Been waiting over a month to get my benefit when I was told I would receive my first check after 3 weeks. This is why California wants people to be homeless. Edd is a disgrace and treat people like trash. This is so unprofessional. A direct action due to the state of California not complying with what is delayed to people. Edd that's people without jobs like they are worthless. California wants people to be homeless!

The EDD’s delays are unacceptable and inhumane. Reach out to your local state assemblymember or senator—many times they have a staff that works on EDD problems. File a complaint with the California State Auditor’s office and share your experience with others in order to put pressure for EDD action. Do not wait for them to give you what is rightfully yours.
