DreamWorldTravel Beware of DreamWorldTravel - Scammers Delay and Never Deliver Tickets!

Hello all, I would like to share my terrible experience with DreamWorldTravel. In April 2019, I came across a flight deal on Momondo from London to Manila (Air Asia) for two people at a price of ?1600 from 20/12/2019-07/01/2020, which was being sold by DreamWorldTravel. A few days after the booking confirmation was sent to me, I realized that I had not received any tickets. I decided to call them and was informed that they retrieve tickets by buying them in bulk to receive discounted prices from the airline. However, they said that I would receive the tickets once the number of passengers needed for the discount had been met, and that this would be by the middle of May.

However, by the end of May, I still had not received anything from them, so I called them again. The same story was repeated, and I began to suspect that they were trying to scam me. I therefore checked their reviews on multiple sites such as Trustpilot and TripAdvisor and discovered that many other users had also encountered the same issues as myself, with DreamWorldTravel persistently delaying the delivery of tickets with the same lies. I called the airline to enquire about the status of my reservation, and they informed me that they had made a reservation in my name some weeks ago, but that DreamWorldTravel did not pay for the tickets and therefore the reservation was cancelled.

I called DreamWorldTravel again to ask for my money back, but based on other reviews I had read, I anticipated this to be a difficult task. According to other users, even if you do receive your money back, you will likely never find the same price for flights like the one you initially booked, and in some cases, people lost their connection flights and accommodation bookings due to the delay. I was appalled by their behavior and could not understand how a company like this could continue to operate in London, UK.

I left a feedback on Momondo about DreamWorldTravel to highlight their fraudulent activities, and I am determined to take legal action against them for the inconvenience they have caused. I even have emails from the airline as proof that DreamWorldTravel had not paid for my tickets and call recordings highlighting their lies. I plan to report them to consumer protection agencies, the police, and seek legal advice to prevent them from scamming others.

DreamWorldTravel Avoid DreamWorldTravel (DWT): An Unprofessional and Disrespectful Travel Company

DreamWorldTravel, also known as DWT, is a travel company that operates online. Unfortunately, my experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. The staff at this company are unprofessional, impolite, and disrespectful. They lack basic customer service skills, and their responses to customer inquiries are often incomplete or inappropriate. I strongly advise anyone looking to purchase a travel service to avoid this company.

My issues with DWT began over nine months ago when they suddenly cancelled my flights without any notice. Since then, I have been trying to get a refund for my purchase, with no success. I have sent over 30 emails and made countless phone calls to their support team, only to be met with rude and unhelpful staff. I have never experienced such a lack of respect for customers as I have with DWT. In fact, staff members have hung up the phone on me multiple times.

During one of my recent phone calls with the support team, I asked to speak to a manager. I was informed that they do not have a manager and that the supervisor was the highest-ranking staff. When I persisted, the supervisor eventually came on the phone, but he was just as rude and unhelpful as his subordinates.

Another supervisor, Shahroze Khan, promised to refund the full amount I paid for my ticket without any admin fee, and I have an email confirmation to prove it. However, when I followed up with him, he changed his story and demanded a 15% admin fee. When I objected, he refused to speak with me.

I want to warn others about DWT and hope that they take my review seriously. Leaving a bad review is not something that anyone does for pleasure. In my opinion, DWT is the worst company to deal with, and I would never recommend them to anyone.

DreamWorldTravel Fraud Alert: Avoid DreamWorldTravel.co.uk - My Horrendous Experience

I recently had a horrendous experience with DreamWorldTravel (dreamworldtravel.co.uk) and strongly advise everyone to avoid this fraudulent company. Despite receiving a booking confirmation and an ATOL certificate, I never received my tickets after paying in full. In fact, I was continually given false promises and lies when I repeatedly called their customer service hotline or sent them emails. Their automatic reply stated that they would get back to me within 48-72 hours, but they never did. It was frustrating to wait for hours listening to music when calling them, only to be cut off or lied to.

