I booked a ticket from one of your agency ,my flight was on 26th June ,i had united airlines from Minneapolis to Chicago and because of weather the united airlines flight was canceled i contacted Ethiopian airlines to confirm the cancellation but they said nothing is cancelled because go to the airport ,i had little children and special need child travelling with me , i was at the airport more than 9 hours to rebook the ticket , call the agency and get booked on 29th but the weird thing was there was something wrong with my booking ,i have to get my luggage and go Ethiopian airlines in Chicago ,I contacted the Ethiopian airlines but never solved the issues and I lost some valuable things such as my kids tablets .
The ticket was emergency ticket and was very expensive ,i was trying to reach my dying grandma but unfortunately did not make it because of the delay .
My back ticket was on 08/11/2023
I arranged the ticket for my kids father who was travelling to UK ,to travel with US and assist us until we go our gate from Addis to Chicago but our ticket got canceled the day before we travel and i don't know the reason !.
the Ethiopian airline in Garawe booked the ticket for us with out asking me which day we can travel just booked the ticked and call me saying " we don't know what happen ,the flight on 13th is full and we booked ticked for you on 13th " that makes us travel with out the kids father .
The day i was travelling i did not got good seats i was holding the 7 months old baby on my lab more than 24 hours .
when i was departing from Garowe ,the flight attendant or airport worker took my boarding pass and when i asked please give my stuff back he aggressively threw the papers and hit on my face .
Complain about:
1-Physical/Verbal abuse while i was in the airplane by flight attendant.
2-Emotional damage for my kids for example separating from their father because of ticket cancelation .
2-Financial exploitations for example staying unplanned days plus expensive ticket and not providing what i suppose to get for example is not fair that my baby did not get crib to sleep while i was travelling more than 24 hours .
I need Ethiopian airline take seriously my complaint and contact me as soon as possible.
