Dun Rite remodeled our two old bathrooms and we are so happy with their work!
Dun Rite remodeled our two old bathrooms and we are so happy with their work! The bathrooms look great. All the staff are very professional and do a wonderful job. We appreciated the team approach with quality products and installation, daily check-ins on the work plan, keeping our house protected, and hauling all demolition items away promptly. They did all of this in the three-week time frame as promised. Any phone contacts were answered quickly. Shout outs to our designer, project manager, and our awesome installer. Great job Dun Rite!
I was so happy with this company
I was so happy with this company. I had received two recommendations from other customers about the superior work this company would provide. I don't know why I put off doing a bathroom remodel so long. The whole crew with Dunrite was awesome. They promised to do the work in 10 business days. The project was started and completed on time and just as they promised. I highly recommend the installer Yasin and all his support personnel. Dunrite does it right ! If I had another project I wanted done, I definitely would call this company!
I had a total kitchen remodel. Workmanship is extremely well-done and beautiful. ***, plumber and tile personnel were efficient and professional. The only problem I had was from the project manager in the office. There was no communication from him unless I initiated it. I would have liked to hear from him to coordinate the timing of the various aspects of the remodel as well as just to check in and see how everything was going. When I needed some follow-up on a few items after the project had been completed, I had to keep contacting him to have my issues kept in the loop. All concerns were eventually addressed. I do recommend Dun-Rite and plan to use their services again.
I was so happy with my kitchen remodeling project and would highly recommend DunRite. They started on the day they have scheduled 5 months previously and did complete the project 1 day early. Especially impressed with the cabinet ***. He did an excellent job considering how our walls were very straight.
If I could leave a negative star review I would. We went under contract with Dun Rite on 10/30. Our project was scheduled to begin 4/4/2022 and I was quoted a completion of about 2.5-3 weeks. We paid our 50% down payment on 10/30 and our next step would be receiving digital images of our project. We chose to go with Dun Rite 1) because we hear their ads on KOA (reputable) and 2) we live in a remote area of teller county and were concerned about finding a contractor willing to work up here. We were assured this would not be impactful on our project. Fast forward to 4/4/22. I get a call late in the morning (after I had to reach out to see if we were still beginning today) informing me that the demo guys truck was stolen over the weekend and he would not be up to begin our demo. Following day, he doesn't arrive again. Our demo finally began on 4/6/22. The demo kid shared that DunRite has put him up in a hotel through the week. Next day, he arrives on time but shares that he spent the whole night in jail for an unpaid parking ticket in El Paso County (which is not even the county I reside in). He demos more and then goes to his truck for a long period of time, comes back and indicates he will not be on my job any longer and they'll be sending another guy up next week. Following week, another kid is sent up to finish demo, frame a wall and begin cabinet installation. A plumber installing our water line for the fridge reeked of booze. Things continued to get more and more flighty. The largest issue since the infancy of the project was ample communication and project management. Overall, I was always instigating conversations to the *** as to who was coming and when, simply to organize my day with work meetings, crating 3 dogs, etc. When you are paying close to $50K for a kitchen renovation, I feel it is not out of line to expect to have to not manage the project manager. Today is 5/11/2022 and we still have a non functioning kitchen.
Dun-Rite did a bathroom remodel for us a couple years ago so I asked them to come back and quote remodelling the main bathroom plus a first floor powder room. I had a couple other companies lined up to give us quotes but I called and cancelled them because Dun-Rite had exactly what we wanted and I knew the quality would be excellent. We had a 6 month wait from providing 50% down to the start of the project, which is a hard pill to swallow but it is what it is right now. In any event, work started on time and went off without any major issues. We had a bit of a delay with shower door delivery but it was a matter of about *** days and it was delivered and installed. We couldn't be happier with the work. Everything looks beautiful and I was especially impressed with the way *** left the worksite every day. All debris was removed and cleaned up nicely.
We had our master bath done, new all glass shower and a closet addition
We had our master bath done, new all glass shower and a closet addition. Of course they are busy so it takes awhile to get the job started but that only speaks to how good they are to be so busy. Once they got started it took about twice as long to finish than the salesman told us but the work is beautiful. Dan did an excellent job on everything he did and was very professional and thoughtful of our home, we couldn't be happier. It is now on the "Nickle Tour" of our home and I have even posted pictures on Facebook and bragged about their workmanship.
This is second time I used Dunrite. I thought they did a great job the first time so I had them come back to do another job. I knew they would come and get the job done. I didn't want to have a bunch of people trying to give me suggestions so I just went with them. I know there are a lot of fly by night companies you see on the news. I feel the quality of work meets my expectations. I really liked all the people that work for dunrite they are very thorough at pleasing the customer. I did refer them to my mom. They saw the quality of work. *** did a great job and finished before it was expected.
This is the 3rd project we had completed by Dun-Rite. They did an excellent job in replacing our old tub with a walk-in shower. I would highly recommend Dun-Rite for any project in your house
I chose Dun-Rite to resurface all my cabinets, best decision I ever made! *** was assigned to my project, and he was absolutely amazing! He was very professional, focused and pleasant. I could tell he took extreme pride in his work, and even decided one door wasn't quite right and ordered a replacement. They are beautiful! I will happily recommend Dun-Rite (and ***) to friends and family.
Paid for my windows in March but they were only able to come out Memorial weekend. I canceled my vacation and two days before Memorial weekend I got a call that they could not come out till Wednesday after Memorial Day which ruin my Memorial weekend. I agreed to a window that open right to left and was given a window that open both left or right and became hard to lock. Installer was in a rush and left my driveway with debris.
The name says it all
The name says it all. DUN-RITE - DONE RIGHT. Unlike many companies, their warranty has meaning. On initial investigation of a problem with our countertop, we and their representative agreed that it probably was not a warranty issue. We proceeded with arranging for repairs knowing that we would be spending more money. Once the repairs began, the Dun-Rite repairman discovered an issue with the initial installation. We would never have known this on our own. Dun-Rite corrected the problem immediately and honored the warranty. What an honest company! Refreshing in this day and age. Jean H
We are very happy with our new kitchen. *** who did our refactoring Did excellent (perfect job). We have had 3 people coming to our house; estimated, measure and installation, all three were on time, very sufficient and well organized. My kitchen looks like model house kitchen. I will highly recommend Dun-Rite *** to any body in the family or friends. Great job!
Our remodel went very smoothly. One of our friends used a big box home improvement stores service for his remodel and has had nothing but problems. Several weeks in and he still has a half functioning kitchen. We told him he should have called Dun Rite and it would already be complete and beautiful. Thanks again for providing quality service at a reasonable price.
We had wonderful experience with Dun-Rite. They took our kitchen from absolutely unusable to the most amazing looking kitchen it could have been. It was a small space and they were willing to work with us to make it as functional as possible. I would highly recommend Dun-Rite to anyone looking to redo a kitchen or bathroom.
Our shower was installed by knowledgeable professional tradesman. Each man was committed to accuracy and final appearance.

