Titan Solar Power I am very is appointed with Titan Solar

I am very is appointed with Titan Solar. Almost from the beginning it has been it has been delays , excuses, more delays and promises not fulfilled. Out sales representative was misleading, did not provide what he promised. That being for one, a hard copy of the contract for us to read before the 3 days cancellation. And he quoted us one monthly price, showed it to us on his computer. We were happy about that but that was not what was on the loan company contract. Now, before you waste your time and mine to tell me that the sales representatives are not part of titan solar, let me tell you that they are selling your product and you should be concerned about their integrity. But let me continue, customer service is no better. Phone calls and e-mails go unanswered and if they are answered, promises are made, and not kept. We were promised more than once to not be concerned that our payment was due and we were we would be reimbursed. I have fulfilled the request for reimbursement and have heard nothing. Titan doesn't want to reimburse for the second month because the claim is the delay was not titans fault but either the city or power company. We as the customer had no dealing with either, nor were we ever as to contact them. Some of the delays after finally getting the panels installed was the denied inspection of the power box by one of the connecting sources. Several times titan came, only to continue to be red tagged. Therefore, I believe we should be reimbursed for the 2nd month. When it was finally up and running, it only worked one month before, the power was not being provided by solar. I had to find this out from the power co. Therefore titan should be responsible for that months payment as well.

I applied for solar around 7 months ago and am still waiting for it to get hooked up its ridiculous when a person is paying for the solar loan and the electricity bill at the same time. Times are tough for some people especially in a small town . I want this company to get a move on or pay for the loan I'm getting tired of waiting .

Titan Solar Power I want to report a crime with the thief being Titan Solar My concern is Titan Solar Power and the treatment Im receiving from the company

I want to report a crime with the thief being Titan Solar My concern is Titan Solar Power and the treatment Im receiving from the company. I ordered and received my solar panel package in June . June is when my first payment was due for the installment of my panels were put on the roof and they have been working fine. In that same package I bought the Tesla solar battery for back up in case of a power outage. This battery was on back order an at that time I was told 2 months. Well at 3 months I called to ask about the battery and installation of it and I was told they were on back order 6 months. At the 6 months point I started calling Titan Solar every 2 weeks or so. Each time I was given what I felt was a brush off. Each time I called I would speak to a different service representative so each time they had to put me on hold to try and figure out whats going on with my account and this is after being on hold for an hour+ each time. About the 7th month I was told my battery was in town and they had to talk to one of their contractors to provide me with an installation date. My battery was not at my house until March 18, 2022. The battery was placed in my garage with the lines hooked to it but there was a inspection to be done by ENVenrgy I was told. Well here goes the run around again and *** being told that this that and the other has to happen but Im getting no movement on a purchase Ive been paying on for over a year now. They company has only called me back 2 times Ive been dealing with them and the customer service representative says they are not allowed to transfer calls up to a manager. Im desperately asking for help from someone! If youre not that person can you please advise me who I should be talking to. Price

NO KIDDING, I never write reviews but this company makes me want to vent my frustrations. Like others on this review site Titan is quick to make the sale and take your money but it goes down hill from there. 1) They miss represent the timeline and are VERY quick to blame the utility company in my area. However, I contacted the utility company every step of the way to ensure they were timely... and they were. 2) The designer that first came out should have set up EXACTLY how the final product was going to appear. Not only for my sake but primarily for the installers. The engineering group was no better due to missing crucial detail changes which also delayed the project. 3) Due to the lack of planning on the front end the installers (to date) have been out here five times. Each time is another month later because they are so busy.4) Had the system been designed properly the first time and slightly better training for the installer they could have this done in two day. 5) Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone... your *** care, dispatch, scheduler and corporate. Perhaps they know who's calling? In conclusion: Had they done the job RIGHT the first time and communicated with one another this never should take over a year to install. Doing it RIGHT the first time perhaps they wouldn't have the extreme backlog.I went with Titan and Solar Edge because they are both Nation wide companies and will most likely be around for duration of my time on this planet and when I sign up with Titan they didn't have 2 stars... it's obviously has gone down hill and the leadership needs to step up. It can be easily fixed despite the backlog. Good Luck Titan

My system was commissioned in late Nov '22. I have made 2 payments and was promised the first 6 months of payments to be sent to me to forward to Mosaic, the lending company, since my son was a first responder. I have not received any checks and have repeatedly tried to contact Solar Titan and have not received any phone calls about the issue. I recently learned that they have gone out of business. My electric bills have still been the same as last year month that they are being compared to with my system showing on the Solar Edge app that it is producing power. I wish I could go back in time and tell the salesman that I wanted to think about it before I signed on the dotted line. I feel like I was lied to and this company using the term that they are a "veteran owned" company should carry weight in the court of law when *** is brought down on them.

Titan Solar Power Besides a long lead time for installation services it has now taken 52 days before going live on solar power

Besides a long lead time for installation services it has now taken 52 days before going live on solar power. The town electrical/solar inspector failed the installation three times and finally on the fourth inspection passed. Titan Solar put a hole through my house into my Main box inside and left a bunch of loose wires. One of the installer told me that was a mistake. My siding was new so therefore I asked them to replace the piece of siding as well as seal the hole through my house. They did that after acquiring the right tools. The customer service argued with me about the time the local power company gave approval to go live. I could have been live 2-1/2 weeks but Titan Solar coordinator never followed up with the power company or me. They also argued with me about the power company exchanging the meter. They said it wasn't done when in all actuality I watched them install it on my house over a month previous to our conversation. I then received the instructions to turn on my system. A few photos and vague description. The green and blue light did not go on therefore I had to call back and have service. Turns out the inverter was bad. I had to wait another day to have the inverter replaced. I am now live and the company will not reimburse me for the payments I made on the panel while my system was not working ...and I am also paying my utility company. They asked for copies of my payment. I sent them the statements and now they want me to send my bank statement and/or a receipt for the loan company. I've asked several times for a manager to call me back and the customer service rep told me they have all the information they need. A manager still has not called me to follow up on the problems encountered. I just want people to beware of the poor customer service, installation service and equipment I've already experienced.

This company is total rubbish. No communication. I have a system and was told my bill for the size of my house after the first year with the amount of panels I purchased would have been less than 25 dollars or possibly even have a credit from the utility company because of the amount of energy I get from the panels. That has been a total lie and my bill has never been low. It has taken me over a year and I am still trying to get in contact with this company. It has gotten to the point my system doesn't work at all. Absolutely garbage. I am currently trying to get a hold of a lawyer to take them to court for lying about what the benefits are and what the cost would be. I would absolutely not have or recommend anyone go to this company. They are deceitful and dishonest.

I had been calling since November 10th because i noticed my power bill was over $200.00 dollars since August I left a message for a call back which they said would be 48 hours, no one called back, so I called again on November 14th, they said they would call back, no call back, called again on November 17th, they said they were sending an email to whoever was responding to the complaint, we finally got an email saying the equipment was at fault and as soon as they got the parts they would set up a technician, they received the parts on December 12th and we had to call again on December 29th to ask them why they did not call upon receiving the parts, I finally got an apology and the tech was set up for January 6th he did not come until January 9th due to bad weather today I found out my bill is over $300.00! i called and they said the service was working and if they send someone out I would be charged a fee. Very BAD customer service and here I need to pay my solar power bill and my electric bill.

Titan Solar Power If you are considering going solar!

If you are considering going solar! READ THIS REGARDING TITAN! When searching for a reputable solar *** sales company you should first start by finding out WHO the installer partners with to do their sales for them! The solar sales company is very important... The sales person is separate from the installer, they just sell the installers product! Titan is just the installer! The solar sales company or salesperson, can really give the installer a bad name, because the salesperson is the one handling the entireprocess from start to finish! then in the end the solar system is installed! But you are still only dealing with the salesperson that you chose! You are in the salespersons hands the whole way until install, and after! So if the salespersonmesses up, then that makes the installer look bad, even though they had no direct relationship with the client! So many times you'll see installers have great reviews, sure... but also if they've been around for many years so of course they are going to have good and bad reviews over say, another solar installer that has only been in business a short time...Titan has been since1986, most of the reviews are because of negligent solar salespeople, and unfortunately it automatically falls on the installers name... Please really READ Titans reviews! We have absolutelynothing at all to hide, we are fully transparent. That is what stands us out from all the others... Titan Solar Power is at the top for a good reason! https://www.solarpowerworldonline.com/2022-top-residential-solar-contractors/Titan has many solar sales partners that they work with across the US, and there are some reviews that are not good as you can clearly see! a reputable SOLAR SALES COMPANY or SOLAR BROKER (Which is best because they have more options, and typically a broker is a bit mor knowledgeable when it comes to solar). This is where you need to start your research 1st!

