Edible Arrangements review: Rude employees and covering up for each other

I placed an order for my daughter-in-law's birthday Sunday afternoon (November 10, 2024) for Monday (November 11, 2024) delivery because I wanted something special for her and thought Edible Arrangements would be perfect. I called the store on 7th Street in Phoenix, Monday morning at 10am to get an approximate delivery time so I can ensure someone would be home to accept it. The women who I spoke with said she didn't know because the driver wasn't in yet. When I asked when they would arrive to work so I can find out she said she didn't know, however, she said in about 3 hours it should be delivered. When I didn't receive a delivery confirmation at 2:30 (now 4 1/2 hours later) I decided to call to check the status of the delivery and was told it would be another 2 hours or so because they started delivering south of the valley and my daughter-in-law was north. When I mentioned that I called at 10am and was told it would be around 1pm she told me, very rudely, that I spoke with her earlier and she told me 3-4 hours. When I mentioned it will be 6 hours now, she started yelling at me that she can cancel my order and my daughter-in-law would get nothing. When a customer calls in the morning you would think they would at least "try" to help, instead they go the opposite direction to start the deliveries? I asked to speak to a manager and she said I would get her again. We went back and forth a few times until she put me on hold. Another women who said her name was Tonya (not sure if she gave me her correct name) said she was the manager and proceeded to continue yelling at me and now tells me that the Veterans Day parade was on their street earlier and that it why they are behind with deliveries. I told her I called at 10am to ensure someone would be home to accept the delivery since it was perishable. She said, "you don't have to tell me, I know its perishable because I made it". When I asked for the name of the manager to speak to she said that I don't need that information and again asked if I wanted to cancel the order. I said all I want is the name of your owner or manager to speak to and again she refused and put me on hold for about 10 minutes. When she returned she asked again if I wanted to cancel the order. I said I just want the name of your manager. She said Natasha is the manager and said she can't give me the last name because it's confidential information and I don't need it. I'm sure Natasha isn't a real name either. I have never experienced such poor customer service before and treated so poorly after spending $150 for what was to be a special gift.
