GetResponse Review: User-Friendly Platform with Awesome Features
I am a big fan of GetResponse! They have some seriously awesome features. The landing pages and forms are super easy to use and set up. And honestly, one of the things I really appreciate is that you can turn off that irritating opt-in verification step. Ain't nobody got time for that! With GetResponse, you can just migrate your list over without having to hassle your peeps with another email to get them to click that darn "subscribe" button. It's a small thing, but it makes a big difference in the user experience!
I'm kind of a simple gal, so all I really need is a platform that makes it easy for me to send out my two newsletters each week, and create attractive landing pages and forms that actually convert. And GetResponse definitely delivers on all of that! Honestly, I just love how everything is so straightforward and user-friendly. Even if you're not super tech-savvy, you can still get the hang of it pretty quickly. Highly recommend!
GetResponse Review: Affordable Email Marketing with Inbox Preview Feature
I've been using an email marketing tool called Constant Contact for quite a while now, but it started becoming a bit too expensive lately. After a thorough search for a more affordable option, I decided to give GetResponse a try.
First off, I must say that the lack of customizable options on this platform was a bit disappointing when compared to what I was used to with Constant Contact. It was difficult to make any drastic changes to the emails, which might be a problem for some users.
However, what I really liked about GetResponse was the "inbox preview" feature. This is where you can see how your email is going to look like on different email clients such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc. This feature gave me peace of mind since I knew beforehand how our emails were going to appear in our subscribers' inboxes, which is important in this age of varying email clients and viewers.
Pricing also varied according to the volume of emails I had to send out, which was helpful since my email list was pretty extensive. In fact, GetResponse's pricing is optimal for those who have to send email out on a large scale, so that's something to keep in mind.
In the end, despite these pros, we opted to go back to Constant Contact since we needed more customization options. But, if you need a more straightforward email marketing solution that offers useful features such as inbox previewing, then GetResponse might be the one for you.
GetResponse Review: Poor Technology and Tricky Cancellation Process Cost Me Time and Money
So let me tell you about this website called GetResponse. It’s kind of like a tool or service for marketers and businesses to help them build landing pages and stuff. Now, I gotta be real with you guys, this thing is not the easiest thing to operate. I spent hours on this junk trying to build a landing page, and every time I edited one version, it messed up the other version, and then my whole landing page was messed up.
But that’s not even the worst part! So I was like, “Forget this, I’m out,” and I paused my account with the intent to cancel. Now check this out – in order to cancel, you have to reactivate your account. Like, what kind of backwards nonsense is that? So fine, I reactivate and cancel my account within one minute. But guess what? They go ahead and charge my account anyway, even though I didn’t even use the platform! And now they won’t give me my money back.
I’m telling you guys, don’t even bother with this thing. You’ll just end up wasting your precious time and money on this cheap, useless piece of garbage. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from GetResponse.
GetResponse Review: Misleading Free Trial Option and Poor Customer Service
So, GetResponse is one of the world's famous marketing platforms that helps you connect with your customers, build lasting relationships with them, and promote your products or services. But let me tell y'all something, the experience I had with them was pretty disappointing, to say the least.
I came across this platform while searching for an email marketing tool and decided to give it a try since they offer a 30-day free trial. Initially, I was quite impressed with their website, as it seemed user-friendly and straightforward.
However, here's where the problem started. I wanted to try their services without paying a penny for it, as anyone would, right? I clicked on the "choose plan" button, which was quite prominent, and read the text below it, which stated that the plans were "free for 30 days." I thought to myself, "Hell yeah! I finally found the perfect platform for me!" and went ahead to select their mid-tier plan.
Unfortunately, I was charged immediately for the plan, which was supposed to be a free trial. I was dumbfounded and immediately tried to get in touch with their customer support team to resolve the issue, but they were quite unhelpful, to say the least.
Apparently, the text below the "choose plan" button was also a button that would charge me immediately, even though it was written in small text. I was quite confused since there was no clear distinction between the free trial and the paid option.
