If Could give negative stars I would
If Could give negative stars I would. Salesman promised the whole project would be completed in 60 days. Contract signed in Feb, 2021. 11 months later new roof was installed in June but has not yet passed inspection by the county because the paperwork has not been completed correctly (over 10 failed inspections so far) Impact windows installed, but not what we were sold or specified in contract, also failed inspection and still not approved. Installers left our house a mess: saw dust nails, materials, trash, cigarette butts everywhere. Installed windows with visible mold growing on them, never cleaned them. Damaged our siding and never repaired. We cancelled the rest of the project, Solar and insulation. Every time complain, the response is the person that promised, talked with us, etc.. no longer works there.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I hired them and the list of things that went wrong is a VERY LONG ONE. Here are just a few... They put my panels in the shade, and after this they wanted me to pay to have the tree cut down. At one point in time I was without power for about 12 hours because of an error of theirs. My roof leaked thanks to their installation which cost me more money to fix the drywall that was damaged. They system has gone down about 4 times in 3 years, so if I don't watch it closely, I am getting ZERO productions. When I called to get the latest problem taken care of, Natasha did nothing but call me names, talk down to me, cut me off, and tell me that I am wrong. This was the biggest waste of $30,000 in my life. Right now, I pay about $1500 More a year than i did before I hired them. DO NOT HIRE THEM.
EHS installed my solar panels and it has to be one of the WORST INSTALL JOB IN SOLAR HISTORY. On top of the panels not being installed correctly, we recently discovered a leak in our roof. The leak was caused by the solar panel installation. Now I need a new roof and to do that the solar panels have to be removed, stored and reinstalled. We chose a different company to remove and then reinstall our solar panels... I don't want anyone from EHS anywhere near my house again.
I purchased a solar panel system and water heater from Efficient Home Services and in the first 8 months a panel went bad and it took over a month to fix and the panel they replaced only works half the amount as the original panel...EHS said it would fix itself but it's been over 6 months now and has not fixed itself yet and now the water heater had had an error for a month with a generator out and heat area out...I've called several times with no one calling back...just beware
Up and running! Best company in town! Thank you Ehs!
Great company to choose if you are switching to Solar. I decided to go with EHS and it was the best decision. They are very professional and the customer service is incredible.
I have had my solar panels up on my house since March we are now in October and they have only been "working" since July
I have had my solar panels up on my house since March we are now in October and they have only been "working" since July. I've been paying DOUBLE bills 155 for my loan and 180 for my electric bill that I was told would disappear after the panels turned on and started working I have yet to see any change in my electric bill. I was also promise a reimbursement check for the past two month of payment since my panels weren't working properly and it's been over a month since they "sent" the check out and have yet to be told what is going on with it. Every time I call they give me the run around and I never get a straight answer. They don't even answer emails. This company is an absolute joke. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I want my money and they need to figure their *** out since in quote "I'm stuck with the solar panels and they are not able to take them back"
Very pleased with the job done by Efficient Home Services. Highly recommended!
Thanks to EHS and it crew I'm completely off grid with my new solar panels and battery. Incredible job!
Definitely the best price by far in Florida. After receiving multiple estimates from different companies, EHS gave me the best price. Easy installation process and very friendly staff.
My roof is about 17 years old, so when discussing Solar Panel purchase/install with EHS's sales representative Cole M., I pointed out my dilemma of replacing my roof first? Or moving ahead with the panels and deal with the roof later. I asked what their removal, storage and re-installment policy was and without hesitation he replied it wouldn't be an issue because EHS would provide this service free of charge. It was a huge factor for me to know this to make the right decision at this time. So, since there would be no charge, there would be no reason to re-roof before the install right?
The install went as expected, then one week after the Panels were up I received a letter from my insurance agent that my Home Owners Insurance Company was forced out of business in 3 weeks. Now forced to find new homeowners insurance with a 17-year-old roof was next to impossible. The panel install was completed and operational when I informed EHS of replacing my roof and was told that the sales representative was part of a contracted sales group since dropped because they were passing along misinformation. Their official policy is a $250 per panel fee for this service. Thanks Not EHS scammers! My agreement with EHS does not address/account for this situation.
I would leave one star, but Ryan the sales rep, and Joe the manager have been outstanding, highly professional and attentive
I would leave one star, but Ryan the sales rep, and Joe the manager have been outstanding, highly professional and attentive. However, the Company Operations Officer who is the one that is supposed to get the whole process started, hasn't called me back and it's been over 2 weeks since I signed the contract. I left a message with his office for him to call me ASAP, just to be blown off. I work for a general contractor and deal with his customers on a regular basis and never has the owner or I ever done this to customers. If I knew it was going take this long to get things in order for the permit to be submitted, which itself could take weeks to get back, I would have never signed this contract with EHS. If the COO called me back to update me on what is going to being done, as he was supposed to, I would not have had to write this review. I will update this review as the process continues.
What a fantastic job this company did for me. I couldn't be happier that I chose EHS to go Solar.
Excelente servicio al cliente. Me encantó la importancia que le dan a sus clientes, como comprador es exactamente lo que se busca en una compañía. Se los recomiendo!
Awesome service at a great price! Very happy with this company.
I truly recommend this company. Great communication between the staff and their costumers.
I'm doing my second review with this company and I will reconsider this review the current from my previous as the personnel from EHS solved all
I'm doing my second review with this company and I will reconsider this review the current from my previous as the personnel from EHS solved all the issues I had with this experience. I had bad experience from beginning to end but the staff explain what was going on and has apologized deeply of everything that I was going through and have been replacing employees that they weren't doing their job right. They also reimburse me all the electric bills and also sent me a check for the bad experience I went through as an apology and they want to do better to make sure that the customers are satisfied with their product and experience of their services and they also fix all the damages that the installers had done to my home. People make mistake but as long they keep the communication and always making sure the customers are taken care off the company will be a successful bussiness. Right now my solar panels are operational and I'm happy that everything is completed. Just waiting to see the results and the product of the outcome of being a solar customer.