This company should not be in business. They are misleading consumers and deceiving consumers. They are committing solar panel fraud, unfair business practices in the advertisement, solicitation and financing. My entire contract is a lie. Meget the salesman came to my home ask to see my utility bill. He said if I get the solar panels my bill will be only $114.00 a month for the attire loan for 30 years. He told me the $114.0 will cover my monthly utility bill and the cost of the solar panels. Sounds too good to me true. You are right. When I went online to pay my bill, I noticed my monthly payment went from $114.00 a month to $165.00 a month. Now I'm paying Sanger my utility company and Loanpal/GoodLeap. I'm working with Loanpal/Goodleap for them to send me the original e-mail of the Truth in Lending Disclosure Statement I supposedly signed. I don't care if I have to get a lawyer or take them to court myself, I'm not paying Titan, Loanpal/Goodleap for service they are not providing. That is called false advertisement or be stuck in a 30-year contract I never seen or sign. This company is a liar, and the truth is not in them. Rating -ZERO

The Titan sales person was very nice and professional; however, we feel that we were mislead about several things. First of all, he said that the federal government would give us a rebate and leave us with a cost of $30,000. Totally false. We only get a rebate (which is actually a tax credit) if we have a tax liability. As a result, we owe around $58,000 because we dont have enough tax liability to receive much of a tax credit. On top of that, we discovered that a job of our size should cost a total of $30,000! Were being overcharged big time. A word of warning. Consult your tax consultant before you sign anything. I will NEVER recommend Titan.

Just like what all the other people are talking about. The communication is pretty much zero through this company. I agreed to get the solar panels back in July they were not installed till December 28th this year the last day the loan was good for ironically. I received an email from Titan December 30th saying I had to wait for the utility company to come out and do the final inspection and turn it on. Nothing had happened for 2 weeks so I called the utility company and they said they had not been contacted for the final inspection by Titan and nobody is getting back to me from Titan. Today the 20th I received another email from Titan saying the same exact thing that Titan sent me on December 30th so I have the solar panels on my house since December 28th that aren't working and there's been zero communication that I can trust from Titan I would not use this company!

Titan Solar Power We signed an Agreement with Titan Solar in September to have solar installed

We signed an Agreement with Titan Solar in September to have solar installed. In October the exterior of the property was inspected (by drone), and the interior inspection to check rafters would support solar panels. Passed those inspections. In April 2022 the panels were installed but not connected to a breaker/fuse box inside the property. They were connected to a 'box' in the porch that connects the power for the garage to the power in the house. An Inverter and Breaker were installed on the exterior of the porch to a single sheet of siding with the screws protruding half an inch on the inside of the siding. On June 30 the battery installed but installer saw that the installation thus far was incorrect. The the Inspector visited saw what had been done said the workmanship was shoddy and he could not pass the inspection as it was not complete so he rejected the installation. Last week of July two employees of Titan Solar called to view the installation called their Manager told him/her what needed to be done. The Manager O.K.'d this and we were asked which date was best August 3 or 5. We said August 3. No one came on August 3, called *** they called back explained what had happened, they had no note of a visit, said they would investigate and call back, so far no call back. The same day I emailed *** giving all relevant details as yet no reply, asked for a date for the installation to be finished, or a date for Titan Solar to come and remove all the equipment so far installed, if neither of these requests are addressed we will seek legal advice. It appears that the Office in Mesa does not communicate with the installer in *** and vice versa. Each time someone has called they were not aware of previous work. So much for "being transparent, honor promises, tell the truth and be responsive" these are criteria required to become Complaintsboard.com accredited. We need this situation resolved now!

Titan Solar Power The company got the process moving quickly considering all the Covid issues with getting access to permits and so forth

The company got the process moving quickly considering all the Covid issues with getting access to permits and so forth. The team came in from *** and installed the panels quickly, besides leaving installation garbage (screws and cut ends of tie wraps) left in the yard. Then I had the opportunity to call their tech support to get my invertor enabled so that the system would start producing electricity for me. 30 + minutes on hold, note if you left a message for a call back they would call within 48 hours. Unacceptable. The next opportunity to call in was to report the app they use for me to check the panels was showing 28 of my 29 panels. Again after a long wait to get a rep on the phone they finally send a rep out and it turns out that 29th panel was never plugged in. Now while they were checking the panels the disabled the inverter for safety, I was not told that I had to call to get my invertor turned back on as we had a weekend of full sun, yet I could not take advantage of it. I then reached out on their email address . They sent an Operations manager who was extremely knowledgeable and found the firmware version was out of date as why the system was not calling home. Doing this time (since Feb 2022) I have brought up many times that when the system is producing full power (full sun) 9 of the 29 panels are producing an average of .5kWh lower than the other 20 panels. I have sent emails with screen shots of the production and this is what tech support sent me:Hello *** thank you for reaching out, we have checked the solar edge application and have seen since then production has gone higher. Also take in mind if there are any trees around there might be causinga few panels to have lower productiondue to the shading occurring. If any other questions please reach back out at this email or call back at their customer support number.I have no trees in the front of my house. I regret doing business with this company.

Titan Solar Power I purchased a solar panel system from Titan Solar Power and specified that I wanted the new system to be joined with an existing solar system

I purchased a solar panel system from Titan Solar Power and specified that I wanted the new system to be joined with an existing solar system that I have on my house. The sales man at the time told me that they could do that and sold me the panels and equipment with it being attached with the existing solar system by installing an inverter to take the load of both systems. I went ahead with the project and stopped the construction when the installers were starting to the safety switches and inverter on the front of my house. After several weeks of gong back and forth with Titan they installed a inverter on the house to handle both systems. Thew system has been up and running for quite a few months. Now they are saying that I canceled the project in 2021 and told Sunnova to refund the total amount of the payments that I have made on the system. I did not receive any type of notification that this was being done. The are now saying the sales person that took my order never agreed to install an inverter to handle both systems. Titan Solar Power has been trying to me to sign a CASH contact with them for the solar panel installation. They have also tried to get me to pay them an outrageous price for removing the panels from my roof and stated they would not make any repairs to the new $74,000 roof I had just installed on my hours. Now, Titan Solar Power has sent an email to Sunnova stating the email was from me requesting that Sunnova refund all the payments that I have made on the system. This was a lie because I have never requested that from Sunnova. As far as I am concerned Titan Solar Power completed the project when they installed the larger inverter on my home and connected both solar systems together. I had not received any correspondence from Titan Solar Power referring to this installation and wasn't aware if anything going on until Sunnova called me last week and asked if I had requested they refund my monthly payments.

Titan Solar Power I read these reviews and I see that everyone's experiences are exactly like mine

I read these reviews and I see that everyone's experiences are exactly like mine. I get 1 lie after another, broken promises and when I do confront them they do not respond. I started this process in May and here it is almost December and the equipment is not fully installed nor is the equipment they have installed running yet and my first payment is at the beginning of January. So I will be paying for something that is not even operational or fully installed yet. I regret even trusting this company to do the job. The finance company that financed the equipment has done a full refinance of my house in the time that Titan made a phone call to set an appointment for the city inspection. Which will be a month and a half by then since they installed the panels, still waiting on Battery, but NO one can give me any answers. Don't trust them.4-15-22 Was supposed to have powerwall battery installed, they came out shut my solar system down, put battery up and said they have to order some parts and now my solar system is down for yet another week before they can complete the Powerwall install. Now I have to still pay for equipment and also pay for my electricity from the grid because they were not fully prepared to finish the install and i loose out of more than a weeks worth of solar production. This is how it has gone from the start, always something.5-6-22 Battery is installed but still not working correctly. At first, battery would discharge but not charge up using solar and my Tesla app kept showing solar production at night time. I got a hold of Titan and instead of coming out to see what is installed wrong, they made a change on Tesla App to fix my solar production at night, but since it's INSTALLED WRONG, it shows I am using nothing but grid power and will not discharge my battery. Still waiting for system to run correctly. Again, how it's gone right from the start, always something.5-26-22 Battery still not working properly!

Titan Solar Power Completely Deceived: They lied about EVERYTHING including tax benefits and energy savings

Completely deceived, they lied about EVERYTHING. 1) There is no tax rebate to apply to your loan since the energy efficiency credit is spread over 5 years and only counts as a small tax credit. We received a $971.00 credit. The loan structure was supposed to include a significant rebate given to the finance company, but that was false. 2) We were told our electric bill would disappear and we might earn buyback credits due to high output. In reality, we produce about half the energy we need, leading to a slight reduction in our bill, but the solar panel payments are equal to our previous 'average' bill. We're losing approximately $150 a month. 3) The salesman claimed we were purchasing the system, but it's actually a costly lease, and after 20 years and $42,000, we own nothing. The salesman assured us of a cash rebate for our loan and that our electric bill would be eliminated. He also said we'd own the panels. These were all lies to manipulate us into a bad deal. Without the promised rebate, the deal makes no sense. Why install solar that only covers half your energy needs and increases your monthly expenses by $150? Despite numerous messages, we've received no callbacks.

