Love this app. It is elegantly made, easy to use, and presents an elegant and beautiful signature that allows your correspondents to easily contact you, network with you, and read your published material via those cool link buttons. The ability to add photos and avatars from my Touch photo library is awesome. Get this app. And if you have questions and concerns, as I did, you'll find that this developer actually cares about his customers and answers emails quickly.

This is a good app and quite thorough. I only wish three things of it:

1. That you could arrange the texts fields yourself (primary and secondary locations.)
2. That you could choose a size for your header/footer image.
3. You could attach a link to your avatar image. (like header image)

My avatar/logo is short and long, so it would be better to have my primary text box underneath it. The header image is much too large to use for my logo placement. It's overpowering.

YOU CANNOT SEND ATTACHMENTS WHILE USING THIS APP. IT WILL STRIP THE ATTACHMENT BUT YOU WILL NOT BE AWARE THAT IT IS DOING THIS.
t's not this app's fault, but you cannot use it when you want to either send or forward an attachment with a signature from this app.
The iPhone Mail program STRIPS the attachment and leaves a "ghost" icon in it, and the recipient can not open the file.
I HAVE SPOKEN WITH THE DEVELOPER SOME TIME AGO, AND WITH APPLE... NEVER THE TWAIN SHALL MEET.

This  Application is the only one out there that does what it's supposed to, I got it since day one that they put it in the App Store and I totally recommend it--
One think I would like to do is to be able to customize my own icon (like my own picture and or logo).

This is not a game but a profesional Application.

Great app for email signatures however: 1. You cannot assign signatures to email accounts. 2: In order to add your signature you either have to launch this app first, choose a signature which then opens mail client and then switch which account to send from. Or open mail, then leave mail and open signature pro and choose a signature. This app creates to many extra steps to be taken to send an email. Wish someone posted these issues before I purchased. Great content and layout POOR implementation.

This app is just what I needed! I was disappointed at first until I discovered I could indeed assign a signature to each email account I have. Granted, it's a drawback that I have to do it manually, but I suspect that is because of the way Apple currently has things set up. I understand changes are afoot for how Apple will handle different email accounts in their next release. Hopefully, that will allow some positive changes in this program as well. At the moment I still think it's worthy of five stars.

This is a very helpful app if you send emails from different email accounts as I do. It works seamlessly, but only as a separate app, which means that you need to start creating your email from the Email Signature Pro app.

There are a few things that would make it better.

a. Embed this in the Mail app so that I can associate a signature with the particular email account that I'm using. Otherwise, I have to go to this app, and start my email from there.
b. Landscape mode is not available on the iPad. This is a simple fix, and should be done right away.

First ill say that YES you do have to open the app for the signature BUT it opens fast and after using it a couple of times you will see its simple to do this "extra" step. Apple is the one who limits certain things you can do with email apps.Bottom line is this app is well done and easy to set-up. It walks you through each step & lets you check the links you add right there. And of course it makes a really nice signature that gets noticed. I give it a 5 instead of a 4 because too many gave it 1 or 2 stars and thats an unfair rating for such a nice app.

I've noted the proposed changes for the next version -- all of which would address the issues I have with the current version.The result looks very good when viewed in the iPhone mail or in Mac's mail program. However, in Outlook, there is no space between the right edge of the picture and the beginning of the text and the text defaults to Times Roman, and each of the icons contains a blue box indicating the icon is clickable -- the result is not good. These are all simple html issues that should be easily addressed, unless Outlook is too out of sync with html.

Ok- for $4.99 I was expecting a little more.

Firstly, it is not integrated into the mail program.

If you want to insert the signature, you MUST have the app open, then it will paste into the email you are sending.

I was hoping that it would automatically do that for my base signature.

I also think the hyper-link icons below the signature are way to small. Perhaps give an option to make them larger?

Over all, it does insert a signature, and the links do work.

I will play around with it more, but would like to also use on my iPhone as well. I hope that's not another charge.

I don't understand all the poor reviews. Been using on my iPad for months. Never a crash. This app creates beautiful signatures and let's you create and save 6 different ones. I have even exported my signatures to use in Outlook on my desktop! Sure, you have to start in the app to grab a signature before you compose an email. With OS4.2 you can leave mail, grab a signature and go back to mail without losing the message you're composing. This app works precisely as described. I could not imagine email on my iPad without it. A must have app for anyone who wants to create fantastic signatures for email.