On October 15 Andrew D
On October 15 Andrew D. can to my house to talk to me about solar energy. He was
very friendly and knowledgeable about the system and answered all of mine and my daughters questions. I signed the contract that night. The Site Survey was done and the permit submitted
and approved. The installation crew started the installation on November 25 and finished the next
day. They were very knowledgeable and professional about how they installed the solar panels and all the electrical connections. I also had to have my electrical panel upgraded and the electrician stayed late
that night to make sure the panel was replaced and all circuit working were working before he left.
They also installed a new water heater, the person can out removed and installed the water heater
Within a couple of hours. He was also knowledgeable and professional about the install.
All of these guys where just great. Chrissy H. turned my system on February 20 after TECO changed my meter out. She also showed me how to use the app. Just waiting to get my first TECO bill.
Very happy with everything.
Contract for roof replacement, insulation and solar, 41 panels, on November 4
Contract for roof replacement, insulation and solar, 41 panels, on November 4. Today is [protected] and project still is not up and running. Have had two leaks, that we know of. They fixed leaks. Ruined ceiling in lani; decorative with wood rafter and studs showing. Their response? Well, it doesn't matter, you are going to put insulation in there anyway. Paint and wood chips failing from ceiling, and wood is cracked. One solar panel is sitting crooked, everyone who comes out takes pictures, but no one does anything. Natasha, the Office Manager, who doesn't want you to talk to anyone over her because she says she is the Project Manager as well, is ready to hang up on you when she is done with her spill. Says she has no boss. No one else is ever in! Saturday they sent out a technician who saw the breaker throwout fire, our Genac needs replaced, hasn't happened, ready to go to an attorney. Now they have offered money, which Natasha did not know the amount, great Project Manager. We are not going to accept amount. DO NOT spend your dollars with this company

I got 2 ac units installed by this company a little over a yr ago and have had issues with one of the units since it was installed. They had to change the unit and have had to come out several times to fix the 2nd unit that was installed and according to the tech it was leaking freon, a brand new unit? About 3 weeks ago it started acting up again, so they send someone out and now I need new duct work to the tune of $2800 but they would give me a discount and I have to pay $2500 to get something done that should have been done when they installed the new unit. They hired a subcontractor to come in and tell us what was needed, not once did they say new duct work, which we would have done had it been said at that time. I trusted this company to do a thorough job, since I'm not an ac tech. Now they want me to pay that extra money even though I'm still paying for the $19k that was charged. While everyone is cool in their home, my family and myself have to deal with our house being an oven and figure out how to get this fixed, during a pandemic where everyone is having a hard time financially. I would not recommend this company.