Titan Solar Power Our experience with Titan has been both extremely positive and genuinely encouraging

Our experience with Titan has been both extremely positive and genuinely encouraging. Throughout each and every step of this solar panel process (from planning, installation, and now to ongoing monitoring and maintenance)Titan representatives have proven attentive to our unique situation, thorough in seeing that each stage of the project was carried out properly, and truly helpful with friendly service and quick, clear communication. During the initial planning stage, Titan representatives were transparent, personable, and made sure that we fully understood the project before any commitments were made, from how much energy our panels would produce over their lifespan, to what flexible and attractive financing options were available to us. In fact, we were delighted to discover how accommodating Titan representatives proved to be when negotiating our project. Titan even managed to save us thousands on our project by helping us navigate existing rebate opportunities through our local energy system provider. All throughout the installation period, Titan project managers were quick to contact us with updates well ahead of key dates and were always careful to ensure that our customer experience was as positive as possible. For that, we were extremely grateful. The installation crew they brought on likewise proved professional and exhibited quality workmanship. Post installation, whenever we had an issue, concern, or a simple question Titan representatives continued to display the same eager courtesy and thoroughness they've exhibited all along in assisting us. The people at Titan are quality folk. In our case, they've proven themselves friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate for helping regular people gain affordable access to greener energy solutions at home.As solar technology and our own personal energy needs develop over time, my family and I are confident that we can count on Titan to be there and assist us with the same quality, professional service.

Titan Solar Power Very frustrated and unhappy with titan solar power

Very frustrated and unhappy with titan solar power. For one thing, they as a company have very poor communication, ie. not calling to set up a time to install and just showing up instead when no one is home, not returning calls for weeks, etc. It is very unprofessional. Just trying to set up and appointment or get a return call is a hassle. Ie, we ordered our solar system in Oct to 2020, and here we are in June and our system is still not running, it's just been sitting on our roof for weeks when we were told it would be installed and running by January , they have no showed appointments with us, etc. For this reason alone I would not recommend titan solar to anyone, but it gets worse. For example, titan is required to give the schematics to the city inspector and they know this but for whatever reason did not do this which has delayed us from having it running several weeks. Instead of fixing this by simply sending in the schematics, they have left it up to us to try to give the schematics to an inspector and arrange an appointment with the inspector ourselves. So now we're at a point where titan has dropped the ball on so many things they are required to do on their end multiple times that we have a ~ $30k solar system on our roof that does *** work that we are having to pay for, while also still having to pay a power ***. When we complained to titan that we should not have to start making payments on the system yet as it is not even working, we were assured we would be reimbursed until it was up and running. Surprise, they lied about that, too. Here we are with no reimbursement, no working solar system, still paying power bills, and ~ $30k in debt for nothing. It's absolutely ridiculous and so frustrating. We feel we've been robbed honestly, and we did not get at all what we paid for. Customer service at titan is a joke, as is the entire company. I do not recommend to anyone, ever. Don't chance it with titan, there are better, more efficient, honest, and more professional companies out there. At this point I wish we could just get rid of the system "

Titan Solar Power Starting off everything seemed fine

Starting off everything seemed fine. Once we moved forward and were waiting on install the manager over our project lied about the product going on our home. We were waiting on a specific panel that we had signed a contract for. Because of covid stuff was moving in slow so when the manager *** called he told us we were getting 2 free panels as a courtesy. What he was actually doing was adding 2 panels of a lesser quality to our home of a different brand all together to equal what we were supposed to be getting to complete install. Needless to say the representative (alex) had out originally told us the truth on the matter and we knew joey had lied to us. When my husband and i confronted him about it he said he was sorry about that and how could he rectify the situation. We agreed on them paying our first payment and all was good. Original panels were installed and all went fine. Our first payment was made by us not them so i decided to reach out seeing i had not heard anything from them. I spoke with alex first as he had "friended" us through the situation and we felt comfortable talking to him. He told us he would get it handled and talk to joey. When I didnt hear back i texted *** on the situation where all seemed fine and asked how he could get us the money. I told him the options we had out of what was given to him and he has refused to answer me since and that was the end of April. When I had reached back out to *** on the situation in frustration of it all i was then told (very rude) may I add that that was not his problem and i was "stalking" him over it. Please keep in mind he told me to contact him with issues and i have it in text. I was also told that he provided me with $500 and he don't see the issue. Keep in mind the $500 was for a referral plan they have and my neighbors were my referral. I have yet to hear back from either but have full text conversation that they were responsible for our first payment for the manager lying to us and getting caught up in it. Not to mention it really hurt my feelings the way our representative treated me after the fact. He had seemed like a very nice guy. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The product and install was fine but the treatment from the staff...not so much. Very shady people!

Titan Solar Power Worst home improvement contractors I've ever dealt with

Worst home improvement contractors I've ever dealt with. First, the sales representative (Ralph A.) made promises to both my wife and I that he didn't keep; 1)He promised our system would be up and running before our first bill was due 2) he promised the conduits would be concealed by running them through the attic 3) he promised that the solar credits were easy to obtain. With regard to 1 it's been months since the install was completed and we're still not even connected to the grid nor is our system even turned on and now I'm making payments to both the power company AND the solar company- and they are now refusing to refund the payment even after I submitted proof of payment via the loan originators site with a confirmation number. With regard to 2, The installers came in, I took 2 days off work to allow them inside to install the conduit, and instead they plastered this big ugly silver conduit along the entire length of our home. Now we are having issues with the HOA because it's an "eyesore". So I asked them, to take it down and they refused. What's even worse, the original work order we signed with Ralph A. stated the conduit would be "hidden from site"- yet the final electronic contract had that statement removed. Lastly with regard to 3, they talked about all the solar credits we could obtain, however the amount that we really received after filing taxes was about $1000 dollars less, and the only way we could receive it is by paying fees to the local municipalities - which he also didn't mention. When dealing with Titan solar's customer service to try to get this rectified, they make promises and never keep them. I was willing to meet them half way and have them color match the conduit to the house and that still hasn't been done (weeks later). Also, they promised to submit for a final inspection 2-3 weeks ago, and when I called today, they hadn't even submitted the paperwork to my local municipalities. So we are no closer to having our system operating after months of waiting! In summary, this company has lied to our faces repeatedly, took our money, and provided the bare minimum level of service, and even less customer support with regard to correcting these issues. I'd highly recommend against using this solar company. I'm actually afraid if I need a repair service in the future- how many months will I have to wait for that?

Titan Solar Power I wish I could give this company a negative star

I wish I could give this company a negative star. I have lost faith in their business ethic and competence. The project seemed to proceed well until the solar panels were installed. Then the nightmare started. I kept calling the Titans customer service numerous times to let them know that my local electric company had connected the solar panels to the grid. I would have liked them to turn the system on. Nobody at Titan was aware that my solar panels were connected to the grid. The first customer care representative promised she would reach out to my electric company and change our project to finished. It never happened. I had to call again and speak to a representative who had to put me on hold and ask around every time I asked a question. I wanted to turn on the system. I finally received instructions on how to do it. The first problem I encountered was that there is no breaker for solar in my panel. It is a mystery. Calling Titans customer care did not help. The representative knew less than I do. Calling again we went with another representative through the steps and found on the system three lights: One solid blue, one green flashing and one red flashing. The customer care representative said that ideally (ad verbatim) the blue and green lights should be solid. She said to give the system some time. She would follow up with us the following day. Nobody bothered to call me the next day. According to two customer service representatives I was already using solar energy. I was happy and I wanted to see on the app how much solar energy my panels were producing. The app cannot find my solar system. This required another phone call to Titans customer service. This time the representative told me that our inverter was defective or gone bad. That person promised to send out a technician as soon as her team would be in. I asked her to please call back and let me know when a technician would stop by. No calls followed this conversation, no technician showed up to replace the inverter. It took another phone call to verify that the inverter needed really to be replaced. Nothing happened. After 2 weeks I called again on a Monday and miraculously I was told I was on Titans schedule for Friday of the same week. Since it had took me a whole month of phone calls, believing that I was using solar energy and receiving a regular *** from my electricity company with no savings from the solar system, I was not happy. The representative blamed my electric company which had not communicated to Titan that we were connected to the grid. What about my previous phone calls to inform Titan about the same? Was I lied to? I wanted to speak to a supervisor and not to a representative who seemed to give answers written in their manual. I was not put through to a supervisor, allegedly unavailable, nor was I allowed to be given the supervisors name, phone number or email address. The representative promised the supervisor would call me back and she would follow through with her supervisor to make sure I received a call. It was like pulling teeth, but I was given the representatives email address. Nothing happened. I am not holding my breath that anything will happen on Friday. I am also worried about my roof. Every time it rains I find granules from roof tile being washed down. I might have to pay for an engineer to inspect my roof, since I do not trust anything Titan does or installs. I regret choosing this company.