I was completely impressed at the quality of the workmanship of the carpenter, tiler, and floor
I was completely impressed at the quality of the workmanship of the carpenter, tiler, and floor. Each was a perfectionist and the work was exceptional. There were some communication issues throughout but there were many who went the extra mile to rectify those issues as they arose. I think that the real proof of a company's worth is how they respond to the "opportunities for improvement." The kitchen remodel is beautiful and the timing with the remodel has been perfect for me. I spend a lot of time in this space and it has become my "happy place." Yes, I will definitely recommend them and will call if/when I have further work to be done.
I am very happy with every aspect of my kitchen remodel
I am very happy with every aspect of my kitchen remodel. From Justin (sales), to Andy (measured/mapped), to Josh, (project manager), Rick (installer/expert woodworker, carpenter), Brandon (final touchup/clean up) and the drywall crew who were subbed out - everyone was fantastic. On the front desk, Kaytie was very helpful as well. My kitchen, though small is amazing, lovely, interesting and exactly what I wanted. They listened to me, confirmed what I wanted, talked with me through different design ideas and worked with a couple changes easily and efficiently. I highly recommend using Dun-Rite Home Improvements for any home remodel. Thanks for asking.

My home is over forty years old and the bathroom, being original, needed serious work
My home is over forty years old and the bathroom, being original, needed serious work. Having heard two generations of Dun-Rite owner's commercial's on the radio and the fact that haven been providing home improvements for decades in the Denver area, my wife and I chose them to do the replacement work. Even though our bathroom is small they agreed to do then work. We expected their work to be well done but it turned out to be much better than we had hoped for. The quality of work, the attitude of the employees that did the demolition and installation, and then follow up calls making sure that we were happy with the work make my wife and I future customers of Dun-Rite Home Improvements. We would leave a six star review if it were possible!

