This was the absolut worse service!
This was the absolut worse service! Furnitur is brokn. A bed frame, 3 dressers, 2 entertainment stands. Dishes brokn. And this is just what we have found so far... Company changed the price three times. It ended up being $12,437.70... To move from Las Vegas to Omaha. And when you try to get anyone on the phone to complain no one answers or they are short and rude. This is an absolut garbage service that needs to be reported.
Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company. They are a bunch of half-fast let's break your stuff, get it on the truck, and run. Then they overcharge you three times and put your stuff in another place so you can't find it. This company works with Independence Van lines, which is another scam artist. So, truly watch out when you're moving in town or even out of town. Do your due diligence to make sure you get the right company or just do it yourself. This company is a joke.
This company was subcontracted from the original mover
This company was subcontracted from the original mover. I met three workers with their 27 foot truck on December 2nd. Alex called me and said the items were more than expected and would cost about $15,000 instead of the original $7,500. We negotiated it down to $13,000 and continued loading the truck. I was told the items might be delivered before January 2nd. I started calling on December 13th to let Alex know we were in our home in Texas and ready for delivery. Alex then said he would try, but likely wouldn't have a truck ready this year. On December 20th, Alex called to say a truck was being loaded and would likely arrive on December 23rd. I called on the 23rd and Alex said my stuff couldn't fit on a truck, so it wasn't shipped. Now it's January 20th and Alex told me my stuff will be loaded tomorrow. I highly suggest nobody use Express Van line at all.
Express Van Line Complaints 9
My first complaint was about a broker in Florida
My first complaint was about a broker in Florida. It's about the folks who did the actual move, Express Vanline in Henderson, NV. This company scammed me out of over $4,000.00. The main person behind this mess is Alex. They charged me twice for fuel, rushed my delivery, and I should've called the cops. They target single, older women who don't have a man around. This is the most unprofessional business I've ever encountered. I can't believe they have an A plus rating. You'll see from the paperwork that it's a clear case of elder abuse. I'm including all the paperwork to explain it better.
Express Vanlines was given our contract by some other broker
Express Vanlines was given our contract by some other broker. They were supposed to move our furniture and other stuff from Las Vegas, Nevada to ***, Kansas. They came on June 13 and one month later, the stuff they loaded on a truck is, like, sitting in a warehouse in Las Vegas, you know? They kept saying when they picked it up that our things would be delivered in 3 weeks. After waiting three weeks, I started texting and emailing this guy named Alex. Every time he said he was just a few days away from finding a driver and a truck. But every time, that promise was broken. I asked if I could come get my stuff if they couldn't deliver it in a reasonable amount of time, but they never replied. We just want our stuff delivered on time. This has been going on for way too long.
This company ain't delivered my stuff from Las Vegas to *** on time
This company ain't delivered my stuff from Las Vegas to *** on time. I've been waitin' for 10 weeks now. I hired *** to move me from Las Vegas to . They gave the job to Mega Van Lines to actually move my stuff. They told me it would take 14 to 21 days for delivery, but it's been more than ten weeks since I asked 'em to bring my things. Every week since mid-July, they keep tellin' me my stuff will be on a truck by the end of the week. But come Sunday or Monday, they say, "Oops, sorry, it'll be on its way this week." I've been goin' through this same routine week after week, and I'm gettin' tired of their excuses. So, somethin' needs to be done about this. I also need someone who can represent me and this problem with some authority.

Our stuff got picked up on June 4, 2022
Our stuff got picked up on June 4, 2022. When they brought it to our crib in NV, they straight up dropped a bunch of boxes full of glass stuff from, like, 5 feet high onto our concrete patio. It was a total disaster, man. Our chandelier got shattered into a million pieces. Then, on June 27, 2022, they finally delivered our stuff to our new place in PA. But guess what? They dropped a bunch of our things off the back of the big truck right onto the driveway. It was a mess, bro. A bunch of our stuff got broken. Our chairs had their legs snapped off, and a bunch of other things got messed up too. And that's not all, man. While they were moving stuff into the house in PA, they straight up took my door off the door frame and never bothered to put it back. They messed up the door frame and the trim around it. They even messed up our floors, walls, and trim all over the house. It's a total disaster, bro. I've been trying to work things out with the trucking company and the broker, but they ain't willing to come to an agreement with us. They're being real stingy, man. They offered us a measly $1,500.00 to cover all the damages and repairs, but the cost to fix everything and replace our stuff is a whopping $15,057.32. It's crazy, bro. And to top it all off, my homeowners insurance won't cover any of the damages because they said it was some kind of super bad negligence. It's a real bummer, man.