Titan Solar Power I have been scammed by Titan Solar Power and GoodLeap

I have been scammed by Titan Solar Power and GoodLeap. I was referred by my alarm company (Vivint) to Titan Solar Power to receive the "amazing benefits of solar power". I spoke with a salesperson (***) in June regarding expected monthly savings (on average $100-200/month), reviewed the paperwork, and proceeded with the installation process. I was informed that my electricity would primarily be powered by my solar panels, and that excess usage would be covered by *** EMC. The financing company for the solar unit is GoodLeap. The solar unit was installed in September, and I was told that the system needed to be inspected. In November, a representative from *** EMC notified me that the unit was not turned on, and for her to complete her testing, the unit needed to be on. I called Titan Solar Power, and they said they had to get clearance from *** EMC in order to turn the unit on. To attempt to resolve this issue, I placed the same *** EMC technician and Titan Solar Power on the same line. They discussed each company's "typical process" and where the discrepancy was. I was instructed by Titan that I would need to power the unit on, step-by-step on the phone.I made my first payment to GoodLeap on November 30th. I received my *** EMC statement that covered the month of November, and the *** was a typical *** for the month of November, which made me question if the solar panels were effective. I called Titan Solar Power to inform them that my November *** didn't seem to reflect input from the solar unit, and once we spoke about the unit not being turned "on" according to their typical timeline, I was told that I could be reimbursed for my November payment to Goodleap. I received a check for reimbursement. After several inspections/safety checks, the system was finally up and running on December 5th. I received my December statement from *** EMC, which also didn't seem to reflect input from the solar unit. I called Titan Solar Power and they informed me that I could not be reimbursed for December's payment to GoodLeap due to the unit considered functional as of December 5th. As you can imagine, I was livid. Not only did I have a $300 *** with *** EMC, but I was also supposed to be content with paying $180/month to Goodleap for a solar power unit that wasn't benefiting me?I eventually got fed up with calling Titan Solar Power and called once more to ask them to remove the solar unit all together due to it not being beneficial to me as proposed in the sales pitch. They stated that they were unable to remove the unit once it's installed, and that I'd need clearance from GoodLeap since they financed the equipment. Furious, I called GoodLeap, and was told that I needed to get the go ahead from Titan Solar Power.I called Titan Solar Power on January 11th, 2022, and was told by the representative that she would "investigate" the matter and I should receive a call within 2 days. She never called. On day 3, I sent her an email, no response.I called both Titan Solar Power and GoodLeap today (January 18th, 2022) and I was unable to speak with representatives from either company that were "assigned to my account". What a coincidence.I have had enough of lackluster customer service from both *** and GoodLeap, they've been scamming me and sending me on the run around since November.I am a single parent trying to stay above water, and these companies are preying on customers and lying to make sales while failing to deliver services.P.S.: I called Titan Solar Power today in an attempt to settle the matter and get rid of the solar unit altogether, and while on the phone being sent on the runaround per usual, the representative offered to email me documentation on the solar output. As I open the email, it states, "I would like to inform you that while running the PVWatt, I did notice the production output was lower than estimated and I have reached out to our monitoring department for further investigation". I've been told that a time or 2.Dont't waste your money, time or peace of mind. Got scam written all over it

Titan Solar Power I originally signed up with Titan Solar in the mid year of 2021

I originally signed up with Titan Solar in the mid year of 2021. And I have had numerous a red flags. My first red flag ? was after signing up my sales rep disappeared leaving me with no point of contact or any knowledge about installation and a start dates. My second red flag ? ? I came in when The sales reps promised me $1000 towards tree removal to better my solar energy (now other companies do allow allotment for tree removals so I was thinking that this was normal after doing my research.) After finally getting in contact with someone (2months later.) *** told me the sales rep left the company and didnt make any notes about tree removal. Red flag ? ? ? number 3 .Ok moving on. *** came out to install the Equipment which I had to takeoff for because equipment is only installed Monday through Friday and I work 9am-5pm (Monday-Friday) someone has to be at the residence. Well that didnt go smooth because they moved my install date 3 times without telling me meaning I had to take off work 3 different times and that was my Fourth ? . My fifth red flag ? ?came in when they couldnt finish the install because of Georgia Power needing to do something to check to see if everything was ok. My 6th red flag ? came in when they started drafting the monthly payment before the system wasnt even working. I called and complained and told them I was paying for a system that wasnt fully installed NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT! My 7th red flag ?came in when GP finally came out in Oct-Nov to do the witness test and they told me they was short on staff in the solar department Red flag number 8 ? but the whole time I was thinking I was going to eliminate my GP *** but I noticed I was still paying GP and Titans and has been doing so for 3 months my Initial was to save money. Now its January and I received a $60 GP *** for November-December on top of my Titan *** and I thought I was saving money but Im still spending more. That was my 8th red flag still having a light *** on top of the Titans ***. My 9th red flag ?came in when II called to complain and the rep told me that Ill never zero out my GP ***. That wasnt what the sales rep told me. He told me that if extra panels was needed it would be added. To off set your current light *** said no way! At this point I was total confused. My 10th red flag ?came in when I talked to the sales rep and they had me download this app to see my system usage. I Did and follow all the steps and after doing so my system wasnt even reporting my usage for the month or since it was first cleared by GP. I called the sales rep back to let her know that the app wasnt working and that we would need someone to come out to check the system My 11th red flag ?came in when I called back to see if someone could come out I left a message and no one has tried to contact me to do so it has been about two weeks and I really dont think theyre coming. Ive had To pay at least 3 to 4 months of payment before my system even was properly working. My 12th red flag ?came in when I just received another GP *** on top of my titans payment thats due this month. This company doesnt have it together. *** will lie deceive you out of your money trick you out of your time and leave you with the bunch of empty promises. Going solar is a good idea but just not with Titans. Maybe Sunpro or your local light *** company is the better way Togo. Other companies even gives your better Insensitive for signing up. Like a battery that will keep your lights on for a couple hours if your power goes off in your neighborhood. While this company will charge you *** thousand more for the battery. But the sales guy told me that I can still have power if there was an outage in my area which I come to find out you will need a battery for doing so BUT WASNT EXPLAINED TO ME IN THIS FASHION until after sign up. *** tried to offer me the battery after complaining about the poor communication and the misleading sales reps. *** did try to offer me a battery but geeesh Ive already had 10PLUS RED FLAGS and I surely dont want nothing else from this company. H I cant even see what my system is producing buy they can add on more money for a none functioning product that I cant see what its even doing. I really could probably stretch these red flags to 20 but Im so burned out with this company Im FRIED! ?

Titan Solar Power Solar panel contract

Titan Solar used Avolta as the company to shill there solar panels. They promised to pay six months of my electric bill and a few other things like tree trimming and thermostat. They held up there end on the trimming and thermostat. But I’ve been trying for months to get them to shell out the money for the 6 month electricity bill. I called titan several times and they have said they will reach out to Avolta it’s not there problem and they can’t do anything for me.

So today I looked up Avolta and see that they are no longer able to sell solar panels on several states because of predatory tactics. Titan should be held responsible to make it right. They had to have known that it was a problem at Avolta.

Desired outcome: For my six months of electricity to get paid. Or pull the panels off my house because they didn’t respect the contract.

I wish I could go lower on this rating. I decided to go with Titan Solar Power to install my solar system, after talking to five different companies. Their quote and promises seemed to fit my family needs. Since day one I have had nothing but problems. My first couple of bills were the same as the previous year, before I went solar. I was promised that I...

