My daughter submitted a claim filing for UI benefits 12/28/201. It was submitted via fax as she is a minor and edd website will not allow minors to apply online. After 2 months I (mom) submitted the application again via fax 3/2/2022.
On 3/20/2022 i reached out and spoke with a representative who requested a verification of identity form fto be filled out and submitted. She gave me the form number DE 1326. However, there was only a sample form available. I called back and asked if they would send the form. Per the edd representative i was told to access the sample form edit it and provide the claimant information. I was advised to mail it to the address in the sample form.
After doing so I called to follow up. This time i was told the claim had been denied. When I asked why he said not enough earnings were made. I asked how to appeal the decision and was told I could not appeal it as the employer reported $0 earnings.
I have a copy if my daughters w2’s 2021 and her earnings were not $0. Its been nearly 4months and she has not received any compensation. Nor has she received a denial letter.
It appears this is age discrimination. How can we resolve this issue in a timely fashion?
Desired outcome: Award claim. Back date claim and pay the benefits.
Late EDD disability payments
My complaint against EDD-California; although their records state my benefit payment of $584.00 is paid on the correct due date each month, the funds are actually not deposited into my Bank of America debit account until later, the day after the payment due date. This is a reoccurring issue since I have had my debit account with Bank of America. I have spoken with Bank of America, representatives on several occasions regarding this. They have all told me the same thing, EDD has not released the funds. My question is, why doesn't EDD direct deposit the funds to recipient's bank accounts?
Desired outcome: My desired outcome is for EDD, to actually deposit funds into my debit bank account the same date their records indicate funds have been paid.

After my very unpleasant experience on Friday 02-04-2022 at the EDD Office, I had to revisit the Place today based on the Fact that I received a Letter to verify my Identity.
Because of the Confusion with my Claim Number I had no Choice to visit in Person.
I was trying to use a different Office but information showed it was closed.
So I was forced to return to the Office on 2 Mac Arthur Pl in Santa Anna (see prior Complaint).
Well knowing about the Issues that I would receive I asked my Girlfriend to accomplish me and I recorded everything from the Moment we left the Car!
As expected right when we entered the Building I got imidetly approached from 2 Security Members!
When going on the Elevator and leaving the 4th Floor we were called in from the Security member (same Person as on the Incident on Friday),went into the Waiting Area signed in and I was waiting for my Number (48).
The same Security Guards started there aggressive intimidation and Surveillance Tactics right from the Beginning!
I had a approx. 1 hour and was waiting on my Seat and was hearing the Security Guard calling the Santa Anna Police on me (Recording ) I could not believe what I heard and was relieved that I recorded everything from the Start!
As I was waiting for My Number to get called for Service the Security Guard called again (no crime, Argument or any suspicious Acting happen) and I heard the Police telling him (clear to hear on the recording) that they were waiting for another Officer ? (what Reason?).
Shortly after this my Number got Called and I received my Service (See Recording) without any Issues.
My Girlfriend and me than left the Building to get to our Car.
When we left the Building we seen the one Police Officer on the street in front of the Building starring at us. I showed him my Number 1 Finger to get his Attention but he drove away.
We had our Car parked 100 yard down the Building. And when we left we seen two Police Cars Infront of the Entry. I imidetly started Recording and drove a circle . When the Officers seen us in our Car they went into there Police SUV but did not follow or approach us. I drove right next to them videotaped and approached one ( see Video)
.The Behavior of the Officer (See Video) confirmed this incident. I then called the Santa Anna Police Department to ask for an incident Number to file a Complaint in the whole Matter!
I asked for the Watch Commander but the Officer on the Phone denied it and asked me about the reasons for my Request.
I explained the incident and the Officer than told me that they did not have an incident on that Place. I replied that that was impossible and that I have the Recording and also offered to send it to him!
He then stopped and told me I have to talk to the Supervisor
The Supervisor than provided me with the Incident Number ([protected]), another clear Indication on this Matter.
I receive this Treatment nearly on a daily Base : in the State or Government Offices, Private Stores or Business based on the racist,retaligating discriminating ,Provoking violation of my fundamental Rights! As usual when asking for evidence (Like Incident Numbers or Report) , I get lied to and or blocked off to continue this crimes against me ! I send the Audio recordings and Videos with separate Mails as Evidence!
I also have a Whiteness in the Matter!
I demand Actions and hereby file another Complaint for the violation of my civil Rights, false Accusations made (unknown to me) ,Discrimination, Racial Motivated Hate Crimes (see also prior Complaints)