I booked my flights to Crete on Travelsupermarket, but I was automatically directed to Dreamworld Travel. I paid in full and received an email that my booking was confirmed. However, I learned later that Dreamworld Travel never actually booked my flight, leaving me unable to select seats or pay for luggage. I was told that I would receive my tickets one month before my flight, but I never did. My repeated reminders via email went unanswered.

I received false assurance from Lubna in customer services that my tickets had been booked and that they would be sent to me within 48-72 hours. However, the deadline again expired with no response or tickets. I felt completely cheated and at a loss as to what my travel plans would be since I was supposed to fly on April 8th. As a paying customer, I provided them with accurate reference numbers and full details; there was simply no excuse for their lack of response to my inquiries.

When I contacted Easyjet, they informed me that I was not booked on the flight, even though I had booked several months in advance and provided full passport details to Dreamworld Travel. It's appalling that this company is allowed to operate, given the numerous complaints from customers like me. This kind of fraudulent behavior is completely unacceptable, and I urge everyone to stay away from Dreamworld Travel.

DreamWorldTravel Dream World Travel: Terrible Experience & Unresponsive Customer Service - Avoid Their Services At All Costs!

I recently had a terrible experience with Dream World Travel and would not recommend their services to anyone. I initially booked a flight with TAP through them, however, TAP now allows for changes to be made to the flight with a TAP voucher. Unfortunately, as I booked through Dream World Travel, I could not make this change directly with TAP and had to go through Dream World Travel who were completely unresponsive to emails and calls. I found myself in a state of limbo, uncertain if I would get my ticket converted into a TAP voucher. The process would have been straightforward had I booked my flight directly with the airline, rather than through Dream World Travel.

From there, things only got worse. TAP adapted their cancellation policy due to COVID-19, yet Dream World Travel refused to refund me in full, despite other travel companies such as Eurostar and AirBnB providing full refunds under similar circumstances. Instead, I received a refund of just ?12 on a ticket that cost me ?94, and I have to wait for this to be credited to my account between 4 and 6 weeks. This is unacceptable- it feels like daylight robbery.

Worse still, Dream World Travel has been incredibly unprofessional and unresponsive, failing to reflect the new COVID-19 policies of the airline they were intermediating. In fact, they hindered rather than helped me in the case of cancelling and rebooking due to extenuating circumstances. I am paying a booking fee which would not have been necessary if I booked directly with TAP. There was a lot more hassle with ticket confirmations and chasing them for refunds, so as a travel agent, Dream World Travel has only caused me more problems.

Even though Dream World Travel contacted me yesterday about my previous review, it was not to see how they could help me or make things right- they simply requested I change my review on Trustpilot. They seem to be completely disinterested in improving their customer service or addressing the issues that have cost me time and money.

Overall, I strongly advise others to avoid using Dream World Travel. The many positive reviews are not reflective of the poor service I received, and I worry that they are not genuine. Instead, I would recommend booking directly with an airline or finding a different travel agent who values their customers and provides good service.

DreamWorldTravel Nightmare Experience with DreamWorldTravel: Unreliable, Unresponsive, and Unsympathetic. Avoid at All Costs

I'm sorry to say that my experience with DreamWorldTravel has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite their catchy name, I found their service to be far from dreamy. In fact, I strongly advise anyone considering booking with them to look elsewhere.

My troubles began when I tried to book a flight with Qatar Airways through DreamWorldTravel. As others have reported, I received an untraceable booking reference from DWT and no airline booking code or e-tickets. This made me suspicious of their glowing Trustpilot scores, which now seem clearly fake.

After trying to contact DWT for an annoyingly long time, I was finally told that the airline booking code and e-tickets would be received within 16 days. This seemed highly unusual to me, as I have travelled extensively and never encountered such a delay. When I checked with Qatar Airways directly, they confirmed that my booking had been made but that the e-tickets had not been issued. Qatar advised me to get DWT to issue the tickets so my booking would be valid.