Titan Solar Power We entered into an agreement with Titan Solar Power on 8/29 to install solar panels on our house

We entered into an agreement with Titan Solar Power on 8/29 to install solar panels on our house. The estimated date of completion for the install was 1/26/22. Due to several delays, the project was not complete until March 17, 2022. On July 8, 2022 one of the power inverter boxes stopped working and on 7/26/22, the second power inverter stopped working. We contacted our "Energy Advisor" *** for resolution; however, were unsuccessful. We then contacted Titan Solar Power's corporate number. After several weeks, a technician came to check our equipment and determined we needed new inverter boxes. The Titan Solar employee stated that he would place the order. We waited the remainder of July, all of August, and all of September for new equipment, being told weekly that our equipment has yet to arrive at the facility. Finally in October we made several more phone calls, only to be told that our equipment had been at the facility for weeks. On 10/12/22 the new inverter boxes were installed and are now working. Unfortunately, we incurred tremendous costs as the customer, not only having to pay our full FPL bill during the hottest months in *** (July, August, September), but also the monthly payment for the solar panels that were not working due to no fault of our own. During the sales process, we were told that if the equipment failed, we would not be responsible for paying the solar panels nor our power bill since our solar panels generate enough power to operate our home without additional power supplied from the power company. Titan Solar has not complied with this portion of the agreement and what's worse, they refuse to take ownership for the sales person responsible for providing such information and refuse to take ownership for the delay in installing the new inverters that had been in the warehouse for weeks. The equipment sitting in the warehouse could have saved our family hundreds of dollars in electricity had it simply been installed.

Titan Solar shorted me solar panels, and my bill is unbelievably high for the past 4+ years. I either need more panels free of charge or take them down and get out of 20 year lease.

Solar system installed by Titan Solar has not produced electricity since 12/26/2022. The monitoring app Solar Edge has not had communication with solar panels since May 2022. I bought the home in August. APS confirmed to me that system is not producing electricity. Titan is insisting the problem lies with the connection between system and monitors due to 3g to 5g connection. Titan also told me they were aware of this back in May but did not do anything about it. Titan is claiming this is not their responsibility and the system is operating as it should, but the data is incorrect. If that was the case wouldn't APS tell me the units were working. *** told me they have not credited me for electricity since 12/26. All the while the loan company (GoodLeap) is hounding me for payments while the system is inoperable. I just want Titan to fix the issue, so I don't have loan payment and APS bill. Defeats the purpose of having solar. I would not have worked with Titan if it was up to me but since I bought the home, I am stuck with them.

This is the third time I've had to file a complaint with this company. I've reached out to Titan Solar numerous times with no response. It seem the only way to get a response is to file a complaint through the Complaintsboard.com. I've sent in information regarding a reimbursement for the month of November. Titan Solar responded to the complaint and explained they would send one out. I will now move further and keep this complaint on file. I will also post this complaint on Yelp and *** I've already done my work the first time and attached supporting documents. I'm sure the business could do their own research and find it. Original Message from 1/20/2023:I've attempted to reach out multiple times to the company about Novembers reimbursement and I have not got a response from anyone. Filing a complaint through the Complaintsboard.com seems to be the only way to get anyone's attention. This is my second time filing a complaint and I'm beyond frustrated. In the process of getting my reimbursement I would like it overnighted to me without having to wait 17 business days. Thank You!

Titan Solar Power As of July 2022, my $28,000 solar system has not been producing power

As of July 2022, my $28,000 solar system has not been producing power. I did not realize the issue until about August 2022. When I contacted Titan Solar (after waiting over an hour over the phone several times) I was promised a maintenance technician would come by and troubleshoot the problem. At the first visit, the technician stated it most likely is a panel but would need to reschedule an appointment because the technician needed assistance. After waiting another three weeks, the two technicians came back and informed me it was not the panels and most likely the inverter. I waited almost two months to receive notice the part came into the warehouse, and I had to make a formal complaint with a supervisor to finally get another appointment time. Last week, the technician finally came and immediately told me in surprise Solar Edge only provided the bottom part of the inverter. Of course, the part did not fix the issue, and the technician asked Solar Edge if the entire inverter can be sent next time around. I get it. There might be an issue with supply chain, but the lack of customer services by the company in unacceptable. Furthermore, why are not these technicians being supplied with "known working parts" to ensure what is being ordered will fix the issue(s). When I asked the technician why the company does not provide these "known" parts, the technician mentioned if there was a good part it would be installed for a customer. Fortunately, my *** bill is still only about $13 monthly. Obviously, the technician and the company are clueless on how to run a business. The system is about a year old, and I am already dealing with these issues. I am afraid every time there is an issue, I am going to have to wait months for resolve. If I had a choice at this point, I would take off the panels if I can at least get the remaining balance paid for. Believe you me, the $3k already paid into the system is worth the education. Do not fall for these tactics.

We signed a contract with Titan Solar Power on May 22nd for the installation of the solar panels on our roof, still today( February 14th 2023) the photovoltaic panels are on the ground. In the beginning of the instalation they (Titan) wrongly drilled holes in the roof causing roof leaks in several areas of the roof. It took us a very long and stressfull time to get the roof fixed, this has been going on for over a year. Finally 2 weeks ago the roof was fixed but the panels are not yet on the roof. The original agreement was to start paying the loan when the panels are producing electricity which they are not. We had to start paying the loan on May 2022 since we were informed by the lender that it would go to collection if we don't pay. Titan Solar Company reimbursed us from May through Semptember 2022 and after that we have not received any reimbursement. The only information they have giving us is that the reimbursement requests were submitted and pending approval. Today they told us that they won't reimburse us for the months of October, November, December, January and soon February because permission to operate (PTO) was already given. We were not informed that we had PTO till today. Even today(February 14th 2023) still panells are not on the roof. We demand the reimbursement for each month we have paid for the amount of $229. A total of $ 916 for 4 months plus $229 for February. Thank you so much for our assistance.

This company assured me that I would receive a significant tax refund due to my use of solar power. They also claimed that my electricity bill would be substantially reduced, considering I was previously paying $140.00 per month. Contrary to their promises, my monthly payments increased after the solar system installation. Furthermore, they attempted to charge me additional monthly payments for the loan to purchase the panels. They had also committed to providing me with five years' worth of energy-saving light bulbs and to upgrade my control system to enhance the energy efficiency of my central air and heater. Unfortunately, none of these promises were fulfilled. As a result of my refusal to pay for a system that did not deliver as promised by their salesperson, my credit score has been negatively affected. I have requested that they reclaim the system, yet they are demanding a substantial fee for its removal. I find it unjust that they exploit consumers in this manner.

Titan solar caused a roof leak in my home during installation of our solar panels. This issue took over 6 months to resolve and required myself the customer to maintain constant contact with multiple parties to coordinate completion. The final solution resulted in movement of the original configuration on my roof. This move subsequently left the relocated panel unsecured which resulted in total failure. We contacted Titan solar on October 5th and they acknowledged the need to reinstall the panel. To date, Titan has not provided a service date to complete the required warranty-based repair and we can no longer gain response from the responsible parties. We have now communicated in writing that Titans response falls outside of a reasonable time to respond. This failure has resulted in increased electrical payments that would otherwise not occur with a fully functioning system. We are not looking for compensation but we are looking to be made 100% whole on our initial investment within the contractual obligations Titan required us to sign. Please help us hold this company accountable to at minimum respond in less than 130 days.

At the middle of June 21 we signed the documents to get our solars, we apply with the finance company few days before, the sales person told us it will take 1 to 2 months to have our solars running, well it is been more than 4 months and going for the the 5th month on the 16th of November.Titan never answer my call, never, I have been on the phone for hours and always gets disconnected, now the sales person doesnt work for Titan anymore and seems like no one can help us, I have sent an email on Octobre 20th expressing my frustrations and the person on the email said he can not help me because he was not involved in my sale ? So no one knows anything no one can help me? *** energy rejected my application due to the negligence of this company, *** in the first place never had the documents they need, so how in world they install the solar without having everything in order ? The finance is under my husband's name and the bill from *** energy is under my name, we knewall of this since the beginning of July, I have sent all documebts to , and TITan was supposed to have a green light from them that everything was good to go, but Titan 12 days ago sent me an email to sign to add my husband on the *** energy when everything was done almost 3 months ago? As soon as the 1st rain fell after the panels were installed water leaked into the house. They tried to say I did not allow them into the crawlspace. Since there is no crawlspace and they were showed that they changed their story. I have tried since march last year 2022 to get them to fix it. I GOT NO REPLY no matter if it was the loan company, the sales agent or any emails and phone calls to their company. Three months ago approximately I finally called *** Radio show and got the Atlanta Main phone number as well as a POC in the Secy of States office. They have come out and took photos and now no replies to my texts. It is pouring water and now the ceiling light fixtures are catching fire / shorting out. There are what looks to be bolt holes showing up in sheet rock from the panels and it is ruining the floors and tables. It needs to be fixed asap.

