as requested! Second complain't and request.

doorfront delivery
This service seems to be new in San Antonio. I work for the local newspaper delivery service and I feel for the customers but we are paid pennies to deliver each magazine package to your door step between 2:00-6:00am. It's not cost effective for a carrier to get off their car 50-200 times while trying to deliver newspapers. My "extra" income to deliver 72 packages is less than $11.00. Two weeks ago that extra income was $1.20. I consider myself to be one of the best carriers with and most of my newspapers reach the garage doors by tossing them from my car, but to have to stop my car and get off that many times is not reasonable. Many of the homes don't have any outside lights on so it makes it difficult to make it to the porch without having to worry about tripping over something and risk being injured. I have no problem if one of my customers has a disability then I'm more than happy to deliver it on their porch or designated spot. Maybe if the pay were better, you'd get better service.

Your card says DoorFront Direct saves you time since you don't have to walk out to your mailbox...the magazines were dropped off almost to the street very near the mailbox. Certainly not front door service! Please be sure I get the service you are paying for and advertise I am getting.

magazine is not conveniently placed on my doorstep
I use to receive my Bon Appetit magazine in my mailbox...attached next to my front door. Now it is thrown at the end on the long driveway to be run over and sometimes blown into the street. How is this more convenient! Don't even knowhow to change this back...all of a sudden I was put in the more "convenient new way to receive magazines on my doorstep" category. NOT!

Found my G Q magazine at 930pm on my sidewalk.? anyone could have pi cked it up who may have been walking down the street. Whats wrong with dropping it on the front porch, or even in the mailbox which is at the street. This is not acceptable service. I would rather have it delivered by the mailman, at least I know I will receive it on a monthly basis.

Thank you for your kind attention. I discovered my Country Living Magazine in the grass/dirt near the sidewalk, approximately 20ft from my mailbox and 3-4 ft from my driveway. I was mowing the yard when I saw it. Now I'm clear as to why I haven't been receiving my subscription regularly. I live on a main/secondary street, heavily travelled and pedestrian friendly.
It's a fabulous publication, but I seriously doubt I'll renew. Seems sort of risky to continue delivery.

The insert says they save time by not needing to walk mailbox and magazine would be on my "doorstep". Instead the magazine is tossed out onto my sidewalk at the curb. So it cost me time to go out and get it.
The worst part is that if I am not home, it lays there signaling to everyone that no one is home. This is unacceptable.
I will need to cancel the magazine if DoorFrontDirect continues such sloppy service.

I spoke to the HGTV Customer Service and they advised me to file a complaint and change delivery method. Please do so immediately. I'm paying for a product and not able to enjoy. door front delivery
I am seeing tons of same complaints. I emailed co because I came home from vacation to about 20 magazines at bottom of long driveway 6 ft from mailbox, all soaked.. They kept throwing them as they came. I held the mail I held the newspapers. This totally screamed I was out of town. A lady told me via email and a call that she would switch these back to mail. I just found out today that's not possible. I tried to email the company but their server is down. I just found out the tampa bay times newspaper delivery company is doing this. It's obviously cheaper and they don't care about the condition of your magazine. I'll be calling every magazine that comes and canceling every magazine.

This is the worst delivery service ever. My magazines are just thrown anywhere in the driveway. How does this save time when I have to search the driveway instead of getting it delivered to my mail box which is next to my front door? As soon I I hit send on this complaint I am cancelling all magazines the use this service. By reading the complaints listed here many consumers will do the same and cancel.
not getting my allure magazine
Ever since Allure automatically put me on this system, I haven't been receiving issues of Allure magazine on a monthly basis. When I complained to Allure, they gave me the link to DoorfrontDirect. Doorfront Direct has ignored my e-mails and the pain continues. I have been reading Allure since 1994 & my subscription expires in April 2021. When I do get an issue here and there of Allure, it is on my driveway in an unreadable condition. Allure magazine needs to QUIT using DoorfrontDirect if they want to maintain subscribers.
I have had the same issue. Long term subscriber, no problem until this year. Have not received any magazines, called Allure, was told to use doorfrontdirect, and still no magazines. Cancelled the subscription, it is just too much work!
country living magazine
Country Living Magazine switched my delivery method to DoorFront Direct but it's anything but door front. Today I found my magazine wrapped in plastic thrown in the middle of my front yard when the lawn sprinklers were on. Needless to say in spite of the plastic wrap the magazine was soaking wet. Now I realize your delivery person just drives down the block and tosses the magazine out the car window. There is no such thing as "Door Front" delivery. But at the least try to get it close. and for heavens sake don't leave it in the grass when the sprinklers are are. There is no point of subscribing to a magazine that is unreadable.

Just walked out to my driveway to find my magazine littered in the middle of my driveway. It barely sprinkled today and although it's covered in plastic, my magazine is wet. How about we just keep the same mode of delivery we've had for years. It works, and the mailbox is conveniently located 4' from the ground so no bending over, no trashy looking driveway and when you consider the added bonus that the mailbox is waterproof - it's really a no brainer. Please stop with the litter method and go back to good ol' US Mail. Thanks

I cancelled all subscriptions with New Yorker and affiliates CondeNast and Wired last year and have had to send numerous additional requests since then to stop sending me magazines and mail. I finally stopped receiving CondeNast magazine a few months ago, but now suddenly received it again, in plastic at that, with a "Doorfront Direct" flyer in it.
I don't know how much clearer I could be after mailing, e-mailing and calling, but STOP SENDING CONDE NAST AND ALL MAGAZINES!
I will scan and e-mail the bar code sent with this to the CEOs and privacy counsel of both companies this week.