This led to a frustrating back-and-forth between myself and DWT. They eventually sent me a confirmation containing a Qatar booking code and some e-ticket numbers. However, the first e-ticket number they sent was for someone else who was also complaining about similar problems. Not exactly the level of attention to detail you want from a travel agency.

When I checked with Qatar again, they informed me that the e-tickets were still not attached to my booking and that I would not be allowed to fly without them. Two other travel agents had apparently been involved in my booking, but they were foreign and seemed difficult to reach.

At this point, my wife received a devastating cancer diagnosis that made travel impossible. When I contacted DWT to cancel the flights, I received no compassion or sympathy. Instead, I was informed that I would receive no refund now or at any time in the future. This was communicated in two separate e-mails that showed no concern for my situation.

In short, I would strongly discourage anyone from booking with DreamWorldTravel. They have proven themselves to be unreliable, unresponsive, and unsympathetic to customers in difficult situations. Please do yourself a favor and find another travel agency that cares about your experience.

DreamWorldTravel Horrible Experience with DreamWorldTravel: Booking Cancelled Without Notice and Still No Refund After Months

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service provided by DreamWorldTravel. On January 16, 2017, I booked flights for my wife and myself to travel from Manchester to Fort Myers via Atlanta with Virgin/Delta Airlines. I received a booking confirmation and invoice on the same day and I paid in full. However, I did not receive e-tickets for the flight.

On June 28, 2017, when I attempted to book our seats on the flight, I discovered that the reference number provided by DreamWorldTravel was not recognized by Virgin. When I checked Delta Airlines website, I found that we were only booked on the flight from Manchester to Atlanta and not on our connecting flight nor our return flights. In an email to DreamWorldTravel, I expressed my concerns but did not receive a reply. The following day, I spoke to Jim who informed me that there had been a flight change and that I needed to clarify this with Virgin. He supplied me with a new reference number and e-tickets but with incorrect details.

Using the new reference number provided by DreamWorldTravel, I checked the Virgin website and discovered that the Manchester to Atlanta flight had been changed to a day later. When I contacted Virgin, I was informed that our original booking had been cancelled on April 1st and that DreamWorldTravel were informed on the same day, whereas I was not informed until three months later.

The next day, I contacted DreamWorldTravel again and spoke to Henry who told me that I would receive a full refund in 6-8 weeks, if at all. I requested cancellation of the booking due to the significant changes but never received an email confirmation of the same. Despite repeated emails and phone calls to DreamWorldTravel, the booking has not been cancelled and I have not received any refund.

Under current legislation, I am entitled to cancel my booking and receive a full refund in the event of significant changes, such as a change in departure date. However, my contract with DreamWorldTravel has been frustrated and my statutory rights have been broken. I have forwarded an email from Virgin confirming this.

My booking was a complete mess with wrong dates, wrong reference numbers, and a complete lack of meaningful communication or assistance from your staff.

I hope for an acceptable and early resolution but should this not happen, I am prepared to take the matter further including legal action. I also intend to notify the Trading Standards Department as I believe that the trading practices of DreamWorldTravel require investigation.

Finally, it is shocking to receive an email from DreamWorldTravel today offering to send my refund if I delete my complaint on review sites.

I urge DreamWorldTravel to take immediate action to rectify the situation and refund my payment.

DreamWorldTravel Nightmare Experience with DreamWorldTravel: Poor Communication, False Promises and No Refund

My experience with DreamWorldTravel has been an absolute nightmare. I booked a return flight from London to Helsinki in February for April, but due to Covid-19, the flights were canceled. As recommended by the airline, Finn Air, we filed a refund request. We were told that the refund had been processed, and to check the status after six weeks. However, after waiting almost eight weeks, we were advised that they were still waiting on the airline's refund and to check back in a few weeks. This process went on for months with no clear communication about what was going on.

Eventually, my boyfriend was able to get through to their phone line, and they promised that the refund would be processed by the following month. However, we later found out that Finn Air had refunded them several weeks earlier, and we had not been informed. DreamWorldTravel then offered us a travel voucher instead of a refund, which was contrary to the advice we had been given previously. When we responded that we would prefer a refund, they informed us that it would take even longer to receive and that's why they were offering the voucher.