From day one of getting solar installed on my house it has been a complete unprofessional disaster. Here is a list of things this useless company has done to me in the last 8 months-1: Told us we'd get over $20,000 back in tax credit. NOT TRUE. Went and got my taxes done, and we get nothing in our pocket as promised and expected. 2: Waited 3 months for them to install the panels, then they didn't turn them on for 3 more months. 3: I was paying the solar loan, and my full electric bill for a total of $500-$600 a month, for 3 months because the solar was not turned on. (they did eventually refund me the loan payment for the months the system wasn't on) 4: There was three leaks in my roof after getting installed. After over a month of the claim being submitted, they finally had someone come out to "fix" it. We were told they were fixed, then next time it rained, water was dripping onto my floor from my celling where the leak was, Called and put in another complaint. *** later they had someone else come fix it again. They workers told us the issue needs to be fixed by an actual roofer and they will have to contact another company for them to come fix it. I then get a call stating " now the leaks are fixed we have to come repair inside your house" I had to explain to the lady that they were in fact not fixed, and restated what I was told by the workers. The lady had no idea at all what was going on. THIS COMPANY DOES NO COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER. She called me again the next day stating basically, the leak is going to be fixed the same was it was fixed the first time and they will have the people come out to do it. I had to tell her, "no you need to contact the people that came to my hose and talk to them because that is not what I was told needs to happen. " she then stated to me that she needs to have the repairs manager contact me because they are confused. (out of characters, stay tuned for part 2. )

(part 2)4:after fighting for 3 months to get it turned on, I have now had 2 months on this system. During those 2 months I have paid a $200 electric bill and a $300 electric bill ON TOP of the over $200 a month loan for the solar. I am paying more monthly for solar than I did for just electric. I was told this was going to save us money and that we would have little to no electric bill with this system. SO not only am I going into even more debt by not being able to out the tax return onto the loan as I was told I could do, I am now paying more monthly, and it is just going to go up even more after the first year with the loan because I didn't out the $20,000 down for it because I am not getting that money!5:this company took months to get my system turned on because they wouldn't get everything done in one or even 2 visits. They had to come out multiple times to get the panels on, and the system installed on the side of my house. They had to come out again to put labels on. Again to put a fake meter in.. again to run the tests, and literally multiple other times to do one tiny little thing.(as they were already months past getting it turned on when they stated it would be)Nothing they did makes any sense and when we'd call them out on it they would have nothing but excuses that weren't even valid to the issue. No one knew anything that was going on, no one had any reason for why my system was not on when it should have been. No one with this company talks to each other. No one puts notes in on their side for others to open and see what's going on. We were finally told it was ready, we went to turn it on ourselves because they did not help us, and it wouldn't turn on. Had to contact them again and they had no idea what was wrong. 2 weeks later someone come out to fix and the wires inside weren't out in right. It is one thing after the next with this place. There's so much more I can say, that stuff isn't even a dent into my issues I have had. Such a regret.

On 8/23/22, I signed a contract with Titan Solar. On 11/29/22 29 panels were installed on my home. We began producing electricity 11/30/22, which lasted until 12/28/22. On 12/29/22, they were inoperable. I called on 1/4/23. No answer and no option to leave a message. I called the sales representative and left a message. No answer. I called another number and left a message. No call back. I called the contractor and was told that someone would call me that day or by the close of business the next day. No call back. I then contacted a representative and was given the number to the Regional Branch Manager. I did call and left 3 messages. Eventually I got through and was assured that a diagnostic might fix the problem. After calling again, on 1/6/23, I requested to follow the case service coordinator, but no phone information given. At this time, I was informed that we might need a new inverter and said that it would be 2-3 weeks from that date 1/10/23. We began producing power again 1/10/23. On 1/16/23, we lost power again. I attempted to call and was not able to get through. I left multiple messages with no call back. I called my Regional Branch Manager and the phone had been disconnected. On 1/19/23, I was able to get through to a representative, and was told that we need a new inverter. At this time I voiced my unhappiness was referred to the Resolutions Team that would call back within *** hours. I've heard nothing. Todays date is 2/14/23 and I still do not have power, I have not heard anything from Titan Solar. I have paid for 3 months and have received only 35 days of power total. I cannot continue to pay for solar panels that do not work. I need compensation for days that my solar panels have not worked and my panels fixed or they can remove them from my roof and I want out of this contract entirely. In the event that the latter be chosen, my roof needs to be replaced due to the damage removal will cause.

Titan Solar Power Avolta advised me that they worked with Georgia Power in the solar panel roof installation process

Avolta advised me that they worked with Georgia Power in the solar panel roof installation process. They further advised me that the solar panels cannot be installed without my roof being repaired and they would handle it. They advised me that the roof would be covered in the entire cost of the solar panel installation but in the end, my *** denied the project and the solar panels can no longer be installed. Avolta however did not wait to receive approval from the *** before repairing the roof, a service they subcontracted from Dr. *** Dr. *** claims that they did not have an understanding with Avolta regarding the payment of the roof and that I signed the contract agreeing to pay. There is a contract, but I was advised by Avolta that they would cover the cost of the roof in the overall cost, and I wouldn't be responsible for any immediate payment. Only payment of the loan they would afford me. Dr. *** began harassing me a few months later for the money and once they didn't receive the payment, they illegally placed a lien on my home. I believe I was duly scammed by both companies. I would like to have this lien removed and have Avolta resolve the payment issue with Dr. *** If this does not happen, I will have to take legal steps in order to resolve this issue. I would also like to report both companies for poor business practices because they do NOT fully apprise clients of what is expected of them financially when they do not receive approval to complete the project. Dr. *** did not speak to me directly regarding roof installation. They spoke to an Avolta rep, then tried to behave as if they do not know the company Avolta when they started harassing me for money. I do believe both these companies are in cahoots to get clients to be financially obligated to either of these companies and must be stopped from doing this to other people. As shown in the email, Dr. *** sent an email to *** from Avolta then I was later coerced to sign contract by

This is an ongoing problem since March 2022. A complaint with Complaintsboard.com has been previously filed. The Titan Solar contract was signed electronically, without the opportunity to read it thoroughly. It specified that installation would occur within 60 days. However, after the 60-day period, the loan company began debiting my bank account, and cancellation was not an option. The panels were not operational until September 26, 2022. Following my complaint, they were installed on my roof but were overshadowed by a large tree, which was a misrepresentation of the service I was promised. I was led to believe that I would no longer have to pay my electric provider and that my only expense would be the monthly loan payment of $173. Yet, my last bill included a $455 charge from the electric company in addition to the $173 loan payment, with only a $33 solar credit applied. There was no mention of a backup battery, and I have since discovered that the solar panels do not function during power outages. At 84 years old and relying solely on Social Security for income, this situation is distressing. I have been in contact with a representative from Titan, who sends me an email every two or three weeks claiming to be working with a team to reposition the panels. Despite over 50 emails with the same message, there have been no results. I feel that this entire transaction was fraudulent and that the salesman grossly misrepresented the product and services. He assured me that he would be present throughout the entire process, yet I have not seen or heard from him since March 2022. My next step is to reach out to the state attorney general for assistance.

We signed our contract with Titan July 2022.We have been paying Goodleap solar payments since September 2022.It is FEBRUARY 2023 and the unit has yet to be turned on. ?Wait for this. Wait for that. They (eventually) take culpability. But only after chasing them down, weeks in between appointments, and smoke screens to cover up the poor performance and lack of professionalism. Run far away from this company far far away! Or you too could be waiting 3 months for a bracket to arrive in the mail! ?

Titan solar sold a solar project at a significant cost and the project has done nothing but add a loan payment to my already existing electric bill. When they sold us the project, we were told there would be tax incentives, not merely credits, which is actually the case. We have not been able to utilize these credits as we haven't owed any taxes.

We were also informed that the project would cover our whole house plus a furnace, dryer, and stove that we didn't yet have and still don't. They further claimed that if we were to receive an electric bill, they would pay it. They promised that since the system hadn't been functioning, we would be entitled to reimbursement. However, they later backtracked by stating it has been too long since the initial payment, even though we have contacted them monthly attempting to resolve the issue. Each time we called, they assured us that someone would be sent within 24 to 48 hours, but they never followed through.

When they installed the system, the electric company had to correct their mistakes. They damaged our brand new walls during the installation and never repaired them. To make matters worse, it took them three months to activate the system and they stated we only had three days to cancel after installation. If the system wasn't even operational, how were we supposed to know within three days that it wasn't working and that we wanted to cancel? I am extremely dissatisfied with this company and would not recommend their services to anyone, not even to someone I dislike.

