And to make matters worse, I was promised a partial reimbursement for the delay, but it never came through. I tried reaching out to their employees, Matt and Brian, but they straight up ignored my emails and then blocked me. I mean, come on, that's just not cool.

I really wanted to resolve this issue, so I tried reaching out to the owner, but I haven't had any luck yet. It's frustrating because I trusted them to get my money back to me, but instead they're being super belligerent and retaliating against me. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.

Got my hands on a 14 X 10 Blue Acrylic see through shell from Drum Factory Direct (drumfactorydirect.com) and let me tell you, it was a sight to behold! The delivery came in yesterday and I was ecstatic to see the beauty of the drum. DFD was able to help me retrofit a Premier High Tension Pipe Band Snare Drum with the blue acrylic shell. It was a bit of a challenge to get the internal snare mechanism to fit perfectly due to the mechanical design of this drum, but with some tinkering, it came out perfect! I was so impressed with the outcome that I decided to send photos to the company brag board.

The pitch and sound of the drum is even greater than before and has even more projection than with the original wood shell. I was blown away by the quality of the sound and the craftsmanship of the drum. The team at DFD really knows their stuff and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I'm a drum builder, and I gotta say, Drum Factory Direct is the place to go for all your drumming needs. I stumbled upon their website when I was just starting out, and I've been a loyal customer ever since. They've got a huge selection of brands, quality levels, and variety that's just awesome. And their website is pretty easy to use, except for those dropdown menus that can be a bit annoying sometimes. But hey, nobody's perfect, right?

One thing I really appreciate about dfd is their hardware options. When I'm discussing custom builds with buyers, I always refer them to the dfd site to select their own hardware package. It's just so much easier that way. But here's an idea for dfd: why not provide a few basic "all-inclusive" packages for outfitting a snare drum? You know, like heads, hoops, t-rods, lugs, wires, throw and butt plate. It would make ordering a LOT quicker! Just a thought.