After much back and forth, it became clear that DreamWorldTravel was not being transparent with us. They were using copy-and-paste responses and providing conflicting information. They claimed that a third party supplier, The Holiday Team, was charging an additional fee, but we had never heard of them and there was no record of them on any communication or booking information. The customer service was incredibly poor, with different people giving completely different responses, and there was no coherence or internal communication.

DreamWorldTravel even went back on their word to waive their admin fee and instead offered only to waive half of it. It felt like they were covering their lies when they misspoke, and it was clear that they were not fighting for our money, as they claimed in their scripted email. My experience with this company was a complete joke, and I would never recommend booking with them. Don't believe their fake reviews, and especially don't book with them during Covid times.

DreamWorldTravel Nightmare Experience with Dreamworld Travel: A Warning for Future Travelers

My experience with Dreamworld Travel was an absolute nightmare, and unfortunately, it seems to be a common occurrence. I booked a flight to Florida in August 2020 through them after finding them on Kayak as the cheapest option, with a savings of ?800 compared to Virgin Airways. Little did I know that this would be the start of my desperate struggle to get my flights sorted.

After booking my premium seats for my family, I awaited my confirmation and e-ticket number email, which never came. I called Virgin directly to reserve our seats, and all seemed fine for the time being. Two weeks later, I attempted to book a hire car and needed our flight number, only to find that our seats had been canceled and reserved by someone else. I contacted Virgin who informed me that Dreamworld Travel had canceled our tickets just 14 days after purchase, leaving us with no way to claim our seats.

Trying to contact Dreamworld Travel was a nightmare in itself. Calls either got cut off, phone lines seemed not to exist, phone queues put you back ten places just as you got to the front, emails and WhatsApps went unanswered, and leaving a negative review was the only way to receive a response. We eventually managed to speak to someone who told us we were in an e-ticketing queue, and we would receive our number up to two weeks before flying. We managed to get the e-ticket number, but Dreamworld had split our family into two separate bookings, meaning we were sitting separately on the flight, despite booking premium seats. They had even messed around so long that all the good seats had already been taken.

To make things worse, COVID-19 hit, and our flight was canceled in June 2020. Dreamworld Travel never contacted us to advise us of the cancellation, and when we tried to contact them to arrange a refund, it was impossible to do so. We tried phone calls, emails and WhatsApps and got no response. Many others were in the same boat, due refunds that were not forthcoming. I contacted my credit card company and provided them with the details, and they were finally able to get me a temporary refund, which Dreamworld Travel did not challenge.

Throughout this entire process, I discovered that Dreamworld Travel leaves their own reviews to boost their scores, which is dishonest and unethical. It is essential to read legitimate reviews before using any company, and I will only use major companies from now on. This experience has been a complete nightmare, and I would not recommend Dreamworld Travel to anyone.

DreamWorldTravel Disappointing and Unreliable Service from Dream World Travel - A Review

My experience with Dream World Travel was one of extreme disappointment and frustration. While the initial emails and phone calls were answered in a timely manner and the staff were polite, the agency ultimately failed to deliver on their promises and left me in a stressful and difficult situation.

Despite booking my flight to Australia in May and making a full pre-payment, I had not received my e-tickets even as my departure date loomed closer. When I called in June to inquire, I was told that I would receive my tickets 10 days before my flight due to a "very special deal". This was concerning, as other travel agents I had worked with always issued tickets immediately.

In early July, I contacted Dream World Travel again, but was given conflicting information by different agents about when I could expect my tickets. They were unwilling to give me any concrete answers and instead instructed me to send emails, which were answered but without any additional information or help. Despite my repeated efforts and requests, I had nothing in my hand even after paying approximately ?1700.

