People where easy to deal with,kept me in the loop it was instaled when said and windows look great,dont know about longevity becouse it’s only been two days. But my experience so far has been excellent!

Richard Ortiz. From the initial consultation the team at Energy Star Consultation did an excellent job of making sure i understood the process. They helped me to pick the right financing for the replacement of my HVAC unit. The team that did the installation were safe and efficient. I am very happy to have my AC replaced just in time for the heatwave we are about to experience. Also, I have dogs and the install team gave me time to get the dogs in the room and were respectful of my working from home. I highly recommend them for your next project.

We started with Angelica, from there we had the pleasure of meeting Frank, Barry, Eddie, and a few other team members! Due to the Pandemic and fires, our project took a little bit of time. The painting of the house was spot on! A 1 man show literally! And he did awesome, very professional and took pride in his work. The windows and our new Patio door! Magnificent! And lastly our Patio! What can I say, their team is great! We cannot be happier, and I do recommend them to everyone needing upgrades to their home! You will not be disappointed, their customer service is spot on, they clean up after themselves, and keep us informed along the way. We also have 2 pitbulls, and they greeted them daily as they would start the tasks at hand! Thank you to the entire team at Energy Star! J Familia

Totally unprofessional. I had a representative come to my home for an estimate where they gave me a quote, then became confrontational and combative when I explained that I had to think about the offer. I was told the price was only good as long as the representative was in my house and that once they left the price would double to nearly 20 thousand dollars. I was told that if he left and I didn't sign an agreement at that moment that I would never have the work done by anybody else for cheaper and that I was too lazy to ever do it myself. He ripped up his notes and left. I did not seem this company out, they were going through the neighborhood dropping off flyers advertising free estimates. I will never recommend this company to anyone. It was the worst way to attempt to gain a potential client.

This review is specifically for a Roy F Supposedly the Marketing Manager. He offered me a covered patio for roughly 12 grand financed over 10 years at a 9 percent interest rate. I had commented on the fact that I was hesitant because I did not want another hard inquiry on my credit report. He explained that it was a “soft” credit check and that it would not appear on my credit report. That was a lie because I received a notification the next day from my credit monitoring app. I brushed it off. I decided it was too much money and wanted to cancel within the 3 day window he had given me to cancel. I called all the numbers I could find on “Energy Star Construction” and nobody answered. One number on their website connected me with a woman that had no affiliation to the company. Finally I called Mr. Roy F. He answered half asleep. I told him I was looking to cancel and he responded with “okay”. Now because there is a window in which I am able to cancel, I requested an e-mail to confirm I’ve cancelled within it. He said there was no way he could accommodate and left it at that. I pressed the matter and requested a number to his manager. He declined and gave me the office number which I had called numerous times prior. When I told him I wanted some form of confirmation, he said, “I don’t care what you want” and hung up on me. I’ve never been treated with so much disrespect by an employee of a business and would never conduct business with a company that would hire an employee such as this. I would tread carefully when dealing with them.

I bought a HVAC system two years ago. The company won't return my calls. I'm disabled and have no heat. This unit is under warranty. I hope this company didn't scam me. Thanks for your help in advance.

I got a patio cover installed by Energy Star Construction, Inc. and it's been leaking since November . They've sent someone out three times to fix it, but the problem still hasn't been resolved. After the third attempt, I noticed that the side that leaks was poorly constructed. They promised to put a new side beam on Monday, 14 February 2022, but nobody showed up. I called Daniel, the construction manager, and he said it would happen on Friday. Again, nobody showed up or even bothered to call us. I've left three messages, but nobody has returned my calls.

They poured 1,905 cubic ft of cement in our backyard and built three patios. They promised a 100% product guarantee. They completed the work in December. We paid them $41,000 for the work. However, they damaged our irrigation system, which we had paid $8,000 for. They promised to make the correction, but they have not done so. Cracks have started to form in multiple locations in the 1,905 cubic feet of cement. Despite this, they have not made the necessary repairs. Additionally, they never cut down the above-ground downspout to level it with the cement. We have made several attempts to get Energy Star Construction to fulfill their 100% product guarantee, but once they receive payment, they brush off our calls for service.

I signed a contract with Energy Star Construction, Inc. on 02/19. I paid them $17,500 for the project. They promised to do the job right with a "professional" installation, get the necessary permits for the Patio Installation, make sure the city inspection was done, and give me the final documentation. But let me tell you, the work they did was terrible. There were so many issues after they finished the project. I tried contacting them multiple times to get the permit documentation, but they never provided it. The inspection still hasn't been done, and they never gave me the final documentation. I am really unhappy with their services. They didn't keep their promises, and the quality of the finished product doesn't match the amount I paid.

In December , we agreed to have a patio built by the end of February, beginning of March . During that time, we weren't updated or contacted until February 26th. We reached out to Mannie Ramses, our project designer, who is the only person we've had contact with, to inquire about the start date. We were informed that it would begin on March 23rd and be completed by March 28th. However, we already had plans to go out of town and didn't want a rushed job. Later, we were informed that they were overbooked, resulting in a delay in getting our patio done. On March 26th, we were informed that the finance director would take over and contact us. It is now April 27th, and we haven't heard from anyone, despite leaving numerous voicemails and sending text messages. We no longer wish to proceed with the company and want to terminate our contract due to negligence and unprofessional communication.

I got my patio installed in March/April, and when it was installed, I asked if I could put a fan and a TV mount. They told me it was possible, and when they came to install, I let them know about it. The installer said it was no problem and showed me the fan I wanted. We arranged the lights to fit around the fan. Fast forward to June (because of COVID), I reached out to the person who sold us the patio and asked for the installer's phone number to get the fan installed. After some back and forth, they scheduled us two weeks later to get it installed. The person who came this time was not the installer, but someone else because they weren't doing indoor projects due to COVID. He installed the fan, but when he turned it on, it didn't spin and broke the breaker. He complained for two hours about how the installer did everything wrong and said they would have to come back to fix it. He left and said the installer's boss would reach out to reschedule. Since I didn't hear from him, I called the boss myself the next day. He said he couldn't send someone back for a couple of weeks. I explained that it was the 4th of July weekend and I had company coming over. I sent him pictures of the exposed wires and the fan just hanging there. They sent the same guy back to close up the wires. I reached out to them again, and they said the guy was a couple of weeks out and would call me when they could come back. Two weeks later, the installer and another guy came back. They told me the other guy was an idiot and didn't know what he was doing. They said the fan was broken, so we had another fan and asked them to install that one. They said that one was broken too and recommended a smaller one, which I bought. Turns out, the outlet no longer works now. I texted the boss and let him know, but got no response. I called them to come out and fix it, and a couple of weeks later, they finally came back. However, the fan still didn't work, and the outlets were still not working. The guy who came out said he touched some wires and made the breaker turn off, but he didn't call me to let me know. My husband called him and asked him to come back and make sure the fan works, but there was no response. I called the boss and let him know, but he said he was on vacation and would be back on Wednesday. Upset, I called the sales guy to get the boss's phone number, but was told I would get a call. It was a Friday, and I called the boss's boss on Monday. He said he was on vacation and would have a licensed electrician come on Tuesday or Wednesday. It's now Wednesday, August 5, and I haven't received any phone call about when the problem will be resolved.