Please stay away of EHS, MY roof is wavy and leaking, my chimney is not fix
Please stay away of EHS, MY roof is wavy and leaking, my chimney is not fix. Just after signing paper work its been a chaos. Seller "Mike" was good and very friendly, it must be good to catch you. After signing paper work they don't answer phones no more and not knowing status of my project I have to be in contact with my city to be on the loop. Finally when I spoke with someone, the lady said she is in charge now because the other lady didn't knew what she was doing "RED FLAG" but I already contracted them :( Finally after several months my roof permit got approved, they installed it pretty quick but one of the days before roof was done it rains a lot and we hear that is still leaking. I contact them and was told to send pictures, what I did and never got an answer, and that they will be here on a Friday, then on a Monday and finally they came Tuesday (No notice of change of dates). A person came and said that he will call with a date of repair, next day a received a call saying that they did what was supposed and they are not doing no repairs. MY ROOF looks AWFUL! NO one wants to be responsible. DO NOT use EHS please AVOID them and there team MIKE, Steve, Huber, Ryan, Anthony, and few lady's that answer phones. They just pass responsibility from one to another and never return calls or emails. If I was able to give 0 stars I would.
Very disappointed with this company and if I could list negative start I would
Very disappointed with this company and if I could list negative start I would. I previously left good reviews as they really push you to do so. They bait and switch. They tell you that if after 13 months of bills they will review the system and make changes to make sure you are getting the most benefit from your system. I was also told that if there were things that were needed (extra panels) that they would take care of it. I did ask how much more that would cost me and was told that because I paid $33,000 for my system that I would not be charged if extra panels were required They tell you that the system they recommend for you will make your energy bills next to nothing and the loan payment for the system will be less than your electric bills in the past. My bills prior to solar were between $240 and $270 in the summer. My loan payment was $161 and my electric bills for the 13 months after installation was around $170, so with my loan payment and electric bill was actually more than my typical bill before solar. I was told that my panels were working at 100% and their solution was to install 2 more panels, at an additional $600 wholesale cost and recommended 1 more panel not at wholesale cost. I have 28 panels on an 1176 sqft house, had insulation blown into the attic and had a new energy efficient water heater installed. After talking to other homeowners with larger houses I should have no electric bills except for the customer service charge of $10 monthly.
*** The worst experience of I ever had with any contractor EHS came out to my home to start installing solar panels on my home
The worst experience of I ever had with any contractor
EHS came out to my home to start installing solar panels on my home on 08/23, On 08/26, an electrician out to install a secondary circuit breaker panel. On 09/24 someone came out to run wire for power to supply battery system. Put down all cover from eaves overhang to installed power wiring for battery system. Didn't reinstall cover for eaves overhang. All cover for eaves overhang in damage and cannot reinstall the same cover for eaves overhang. Because that person that pulled down cover for eaves overhang didn't know what he was doing or how to remove the eaves overhang from eaves in a professional manner, therefore the eaves overhang must be reinstalled by a professional.
On 10/01 Hernando County inspectors came out to inspected solar system, the solar system didn't pass inspection do to under eaves overhang, wires being exposed outdoor element and other failures. On 10/08 a electrician came out to correct failed of electric fault of inspector for Hernando County. As of the data no one came out to reinstall cover for eaves overhang so solar system can be reinspect by Hernando County.
The electrician putting the meter from meter panel without calling Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative therefore Withlacoochee River Electric is charging me a fine of $100.00 for putting the meter for my home.
I'm afraid that some animal will come into my edit from and make it their home, because all of my eave's overhang is opening and expose.
Contracted for roof replacement (went well) and installation of Solar system (76 panels)
Contracted for roof replacement (went well) and installation of Solar system (76 panels). Work was completed in January. Pinellas County came out to inspect work and noted that the disconnect box that was used (Square D) was the incorrect component and that the disconnect also needed to be moved to the right because it did not meet the 3 ft clearance rule from another device in front. In this case was an air conditioner compressor. Marc (supervisor from EHS) was present during that inspection. He is TOTALLY INCOMPETENT! Not only does he not do any research to confirm this issue, it takes him another week to call me to say he's sending the same crew out and arranges for another inspection. However, the issue of this disconnect box has not been addressed. The system fails for a SECOND time, because the box has neither been exchanged for the proper one and it hasn't been moved. Finally, they locate the correct disconnect box (Eaton) and arrange for the replacement. I come to find out that the crew who did the instillation are not electricians. The technician who arrived today is an electrician and he immediately knew that the Square D disconnect is the incorrect component. Furthermore, he never received a "Fail List" so he didn't know that the new box needed to be moved to meet the 3 ft clearance regulation for which the system had also failed the 2 previous inspections. I've attempted to contact Marc's supervisor, Natasha, on multiple occasions and she has seen fit not to return any of my phone calls, There are serious and significant deficits in leadership and quality assurance in this company. DO NOT use them.
I am extremely disappointed with the way I was persuaded to purchase my solar from EHS
I am extremely disappointed with the way I was persuaded to purchase my solar from EHS. I was guaranteed by the salesperson, Amer, that I would have a HUGE government kickback of over $13,000 to submit to my finance company to lower my monthly bill. However, Amer IS NOT an accountant and does not know about how this tax break works, but he sure is willing to sell you this product as if he does know all about it. Also, I had an "Engineer" come out and tell me that my roof was in satisfactory condition to accept the solar installation. This is another lie, as after speaking with someone at EHS, I was told they did not have certified roofers contracted at the time of my installation. Again, the person who came to my house inspected my roof and told me he was an engineer and that he confirmed my roof was in good enough shape to have solar installed. Another lie from EHS. I have spent over $50,000 to have my solar installed by EHS and it has all been lies. I have had three contracted roofers come to my home and tell my that the solar should have never been installed prior to a my roof being replaced. Then the nasty lady at EHS kept arguing with me about my installation and that they will pay for taking the solar off ONE TIME and replacing it in case I need to replace my roof. Great, but didn't know I would have to replace it within a year of installation. They are bullies tyring to get you to sign up for their solar. Again, their contractor came out to my house and assured me my roof was in good enough shape to accept solar. LIES upon LIES is all I have gotten from EHS. BUYERS BEWARE OF THEIR LIES. Solar can be purchased at a fraction of the cost of what EHS will charge you. They also misrepresent themselves in many areas and feel that by their lies I was convinced to purchase from them. They have NEVER bothered to even follow up with me after installation of a $50,000 project. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYBODY! Terrible customer service and satisfaction. LIES, LIES, LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES. BEWARE check other reputable solar companies before ever giving your money to EHS. Also, If there was a star rating for a negative number, I would selected that but I had to select a star unfortunately. But my personal rating would be negative 10 stars
I was sold a package deal, windows, roof, and solar
I was sold a package deal, windows, roof, and solar. I was excited about getting these upgrades done all for the prices of my current electric bill from switching to the solar system. I was sold by my couple of conversations with the sales guy. We first started with the roof then the solar. EHS agreed to sheet the entire roof and give me the new roof then the solar. We had to sheet the entire roof due to it being an only metal truss roof. I showed the sales guy the roof trusses before we signed the contract. We got on the phone with his roof "specialist" which ensured me it wouldn't be a problem. When my material was delivered, they only sent 3 sheets of plywood, which wasn't enough to sheet the entire roof so I got on the phone with the EHS and was told there was another truck coming. Another truck never showed up, here I was on the phone again wondering what is going on. I sent a picture to this "specialist" of my metal trusses, he quickly got off the phone and told me he would call me back. A couple of days go by and I get a call, we can't sheet your roof, it will cost extra $ to get that done. I didn't want to pay anything extra since I was told it was x amount of dollars. We came to conclusion to cancel the solar and roof and they would be by to pick up the materials they had staged in my driveway. Weeks went by looking at this material. I called every week wondering when they were coming to collect there material. I got the same response, distributor this, distributor that. Finally when It became a open storage issue with the city, they came to collect months later. We continued our contract with the windows. Due to covid there was some delays with the process of getting them manufactured. Trying to find out what was going on with the delivery of the windows every week I came in contact with the windows project manager. Their project manager worked with me closely giving me the updates I was finally looking for. Once EHS finally got my shipment of windows, she had me installed the next day. The install crew was awesome! They worked continuously through the day. They answered any questions I may had right there. In conclusion, as nice as the sales guy was, his lack of experience disappointed me. The office staff to their project manager are awesome. Customer service - A+ Sales - F Install - A+

