Equiant Continual billing for late fees I've settled raises concerns about credit impact.

They keep sending me bills for late fees, which I dispute, but I've paid them to avoid credit issues. They still claim I owe $142.88 in late fees despite my payment. I provided a bank statement proving payment on July 6. Previously, I repeatedly paid a $30 charge four times. My account is current, and I'm a year ahead on my loan. Their poor record-keeping is causing problems with my Highland resort timeshare. They must fix my account or issue a refund.

Account was made current over 2 years ago. Is open. They have not reported any payment history on my wifes credit who is on the loan to any credit bureau. They stopped reporting on my credit and sent it into collections on Jan. 31 2020.

This company calls my home all times of the day (EVERY DAY) and just now at 6:40pm. Every time i answer the phone, there's silence on the other end of the line. No one ever says a word, so im assuming its a an automated call? They call my wifes phone as well and say nothing when she answers the line. We are not the type of people that would ever have anything in "collections" . This company has no reason to harass my family on a DAILY basis!

This letter is a formal complaint that you are reporting inaccurate and incomplete credit information. I am distressed that you have included the information below in my credit profile and that you have failed to maintain reasonable procedures in your operations to assure maximum possible accuracy in the credit reports you publish. Credit reporting laws ensure that bureaus report only accurate credit information. Every step must be taken to assure the information reported is completely accurate and correct. The following information, therefore, needs to be re-investigated. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 (a)(1)(A), you are required by federal law to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, any and all accounts that you post on a credit report. Otherwise, anyone paying for your reporting services could fax, mail, or email in a fraudulent account. Your failure to positively verify these accounts has hurt my ability to obtain credit. Under the law, unverifiable accounts must be removed and if you are unable to provide me with a copy of the verifiable proof, you must remove the account listed below. I demand that the following account be removed immediately: EQUIANT FINANCIAL SVCS Account Number. Please correct/update this inaccurate information on my credit report. I respectfully request to be provided proof of this alleged item, specifically the contract, note, or other instrument bearing my signature. Failing that, the item must be deleted from the report as soon as possible. Under federal law, you have thirty (30) days to complete your re-investigation. Be advised that the description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information is hereby requested as well, to be provided within fifteen (15) days of the completion of your re-investigation.

Equiant My family and I faced financial difficulties, impacting my income

My family and I faced financial difficulties, which had an effect on my income. I called Equiant to ask for a payment deferral. I was told that I would have to contact another party, and I did. They were unhelpful and directed me back to Equiant. I never received proper assistance. They reported to the credit agency that I am 60 days past due on my account, despite it being current since our discussion. Now they are attempting to add a maintenance fee to the loan, which should only apply to the timeshare, not the loan itself. This should not be reported as a 60-day delinquency. I want this corrected on my credit report.

I spoke with my mortgage broker about refinancing my home, and was told that I did not qualify, because of a foreclosure on my credit report from Equiant Financial. I have never done any business with this company or any of their affiliates. This is beyond outrageous, and I demand that they remove this preposterous foreclosure from my credit report. I do NOT have anything in foreclosure. I have NEVER done business with Equiant Financial.

Equiant I bought and paid off a timeshare with festiva

I bought and paid off a timeshare with festiva. On a vacation to *** festiva invited us to a vacation presentation. We attended and they offered to add more points to our adventure club membership. We fell for a high pressure sales pitch and signed up for a points package. When we got home we tried and tried to book a trip with them but there were no available times anywhere. We decided to cancel our new points and just keep our already paid off timeshare package. We had 14 days to write to cancel. I sent a letter and received no response. I also received no bills or calls about it. I still got advertisements from them so I assumed that it was taken care of. That was until Equiant showed up on my credit report. It should not be. I want this taken off my credit report.

Hello, I recently received a notification on my credit report from a certain company. Despite numerous attempts and enduring long hours on hold, I have not been able to reach anyone. My interactions with this company are non-existent; I have neither conducted business with them nor have any connections to them. It is imperative that this entry is expunged from my credit report as it is a clear case of fraud. Regardless of which number you try, there is a consistent lack of response. The company's low consumer rating speaks volumes. It baffles me that such a business continues to operate despite flagrantly violating privacy and engaging in fraudulent activities.

Equiant We bought a time share long ago, but after buying a home, affording it became impossible.

Years back, we invested in a vacation property. However, upon acquiring a new residence, we found the financial strain too much to bear. Attempts to relinquish our ownership back to the company were futile; they declined, insisting we fulfill our financial obligations. We instructed our bank to halt automatic payments, which prompted a call from the company. Despite our clear stance on being unable to maintain the time share, they rejected our plea. Eventually, the communication ceased, but to our dismay, they reported the outstanding balance, accumulated payments for a service we never utilized, and interest. We remain open to dialogue, yet contacting the company has proven unsuccessful.