The GetResponse customer support team argued that it was my fault for clicking on the wrong button and that they wouldn't refund my money or let me trial their site. I was instantly discouraged from using their services since they essentially tricked and misled me into a subscription, resulting in me losing money for no reason.
Overall, I was highly disappointed with their customer service and would advise y'all to be extra careful while choosing the free trial option.
GetResponse Review: The Bomb Dot Com - 24/7 Live Chat + User-Friendly Newsletter Creation!
Omygoodness gracious, GetResponse is the bomb dot com! Like seriously, two things stand out to me about this platform. First off, like whoa, they have 24/7 LIVE CHAT! I mean, let's keep it real, I'm not always the most tech-savvy human being, so when I get stuck or need help, I need it right away. And let me tell you, with GetResponse, that's exactly what you get! All I have to do is click on the live chat button at the bottom of the page and BAM! A live representative is there ready to help me out within five seconds! No wait time, no fuss, no muss. It doesn't matter what time it is, I always get the support I need when I need it.
Now, moving on to the second thing that's blowing my mind right now. GetResponse's newsletter creation process is so lit! Like I'm talking beyond user-friendly. With tons of templates to choose from, even if you decide to go the blank route, there are drag and drop features that make creating a beautiful newsletter so easy a monkey could do it. I kid you not! Whether you want to add new content, change the layout or add images, they got you covered. You don't even need any technical skills to create a professional looking newsletter that will grab your reader's attention and keep them coming back for more!
In conclusion, GetResponse is a company that truly understands the importance of customer satisfaction and making their platform accessible to everyone. With its top-notch live support and easy-to-use newsletter creation features, they're helping people like me achieve their goals and succeed in the world of email marketing. So if you're looking for a platform that's gonna help you take your business or brand to the next level, look no further than GetResponse!
GetResponse Review: Terrible Customer Service, Unfair Subscription Policy, and High Pricing
GetResponse, let me tell you one thing - they are a company that does not live up to their name. They call themselves GetResponse, but they are never responsive. When it comes to issues, they simply do not care. They have a completely unfair subscription policy and they will never refund you. Let me give you an example. Suppose they charged your card on June 1st for their service for the whole month of June. But then you find out that you don't want that service anymore. You email them and say that you want to cancel your subscription. But they won't entertain your request. They will not listen to you even if you message them on Facebook. They will steal your money even if they don't provide the service. They are completely unprofessional and unethical.
I have been using GetResponse for quite some time now, and I have never been satisfied with their service. They make so many mistakes that it's almost impossible to count them. Their user interface is terrible, and it's difficult to navigate through it. Their drag-and-drop editor is very limited and doesn't allow you to do much. Their customer support is also terrible. They don't respond to emails or messages, and their phone support is always busy.
Their pricing is also very high. They charge you a lot of money just to send emails to your subscribers. They should be ashamed of themselves. Other companies offer the same service for a much lower price, and they provide better customer support.
Overall, I would never recommend GetResponse to anyone. They are the worst company I have ever come across, and I wish I could give them zero stars. They do not value their customers, they do not provide good customer service, they do not provide good value for the money, and they are not responsive at all. If you are looking for an email marketing service, there are much better alternatives out there that are much better than GetResponse.
GETRESPONSE: A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing - Poor Service, Lack of Integrity, and Illegal Tactics - A Warning to All Consumers
So, I gave the "free" email service a go but it was too darn limited. How was I supposed to execute my email campaign properly? You get what you pay for folks. That's why I went ahead and upgraded to the "pro" version on GETRESPONSE. To my dismay, the email test I sent out didn't get received properly. I mean what a headache! I tried getting in touch with customer service because they advertised that they are available "24/7". Guess what? There is no phone number available! I had to resort to the chat option but holy cow, I talked to several people and none of them offered a clear and consistent solution to my email verification issues. Oh, and to top it off, they have a high email undeliverability rate! It's like they weren't even trying. I finally had enough and asked for my account to be closed and for a full refund. Can you believe I only got ONE response after reaching out SIX times? And to make things worse, one month later, I'm looking at my credit card statement and see that I was charged $201.92 by GETRESPONSE! What the heck? This company is a wolf in sheep's clothing. They like to hide behind fake awards and reviews. They are also falsely advertising and charging credit cards while ignoring any communication and complaints from us consumers. Honestly, this company needs to be investigated for their poor service, lack of integrity, and illegal tactics. Mark my words folks, DO NOT USE!