Unsatisfactory installation, service, refusal to honor warranty or future service and possible correction to provide 90% of estimated electrical gener It took 7 months to complete the installation of my solar system with delays caused by vendor inaction. Vendor refuses to accept any responsibility Several installation faults found after system activation due to "sloppy workmanship" Joe D., the COO ... quite rude, condescending, untruthful ... This finding is consistent with views expressed by others in prior complaints to the Complaintsboard.com. D. insistent on verbal communication only ... no emails Internet monitoring connection with vendor supplied equipment supplier does not work well ... there is a need for a cellular modem which D. has refused to supply. When able to on-line monitor system performance discovered some issues with array output. Over several weeks vendor insisted system was working fine. Eventually sent technician to site ... found an array was not working. Technician required to use own vehicle to make site visit. No insurance coverage by vendor. System designed by vendor to provide 90% of my electrical usage needs. Billing to date indicates only around 50 to 60% ... requested investigation refused. D. refused to provide me with any further warranty service and told me to go to the equipment supplier Enphase for support. Refused to provide me with contact information for Enphase. 1) It has been months since I should have received two referral checks, $500 each. I've called several times requesting information on when to expect them and am told each time they try to transfer me to the person responsible, that they aren't answering their phone and hopefully they will hear back by the end of the day. Still no checks or date to expect them. First time I was asked if I received either of the checks was 11/4. 2) We purchased extra solar panels knowing we were installing a pool with a heater; it wasn't until after the purchase of the panels that they reached out and then were denied the ability to install 3 panels. We decided we'd hold onto them and get them installed after the pool, annoying, but no big deal. Finally our bills are showing and we can get approval for interconnection, every time I asked I was told, let us just come put them on without going through Lauren's. I said no, repeatedly. They've gone through Lauren's and it's approved and finally on our roof. However, the complaint is the process. My signature was forged (Eli claims he had power of attorney), install was cancelled and rescheduled because they didn't have the supplies... the supplies never left my garage. When they came to install, the workers came with a totally different plan that was approved to install them on a different part of my roof so it shows us having 3 more panels than we actually have, instead of clipping them in where they were previously installed.

I purchased a solar electric system for $76,263. Contract was signed on 2/2, and the system was installed in April . The salesperson provided a sizing to ensure a 100% offset of our electric bill, based on 18 months of previous electric bills that I provided. This was documented in the handwritten quote of which I have a copy. The documentation also states they offer a 30 year performance warranty, and a 12 month energy assurance guarantee. Over the past year, I have received over $1000 in excess energy charges. I contacted the vendor months ago and continued to push until I was finally connected with Jami D., who completed a review of the system. She has stated that the yearly proposed production is 32,000 KWH, but that my system is only producing 27,000 - 28,000 KWH. She has however refused to honor the guarantees stating that I do not have a production guarantee form on file. There is no reference to a production guarantee form in any materials, and this was never discussed by the sales rep. I have asked for this to be escalated, and she has not given me the contact information for the COO, Natasha ?
Signed on with EHS in May to add solar panels on our home to help reduce our electric power consumption. We financed this project for $70,000. We are almost a year into this project without a fully functional solar system. We started paying the solar bill in August, after EHS fraudulently reported that the system was completed, and have now been paying a solar bill and full electric bill for almost 9months. We've been through 3 project managers and have placed several complaints about the system not being fully operational with no resolution. Now, the company COO, Natasha, will not return our phone calls or emails. We were promised a service and quality that this company refuses to provide.
I have never had a worse experience in my life with any purchase. The salesman was great and why I took the bait. Learn to find out a few months after I signed a contract he left because he said this company was horrible. I signed a contract on June . Never started instal till Feb 2021. Then it took them 6 trips out weeks, sometimes months apart to get the system up. Then, they had to make another 6-7 trips to actually get the solar working. It work for maybe 2 months properly and then Monday I lost everything. All solar, all power to what was connected to generac power cell and yet they cant even call me back. Absolutely the worst company I have dealt with in my 40 year life
Company was planned to install AC and solar panel project to lower the cost of the utility bills
Company was planned to install AC and solar panel project to lower the cost of the utility bills. Damage was done during install to the property, promised to be fixed.Hole left in ceiling in garage on install. AC installed was incorrect model as advertised, significantly lower seer rating and bills have had 300% increase since install. Company advertised Rheem 18 seer a/c unit with 2 UV lights and google nest. They installed a grandair 14 seer unitlafter complaints installed ecobee thermostat and one uv light. previous ac was a 2.5ton 20 year old a/c that would not keep up with demand in the summer months. Project was to add a/c duct to garage space approx 3-400 sq ft. Sales member recommended a 4 ton to increase capacity for added space. Company also hired to install pool pump, charged for it and has not installed. I have multiple emails regarding promises to complete project and correct the energy usage. AC was incorrectly sized to the property, company did not pull permit for installing ducts in garage. All excess energy usage has been sourced by electrician to the AC. Monthly bills have been over $300 with loan since install. Prior to project install averaged $75-$120 for monthly bills. Company advertised $0 electric bills with project and failed to produce. Multiple emails are saved promising to fix issue if it was related to ac/solar install. No results. With a/c off, solar panels function as advertised. Proof as sent to company, no resolve. Documentation provided.

