I got myself a pair of prescription sunglasses from Eyewearcanada about 8 months ago. Gotta say, I was pretty stoked at first. The price was right, they fit like a charm, and those lenses were tough as nails. No scratches in sight! But then, out of the blue, disaster struck. After a measly 7 months of gentle use, the frame decided to throw in the towel. First, one of those rubbery temple arm covers just up and vanished. Poof! Gone forever. (Check out the pic below to see how I jerry-rigged it back together with some shrink fit tubing). And as if that wasn't enough, one of those nose cushion thingies decided to take a hike too.

So, I did what any reasonable person would do and reached out to the company. And you know what they said? "Tough luck, buddy. Our warranty only lasts 30 days." Can you believe it? The nerve! The best they could offer me was a brand-spankin'-new frame for a whopping $75. Yeah, right.

I even took the time to write a review on their website, hoping to warn others about my misfortune. But guess what? They never published it. Surprise, surprise! It seems like they only want to show off the shiny, happy reviews and sweep the negative ones under the rug.

Listen up, folks. Save your hard-earned cash and steer clear of Eyewearcanada.com. Oh, and don't be fooled by their other country-specific websites either. This company is based in the good ol' US of A, but they've got their fingers in other pies too. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Please, please do not buy from this site. I tried ordering basketball glasses for my son in December, but they didn't give me any updates or a tracking number for the package. They said it was because the shipping is slow mail. That's when I should have known this site, eyewearcanada, is not good. They ship from China, but they're based in the US. On top of not getting any updates on my order, I had to constantly ask customer service for an update. When they finally said it arrived, I didn't receive the package. It had been lost.

When I asked for a reorder in January, they tried charging me $40 for shipping, even though it was their mistake. Now it's February, and I've lost $145. My son's basketball season is ending, and the glasses still haven't arrived. I had to keep asking for updates on the remake, and today (February 5th), it said it was delivered. However, it was returned. I live in an apartment, but they never left a slip or anything. When I went to the post office, they couldn't find my package because it didn't have a tracking number. I told them about slow mail, but they didn't do anything. The company refuses to give me a refund.

Overall, this site is just trash. I wasted too much time and effort, and I can honestly say it's a scam. Please avoid them. It's frustrating to lose money that you worked hard to earn.