Based on a incident that left me on total disability, I had to visit my local EDD office, located at 2MacArthur PL unit 400 Santa Ana ,Ca 92707, in person .I arrived by 8:30-8:40 am and signed in, I received the waiting number of 4, my waiting period was about an hour
in the whole time I was aggressively surveillance from the 2 Security Guards.
It was obvious to the people seated next to me.
An older lady with the waiting number 42 observed it and commented to me and questioned” what the security guard wanted”.
When my number was called the edd employee was already waiting for me.
He provided me with a wrong Claim Number and told me that all Documents I already had provided in January were not existent
He requested that I provide these missing document via mail.
I repeatly told him that I had already provided the documents and I.D.
The employee was relucent in helping me and I could feel his hostile demeanor, based on my heritage and usual profiling. So, I left and returned home to retrieve the necessary documents
And returned to the EDD office with my girlfriend as a witness.
The office was empty so we did not wait long. When my number was called I was aided by a different employee
I immediately requested a supervisor or management to place a compliant of my previous visit,
The employee was reluctant to obtain a manger for me, but at least He started directly helping me in finding the missing documents , provided the correct claim number, and linked the documents to the correct claim.
This is the typical treatment I am a custom to receiving from government agencies in my area ( See prior complaints),not even to mention the Treatment I receive in Stores! (I’m in possession of a Video over this Incident )
I hereby file a complaint for the violation of my civil rights, the harassment , discrimination and intimidation I received

This happen right now on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2022 at 11:30 am. I am living with a friend right now because during Covid I was fired from my normal 9-5 plus, and my babysitting gigs stopped. I filed a unemployment claim in March, 2020 and have yet to receive any benefits. I called today and was mocked by a customer service agent for not having JOB! imagine calling a place that is suppose to help when you lose a job but instead beats you down. Ive never felt so low in my life, Ive already lost everything to my name because of COVID! He told me I should already have looked for a new job and the case was a long time ago. I was in complete shock. Im trying everyday to look for a new ob but it has been very hard especially because under the table work is all Ive been offered.
Desired outcome: I would like the person I spoke to, be trained over again. Or at least spoke to, its not fair that people who are unemployed after a pandemic that has lasted more than 2 yrs to be spoke to like their nothing at all.

I qualified for another UI program after the pandemic pay stopped. I qualified for $164 weekly, as of 9/5/2021. The last and only payment I received was on 9/20/2021, I called 2 weeks later when I was not able to certify for benefits, they said my claim had an internal "data error " that only IT could correct, an intake form was completed and sent to IT (Sacramento), and I was told it will take a couple of weeks to get this completed and once it is, I will be able to certify for benefits. 3 weeks went by and no update, I was then told the same thing again, and "it just takes time for IT to correct this error". Finally in November I was told that they need t/o conduct an interview to determine if I am eligible for benefits, which made no sense to me and I asked why? Since they had already paid me and determined I was eligible, well weeks and weeks came and went. Finally I was given an interview on 12/11/2021, the gentleman called and informed me that they incorrectly sheduled this interview and there was no reason for it, so I asked when are my payments going to be released and also when will they send my new weeks to certify, he said they will be sent out as soon as the system updates and once I certify those weeks I will be paid. 2 weeks went by and I was finally able to certify for the benefits, which I am still missing 4 weeks to certify and by this time if they were actually paying me on time my claim would have already be depleted. I finally was able to get ahold of someone on 12/22/2021 and they said that the reason why my claim has not been paid on is because they have the wrong end date on my claim, they have it as 9/4/2021 and it should be 5/22//2022, so they sent a "ticket" an "intake" to IT (sacramento) for it to be correc/ted, and acording to that representative that there has never been a "ticket" or "intake" ever done or sent to IT to correct this, then I was told it will just take 4-5 days to correct. I called on 1/11/2022 to inquire about why no payments have been released and to see if the end date of my claim was corrected, I was informed that the end date has always reflected a 5/2022 end date and now there is a warning banner in my claim and IT made remarks to not change any information and there is a internal data error on the account. Again, I was told they do not know a time frame as to when this will be corrected. I called again on 1/28/2022 to see what is the hold up and I am told AGAIN, this is a warning banner on the claim and that a "intake" has to be completed to get this corrected and there is no time frame as to when this will be corrected, and I just need to wait. Again, I have not had any payment on this claim since 9/20/2021 and no answers and nothing but the run around. I was put on a list for a manager to call me back and still nothing.
Desired outcome: My claim to be corrected and to pay me the remainder of $1,803.00 left on my claim. I also should receive interest, this is their internal mistake, not a data entry mistake on my part, but it is their own internal data issue.
Edd id verification for doctors
This is unjust and should be illegal! I work for a legit company have been receiving disability checks for 4 months and all of a sudden they want my DR to verify himself? I am overdrawn on my account. Single mom. I need to pay bills and buy food. How can they legally do this? We should all get lawyers and make them pay back our overdraft fees and stress compensation! I am I titled to my benefits by law! This is completely unacceptable!