I hired them in June to put solar on my home. I fully understood that it was an average they were working with and I was concerned I did not have enough solar panels to get the job done. I contacted them and they assured me it was because of the "average". I went the YEAR before I passed judgment and now I have spent 8 months trying to get someone to respond to me. I have emailed all the emails I have been given. Called and left a message. My power bills have not "gone down" or even holding steady. Honestly, it is not a bad system, I understand the app, etc. I watch it constantly. I need another panel for my home. PLEASE
We contracted through a 3rd party sales person to have 75,000$ solar panel system installed. It was installed and there was a wind storm on 28 October resulting in my solar panels blowing off of the ground mount. It was stated by a crew that came that the solar panels were not tightened down properly. My solar panels are still on the ground as of 6 April 2022. Communication has been very sporadic and I have been told multiple times that we were going to receive a check to cover 6 month of payments that we have not received. We were also told multiple times that crews were coming to repair my system and nobody ever has. A crew came out one time and worked for 4 hours and said they needed some tools and would come back the next day. They never came back, nor the original crew who surveyed the damages.

Doesn't finish the job and will not return phone calls EHS had to come out to my home to try and add solor panel The first time it was on 3/02, but they couldn't finish so they came back on 3/08 to complete the install. When I was home from work on the eighth, I went up to see how the job looked. And around 1600 on that day, I was on the phone with EHS to let them know that I was not happy as they left a mess up on my roof and didn't secure a couple of solar panels. I left a massage with the receptionist. I didn't here back from anyone by 1600 on the ninth so I called again and left another message reminding them that I have an unsecured panel that could have the potential to come down and damage property or even cause harm to the public .This went on for a few more days and finally on Thursday the eleventh I finally was on the schedule for Monday the fifteen. On Monday the tech called in sick, (nothing they could have done about that I get it) so they sent someone out on Tuesday the sixteenth. Now it's the eighteenth and it was the first time that I had a chance to go back up on my roof since the tech was there only to find out that nothing had been done, I still have cigatette butts, hardware, and scrap pieces of railing left on my roof and solar panels that are not secure. So I called them right away and had to leave a message again. And now, here it is the twenty-fourth and still do not know when they will fix the job they started. Their customer service is probably one of the worst that I have ever came across

Efficient Home Services. The sales team were great, but the installation part was terrible! The first installation started in November and its February and still not finished. If I can give a zero star, I would give it! The finance company has already paid them, and I am paying them and no solar is running and they said they would reimburse me but have not send me anything to pursue it. They are always full of accuses with no solutions. I have decided if this is not done by end of business on February 25th to take their stuff back and will file a lawsuit against them. This is the worst experienced I have been through doing work on my home!
As of February 19, 2022, Microinverters are not reporting data to the Gateway. Thirteen panels have not been producing. I have called and left voice mail messages and text messages at the provided contact number. I have submitted emails to the support team at enphaseenergy.com. I have also contacted the sales representative Roderick F., who sold me the solar panels. He assured me that he was addressing the situation and that a technician would be dispatched to inspect the system. However, no one has shown up! All continue to have full mailboxes.
There were two months in September and October when I was paying for my loan already and the panels weren't turned on yet. In December , I received a letter that there is a lien against my house from the solar panel manufacturing company even though I have been paying my loan. The letter was addressed to Efficient Home Services and CCd to me. So EHS has my money from the lender and isn't paying their bills and now they are coming after me. I should not be dealing with this.
My mother (81) years old and I were told several lies about their process, first of all we were told that my mother would receive the tax credit
My mother (81) years old and I were told several lies about their process, first of all we were told that my mother would receive the tax credit while they were aware she is on Social Security and when she went to file for the tax credit she was told that she doesn't get the credit because she is on Social Security. Needless to say that she was very disappointed because this was one of their sales tactics. Since having the panels installed we both have been paying for Duke Energy power as well as our payments that we are making for the loan on the panels which we were told that be would never have to pay Duke Energy any longer once the panels were installed, another sales tactic. Come to find out yes we do have to pay for using the grid about $12.00 monthly but we are paying this and additional usages that the panels are not covering. Oddly enough the sales Rep. we were told was fired after this became a mess. My contact person, Natasha avoids our calls and is rude and condescending. Natasha stated that we would be reimbursed the overages and then claims she never said that, another lie. Now we have been told that she will do a review after a year of service and is now asking for 13 months of bills in order to do their review. I have researched and this is not how other solar companies work, they should know how to set up your system to work as the Rep. described. This company is not a professionally run business and we are both wishing we had gone with another company, but again the Rep. made a lot of promises that have not occurred. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST.