Our moving company, ***, was runnin' behind schedule for our July 1, 2022 move and they sent us over to Express Van Lines (Las Vegas)
Our moving company, ***, was runnin' behind schedule for our July 1, 2022 move and they sent us over to Express Van Lines (Las Vegas) instead. This guy Alex, who owns the place, is a real shady character. He showed up with his plain white 26' truck, not even botherin' to put any markings on it. And get this, he didn't care if our stuff would fit or not, he just wanted to move it. He told us to rent another truck for the extra stuff that wouldn't fit, and then he jacked up the price on us. He even had a separate contract for the second truck, demandin' cash or a money order for thousands of dollars. Talk about unprofessional!
But that's not all, folks. The guys he hired to help with the move were a bunch of hooligans. They didn't give a darn about our fragile items, throwin' them around like they were made of steel. And guess what? We ended up with a bunch of broken stuff, not to mention two flat screen TVs that mysteriously went missin'. Alex is a real piece of work, a thief, a cheat, and just plain disrespectful. I wouldn't touch this company with a ten-foot pole, and neither should you. Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction!
It's a real shame that other legit movin' companies are trustin' this joker to handle their customers. It reflects poorly on them too. Someone needs to investigate this guy, throw him in jail, and shut down his operation for good. He's turnin' movin' dreams into nightmarish disasters.
Furniture not picked up or delivered on time
Furniture not picked up or delivered on time. Hard to get in touch with person in charge (Alex). Price not agreed upon. Company was contracted through *** company. I had a hard time reaching the owner, Alex. He didn't show up on the scheduled day to pick up our furniture on Saturday 9/12. He was supposed to pick up on 9/12 and deliver the furniture on 9/16 to *** He showed up on Sunday. Then he said he couldn't go to my storage unit that day to get the rest of my stuff. He came back on Monday 9/14. He charged me more - not what I was told. I met with him on 9/15 to pay him half the amount on the day he was supposed to leave from Las Vegas to move my stuff to ***(Tuesday 9/15). I called him 3 times over the next few days to check when he would arrive as I was also driving across the country. I heard from the broker, *** company, today 9/17, who told me they had to contact Alex, the owner of Express Van Line. I heard back 4 hours later. They said they hadn't even left Las Vegas yet and wouldn't leave "until the semi-truck was full of other customers' furniture." I wasn't given a delivery date and now I've left the state to move to my new home without furniture and my kids have no beds to sleep in. My wife is a woodworker and can't continue her business to make money without the tools that are on the moving truck.
Express Van Line came to my house on 3/22/2022 and did a walk through of my home to move
Express Van Line came to my house on 3/22/2022 and did a walk through of my home to move. I wasn't taking most of my furniture and the original quote was 5 thousand. They came back and told me it was gonna be a full truck which it was only about 1/4 of the truck. They talked me into purchasing the entire truck for $6,500 and came the next day. The movers wrapped and packed my property. About 2 hours into this the dispatcher contacted me and said the packing material will be an additional $2,500. It was already done and I would have had to make them unwrap everything so I let it go. Then they charged be $300 for a heavy item. Bill came to 12,469.75. I paid $3,000 down payment that is listed on their contract and it states the balance due at destination of 9,469.75. They were supposed to be at my new address in *** on the 25th. on the 26th, they contacted me and said the truck broke down and it would be a few days. I asked if there would be discounted rate for the delay. They did not respond. The next day they text me to pay the $5,000 paid by a money order and to send them a tracking number. The dispatcher said that they were holding the truck in Reno until I paid and the truck was not broken down. I told them that their contract says balance due at destination. I am happy to pay once all my property is delivered in good condition. They will not deliver until I pay and that is against the contract and I do not feel comfortable they have highjacked my property and will not deliver if they are paid upfront. I paid their requested deposit. I am just aking them to follow their own contract.