GetRippedOff: A Review of GetResponse's Unreliable Email Marketing Services
I read another review and was thinking the same thing. I decided to give the free trial a whirl, but before I knew it, I was guided to buy a subscription. I decided to upload my email list from past customers from my website. Mind you, it was a stellar list with 12,000 subscribers. But to my dismay, every single one of them was rejected. So I got on chat support to have it resolved and got an email hours later requesting a more recent list. I was confused as I only had names and emails. What do they mean by "how old is the list"? I told them it was a list from past customers and it was the only one I had. Unfortunately, they still denied my list and would not allow me to proceed with my campaign. I had no choice but to ask for a refund within 12 hours of my purchase. But they refused to refund me, saying there were no refunds once the account was created. I explained to them all the issues I faced, but nothing seemed to sway them. I even asked for the contact info of the CEO, but they simply said I could only contact chat support or billing. Not exactly the best customer service, is it? So I contacted the CEO via LinkedIn, but I have yet to receive a response.
To sum it all up, I feel robbed. I paid $180 and got nothing in return. GetResponse should be renamed to GetRippedOff. However, I didn't give up and decided to try out Mailchimp instead. And I must say, they delivered. I ran a successful campaign with my "stale" list, which proved that it wasn't the problem all along. Sure, Mailchimp might be a little expensive, but at least they do what they promise, unlike GetResponse. In my opinion, it's better to spend a bit more and get the results you want, instead of wasting money and time on a cheap but unreliable alternative.
If you're considering GetResponse, my recommendation is to think twice. If they don't like your list, you're basically throwing your money away. Just be cautious and don't make the mistake I did.
GetResponse Review: A Nightmare Experience with Plummeting Open Rates and Hidden Charges
So, here's my verdict on GetResponse. I gotta say, stay away from it. Here's why.
First off, our experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare. We had to switch to Getresponse after Mailchimp's prices started skyrocketing. And initially, everything seemed perfect. For a mere $2,000 a month, we were able to store around 1.5 million contacts. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, it was.
Our open rates plunged! We saw a decline from 10-20% to less than 3%. It was a huge blow to our business. It became pretty obvious that having a humongous email list is pointless if no one opens your emails, right? Our entire list became essentially useless. It's crazy to imagine spending so much time and energy on migrating all our flows to GetResponse, only to have our open rates plummet to close to zero in just a few months.
So, to anyone considering making the same mistake we did, I urge you not to. Don't switch to GetResponse if you're like us and care about the effectiveness of your email campaigns. The chances are that your emails will end up in spam, and your open rates will tank while your expenses skyrocket.
Secondly, we tried to cancel our account and move elsewhere, which is when the real trouble began. Although we gave them a whole month's notice, they still tried to charge us $2,000 per month even after we canceled. Can you believe that? It was enough to make us scream in frustration. They just refused to listen to us and kept on insisting that they were in the right. We're in the process of a lawsuit because of their stubbornness, and it's not going well.
In conclusion, stay away from GetResponse. There are far better email marketing platforms out there that are more effective and don't come with hidden strings. We made the switch to Klaviyo, and our open rates are now around 30%. So, take it from me, the misery isn't worth it.