We have had 3 projects completed by Dun-Rite
We have had 3 projects completed by Dun-Rite. Kitchen cabinets refaced, new laminate floor in kitchen/dining room and a bathroom remodel. On two of the projects there were minor problems. We talked to them about our concerns and both times it was resolved in our favor with no additional cost to us. All three projects were done on or before the promised date and they were all done at the cost quoted. I can honestly say that Dun-Rite is one of only two companies we have worked with that dealt with us with integrity and did, from start to finish, give us what we paid for. After some expensive nightmares from other companies this was really refreshing. I don't think their pricing is out of line for the work that has been done. I normally don't give 5 star ratings, only 4 stars, because I expect to get what I pay for. This rating is given because there were issues and they resolved them without delay.
I should have written a letter of appreciation soon after each experience
I should have written a letter of appreciation soon after each experience. Only since I have had a horrible experience with a different company was I motivated to contact you. And then I get this inquiry! You did an amazing job, cleaned up well when completed, communicated excellently, used fantastic materials, did the work quickly, had extremely skilled workers, rec'd the right materials (just as ordered) when the job started, stood behind the guarantee when one teeny problem arose after completion, and the workers were all polite, clean, prompt, and did what was expected. The exact opposite happened with every single thing I mentioned with the siding company we just used. That project is still not completed and was started mid December! The only thing I have not liked is the sink in my kitchen. It is extremely hard to clean. Had I known, I would have gone with stainless steel. Great job, Dunrite! On the kitchen and bathroom shower.
Dunrite did an incredible job on our bathroom remodel!
Dunrite did an incredible job on our bathroom remodel! 100% recommend them for work and will use them again when we finish our basement. We remodeled 2 bathrooms at the same time. We had to book ~4 months out for their next availability (long lead times are the norm with supply chain issues etc. and they set expectations clearly and professionally). They had to delay the start date 1 week due to one of the contractors quitting, but again communicated clearly and made sure we had an experienced crew along with a new hire. They estimated the main work would take ~6 weeks for the bathrooms, plus an additional 6-8 weeks for the shower doors to be delivered. This was all communicated from the start and other than a couple days delay here and there, they met that timeline for the main work. Unfortunately, one of the contractors did not confirm what type of metal we ordered for one of the shower doors, and when it was delivered 8 weeks later we had to re-order with the correct black. We did not get charged for this mistake, and we could use the shower while we waited another ~3 weeks for the new metal. There were some weird inspection concerns with our smoke alarms (totally separate from the work they did), but the Dunrite team handled the communication and installatoin of the correct alarms and the multiple check-backs to satisfy the inspectors. Inspectors are outside Dunrite's team so I do not blame them for that back and forth; I applaud the Dunrite team for their patience and for helping to complete such a side task with no additional charge. On a personal note, I'm a 33 year old woman with 2 small children, and always felt safe and comfortable with these men. One bathroom was attached to our bedroom, and I told a friend "I never felt weird having them 20 feet away from my underwear drawer unsupervised! They were such gentlemen!" So grateful we found this team!

Dun-Rite Home Improvements Complaints 1
I signed a contract to have Dun-Rite Home Improvements to replace our existing shower on June 30 for $13,198 and I paid a 50% deposit on
I signed a contract to have Dun-Rite Home Improvements to replace our existing shower on June 30 for $13,198 and I paid a 50% deposit on that date. We were told the shower work takes one week and the glass installation takes place the following week because they take exact measurements once the shower is set. 75 days later they started the shower installation (excluding the glass) from Sept. 14-18, I paid $3,300 on Sept. 14. So, before any work was started, I already paid $9,899. On Sept. 18, I paid another $2,299. However, no one was at my home to take the measurements for the glass. Dun Rite (Dun-Rite Home Improvements) said no one would be out to measure until the next Tuesday, Sept.22, a 4-day gap from when the shower was set. I said I wanted a 5% discount, eventually they would only do 3.79% (a $160 difference in what I was asking for). Fast forward to October 9, the glass installation was happening but the contractor had a pane of glass shatter. He said it would be 3-5 business days for a new one. I did not hear from Dun Rite so I called on Oct. 13 and I was told by Dun-Rite Home Improvements it would be another 10 days. My wife called and spoke to Dun-Rite Home Improvements and we got October 16. After letting it set for 48 hours, we were 34 days without a shower, 3 weeks longer than expected. On October 19, Dun-Rite Home Improvements called as a follow up and asked if we were satisfied and if there was anything more they could do. I said the water is pooling up on one side of the shower floor and 10 hours after taking a shower the floor is still wet. Well, after 3 days he has not responded with a solution.

Dunrite did an incredible job on our bathroom remodel! 100% recommend them for work and will use them again when we finish our basement. We remodeled 2 bathrooms at the same time. Excellent workmanship; quality products. Kitchen looks awesome. Refaced cabinets instead of completely relacing them
We are very pleased with the outcome of our new kitchen and bathrooms. The workmanship on the job was very good. One very positive thing about the workers that helped us was very consistent communication on when they would be up to the house, days and times. This was much appreciated. The timeline took a lot longer than we anticipated.
Best contractor I have had do work for me! They are coming back to do the 2nd bath and downstairs windows and I expect those jobs to also be perfect.