I have had this app for awhile and before the update to IOS4, I had given it 5 stars. It has become too cumbersome to use now that you have to copy and paste the signature to your email. There are just too many steps just to insert the signature unlike before where it was very simple. I really do hope the developer finds a better solution to insert the signature with IOS4 in the near future. Prior to the update it was an awesome app. It's an okay app now. Even though it is cumbersome to copy and paste a signature, it's still cool to customize email signatures. I hope I can give it 5 stars when / if the developer makes it more user friendly.

I was hesitant to buy after reading the reviews but it looked so appealing. I am so glad I did it. This is THE BEST. It does everything it said it would and it works just fine on my i5. I now have 4 different signatures that automatically insert into a new email easily. This is exactly what I was looking for for my company. I will support these guys in reviews for sure.
First of all, the cursive works fine. I discovered that you just unclick the bold or italics option.
Second, it is true that adding your own social network icon doesn't work. They need to fix this. But this app offers you a star or a world globe icon if you want to use that instead.
And so what if it only has three fonts.

I have customized my signatures on my iPhone to duplicate my work signatures. I have actually customized four different signatures to coincide with four different email addresses. It works like a charm, I love it .

But I'm only giving it four stars because:
1. I'd like to be able to set up a particular signature block to coincide with a particular email address and not have to go back in to the signature app to retrieve one.

2. I'd like to be able to use different font sizes within the pre-configured boxes.

But don't let the above deter anyone from buying this app. Even the way it is right now, this would be the first app I'd buy. Now if they could make something like this for text messages, that would be awesome.

I've been wrestling with signatures on my iPhone for a while, and for the most part, this app fits the bill. There's only three things that I would love to see added to future versions of this app.

First and foremost would be integration with the iPhone's mail program, so that signatures could be added from within the app.

If that can't be done, then my "option" would be to be able to specify a default e-mail address for each signature within the app itself. That way when I select my business signature, it defaults to my business e-mail address, and not the default address on the iPhone. This would go a long way to insure that mail doesn't accidentally get sent from the wrong e-mail address.

Finally, I'd love to be able to add color to the text. i'd like my name in one color, my title in another color and the secondary text in a third color.

Otherwise, for those of us who use multiple e-mail addresses for multiple purposes and need to use more than one signature, this app is well worth the investment!

What they don't make very clear when you are reading about the app: you have to go into the signature app, choose a signature, then the app (one million years later) will launch your mail app so you can send a message from within it. If you're replying, it's even more complicated. I should have trusted my instincts when I read all the bad reviews, but one guy said "Don't worry about the bad reviews," and I fell for it. I emailed the company about a refund, they directed me to Apple's no refund policy, I grew bitter for taking a risk on a slightly more price app (I skipped the free version, like an idiot, because I thought "Why would I want to email someone with an advertisement at the bottom of my message?"). Lousy experience that takes the fun out of app shopping. To be clear: they don't falsely advertise what the app does, they just aren't straight forward in their description, and they shouldn't waste every one's time on an app that is irrelevant in it's journey to get around the Mail app. Just do something useful until Apple makes the Mail app more third party friendly, boys. Or go on vacation with our money.

This is a nice little application with a simple idea of adding customized signatures to email and websites. The signatures can be customized and changed to meet the needs of each type of message. You can have up to six different signatures. The basics of the app is that you go in and press the > button for each of the types of signatures (you can change the name / type of signature) and create you own signature for each one. Then the button will be highlighted and you can just tap that button to add in that signature to the email or website -- it automatically opens the correct location and starts the composition.The customization of the signature is quite good, you can do quite a bit and each one has two different zones. So you can put your name in bold and 14 point font in one zone, and then your address in 12 point normal for the next zone. This is nice and works well; it would be better if you could have only one zone and change the text as you want for each word; as it is the entire formatting occurs for the entire zone. It isn't elegant but it works. Each signature can also have an image; this is nice for business signatures because you can also make that image a link to any website you want. NOTE, make sure you put the http:// before the image if pulling from a website and before the link because the app doesn't check for this.I would have liked to have an option to create a vCard and attach that; but no go. To me, this is a big mistake, maybe in future releases.NOTE: This has been identified as the way the OS handles access to the email accounts; there is little that the developer can do about this issue, but here is the issue.Another thing that is a problem is the email signatures. If you are like me and have a few different email accounts for different things, you want to be able to press the button on the email signature you want and it opens an email *FOR THAT ACCOUNTnot the last one used. This is another big drawback, it is way too easy to accidentally send an email via the wrong account. There is another feature called "HotLinks" that will automatically determine if you are on a website (given by parameters by you) and add your signature to the input field. Sounds good, but in reality I can't see using this at all. It could be OK, but it isn't for me. I don't use the facebook website to enter things, I use the Facebook application. Overall I like the application, I think it has great potential but it needs a little more. If they could fix the two major drawbacks listed above, I would give this app a slam dunk 5/5 but as it stands now, I can't do that. The other big drawback I found is the $4.99 price point. I can't see many people wanting to pay $5 for a signature app; maybe $1.99 or even better $0.99

Does not work with iPad as yet even though says iPad compatible. Developer has not tested with iPad. Does not load the email. They will probably fix eventually but not as of this posting.

