EventPro Strategies payment/ unprofessional

I have been working for EPS for around 5 years and I heard many complaints about booking agents that are hostile and very unprofessional but not until I did my last assignment for them. They are a company that increased in number of employees in years without any quality. I worked for them for 4 days and the booking agent ( Jason Kerbaugh) guaranteed me I was going to be paid for my work. The unqualified team lead they hired for a big event was picking on me and some other staff which I thought it was unacceptable, we had a disagreement in front of the client because of his inexperience and lack of professionalism. The way I was treated was unacceptable! Two weeks later the booking agent sent me an email stating I was not going to be paid full for the event and lowered my payment to minimum wage.
BEWARE!they post on Craigslist and do not hire experienced, professional brand ambassador so they can pay a low wage. They hire team members that don't have any clue what they are doing and are very rude and unprofessional. They state they gonna pay you in 3 weeks it usually takes 4- 5weeks if not more. I am done with this company. DO NOT WORK for them. They became one of the most unfair and unprofessional company for true brand ambassadors.

EventPro Strategies Payroll

Worked a Santa event at Petsmart for this company Eventpro Strategies.. The rep said she could increase my pay by $10 a hour if I took the 2 days that she wanted me to work. I did it. That was over a month and a half ago. I was told that I have to wait 4-5 weeks for first check to be deposited. Never was deposited, now I did fill the form out incorrectly BUT I called and called and called their corporate office and waited for customer service and left messages, no reply.. I had to contact the original interviewer that hired me and she supposedly got me in contact with a "Paperwork Specialist" who at the moment has my correct direct deposit info and said I would be paid in a couple days.. Day 4 and I still haven't got paid... STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. BTW If you do work for this company, MAKE SURE YOU SAVE ALL TEXTS AND EMAILS, I have only received 1 paystub instead of 2, so I have no way to prove my hours. Be careful.

EventPro Strategies Managed by unethical greedy cheating people

I have been working for decades and can't remember a company that is so sleezy. In fact, I cannot remember even complaining about any of my employers - even when I chose to leave. This company excells with canceling you, not giving you humane breaks, not get paid on time. Obviously the customers suffer when staff is unhappy and does not show up. I have no idea why or how this company is still in business. I guess it is because they are sold false promises about growth. That made me not run away faster than I did. Everything positive which they say is a lie. Everything they actually do is rude.

EventPro Strategies Withheld pay

Event Pro Strategies is the worst company to work for. Look online; there are dozens of complaints of people not getting paid until they beg for the money. They put on an event in Colorado and didn't pay us for more than three months. They kept feeding us crap about pay periods. They were in violation of the state wage laws by not paying within a reasonable time period. I hope they get investigated and fined by the Colorado Division of Labor and Employment. They don't deserve to be in business. Disgraceful.

EventPro Strategies PAYMENT

They will make any excuse not to pay you. I have had to call and email hundreds of different employees and no response. I even called the CEO John Anderson and he hung up on me. Wow very unprofessional. $14/hr is way too low they are definitely taking a good cut. If I had not have been so proactive they would not have paid. It took over 90 days and that's after calling. Usually is 30 days pay for most companies. I have never had so many problems with a company. They sent my check to wrong address then waited a month to resend and then charge me a reprint fee when I had verified my correct address at the time the check was being sent out. They also booked me for two day job and canceled never told me and refused to pay, its in contract they need to pay me for that. That is industry standard. On the job the team lead was unprofessional, she was doing shots and then going around accusing all the staff of telling on her, because she got busted. The client treated us like crap as well. The other employees have the same exact complaints about payment. This place is a joke, stay away. In the end their business will fall apart and their greed will get them nowhere.

EventPro Strategies Unfair treatment, let go for no reason, failure to communicate

I have been working with EPS for almost two months now, on the same program, and have proven to be a hardworking team member. I have showed up on time, ready to work and continuously meet the goals of the program. However, last week I had a disagreement with our manager because I caught him in his lies dealing with communication between him and the BAs and him and EPS. I think he feel threatened by this and in turn, bad mouthed me to EPS. Instead of trying to hear both sides and find out the truth to the situation, I received an email saying that "you are not yielding the desired results on the XXXX program in XXXX City" and that the manager feels you should not continue with this program. So I was let go from the program with no further explanation, when I have worked hard and done everything I was supposed to do. I have other team members who can vouch for my behavior and efforts on the program. I have never once been let go from any work or program in the past so this is clearly not my character. I am a good employee, do my job, work with the team, and they had no reason to let me go. To make matters even worse, I was promised a gift card for my efforts and still haven't received that and no one from the company is calling me back. Hmm, I wonder why? They know what they did and its wrong. I think this is ridiculous and I would be careful to anyone who is thinking about working with EPS in the future.

EventPro Strategies Non Payment

DO NOT WORK FOR THEM!

You are told 6-8 weeks to be paid. When you call after emailing 3 people with no response at 9 weeks, you are told they actually have 45 business days (not holidays or weekends) not 8 weeks as stated in your contract. Then after working a $1200 job you get $300 after 10 weeks of waiting to be given the run around for the rest of your money. Which, I still am owed over $600. I have filed with my lawyer. Really... it takes me going to my lawyer to hope to get my money I worked hard for.

Project Coordinators do not have their BAs backs, their only goal is to come out looking the best to the client. A client took a picture of the booth I was working while it was empty; because (according to my contract and rules with EPS) I am not allowed to take a break inside the booth. Instead of simply telling the client, "we require our employees to take their breaks outside the booth." How simple is that? Don't make up some excuse to put blame on the BA when they are following your rules.

After 7 years of being a Brand ambassador, I cannot take the disrespectful way they treat BAs anymore. The lack of payment, communication, and general lack or respect for employees is disgusting.