I purchased solar panels from this company and had to have limbs cut back from the house
I purchased solar panels from this company and had to have limbs cut back from the house. They worked in a $3,200 quote to a local tree company into my loan and was supposed to send the $3,200 payment to the tree company. I have a contract stating that they are adding this money into the current loan I have already made payments to. This company has still not paid the tree company any of the money and the solar work was completed in September. I have called this company on Sept 20, 22, x 2, Sept 23, Oct 15, 19, Nov. 9, 10, Jan 19, 25, 31, Feb 4, 21, March 2, 9, 16, 30, April 1. They are no longer accepting calls and you have to leave a voicemail in which they never return. I need this tree company paid the money that they did the work for. I am currently making loan payments in which the tree quote is included in so I refuse to pay for this tree work twice. This company said that they would pay the tree quote and send the check to the tree company upon the completion of the solar installation but every one of my past requests have been ignored. Most everytime I called I was transferred and told to leave their "financial" dept a message and email, in which they have never responded back to to this day. I always got the same reply that they were looking into it and would let me know something. They have had the quote in my file and have had over 6 months to pay the quote. You will see in the attached paperwork that they also promised a $2000 rebate. After many phone calls they finally did send the rebate check 2 weeks ago but still has refused to pay the tree quote and for the work that was done back in Sept. with the tree company.

We hired Efficient Home Services (EHS) to install a roof, rooftop solar system, and a backup battery system
We hired Efficient Home Services (EHS) to install a roof, rooftop solar system, and a backup battery system. We had several issues with the installation, but the most severe involves the battery installation. After lengthy delays in having the battery installed, EHS came out and did a partial installation. The installer said that EHS sent him out without the necessary parts. As a result, he had to turn off our solar panels. This went on for more than a month. EHS finally sent out another installer to complete the job, but he could not finish the work either. This led us to have an independent inspector come over to inspect EHS's work, at our expense. He identified numerous problems with both the solar panel/roof installation, and the battery installation. Most significantly, he determined that EHS failed to install a part (that was sitting on top of one of the service panels) that was absolutely crucial to preventing the battery from overcharging and being destroyed or potentially catching on fire. We advised EHS of this and they refused to do anything about it. Nonetheless, they sent yet another installer who did not tell us he was there. He hooked up the Enphase battery without the part, and turned on the system. We discovered this later that evening but EHS refused to discuss it with us or address our concerns. We then called the battery manufacturer and they told us to disconnect the battery and they walked us through that process. Numerous calls and emails to EHS later, they refuse to talk to us. They do not say that our inspector is wrong that they botched the installation, they just refuse to discuss it or acknowledge it. A representative of Enphase called them to discuss the situation and to confirm to EHS that the battery installation is incomplete, but they are refusing to deal with him either. Meanwhile, EHS told our lender the job is done so they can starting billing us.

We bought a solar power system from Efficient Home Services in St
We bought a solar power system from Efficient Home Services in St. Pete, FL last year and it was installed around the first of March . The system has only worked properly intermittently and has been nothing but problems. For the first two months, the system was not working at all. They finally sent someone out to fix it and it seemed to be working properly. Some weeks later, we lost grid power and there was no back up power in the house, but I noticed that the pool pump was working. They sent someone out who asked me if the installers had asked me which circuits I wanted powered when the grid went down. I told him no, so he had to rewire the whole panel. Some time later, I saw on the Generac app that the system wasn't feeding power back to the grid. They sent a tech person out who told me that "someone forgot to flip the switch that sends excess power back to the grid"! Then, some months later, the grid went down and again, we got no battery power. They sent someone out to fax it and he told us that it had been fixed. A week or two later, the grid went down again and again, no back up power. They sent a guy out again and he told me that we needed a new inverter. This was a month ago. We are still waiting for the inverter and EHS just gives me the runaround and blames the problem on Generac. Basically, EHS has been telling me that the problem is that Generac has been shipping defective parts. Some time ago, when the system stopped working, they had to come out and replace some devices called "Snaps". The tech person told me that they had another cusotmer who had to have these snaps replaced and they had to go back out a week or two later and replace them again. To me, the problems looks to be a combination of incompetence on the part of EHS and defective parts from Generac. Right now, I am trying to call Generac and have been on hold for 30 minutes. I guess that cusotmer service is not that important to them.

We were blatantly misled by Efficient Home Services
We were blatantly misled by Efficient Home Services. There were 2 things that were deciding factor for us. The first was that the government would "pay" 26% of the loan amount for the panels and that our power bill would be no more than $20 per month. EHS stated that the 26% (approximately $17,000) would have to be paid within the 1st year to 18 months because if not the loan payment would increase. They went on to specifically state, several times, that when we filed our taxes in 2022, we would get the 26% credit from the government and that we would be able to pay that sum towards the loan and the monthly payment would in turn not increase. They went so far as to say that we could put the total sum into a bank account and use it to make automated payments for the loan. After we signed the contract, it took EHS 3 months and 5+ failed inspections from the start of installation to get our panels and batteries up and running. I personally spoke to the electrical inspector and learned that the resolution was literally written on the door of the breaker box the whole time! However, since EHS insisted on sending boys that were inexperienced and surely not licensed electricians, it took all that time to resolve a simple $20 fix. They took so long in fact that I had to start paying the loan for the panels while still paying the power bill ($400+ per month). A month after installation our roof began leaking and we attempted several times over months to have EHS come out to look at the issue and no one could even be bothered to contact us. It has now been roughly nine months since the install and the so called $20 power bill has only happened twice with the power bill ranging from $79 to $130 so far. As a kicker, the 26% they continually said we'd get to pay in full towards the loan, is a tax credit for the next 5 years, so our loan payment will inevitably go up. To summarise I was paying $200 in power now I'm paying $300+ and in about 6 months time surely $400+.