Still cannot easily get around apples on signature for multiple email accounts. This program does not solve anything useful for someone using the iPhone for both biz and personal management.

Hoping the developer will get out a fix for this. Under iOS 4, the auto insertion of a signature doesn't work as expected due to the fact that neither the mail nor signature apps actually quit.

I love this app and would give it more stars BUT it crashes all the time..
I NOTICED REQUEST FOR UPDATES FROM NOVEMBER. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DO AN UPDATE TO FIX THE ISSUES!

I want my money back! This is a horrible app. To use your signature you have to send the emails through the app. The process of creating the signature is not straight forward and do not allow for personalization.

This app has become all but worthless in iOS4.0. From the sound of designer's work around it doesn't sound like they have any idea or intention of fixing it. It was flawless in 3.0. It's too cumbersome to be bothered with now.

Used to be a great app. Now it doesn’t paste automatically. Every time I use it I have to go to the app & it says “copied” but not so. I see they supposedly did a fix six months ago and that’s around the time I started experiencing problems.

I guess I expected more. My biggest issue is that you aren't able to change formatting within the signature. In otherwords if you click on bold for one sentence you can't make another line not be bold. Also colors would be nice. Too expensive for what you get.

The one feature this app is missing that is really needed is the ability to assign a different default e-mail account to each signature. Like most people I run multiple e-mail accounts and having to manually change the e-mail return (i.e. "from") on the outgoing signature is a big drawback.

Would easily have been 4 or 5 stars but the creators fail to add an option of changing the color of certain parts of the signature.

I downloaded this app to perfectly mimic my signature from my computer but without color option this is not possible for me.

This is a great app but the one thing I don't like is it is not integrated with the normal email. so you can use this to compose but if you want to read emails you have to exit and start regular email app. Normally I read and reply to emails so not being able to do this from one app makes this less useful. i tried isignature but it suffers from the same problem.

Had problems with the Pro version vs the Free.
Pro would not copy and transfer the created signature AS CREATED. Any specialized font or color did not transfer to the Apple mail program. The picture transferred, but any type went as standard
Roman style. No color, no cursive, no italic. (Free version a year ago did as created. Upgraded to Pro, edited signature - zip...

Just wasted $4.99 on this app. Doesn't work at all like it should in OS 4. Does not auto-insert so you have to go and open the app, select which signature you want which then opens a blank email with the signature, then you can reply to an email but only if you have their email saved in your contacts or remember it. Also you will not have the thread of what you are replying to. Completely worthless!

I just bought this app thinking it would bring a more professional look to my emails. I sent out a few test emails and the icons/pictures don't show up. They show up on desktop, but not handheld devices. You would think they would know that in this day and age everyone has handhelds with email especially business men. What a waste. I would give this 5 stars if it actually worked. Please fix so I'll feel better about giving you 5 bucks!

...This is a good and app and looks exactly what all want, BUT...the signature is never included when are replying to our forwarding email! Replying to and forwarding is over 75% of mine and I am sure everyone's email. Very, very baffling that this feature is missing and so difficult to add to our iPhones. This is not an issue for the makers of "Signature, but rather the makers of the iPhone...maybe this simple feature will be added to iPhone 5...please

I recently upgraded to 2.6 and now every time I use the application like I did in 2.5 (Turned off the copy to clipboard feature) my signature imports in to my e-mail with everything lowercase. This is a pain. Please fix.

p.s. If I leave the "copy to clipboard" feature on it will paste correctly in my e-mail but since it does not append the signature to the bottom of the e-mail I lost the entire e-mail that I wrote and copied because my signature overwrote it.

The app is ok but it is not flexible enough to make a signature that mirrors a company's standardized signature block.

The block layout is not configurable as far as where the image goes, also signatures cannot be associated with specific email accounts.

When sending an email using the custom signature the email has to be originated from the signature application which is not optimal.

Overall this is a nice application but really only useful for casual use.

This used to be a great project. Yesterday (after not using it for a couple years), I updated my existing work signature with a new email address and logo. I sent an email from iPhone to Outlook on desktop, then copy/pasted into a new signature. The huge issue is that it copied the new company logo onto my old work logo and shows the new logo on EVERY email ever sent from that account. I have spent hours trying to fix this and it still won’t revert back to original.