This buisness collects money for stay saver vacations. My contract with staysaver is that I pay on the 10th of each month. I paid on 6/7 on equiants automated phone system by debit card. They attempted to still take the payment on the 10th for the month and I did not have the funds for that to go through because I already paid my bill for the month. They attempted 2 other times through the month and now charged me 2 $35 dollar charges for insufficient funds totaling 70 dollars. I called them to remove the charges and they will not. They keep telling me one lie after another such as I paid online which I did not or that I signed up for the auto draft on 6/21 which I also did not being that they attempted to take the money on 6/10. They are still telling me it's my fault and will not remove the charges.

Equiant My wife and I attend a timeshare presentation in *** in July

My wife and I attend a timeshare presentation in *** in July . We decided it was too expensive as I am disabled and on fixed income. They convinced us to try a trial package whereas we would pay $57 a month. We agreed to this and were supposed to receive our package information in the mail. We never got anything and they never took a payment out of our account. I just decided that maybe it was for the best that if I wasn't going to get what they promised, I wasn't going to worry about paying it. I recently have been trying to get my credit repaired and they continue to report nonpayment. I contacted them and they said they couldn't give me anything, but I still needed to pay them. The very rude person told me that she had to pay her car payments and I reminded her that she gets to drive that car! How can they ruin my credit and not give me anything in return. I will pay the original amount in full if I get something for it, but how can they charge me for nothing?

Equiant Equiant is used by my timeshare company, Bluegreen

Equiant is used by my timeshare company, Bluegreen. My monthly mortgage payment to Bluegreen is handled through Equiant. Equiant has a website that allows you to manage your account. I changed my payment account on the website and sent an internal email message informing them. I put the account on hold, preventing automatic drafts to ensure the new payment account was acknowledged and setup in their system. My automatic payment is typically the 28th of every month. I changed the payment account information and placed the account on hold approximately 3 weeks in advance. I was notified by my previous bank of a letter that needed my attention. I reviewed the account and saw where Equiant initiated the automatic draft that I placed on hold. I dont use the previous bank account and therefore do not fund it. The back paid the initiated draft and charged me a $30 NSF fee. Equiant will need to acknowledge the error and refund the draft of $161.26 and the $30 NSF fee. Its really unfortunate that tools setup for customer use dont seem to work with ***.

Equiant I have consistently been given the runaround between Equaint and Bluegreen for over a year now

I have consistently been given the runaround between Equaint and Bluegreen for over a year now. I have been told by both parties that neither can help me and to contact the other - both parties giving me absolutely no help. Bottom line is, I have an issue with my ownership with BLUEGREEN, not you. I have never enlisted in your services so Im at a loss for words why Im having to deal with you at all, honestly. I have no reason to have to continue to jump through hoops for you when you're not the one I should be dealing with. I have written letters and made calls and have gotten no resolution whatsoever. The gig is up and Im tired of playing these games. I want whatever you have on file for me to be given back to Bluegreen immediately. This is beyond frustrating. I want my account closed with you. From the very beginning this has been one lie after another and I am done with it. I should not be going back and forth between two companies when my issue is solely with one - Bluegreen. I cant wrap my head around the fact that you can play this cat and mouse game and refuse to help. Not only is it ridiculous, but its just another reason that we want out of this. I need a timely response to this because I have been dealing with it for almost 3 years now.

Equiant I mailed my maintenance dues/payment 11 days ago, and they have yet to post it to my account

I mailed my maintenance dues/payment 11 days ago, and they have yet to post it to my account. Tomorrow I know they will end up adding a significant late fee (by 12/31) yet I CANNOT get a hold of a person no matter how long I stay on hold. I have called 4 times in the last 2 days (as soon as I noticed that my check had not posted to my account) and it is appalling how long I stay on hold and then, after nearly an hour, it disconnects and says to try again later. When I choose the option to leave a voice mail, it does not allow it to be recorded or sent. When one tries to leave a message, a recording interrupts about 30 seconds in, and says "to listen to your recording, press 1, to re-record, press 2" yet you cannot record anything because it continues to do this, and there's no option to send the message. I even mailed them a SECOND CHECK yesterday, with a letter describing the issue and instructing them to only post the second check if they have somehow lost the first one. If I am charged a late fee, I will dispute it, yet how? How can I do this if I cannot EVER reach a human being!? I also emailed them, twice; once yesterday and again this morning. This company is one of the worst I have ever encountered regarding providing 'customer service'.