This extended waiting period of nearly 4 MONTHS meant that I was unable to make any adjustments to my trip and was at risk of not being able to fly at all. The agents I spoke with were unhelpful and repeatedly directed me to their terms and conditions. It was clear that Dream World Travel was only interested in making money through their admin fees and refund charges.

As a travel industry professional who has been affected by COVID-19, I understand the challenges that businesses are facing. However, this kind of approach towards clients is unacceptable and has no place in our industry. I would never recommend Dream World Travel to anyone, and I am willing to provide additional information to support my review.

DreamWorldTravel Nightmarish experience with DreamWorldTravel - avoid this travel company!

When searching for the cheapest flights to Canada, I came across DreamWorldTravel on their website, dreamworldtravel.co.uk. However, my experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare. The booking process was a disaster from start to finish. Promised to receive my tickets at the beginning of May, I was left in a state of panic when I did not receive them and couldn't get a response from DreamWorldTravel. Eventually, I contacted the airline Air Transat directly, who informed me that my booking had been made but then cancelled. This news threw me into a frenzy and I tried getting a hold of DreamWorldTravel again, only to be told that no problems existed, and I would receive the tickets by the end of May.

Fast forward to the beginning of June, with my flight scheduled for the 28th of that month, and no tickets in hand yet. I had to contact DreamWorldTravel to inquire about my tickets, and I was informed that I would get them by mid-June, which ended up not being the case. I was only able to receive them 2 days before my flight. As if that weren't bad enough, I discovered that one name on the booking was incorrect, and when I brought this to their attention, they initially insisted that it was my fault and that I must pay a further ?100. Only after showing evidence of when I first pointed out the mistake in April did they change their tune but still refused to fix the error.

This situation made my pre-holiday experience extremely stressful and worrying for both me and my daughter. It took multiple conversations with DreamWorldTravel and copies of all communications to finally sort everything out. In hindsight, I should have taken the time to read the reviews before paying the monies, but I trusted this supposedly reputable company to do their job. However, I found the service to be consistently poor and Andy very rude and unhelpful throughout the whole ordeal. I would urge anyone looking for travel companies to avoid DreamWorldTravel like the plague.

DreamWorldTravel Warning: Avoid DreamWorldTravel.co.uk - Poor service, no refunds, likely to go bankrupt

I would strongly advise against using DreamWorldTravel (dreamworldtravel.co.uk) as they have provided me with one of the worst services I have ever experienced. In my opinion, they show no concern for their customers and are likely to go bankrupt due to their poor business practices. This is evident in the fact that hundreds of customers are still waiting for refunds, even after waiting for 14 weeks since 26th September. All the emails they send are automated and it is clear that they have no intention of paying customers back. As such, I have had to resort to seeking legal advice and going through the bank to dispute the refund.

The 5-star reviews on their website appear to be fake and lacking in any kind of detail or authenticity. If you take a closer look at the reviews you will notice that there is a clear pattern in the way they are written, suggesting that they are not genuine. In addition, those who leave 5-star reviews often only have a single review, which further supports my suspicion that these are fake accounts.

This company has caused me and many others great inconvenience and distress, and I urge you to avoid them at all costs. If you do want to book a holiday, there are many reputable companies out there to choose from, so there is no need to risk using DreamWorldTravel. I would give them zero stars if I could.

If you are in a similar situation, there is a Facebook group called Dream World Travel Action Group that can offer support and advice. I believe that it is important to speak out about this company and their unscrupulous practices in order to protect other consumers from falling victim to their scams.

DreamWorldTravel DreamWorldTravel Review: Poor Communication and Frustration for Customers

DreamWorldTravel seems to be having issues with communication, and this has been a major source of frustration for many customers. While it's understandable that everyone has been hit hard by the pandemic, the lack of response from the company has made matters worse. Unfortunately, customers have had to resort to airing their grievances publicly in order to get a response.

One customer had issues getting their flight refunded and had to endure a long, frustrating process to get a travel voucher. They sent at least 25+ emails and made numerous calls to the company's office, only to receive canned responses and see their calls dropped after waiting for long periods. It's clear that the company has struggled to keep up with the volume of requests they've received.