Beware of False Advertising: My Unfortunate Experience with GetResponse
So, I tried out GetResponse for a "FREE" trial to conduct a simple email campaign, but it was not as smooth sailing as I hoped. There was some hassle navigating the account set-up, and then when I sent test emails, nobody in my team received any emails. I was surprised to hear from the customer service that it was because of the "FREE" account limitations, which did not make sense to me. However, as time was short and we needed to get the email campaign out, we decided to go for the $15 program that they had advertised with a discount.
GetResponse advertised that they had "24/7" customer support, but I quickly realized that they do not have a phone number available to talk to live customer support. The only options available were chat and email. I tried both, but unfortunately, neither channel proved to be helpful at all. The chat representative only gave me generic responses on initial communications, without giving me any constructive solutions to resolve the issues that I was facing. I received no technical support despite the promise of it.
After my unsuccessful attempts at deploying even a TEST successfully, I immediately attempted to contact them for a refund and to cancel my account. Sadly, things only got worse from there. The company charged my credit card over $200 despite being told only $15 per month would be charged! I did not receive any email service as advertised, nor did any TEST successfully deploy! I contacted the company multiple times regarding a refund, but I received no response!
I then decided to investigate the company online and found many negative reviews and reports about them. I contacted my bank to report the fraud and its tactics. This foreign group is doing dodgy business, and I recommend staying away from their website. My advice for all potential users is to beware of false advertising and do not provide your credit card or payment information to their platform!
I hope this review helps other customers who are looking for a reliable email marketing service and save them from going through the same unfortunate ordeal I experienced.

Disappointing Experience with Email Marketing Software: Limited Support & Frustrating Interface
out and the interface is confusing. I had a lot of trouble getting my email campaigns set up and their analytics are hard to understand. I also had issues with some of my emails going to spam folders and when I reached out to customer service, I didn't get much help. They seemed like they didn't care about my problems and just wanted me to figure it out on my own. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this program to anyone who is new to email marketing or needs a lot of guidance. There are better options out there.
GetResponse Review: Don't Waste Your Time or Inbox Space with This Spammy and Confusing Platform
website. They always be sending emails without permission, like they think they got a right to my inbox. Ain't nobody got time for that spammy mess. Plus, it ain't even that easy to use. The dang interface is all confusing and the templates are whack. I had a whole big issue trying to cancel my account too. Ain't nothing but a buncha money hungry scammers. You better off sending carrier pigeons than messing with GetResponse. Trust me, you don't want that headache.
GetResponse Review: Great Features, Poor Customer Support
I've been using GetResponse for more than four years now, and I gotta say, I'm feeling a bit let down. Their customer service ain't what it used to be, if you catch my drift. These days, it seems like they're all about automation and canned responses, and they don't have time for us real, live humans who need some help.
And don't even get me started on their Compliance Department. Let me tell you, they're the worst of the bunch. They'll reject your list faster than a jellyfish sting, and they won't even give you the time of day when they do it. No live support? No second chances? Puh-lease.
Now don't get me wrong, there's still some things I like about GetResponse. Their drag-and-drop editor is pretty slick, and I've had some decent conversions using their automation tools. But it's hard to stay loyal to a company that doesn't seem to care about its customers anymore.
I mean, I get it. They're big, they're busy, and they've got a business to run. But geez Louise, can't they spare a little time for the folks who've been using their service for years?
In conclusion, if you're thinking about signing up for GetResponse, tread with caution. The features are great, but the customer support ain't what it used to be. And if you're looking for hands-on help with your lists, you might want to look elsewhere.

GetResponse Review: Shady Pricing and No Refunds? Stay Clear!
So, I was looking for an email marketing platform and came across GetResponse. I wasn't aware that the pricing showing was in USD! I signed up and then tried to cancel my account right away but, darn, they don't give refunds! I searched for their terms of service, but it was never shown to me. Wow, is this really how they do business? That's some crappy customer service and seems like they're running a scam!
If I were you, I'd steer clear of GetResponse. There are loads of other email marketing platforms you can use instead. It's not worth the risk of getting overcharged and then stuck with it.
