I wish I could go lower on this rating. I decided to go with Titan Solar Power to install my solar system, after talking to five different companies. Their quote and promises seemed to fit my family needs. Since day one I have had nothing but problems. My first couple of bills were the same as the previous year, before I went solar. I was promised that I would be 75% off the grid. They told me that I would be paying around $30.00 to $50.00 dollars a month. This was the first lie. I am still paying around the same or more for solar then before I got it. Plus, I am paying for the loan of the panels.

They told me that I would get $10 thousand back from the government, and if I put that down on the loan then my payments would stay low. What they do not say is that you can only claim one half a year. So, I could never put the money down on the loan. This is the second lie.

Every time I called them to ask about why I am not getting what I was promised, they put the blame on SRP or someone else. I contacted SRP multiple times to make sure I was on the correct plan, and they told me that I am on the correct one. They stated that everything was set up by Titan. I have called Titan numerous times and I get the same run around. One person I talked to even said that “you are getting what you paid for because 50+50+50 over the year equals 75%.” To me that does not make sense. I was also told that it is 70% yearly but it is producing is 50% during the summer which I also do not understand why this is.

I started to investigate my contract and realized that they scammed me. So, if you look up what is Fair Value Cost of Solar Panels per Watt in Arizona you will see that it is around $2.50 per watt, including labor and materials. They charged me $5.50 per watt. I know that this is not against the law; however, it is still unethical. If they are willing to do this, then what else are they willing to do? I will continue to investigate my contract. I am attaching three links for your convenience about the fair value of solar watt in Arizona. I am also attaching my August bills for the last three years.

Desired outcome: Give me what I was promised.