While some employees did try to help, it took until September for the company to finally get back to the customer and offer them a travel voucher. They agreed to this offer, but they are still waiting for details on how to claim it. It's unclear when they will receive their voucher, as the email mentioned it would take 14 working days but it's been months now.

This experience has understandably affected the customer's trust in using travel agencies, especially since their friend who was on the exact same flight received a travel voucher directly from the airline in a matter of days after the flight was cancelled. It's clear that DreamWorldTravel needs to improve their communication and responsiveness to customers in order to maintain their reputation.

DreamWorldTravel Nightmarish Experience with DreamWorldTravel: A Review of Their Horrible Customer Service

My experience with DreamWorldTravel was nothing less than a nightmare. Unfortunately, my family has been going through a difficult time with this travel agency ever since March when my mother requested a refund. However, we have only received the runaround from DreamWorldTravel since then. They have repeatedly put us in circles with no support, constantly telling us to wait just a few more weeks, and then lying about needing refunds from Emirates before we could receive our own refund.

In desperation, I contacted Emirates myself on July 9th, 2020, discovering that our tickets were not eligible for a refund and could be rebooked for free. However, since the ticket was booked through DreamWorldTravel, Emirates could not provide assistance. I had to contact DreamWorldTravel again for rebooking for free, but they refused assistance, insisting that we wait even longer. When I suggested changing the date instead, a customer service representative named Jasmine mentioned that there was a form to fill out that would allow date changes. I was shocked since we had been waiting for months without being told this prior.

Feeling angry, I filled out the form, knowing that DreamWorldTravel would probably try and con us out of more money. In the end, I filed a case through Emirates, and within five minutes, our ticket was sorted out for free. However, just yesterday, DreamWorldTravel sent an email requesting payment of ?139 for date changes, even when Emirates had stated that changes were free. I realized that DreamWorldTravel was attempting to take advantage of us once again.

I hope that DreamWorldTravel will ultimately face repercussions for the psychological and emotional distress they have caused to myself and other customers. Instead of providing assistance, they have created a terrible experience and left us feeling hopeless.

DreamWorldTravel Deceptive and Unhelpful: My Nightmare Experience with DreamWorldTravel.co.uk

My experience with DreamWorldTravel (dreamworldtravel.co.uk) has unfortunately been a nightmare. I had initially booked a return ticket for my upcoming travel dates through them on 29th September 2021, and received an invoice for the same via email.

However, when I attempted to check-in for my flight with Turkish Airlines, I was unable to do so. Upon calling DWT's customer service team on their provided numbers, I was dismayed to find that their phone lines were unresponsive and simply redirected me to an automated answering machine stating that the number was switched off.

Frustrated and concerned, I reached out to Turkish Airlines' customer service, only to find out that the ticket booking was never actually completed by DWT. They advised me to urgently contact my travel agency to resolve the issue.

When I finally managed to get in touch with DWT, I was informed that the flight I had booked had been cancelled by Turkish Airlines. I was perplexed as to why I was never informed of this beforehand, and also why my eTicket was not issued in the first place.

To make matters worse, DWT's proposed alternative flight options were not feasible for me, as I had already pre-booked public transport and accommodations. Despite my requests for an official confirmation from Turkish Airlines regarding the cancellation, DWT ignored my appeals and failed to provide me with any evidence.

Their response has been nothing short of deceptive and unhelpful, leaving me in a state of distress as I now have no means of travelling, and no idea when I will receive a refund to re-book with a different airline. It is particularly concerning to note that DWT is registered with ATOL, given the fraudulent nature of their practices.

In retrospect, I wish I had read reviews before booking with DWT, and I strongly advise against using their services for travel bookings.