Worst company I have ever dealt with
Worst company I have ever dealt with. ( And I deal with a lot of companies, I am the purchasing manager for a large business). We signed up with them back in June/July They finally installed everything Nov 26th of 2020. Had to wait until March when the 3rd inspection passed. I've had nothing but problems since. I've called numerous times and talked to so many people there I can't even count. ( I'm sure they have records). We were promised by the sales person our energy bill would go down to almost nothing, (under $100) we were paying close to $400 a month for electric. We are now in May 2022 and I am still stuck paying close to $400 for electric and $200+ for the solar loan. Had a Tech show up late in the day for problems. He was here for about 20 minutes, played with some buttons and told me he would be back out to replace a few things. A week went by and I didn't hear anything so I called the office. They had no info, the tech did not relay anything to them. " We can send a tech out but we are busy so they will be out in two weeks. The day they were supposed to be here I get a call from the office at the very end of the day that the tech didn't have what was needed. We'll have to reschedule for 2 more weeks. 10/4 they sent out 2 of their techs again to fix an issue. P.S I will update with any changes but don't hold your breath cause it might take them another week or 2 to just read the last email I sent her. P.SS So fast forward to now 5/17/2022 (hope you didn't really hold your breath ☺) still having the same problems with our system not working properly and our battery not storing any power. I've called the office numerous times and all it does is ring, after the message to "Please hold your call is very important to us" BS. All I see now are bad Google reviews with the same problems as me. If they have this many issues why not fix the current customers problems instead of continuing to install bad product. Bad business ethics.

We had solar panels installed in Oct 2021
We had solar panels installed in Oct 2021. The installation part was terrible. The installers left garbage, parts & tools all over the yard & in the driveway for us to run over. The installers were very unprofessional in language & work ethic. They'd arrive here at noon & leave by 3:00 pm, smoke & leave cigarette butts all over & use curse words plenty. One of the solar panels was cocked at an angle instead of flat & flush to the other panels. It took 2 attempts & weeks later to fix that situation. The solar panels have not worked correctly & we're 6 months in. We are supposed to be getting 17,250 watts a day off our solar panels but we barely get 300-400 watts a day. We have 2 sites of solar panels; one site hasn't produced ANY watts since they've been installed. That's highway robbery! They knew we had trees & didn't mention anything as to how they would affect our panels. We had to have over 12 trees cut down to unshadow 1 site of solar panels. Which is more cost to us! We started paying the solar panel loan of $237.55 per month, beginning Jan 21st, 2022...BUT they haven't worked yet...6 months down the road. AND on top of that we are still paying our monthly electric bill which has gone up higher since we've had the solar panels. Our average monthly electric bill was calculated to be ~$325 a month said EHS, & we were told that the solar panels we bought would cover this. They haven't at all! We pay $237.55 a month for the solar panels AND a huge electric bill monthly. Here's our electric bills since we started paying on the solar panels: Jan-$371.03, Feb-$543.68, March-$325.63 & April-$285.84. Every time we call to have the solar panels fixed no one calls back. We have made over a dozen calls to get these solar panels working. The Generac inverter hasn't worked since installation on one site but we have to wait another month to have that part installed. & no one has instructed us in person how the system works. We need to be reimbursed $1187.75 for solar payments.

Efficient Home Services took forever to schedule project on roof and Windows Several months ago I hired Efficient Home Services to do put in Impact Windows and a slider as well as re- shingle my roof. Over the last few months they would not give me a time of when they would begin all they said was the products were ordered. On March 25 the roofing supplies were delivered. Two weeks later I get a call from the Sales Rep I worked with Brandon asking if I had an attic I told him no mobile homes don't have attics and discussed what the delay was. Roofing materials have been sitting in my front yard now for weeks at this point. Apparently there was an issue if a building permit needed to be pulled. Never heard back from anyone. A gentleman did come to measure the windows . Again another from Brandon wants me to get pictures from the attic or crawl space told him again no attic or crawl space. Had to send him 5 pictures of the ceilings of the living room, kitchen, dining area and both bedrooms. Phone calls were made no phone calls returned. Now April 9 comes get a call from Steve says he will be at my home on April 10 to install windows. April 10 I was informed by Steve only 6 of the 8 windows will be installed 1 did not get measured which now has to go through the financing office and under a new contract the slider and the other window are on back order. One roommate not happy with job done because they left they interior untrimmed and Uncaulked. I still have not heard from EHS on date for roof call made on April 16 to find out situation was told it had to do with the length of nail was told someone would get back with me. I spoke to Steve and apparently someone Google searched my house and assumed I had a metal roof. No one has come to actually look at the roof but the salesman who did a 10 minute inspection. I talked to Steve about my concerns about the amount of supplies and what was brought by my roommate who does this work for a living and was somewhat dismissed and told I was going to be charged extra.
Company has failed to reimburse monies owed for a system not operational for over 5 months
Company has failed to reimburse monies owed for a system not operational for over 5 months. I ordered the solar system in August and the entire system was installed at the end of August and finished in the beginning of September. The entire system was financed at a cost of $278.27/month but will not be implemented until the system is up and running. EHS advised me that there will be an overlap when the solar system is operational and the monthly payment required by Mosiac. November came around and the first payment was due from Mosaic and the solar system was still not operational. I reached out to them several times on what the hold up was and they said it was up to FPL. After a few months after that I come to find out I needed to pay a $400.00 FPL application fee which again was never mentioned to me. EHS said they would pay for it. I waited several more weeks and come to find out they did not pay for it. I ended up paying for it and they eventually sent me a personal check to cover the cost. I waited again a few more weeks and come to find out they failed to tell me that I needed a 1 million dollar liability coverage as per FPL. After scrambling around to find out where and how I was given several different stories from insurance agencies. I happen to speak to a girl at EHS finally due to the fact she actually called me requesting that binder for that coverage she said there was a change in management and apolized for all the mishaps. She provided me an insurance agent they have used for all their customers (news to me for the first time). I contacted them immediately and they processed the coverage but it took over a week to submit proper paper work to satisfy FPL requirements. In the mean time I have requested compensation for the months I have had to pay to the Mosaic people but as well my FPL bill of over $475.00/month plus the liability policy that EHS said they would cover for $523.40 making it a total of $1,914.75. EHS has refused to reply back and the only communication I have had is with the sale representative who has requested, as he says for me to be compensated. At the same time I let them know that system is finally running but the breakers on the side of the house which is part of the system measured a temperature of 185 degrees which dangerous and I pointed this out to them and still no response. I need to have my money taken care of as well the system looked at. Afterover 7 months the system is finally running.