Even as a part time job, you will not be paid promptly. It may take anywhere from 30 to 60 days. I've read complaints about not being paid in over 6mos to one year.
If at all.The company is in violation with Dept of Labor Laws.

EventPro Strategies abusive company, removes employees for no reason, mean unethical people

event pro strategies is just a "bad" company- they treat employees very badly. I worked for them on a job assignment, and the managers of the assignment were just picking on me for no reason. They were insulting me to other managers...claiming I was, acting a certain way which just wasn't sure. After several hours of working and being transferred to different locations, they finally decided to not let me finish the assignment..I'm a very good employee, did my job just fine, and they had no reason to be doing this to me. On top of all that abuse, bad talking me etc, they did not pay me either and basically screwed me over. The people that work in this company are scam artists and will take advantage of people for no reason. Next time you attempt to work for them or hear abotu them, think again- as they are run by corrupt unethical and scam people and the managers are just really awful and abuse and badmouth good employees for no reason...and dont even pay them..beware and stay away

RUN AWAY, FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY! I have been in this business for ten years and have NEVER dealt with such an unproffessional, out of control, unorganized company! They will hire you on to use you to work an event, supervisors will treat you terribly, they have absolutely terrible clients that will treat you like trash and then they will say you broke their rules (which they conveniently never told you about in the first place when you were hired on!) Believe me, they will find an excuse to NOT PAY YOU EVEN HALF OF WHAT YOU SIGNED UP FOR TO BE PAID AND DESERVE TO BE PAID! DOWNRIGHT DISGUSTING COMPANY!

I have been working with this company for 2 and a half years and have had no trouble with them up until a few months ago. I made a trip to Seattle and planned to stay there the whole time (which is 9 hours round trip from home) and was scheduled to work for 7 days. I only ended up working for 2 days. Apparently the tour manager that I was working with told the event coordinator at corporate that I wasn't doing my job correct, which was not true. Out of the blue, the event coordinator emailed me saying that he removed me from the event. I had no warning from the tour manager saying "you need to do this and that in order to stay." I was flabbergasted. I have never been so insulted in my life. I always do my job correctly, and to say that I haven't, disgusts me. They never got to hear my side of the story which they are required to. They should be talked over with before eliminating a person. Just because she is a tour manger, doesn't make her alway right. At 6 hours a day, 12 hours total working, and $15 an hour ($180 paycheck), I wasted my time and about $100 of gas money coming over to work. I was in tears.

I also worked for Event Pro Strategies and works over 30 hours for them one weekend. I was called into work last minute as a back up. I was promised $15/hour and have yet to receive my check although this was months ago. The instructions presented in an email were very unclear and I was told the wrong times to show up to the first day of the event. I ended up showing up an hour and a half early and I was not promised compensation even though it was the company's fault. Also, spent around $60 in gas and was never reimbursed like I was promised. I regret accepting the job in the first place, I was never told it would be three months later and I have yet to receive my pay check.

I worked for EventPro Strategies and like others have not received any response to my numerous voicemails, emails and text messages I left. It's been over 2 months that I did not receive my pay for one shift and in addition another shift that happened a month ago. They are responding to other peoples emails regarding pay saying we have no word on where your pay is? How can that possibly be that our pay went 'missing' and they don't know when they are able to pay us for the work we did? Highly unorganized and unprofessional company. We are in Canada and should be following the employment rules in Canada where pay must be within 5 days after end of a contract. However no communication from anyone and I have left voicemails on numerous peoples answering machines. I cannot believe they think being silent is helping their cause. If your client hasn't paid you, you have an obligation to your employees and they should be paid out of your operating expenses. This is completely uncalled for, frustrating and immoral that they are not giving us straight answers and paying us what is owed!

Frustrated !

I worked with EPS 3 years ago. It was early January, there was snow on the ground the call time was early and the program was a disaster. I did my job, and did it well I might add. The client was more than satisfied. In the end It took nearly Seven months to be paid. On top of this, The pay rate was changed to a lower rate than the one I originally agreed to. ANd they taxed my check - Even though as an IC, They should not have - since I am not technically an employee. The Account manager I originally dealt with was dismissed and it took a letter from my attorney to actually get EPS to pay out. All other methods of getting their attention failed miserably. To this day, I still get notices from EPS. But out of the multitude I get, I've only responded to a handful- Which I never get called back on. Perhaps EPS has changed its ways in the time since my bad experience. I only know that I am very wary of them

Comment at you leisure.

For those thinking of working for this company and for TNYDNCR...

I was asked to pull a 12-hour shift, via text, the night before the event. I agreed as long as they paid me in 30-days. I have an email from them stating they would pay me in the 30-day period.

I worked the 12-hour shift, in one spot, no breaks and did my job very, very well. No complaints only accolades by both the EPS organizers & the event owners. I signed in and signed out.

After 45-days of NO PAY, I had to request it. They put it off for another week and finally sent a check for only 8 hours of work.

All emails & phone calls/voice mails have gone unanswered. This is months worth of me trying to contact them.

A good company to work for? Seriously? This is an unethical company. Period.

My last recourse? I've notified the owner of the event who are NOT happy to hear about my non-payment. My next step is going to the State to file a complaint. I might only be out of 4-hours of $$, but I'm not the only one out there. This company is making bank on NOT paying their Brand Ambassadors!

Stay away! Far, Far Away!

I've worked many events for EPS and they have been great! They specifically state the requirements for each individual job and if you don't meet those requirements, you don't get paid. No work = no pay. They're a business. Seriously, come on, let's be real! As far as getting paid, it is their policy that it takes 30-45 days to receive payment, clearly stated on their website. I would encourage you guys to do your homework next time instead of just looking for an easy paycheck.