DreamWorldTravel Terrible Booking Experience with DreamWorldTravel: Delayed Confirmation, Invasive Requests, and No Refund

I recently had a very unfortunate experience with DreamWorldTravel, and I regret to say that it was one of the worst booking experiences I have ever encountered. The booking was made at the last minute as my girlfriend was in Malaysia, and we needed to secure a ticket to Europe due to the coronavirus closing borders. The booking process seemed very straightforward, and I went ahead and paid for the ticket on their website for a total of ?662. However, things started to go downhill from there.

Unlike other agents or airlines, the confirmation of the booking and the tickets took much longer than expected, and I started to feel uneasy as the flight departure was close. I attempted to contact DreamWorldTravel in every possible way, but unfortunately, I couldn't get through to them. They did have a WhatsApp contact number that claimed to offer quick support, but I received no response for eight whole days, which is quite disappointing.

Moreover, when I eventually received a response from DreamWorldTravel, they requested a photo of my girlfriend's debit card, held in her hands with the number clearly visible, and also her passport held in her hands before they issued the ticket. I have never had an agent require this kind of information, and it was a rather off-putting and invasive request. My girlfriend did provide the necessary information, and I promptly sent them across to DWT. However, I still had to chase them to confirm they received the information, which they claimed was too late to issue the ticket. They promised a full refund, but I have now been waiting for eight days, and there's still no sign of a refund.

Overall, I was disappointed with DreamWorldTravel as they took my money immediately but didn't deliver on their promises. They have terrible customer service, and I've had no luck in getting through to them. It's very frustrating, and as of now, they haven't even issued a refund, which is unacceptable. My girlfriend is now stranded in Malaysia, and there's no telling how long she'll be there or the expenses she'll incur. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone and would strongly advise avoiding them.

DreamWorldTravel DreamWorldTravel's Terrible Customer Service: My Experience Booking Business Class Flights from Amsterdam to Mexico City

I recently booked two business class tickets to fly from Amsterdam to Mexico City with KLM in November through DreamWorldTravel. Upon booking, I quickly received an email with my reservation and invoice. However, I was informed that I would have to wait 24hrs to receive confirmation. When 3 days passed with no confirmation, I decided to contact the customer service line to verify the situation. To my dismay, whenever I reached the front of the queue, the agent would hang up on me.

Finally, after multiple attempts, I was able to speak to someone who promised to send me the confirmation within 30 minutes. Unfortunately, this did not happen. The countries are open for travel, so COVID-19 was not the issue. I have attempted to contact them through their number, but during weekends, even though they are supposed to be open, the queue is always number 2, and I am sent to voicemail.

It took them 2 days to respond to my message on WhatsApp, and it was just a generic response explaining that due to an increase in calls because of COVID-19, it would take them longer to respond than usual. As of today, I have only received an email confirming my booking but without an airline reference. On my first email, I was promised confirmation within 24hrs of payment clearance, which the credit card was charged for.

I feel uneasy not having any reassurance my flights are booked, and I cannot reach them within 72hrs as required. I don't trust this agency to give me guidance or help in case of an emergency. If it weren't for the fact that the price of the tickets may increase, I would consider booking elsewhere. I would have appreciated a phone call from an agent to confirm my booking, but this has not happened.

In conclusion, my experience with DreamWorldTravel has been one of terrible customer service. I hope they can address these issues and provide better service to their customers in the future.

DreamWorldTravel Nightmare Experience with DreamWorldTravel: Delayed Refund and False Promises

I purchased a flight ticket through DreamWorldTravel's website on May 30th, 2019. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, my flight was cancelled. As advised, I filed a refund claim through their portal with reference NZM4R9 on April 2nd, 2020. However, it's been over 5 months since I submitted the claim and I have yet to receive a refund. Despite multiple emails and requests to various people at DreamWorldTravel I have been repeatedly told that my refund request is a priority, but nothing has been done.

It's disheartening to continuously receive the same email template from DreamWorldTravel advising me to keep waiting due to the current situation. I feel like hope is fading fast and I really need someone to help me resolve this issue. Is there anyone out there who can provide me with some guidance on what to do next?

