Drive Appeal Drive Appeal sold me a worthless warranty on a 20k junk car

Drive Appeal sold me a worthless warranty on a 20k junk car. They didn't help me as a buyer at all. This place should be shut down.

Drive Appeal I bought a 2010 used car from Drive Appeal in Anoka

I bought a 2010 used car from Drive Appeal in Anoka. The sales person was super friendly and told me all the awesome stuff about the car. But guess what? Just one week later, the check engine light decided to pop up. So, I took it to a service shop and they told me that the head gasket was leaking like crazy, the transmission was toast, and the brake was all stuck! Can you believe it? Now I'm just sitting here, waiting to see what's gonna go down. Seriously, folks, don't even think about buying a car from this dealer.

Drive Appeal Never buy a car from Drive Appeal, man

Never buy a car from Drive Appeal, man. I dropped ten grand in cash for my ride, and after only seven months, the timing chain just straight-up fell off. I reached out to both Bloomington and the other spots, but their mechanics have been giving me the runaround. They're saying it'll cost me four grand to fix 'cause I need a whole new engine. Now me and my three-year-old kid are back on the bus, freezing our butts off in negative ten-degree weather. These car dealerships should be sued for selling busted rides, man. They don't even bother fixing 'em up before slapping 'em on the lot.

Drive Appeal I got me a second vehicle from them, and I noticed that the gps ain't working and the front end be shakin'

I got me a second vehicle from them, and I noticed that the gps ain't working and the front end be shakin'. One of them salesmen told me that all it needed was a nav disc and some new brakes. But when they looked into it more, they found out it ain't the nav disc. They had the vehicle for 3 days and gave it back to me with the same shake in the front end. They promised to fix both problems, but now they say they ain't gonna fix the gps. The vehicle was advertised as havin' gps, and when I signed the papers, they said they'd take care of it all. But now they say "it's an old vehicle". I even sent someone their way who bought a vehicle, and you'd think they'd appreciate my loyalty and keep their word.

Drive Appeal My 19 year old son needed a car, so he found one he liked on Drive Appeal's website in Bloomington

My 19 year old son needed a car, so he found one he liked on Drive Appeal's website in Bloomington. I couldn't take the day off work, so I sent him there with the understanding that I would co-sign on a loan since he had no credit history. He test drove the car and they checked his credit, but they said he needed a co-signer. I filled out the application online and once it got approved, they told him the car had already been sold. They showed him another car that was similar but more expensive, and he agreed to buy it. Normally, I finance cars through dealerships because local banks usually can't beat their rates, so I thought the interest rate would be competitive. However, Drive Appeal gave us a rate that was 2.25% higher than the rates published by most local banks, even though my credit score is well over 800. I know we should have done our research and not rushed into it - I used to work in F&I at a dealership. Just make sure to explore your options before using their services and be careful of the bait and switch. I regret sending my son there alone.

Drive Appeal I was lookin for a preowned vehicle and came across some from Drive Appeal, locations in New Hope, Anoka, etc

I was lookin for a preowned vehicle and came across some from Drive Appeal, locations in New Hope, Anoka, etc. However, there are errors in their car descriptions. For example, they list the car's mileage at 81000 miles but the Carfax shows over 300000 miles. When I pointed that out to them, they told me the actual mileage is over 300000. I asked them why the huge error. The manager told me they bought the car at an auction under the impression it had low miles. Well, that doesn't excuse them for perpetuating the error. They should be listing the mileage of what the car has, not what it was thought to have. I assume they are leaving their posting with the wrong mileage, making suspecting car shoppers think the car has a lot less mileage than it actually does. This helps the dealer drive traffic, get better price ratings on their advertisements on other sites (cars.com, cargurus.com). I have also looked at other listings they have and many of them mention Carfax One Owner cars. If you look at the Carfax, though, they are not one owners. Now, I know car listings can be wrong, but when you point it out to the dealership they should correct it. This dealership refuses to do that. I advise caution to other car shoppers, because when a dealership does this, you wonder what else they do that is not ethical.

Drive Appeal I gave them some money upfront and gave them my car title

I gave them some money upfront and gave them my car title. They were supposed to send some loan papers to my co-signer in Arizona. They claimed they sent it through UPS to a PO box, but when I called UPS, they said that's not possible. They also said they tried to contact my co-signer for their actual address, but that was a lie too. It's now Wednesday and the last email I got from them was on Friday. I've emailed them twice now asking for my money back and for them to destroy the title so it's no longer valid, but I haven't heard anything about what's going on. After being lied to, I'm not interested in buying a car from this place anymore.

Drive Appeal I bought my car from Drive Appeal and I've been trying to get them to fix the issue with the temperature control and the actuators

I bought my car from Drive Appeal and I've been trying to get them to fix the issue with the temperature control and the actuators. But all I keep getting are excuses. It was still within the 30-day warranty, but they want to rely on my extended warranty instead. I really want to use the lemon law for this car. It's not safe to drive. They shouldn't be keeping my car for weeks without any solution. I even took it to the dealer and paid $200, which they said they would reimburse me for. I have everything recorded and I'm ready to take them to court if necessary. I've been really patient with them, but they haven't called me to explain why. I won't be patient for much longer.

Drive Appeal I bought a QX60 on 12/1 and the second day I had it, the check engine light came on

I bought a QX60 on 12/1 and the second day I had it, the check engine light came on. I went back to the dealership and they scanned it, telling me it was an O2 sensor and that it probably wouldn't come back on. Later that same day, it came back on and the car started stalling and jumping under acceleration. I took the car back to their service shop and they had it for a week, claiming they fixed the problem and recalibrated the O2 sensor (which isn't a thing). After driving home, the light came back on and the car was still stalling. I took it to a real Infinity dealership and they said the code indicated an issue with the catalytic converter, which is expensive to fix. The other dealership just cleared the code because they knew it was costly to fix and didn't want to address the problem (they knew about it and instead of fixing it, they just sold it). The car also has an additional $3k in recommended repairs. I paid to have them fix the major ones, but the fact that they knew the catalytic converter was faulty and tried to hide it is not right. They should reimburse me for the cost of having it fixed.

Drive Appeal I bought a car from Drive Appeal and noticed a few problems that needed fixing

I bought a car from Drive Appeal and noticed a few problems that needed fixing. I was told to go to their service department and let them know, as everything is covered under their warranty. I took it there and informed them that the window cleaner wasn't spraying, the heater wasn't working, and there was a ticking sound on start-up. They said they would look into it. When I got the car back, the windshield spray was working fine, the heater was blowing heat, and the ticking seemed to have stopped. Everything seemed great until a hot day when the air conditioning didn't work and the ticking sound returned. I informed the mechanic about the heating issue and the ticking sound, but he said, "let's only fix one thing at a time." So, they took it in again and claimed it was working. This back-and-forth went on for two months, and I had to bring it in six more times to fix the problem. I even paid $200 for the dealership to diagnose it, but I never received any reimbursement. When I took it back, there was a new mechanic who knew nothing about my car. There was no paperwork or anything, but luckily, I had a witness and a video recording on my phone to document it. Finally, the new mechanic figured out that it was the controller causing the heating issue. The ticking sound wasn't too bad, but on a cold day, I discovered that my exhaust header bolts were broken. Unfortunately, my warranty doesn't cover broken bolts, so now I want Drive Appeal to fix it. I have told them that I'm willing to take this to court, but honestly, all I want is for it to be fixed. I won't be going to Drive Appeal in New Hope. Instead, I'll go to *** since I work down there.