We signed for solar installation in September 20, 2022 and were told it would take 2-3 months to install and 2-3 months to activate the system. We are four and a half months in and company has not even submitted for a permit yet. Thats crazy. I called and was told that the permitting department has been dealing with corrections for the past 2 1/2 months. How can a solar company tell customers they will be installed, but after four months still do not even have the permit submitted. I called the sales person who is trying to get the company to expedite my project. No response from the company or anyone that can escalate and expedite my project. I dont wanna cancel because the Solar program is changing but I need someone at Titan solar to call me get this permit submitted, repair the roof, upgrade my main panel, and install the solar panels. And I need that all done within the next 60 days. I dont like to put in complaints, but Ive given the company for months just to let me know when theyre going to come out and actually get the work done. I expect a phone call back and for this issue to get resolved in a timely manner. If the company can get this back on track, thats the only reason I am filing this complaint. Just to be heard and get this fixed.

Titan Solar Power We have having nothing but issues with the Titan Solar ever since it was installed back in June 2022

We have having nothing but issues with the Titan Solar ever since it was installed back in June 2022. Communication has been horrible. Controller did not work for the first three months and could not get someone to come out to fix it. We at first was not able to get a hold of anyone. Once we did it took weeks for someone to come out. Once they came out and got the system running it went out hours after they left. This happened a few times and having to wait weeks for someone to come out again. this all through text since no one answers the phone at Titan. Once they replaced the controller it worked again for a few hours and down again. weeks went bye again. They sent someone out again and found invertors were bad on the solar panels causing the system to fail. they bypassed the panels and the system came on. They of course did not have any on the truck. So weeks went by again. finally my i got a number to a guy named *** who somewhat helped. But again communication was horrible. They sent out a crew that finally found that three optimizers were down on three solar panels. They did not have any optimizers on the ruck so they had to bypassed the panels. So again we had to wait to get a date for theme to come out. *** later again after complaining they sent out a crew that had no idea why they were there and had no optimizers. Again i got very upset and maintained my cool. *** later someone else came out and again they had no idea why they came. No optimizers. this was around Christmas time. I lost it. I lost it. I could not believe this was happening. Communication was so bad. I can only text this *** his voicemail is always full. They finally came out and fixed the optimizers a week later but I could not see them working on my app. he assured me they were working. I said they are not. I can see the other ones working. We are still paying on electrical all thought the bill is less. System is down today. We paid 50K for this. We need help. I have texts.

Titan Solar Power I signed a solar contract on 10/15 with a company

I signed a solar contract on 10/15 with a company. I ordered a solar system with a Tesla battery. I was told that the system would be installed by March 2022 at the latest. I paid for the city permitting on 11/22. I called the company and was informed that Titan Solar needed to renew their building permit. It turned out they hadn't renewed their building license with Mesa County for panel installation. I spoke with a company representative who left me a message on 3/23/2022, indicating that they had contacted Titan Solar multiple times without a response. I forwarded the voicemail to the company, urging them to escalate the issue. The system was finally installed on 5/27/2022 and required city inspection, followed by the power company's installation of the net meter. Titan's crew made multiple trips due to oversights and installation errors. The receptionist at Titan could not provide updates on the repairs. The final corrections were scheduled for 9/7/2022, pending inspection for the net meter installation. On 10/18/2022, I was told Titan had not updated their application to include the battery or completed the necessary online paperwork for city inspection approval. On 10/25/2022, I learned of a new coordinator at the company. The process has taken over a year, causing financial loss due to inefficiency. The lack of communication and resolution offers has been frustrating. Despite paying for the system since August, it is still not operational.

Titan Solar Power I'm an 83-year-old widow that lives alone

I'm an 83-year-old widow that lives alone. I moved into my home on *** in December . I am a quadruple bypass patient and pacemaker, I'm also going blind in my right eye, under the doctor's care. I can not read the small print. Feb/March 2022 timeframe Ms. (Titan Solar Rep) knocked on my door, she stated she promised to show me a solar plan so that I could save money on my electric ***. *** promised I would only have to pay 35/39 dollars a month, promised to fix the large crack on my cement driveway and not charge me anything. She visited everyday and brought a male (said it was her brother). I had them call my daughter and explain the program. My daughter told them no, the plan was not beneficial for me as I was already on an *** budget plan and credit built up with my APS budget plan. ***(Titan Solar) continued to come to my home. The last time *** came to my home, she took pictures of my checkbook. At that time I told her "not to do anything with my information because I was planning to sell my property and was going to have my daughter assist in talking to the *** (Titan Solar) stated, "you don't need to wait for your daughter I can go and talk with them and I will be back and tell you what they said". As she left my home I told her "please do not do anything with my information because I plan on selling my property" ***(Titan Solar) left what she said was her phone number *** took pictures of my banking info, SSN, and said she'd return, I tried to contact her many times in March, April, and May at the number she left, never an answer, never returned my calls, I went out of town to stay with my daughter during May. I returned back to my home in *** on Sunday 29 May, there were solar panels installed, letter received from Goodleap LLC *** saying I owed $21,625 with a balloon after 18 months.

Titan Solar Power Initial Contract with Ethos/Titan Solar for Home Roof Panels

To Whom It May Concern, on November 9th, I first entered into contract with Ethos/Titan Solar to place panels on the roof of my home. My sales contact assured me that the panels would be installed and operational by 12/31. Since then, I have had to enter into four new revised contracts (five total) with Ethos/Titan Solar due to on-the-job changes. They attempted to sell more panels than my roof could support. The mockups and design plans included solar panels that would be shaded by trees. Ethos/Titan Solar frequently requested payment for plans, sometimes before I had seen any approved version. I received an email from a former employee suggesting the company was operating without a license, a claim I couldn't independently confirm. It took an additional 530 days before the panels were installed on my home. Throughout this period, I struggled to communicate with the company through my sales contacts or any other means. I eventually requested to only receive email updates. A new representative took over my account, apologizing for delays and promising swift completion, yet exhibited the same poor communication and unfulfilled promises as the previous contact. After installation, communication worsened. The panels have been inoperative on my roof since mid-June. Ethos/Titan Solar blames PG&E for the delays, but PG&E has been waiting for updated installation plans since January. Ethos/Titan Solar offered to help with my power bill but only sent a $150 gift card, while my bills exceed $300 monthly. The contract with Ethos/Titan Solar is set to be void by December 4th, 270 days after the last contract was completed.

Titan Solar Power In September Titan solar completed my $44K solar system and wasn't turned on until November

In September Titan solar completed my $44K solar system and wasn't turned on until November. As of noon 9-20-22 my inverter has gone bad and I have no solar production on a system that is not even a year old. I contact them on 9-20-22 and was told it would be replaced in 24 to 72hrs but after reading other peoples issues I decided not to give them a chance to push me to the side. I called on 9-22-22 and was informed that I was emailed and when I checked there were NO emails from Titan. After expressing my frustration with the situation I was told to get more info from SOLAREDGE who makes the inverter. After contacting SOLAREDGE I was informed that there was a *** on it yet I never received any call or information from customer service. I asked if *** can pull from stock and replace with *** part and SOLREDGE said it was there choice but yes they could. With still no contacted from Titan SVC I called today and was told I could be without solar for 3-5 Weeks because they do not hold stock of inventers and wait for the *** part and another email was sent to me which actually was. After expressing how unacceptable this is I was finally contacted by Titan SVC. who confirmed the above statement and was told they do not hold stock for service. After telling them this is unacceptable and there customer service ***. As I asked how can they do new installs if they do not have stock, I was told new install have there own stock and they will not pull from there to take care of there existing customers. I was then told she is just doing her job and upper management can deal with this case. FACT IS TITAN IS MORE CONCERN ABOUT GETTING NEW INSTALLS BECAUSE IT PAYS MORE THAN TAKING CARE OF THERE CUSTOMERS. NOW I AM PAYING FULL ELECTRIC WHILE TRYING TO KEEP MY DEMAND DOWN AND PAY FOR A DEAD SOLAR SYSTEM. Loosing 40K watt production ever day because of poor customer service and 3.5 hrs of phone time to see the *** of Titan Solar and lack of concern for customers.