As of today, August 4th, I still have not received any information on my refund. It's been over 5 months since my initial request and I've been chasing them tirelessly. At this point, I don't know what to do and I'm not sure who to report this issue to.

DreamWorldTravel's response to my inquiries have been disappointing. On July 9th, they informed me that they had not received my refund from the supplier yet. But it's been over a month since then and I still have not received my refund. This delay is frustrating, especially since I cannot plan another trip until I'm refunded for this cancelled flight.

To make matters worse, I recently discovered that I've been fooled by DreamWorldTravel. They promised me that my refund claim was being processed and would take only 8-12 weeks to complete. However, when I contacted Malaysia Airlines directly, they informed me that my ticket is on an "Open Ticket" and that no refund was ever requested by DreamWorld Travel on my behalf. I feel like I've been misled and my trust has been betrayed.

It's cruel to think that I've been fed with false information and given false hope on my refund. To add insult to injury, no one has even offered to re-book the ticket for me. I hope that someone can provide me with some guidance on how to resolve this issue, as I feel like I've hit a dead end with DreamWorldTravel.

I am writing this review to update my previous experience with DreamWorldTravel, a travel company that I now strongly advise others to avoid at all costs. Nearly 9 months have passed since I purchased two tickets through this unethical and non-legitimate company, and I am yet to receive my refund.

To give a brief overview of my experience, I purchased two tickets in November 2019 for travel in February and March 2020. Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic, my flights were cancelled, and I was left with no choice but to apply for a refund in April 2020. Since then, I have been constantly chasing DreamWorldTravel for my refund, only to receive vague responses and excuses.

With each call or email, I was put on hold for an hour, only to be met with illiterate customer service representatives who were unable to provide me with answers to my questions. As a result, I continued to send numerous emails to the company, requesting updates on my refund status. Even after waiting almost a year, I have no concrete timeline for when my refund will be processed.

What is even more frustrating is that when I contacted the airline, who informed me that they had already sent the money to DreamWorldTravel in June 2020, DreamWorldTravel denied ever receiving it. They even provided me with a false refund application number, leaving me even more confused and frustrated.

The point here is, please do not buy from this dishonest company. They will take your money and never give it back, leaving you endlessly fighting for your rightful refund. Instead, I strongly advise purchasing tickets directly from the airline, saving you the headache and heartache of dealing with companies like DreamWorldTravel.

DreamWorldTravel Dream World Travel: Unethical and Unlawful Handling of Pandemic Refunds

I have had a disappointing experience with DreamWorldTravel.co.uk. I booked flights with them that were later cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I have now been waiting 15 weeks for a refund, since my cancelled flights on 13 March. I recently received information from Dream World Travel stating that they are unable to refund my flights due to a third party vendor, Holiday Team, withholding funds and wanting a £95 fee. However, after contacting the airline directly, I found out that Gulf Air had actually refunded Dream World Travel directly in March.

This has left me feeling misled and concerned that Dream World Travel intends not to issue a refund at all. I lodged a formal complaint several weeks ago and have even emailed CEO Mr. Muhammad Omer Alvi, but have not yet received a response. Meanwhile, friends who booked through other agents or directly with the airline have already received their refunds.

As a customer, I have the right to receive a full refund, without administration or other charges, in a timely manner. The Competitions and Markets Authority confirms that this is UK law. Furthermore, customers like myself should be informed when refunds will be issued. It's been a challenging situation for all, but Dream World Travel should make good on their contractual commitments without delay.

Dream World Travel has stated that this situation is unprecedented, but as a customer, I paid in good faith and expected ethical and lawful practices. The company should seek recompense from its suppliers and insurers in its own time and with additional staff if necessary.

If you have also been treated unfairly by a business, you can report it to the CMA and Trading Standards. Additionally, you can make use of Chargeback on both debit and credit cards, although this process can be lengthy. It's also possible to contact Dream World Travel's senior managers and directors directly to make a complaint. Ultimately, the small claims court can also be a viable option.

I hope that Dream World Travel will take responsibility for its actions and make things right for its customers.