Efficient Home Service/ Solar System has failed 6 times the inspection with Hillsborough County
Efficient Home Service/ Solar System has failed 6 times the inspection with Hillsborough County. I feel unsafe with the solar and power-wall. As a property owner and taxpayer of Hillsborough County, I am writing to provide details on what has become the most challenging business/client relation I have ever encountered or have ever had to deal with. On June 8 I signed a contract with Efficient Home Services of Florida LLC (EHS) to purchase a Solar System to switch my property to Solar Power. The system was supposed to include the solar panels, Tesla back up batteries and a solar water heater. The seller, Mr. D.; promised that the system would be installed and in full working fashion within the next 45-65 days from the day the contract was signed. During contract signing, I was clear that it was a must to have the system installed and in working fashion in the promised time as one of my main concerns was to have the system in place in case we were affected by any atmospheric system during the 2020 hurricane season. I was told by Mr. Donihi "EHS is the number one company in the USA for solar systems, you have nothing to worry." I was later contacted to advise that in order to speed the installation I had to accept Generac batteries as Tesla was no longer an option, and I accepted. Today is January 13 and at this time, the system installation is incomplete. Hillsborough County Inspection has come out 5 times to make inspections and have found failures to compliance codes that need to be fixed and EHS has failed to do so and at this point continue to put at risk the safety of my home and my family with an installation that has been deemed as incorrect, lacking surge protection and many other components that have been pointed out in the failed inspections. While waiting for another scheduled inspection from Hillsborough County, I asked the EHS representative why inspections continue to be scheduled when the failures are not fixed or satisfied and also when the water heater is not even installed. The EHS employee explained to not expect to see a water heater installed before passing *** Hillsborough County inspection as they don't have the required permits for water heater installations so once the solar systems pass, they will just bring it and connect it without needing to deal with all the paperwork, permits and scrutiny from the County. Besides needing to deal with EHS, I also have the financing company that they used, Loanpal, harassing me every day with calls and weekly mailings requesting payments for a solar system that has not been fully installed, that is not safe and that is not in compliance with the County inspection codes and has failed to do so in the past 5 inspections. It is completely frustrating and upsetting to have to deal with this dishonest company. I have records of all the calls, messages and texts back and forth with this company and have spoken to so many people who all claim to have authority there (Natasha, Kim, Jake and others that I don't even recall); but at the end, no one has taken care of the real issues. The amount of time off that I have taken of from work to deal with the calls, the failed installations and the failed inspections is just ridiculous. The energy, stress and headaches are just unaccountable and unacceptable. The level of miscommunication within the company shows when all of their reps or techs have shown up here to my house and ask me, what needs to be fixed and where, when I am the customer, and when this has been going on for so long. Also is very unprofessional of EHS to continue blaming Hillsborough County Inspector Mark of being the one who does not know how the solar system works and blocking the process of obtaining the pass the the inspection. Inspector Mark himself, has had to deal with the lack of organization and structure of this company as every time he has come for inspection; EHS sends out a different rep to whom he has to explain over and over the same violations and failures to the codes that are holding up the job and they act like is all brand new.

Terrible company. I got my brother into a mess by recommending them. They were good when they installed on my home in 2020 but when they did my brothers home in 2021, they bait and switched him by promising 30 panels and then they switched him 18 on the day of installation and threatened that he couldnt cancel. They made him take out a PACE loan against his property now he has a property tax lien against his home because of it for the next 30 years. He now has two bills because his system does not work 4-6 times a year and they always never answer their phone and customer service is non-existent. We are going to the news stations with his story. They never come out to fix the system anymore every time it breaks down. We just want it to work throughout the year.
Fenomenal job done by EHS with my solar system. Recommended.
After considering for a few months going solar and doing some research I came across EHS. Theyve done a wonderful job for me. The installation was completed in one day by an awesome crew and my system is up and running ahead of schedule.
Efficient Home Services did a great job. Even tho the county gave us a hard time, Ehs did its best to have the system up and running in no time.