Titan Solar Power We have been waiting since August for our battery backup installation

We have been waiting since August for our battery backup installation. *** with Titan solar has failed to keep us informed and lied to us on several occasions regarding the status of our order. He had us sign the paperwork and processed our loan in which we are now having to make payments for a battery backup that we do not have installed. He assured us, prior to signing the documents that he had double and triple checked the size battery we needed was in stock. When we reached out to him regarding an installation date he advised he was pending approval from our HOA. Once we received an email from HOA about our approval we contacted *** stated we were still pending approval with the city. Once we received notification that the city permit was approved we again reached out to ***. This time he advised us the battery we needed and ordered was not in stock. We asked what happened to the battery he advised us was in stock before we signed the loan documents, he stated those were the wrong size. To date, we have no update on the status of our battery backup. We have no proof the correct size has been ordered and he has failed to return our phone calls and text messages. *** is getting ready to have a huge storm that *** result in power loss. When we initially signed on with Titan solar we were promised to be up and running before 2022 storm season. I expressed the importance of needed back up power due to my father who is recovering from a stroke. *** assured me we would be fully installed and educated us on going with the largest size possible so all of my fathers medical equipment could run for days without failure in case of an outage. The only reason we agreed to proceed with titan was based on the promise that we would have power for my father and his medical needs. I am beyond frustrated and saddened at the customer service I have received. *** website indicates they honor commitment with integrity and communication clear expectations!

Titan Solar Power I am filing a customer complaint against *** Company for poor customer service and professionalism

I am filing a customer complaint against *** Company for poor customer service and professionalism. After reading some of the other complaints list on this website, Im disappointed I did not do a bit more research on this company prior to signing my contract. Titan Solars customer service and professionalism is poor at best. We signed our contract on 26 September and as of 21 September 2022 our system is still not operational. I initially accepted part of the nearly 6-month delay on installation was due to supply chain management issues beyond Titan Solars control but when I attempted to call or text representatives throughout this period to receive a status no one would return my calls or inquiries on the status of my project. The lack of professionalism is a direct result of the customer care actions to get your system operational. In June 2022, yes 9 months after we signed our contract, we finally received materials to begin installation of our panels. The first inspection with the *** after panels and power box installation failed due to grounding rod not being properly installed. The follow-up inspection with the *** took two weeks to complete because our representative failed to schedule the follow-up inspection on the corrected deficiencies with the grounding rod. Beginning in July we waited another month to get the *** to inspect only to fail again for not submitting complete pictures of our panel installation which is required by Titan Solar installation personnel to pass the Citys inspection process. As of today 22 September 2022 (nearly a year from signing my contract) we are pending reinspection by CPS (San *** energy company) who has now failed my system for incorrect meter installation and faulty connections. All that said we are now paying both CPS for our energy bill and the finance company for our loan going on two months since August 15th 2022.

Titan Solar Power Initial payment to Titan of $2000 was made on 9/30, followed by a payment on November 12.

An initial payment to Titan of $2000 was made on 9/30. A subsequent payment occurred on November 12, after the solar panels were installed on the roof. We owe Titan approximately $15,000, which will remain unpaid until they complete the installation. During the first installation attempt, electricians arrived but could not proceed as the panel installation crew was absent without notice. Titan corporate failed to inform us about the delay. The second attempt resulted in the panels being mounted on the roof and partial wiring, but the electricians lacked the necessary tools to finish the job. The third attempt saw most electrical components installed; however, Titan did not foresee that the house's old wiring, from an unspecified era, would require a junction box to connect the solar power to the breaker box. This has led to the need for new plans and permits, as well as coordination with Georgia Power for a safe installation. Post-second attempt, we have received invoices falsely stating the installation is complete and demanding payment. We contacted a customer service manager who promised to oversee the project but has since been unresponsive. Titan's inability to predict requirements and provide skilled installers has completely undermined our trust in their competence. We've missed out on 2021's tax incentives and at least five months of potential savings from reduced electricity usage, assuming the panels are functional. Concerns about future service issues also loom.

Titan Solar Power October agreement with a salesperson from Avolta Power for solar panel installation

In October , we entered into an agreement with a salesperson from Avolta Power to have solar panels installed on our home. On February 22, 2022, Titan Solar Power came to install the panels but could not finish, leaving the 26 panels leaning against my home with a promise to return the next day. On March 11, 2022, I emailed Titan Solar Power and the salesperson from Avolta to express my dissatisfaction and cancel the project. I received a call from Partner Relations offering a 12-month credit and a new completion date. The panels were installed the following week but were not functional. On March 28, 2022, I was informed that a main panel upgrade was needed at an additional cost of $12 monthly, which I declined as this was not mentioned initially. No progress was made until May 9, 2022, when a workaround was attempted by Titan, installing a 150-watt breaker. The system remained nonfunctional, and on May 10, I heard a loud noise from the breaker box but got no response from Titan. On June 15, 2022, representatives from Titan acknowledged the noise during a final inspection but offered no solution. An electrician visited on June 20, 2022, with no resolution. On June 22, 2022, I was asked for a picture of the breaker box. I am still reliant on the grid and paying for nonfunctional solar panels, while Titan Solar has not fulfilled their contractual obligations.

Titan Solar Power Issues with contracted solar power project and unresponsive design team

The problem arose with a contracted solar power project through the lead designer at Solar Surge. We had an agreement with them for solar services. At the time, the individual was a sales contractor for a solar power company. The original project code was DRG, and the plan was to add a battery backup to my residence. The project, which started in October , was delayed until May 2022 due to COVID. When the installation began, field installers informed me that the system would not meet my needs as initially discussed. Working with the company has been completely unacceptable in resolving the issue. I reached out to the planner, who suggested adding two more batteries to match the first contract's battery, offering a discount on each. The cost would be significant, and this would complete the initial contract, which was non-operational at the time. This discussion took place in June 2022. I have invested a substantial amount in this addition to an existing solar system, which was functioning correctly before the addition of batteries. The system was paid for in cash. Despite repeated attempts to contact all parties involved, including emails to headquarters and conversations with customer service, there has been no resolution. Since October 20, 2022, there has been no response. On October 19, 2022, installers arrived with only one battery, contrary to the order, so no work was done. They returned the next day with two batteries, but they were incorrect.

Titan Solar Power We were consulted on solar on or around Nov-Dec 2021

We were consulted on solar on or around Nov-Dec 2021. At that time we were told by *** that our system would be installed and operational around March 2022. Titan came and has yet to complete the job. They used sub-contractors who left trash, metal piping in our gutters, and had a electrician use a claw hammer to remove brick from the house rather than a *** grinder which left the brick jagged and sloppy looking. Since our roof was metal they had to come back and place specific brackets according to them. The roofing contractor came out and removed some panels and roof caps and bent the others to access plywood to anchor. Our roof is like 16 gauge steel and not designed to be ***. We paid approximately $40,000 for this lifetime roof, but now its showing signs of leaking in the crawl spaces. Titan said they would water test, but that never happened. They also killed my grass when the roofer left the solar panels on the grass and the sun burnt it. When the roof was removed I picked up several screws left by the roofers around our pool area. New in-ground pool liners are costing about ***. We also completed a remodel of our home in 2021, and Titan cut holes in our walls and we have asked several times for this to be repaired but we have never heard anything back. Our sales rep is local and she will not even respond. I have no confidence in this company and want all work to stop, but they said Im legally obligated. Ive been contacted by a group seeking class action from ***, but since Im located in *** Im not sure of how that works so Ive left an email and message with *** AG *** office and hope to have some feedback soon. This company has even started taking money out of my bank account and the work is not even passed inspection. They have at least returned these funds; Although, I have not cashed the check because Im not sure I should and have sought legal advice. I just all work stopped and equipment removed & roof repaired.

Titan Solar Power On 03/22 I contacted Titan H3130393935343532H about a leak from a H3334333938373231H panel

On 03/22, I reached out to Titan H3130393935343532H regarding a leak from a H3334333938373231H panel. They set an appointment for 03/23 between 12pm-4pm with a reference number. No one appeared, coinciding with a snowfall. Titan arrived on 03/24, by which time the leak had worsened into a hole due to the snow, situated between panels where water collected. The crew applied caulking to a screw, promising a water test if no leakage occurred, suggesting their installation might be at fault. After no follow-up, I sought a second opinion from a roofing company, which identified the source of the leak as an improperly sealed bracket under a H3334333938373231H panel. Contacting H3334333938373231H, they denied warranty coverage, citing the hole. On 03/28, I spoke with a Titan representative who dispatched another crew on 03/29. They conducted a water test by lifting shingles and directing water towards my skylight, ignoring my request to inspect beneath their panels. They dismissed the previously caulked screw as a non-issue. The same day, the representative claimed the leak was from the skylight, which I disputed. He promised a callback after further investigation. I contacted another roofer who confirmed the leak's origin as Titan's H3334333938373231H panel. With no response from Titan and my calls unreturned, a third roofer on 04/14 also attributed the roof leak to Titan's H3334333938373231H. Titan is not upholding the warranty for their product. Their installation has led to a leak causing damage to the roof, insulation, and deck, all supposedly warranted with the H3334333938373231H panel purchase.