I've worked at kaiser for 14 years! My DR has been a Kaiser DR for over 20 years! You can google him and his legit verification. Why am I not getting my checks after 4 months of receiving them with no problems? This is against the law and I will be contacting a lawyer. I can NOT go without my checks. I have no money for food . Gas. Bills. IAM a single mom to a 7 year old boy who being effected by this also! This should not be allowed for someone who has been receiving benefits for months and the DR can be verified online .

I am in the same situation with SDI. If enough people step up to complain about this unjust treatment, we should be able to file a class action lawsuit against EDD! Let's hope that more people will report this unethical behavior!

payment not received and no answer
i have applied online for unemployment and when i pressed submit it took me to a page that said no weeks to certify check back after 1/23/22 what does this mean?!
I haven't worked since the end of November and i have tried calling EDD and no one answers the phone! I'm very frustrated and need someone to call me back in regards to my claim!

I have been trying to get status on my disability claim for the past 2 weeks as of 22DEc21 and today 4Jan22 I spoke to unprofessional inconsiderate representative that while I was explaining my concerns just hanged up my call and did not bother to follow up on my claim that is supposed to be expedited

My UI profile showed that I all of a sudden got denied because they didn't have my ID.me verified. LIES and I have transcript wit ID.me stating they have already verified. I waited for a CSR for over an hour and this thug mf was soooo unhelpful and rude, locked my account, and hung up. I was SO NICE and just needed help understanding and he was a straight jerk! So sad that people who need help are experiencing this horrible process, unreliable csr's, no help from mngt, and a website for Edd and UI that makes it almost impossible for people to get help. CA EDD is SUCH a mess! That's why there are SO many hopeless homeless!

I applied for unemployment on 7/11/21 and received one letter of confirmation. Shortly after that someone changed my password and picture caption. I reported fraud several times. I have not heard from them since the confirmation letter on 7/20/21. I've called many times with no answer. I've contacted them through email which tells me to login. I cant login because someone changed password. Please help me!

I have called 10 separate times regarding what to do about my calculated amount of pay being incorrect. I can NEVER GET A PERSON ON The phone. I have sent several claim update requests with no response. My daily calculated pay is incorrect. They based it soley off of my current employers reported wages. However, from March of 2020 until December of 2020 I was being paid temporary disability via a workers comp case from my prior employer for a knee injury and surgery unrelated to my current disability claim.

the total amount of $691.00 was then available on the debit card I held at the time. None of it was spent.
My wallet was stolen and I was forced to request a new card. The new card arrived on November 3, 2021. Number [protected]. I checked the balance expecting it to be the same as it was on my old card but found that it was a zero balance. The funds available on my old card were obviously not transferred to the new card.
I filed a contact notice with the EDD informing them of the situation but the funds have not been restored. Confirmation #C157226586

My name is JORGE SANCHEZ and l used to take care of a nice man named John Krueger for many yrs, l love my job, proud of what I do and the rest of our team IHSS, Adult Mental Services, APS and other agencies .We work hard and not easy..I was Working FROM 7am to 7pm every day except Sundays. on Aug 11 John K Had an accident at his home, l found him on the floor and immediately took him to ER Hospital..after a few days in Hospital, l was told that John K was going to be relocated in Riverside for Rehab/Recovery.l knew then l have lost my income or job and a great friend..so l apply for unemployment on Aug 19 2021 and l talked to a nice person which help me to finished all Documents and requirements needed by the book ...but l notice that l haven't heard anything from my unemployment insurance and was wondering if everything is ok or if anything .. Today around 8:am a nice man called me back from [protected] which transfer me to this number [protected]. a lady from Edd answered, she did't said her name, she ask me a couple simple questions and then she sounded very unprofessional she said " what's wrong with you people" "you all don't listen" and other stuff. after a minute I couldn't heard her anymore, l tough she hung up on me for a second but she was still there just ignoring me not talking .l was shocked and very confused at this point.. l put my phone on speaker and for more than an 1 Hr me and someone else were listening to her on background laughing and talking to another people...it hurts and it's very disrespectful ...

02/13/2020 yo me submiti para agarrar beneficios de desempleo in febrero de 2020. el departamento de desmpleo me mandaban mensajes que mi informacion no era la misma que ellos tenian en sus archivos. recibi una carta que me aprovaron en agosto 2020 pero la informacion tenia un numero de seguro social que no me pertenicia. you submiti todos los datos has fotos de me liscencias y seguro social. en noviember 2020 recibi mensajes de el departamento de desempleo que arreglaron mi informacion y que tenia semanas para certificar pendientes desde febrero 2020. you les hable y me colgaron 4 veces cuando me contestaron ya despues de esperar horas en el telefono. les mande correos electronicos. nunca me arreglaron el problema. you recibi dos tarjetas del banco de america porque la primera era para el caso que estaba equivocado y el segundo por el que era con mi identididad. cuando hable con una receptionista me insulto disiendo que yo no se como explicarme y que estaba inventando nomas para agarrar dinero. y me colgo. submiti formas para una apelación y nunca me respondieron. yo batalle mucho desde que empeso la pademia. perdi a mi esposo en diciembre 24, 2020 contra covid 19 y tuve que cuidar a mi familia porque todos nos infectamos de covid 19. todavia no me resolvieron el problema. fui insultada me trataron muy mal y nadie me ayodo.

It is inhumane how EDD employees speak to people. I have been so polite and patient because I know that I waited on hold for 6-8 hours, and it's like walking on egg shells. You don't want them to hang up on you or be mean. They take advantage of your need and it's unprofessional. They truly sound miserable and take it out on you like a bully. Instead of assisting me with my inquiry about CBT benefits, the rep deflected and brought up irrelevant case notes, when I kindly reminded her that those concerns have been resolved because I have been receiving benefits after my TR interview, she kept using confrontational and accusatory language like "you have an issue" I was calling to see if they received my WIOA training verification, I didn't require any phone interview. She grew more rude once I clarified and repeated myself "ok that has been resolved because I have been receiving benefits, I'm asking if the department has received my WIOA verification because I messaged the department twice in two months without any response from you guys" - CLICk she hung up on me. I recorded this conversation and contacted the senates office :)

Yes I reopened my claim on Aug. 27.2021 My last day worked was Aug. 23 2021 . My certificate was Sept. 5 2021 I sent in my certification thru ui online on Sept 5 2021 and to this date Sept. 24 2021 I still have not received my payment and no contact from edd., No conditional payment, nothing. When I go to my claim online it just states payment pending . I have sent 2 mess. to edd with no response. I have also tried calling several times and it just tells me they have more phone calls then they can handle and hangs up. And this is over several days and always the same message.
Desired outcome: Find out why my payment hasn't been issued fix it and get my payment or a conditional payment issued.