My stuff got picked up by Express VanLine on 7/19/22
My stuff got picked up by Express VanLine on 7/19/22. I hadn't heard anything from them until I called on Monday, August 15th to check when my stuff would arrive. Alex told me that my stuff was still in a storage place in Phoenix, AZ because no drivers had come to *** VA. I asked when I would get my things and he said to look at my contract for the earliest delivery date. I told him that based on the papers they gave me during pickup, the first available delivery date was 7/31/8/22. He said the driver who packed my stuff told me it would take 30 days to deliver. I told him that the driver didn't say anything like that, he didn't mention any possible delivery date. He said he might have someone bring my stuff to me without charging extra. I asked how I could speed up the delivery and he said "Nothing. Just be patient." He said sorry and told me to contact him in 7 days for an update. I texted Alex again on 8/22. He said he didn't have an update. I texted him again on 8/26 and he asked for the date on my papers. I told him the dates it had: 7/31/8. After a few more texts, including him calling me a liar and making jokes about the situation, I told him I shouldn't have to pay his company more because I had been waiting 38 days for my stuff. I was so shocked by his behavior that I told him to stop contacting me unless it was about my delivery. He kept texting me, now saying that since I said I wouldn't pay more, he legally didn't have to deliver my stuff. He called me a liar again about my deposits and sent me a screenshot of my contract with different delivery dates that weren't on my copy.
Our stuff came mad late, like 26 days after they said it would and 23 days after the supposed delivery date
Our stuff came mad late, like 26 days after they said it would and 23 days after the supposed delivery date. And let me tell ya, a bunch of our stuff was messed up or straight up missing. So here's the deal, we went with Nation Wide moving and they gave us a quote of $3400 at first. But then me and my hubby measured everything ourselves and figured out we had more stuff than they thought. So I called 'em back and gave 'em the new measurements, and they gave us a binding estimate of $6700. I gave 'em a deposit of $1700 and was supposed to pay $3000 when they picked up our stuff, and the rest when they delivered it. But then this dude Alex from Express Van Lines shows up at our place and starts talkin' about how we need two trucks to move our stuff. He wanted $5000 right then and there, and another $5000 when they delivered it. I told him straight up that we didn't need two trucks, and if we did, I'd pay the difference after they loaded up the first truck. But he still insisted on the $5000 upfront, and even threatened to take our stuff back outta the truck and leave it on the street. So I said fine, I'd give 'em the $5000, but that's it. When he finally brought out the list of stuff loaded onto the truck, he had me so worked up that all I could do was cry. We rushed to get to Arkansas, our destination, 'cause he told us our stuff would be there on December 18th. We only packed enough for a few days 'cause that's all he said it would take. We got to Arkansas on the 18th and I called *** to let 'em know we were ready for the delivery. But then he starts textin' me sayin' we owe another $5000 or he's keepin' our stuff. So there we were, sittin' in an empty house with no blankets, clothes, furniture, or even basic stuff like pots and pans. We didn't even have shampoo or my wheelchair 'cause they were supposed to arrive the same day as us. We waited for 3 weeks, goin' through my birthday, Christmas, and New Year's, and I kept askin' *** why our stuff hadn't shown up. But all I got was a bunch of different excuses. Finally, when our stuff did arrive, I found out that he gave the delivery guy the wrong number for me. Then he has the nerve to tell me on the phone that I gotta give the driver another $5000 or he's gonna tell him to drive off with our stuff. A few days before the delivery, Alex calls me and says the check I wrote him didn't go through. So I call my bank and find out he tried to cash it the day before and it was $6 short. I call Alex back and explain it wasn't on purpose, and he's like, just have the cash ready when the driver gets there. So I do, and then I find out he tried to cash the check multiple times after I already gave the driver the cash. In the end, we ended up payin' $8200 for somethin' that was supposed to be $6700. And when they unloaded the truck, a bunch of our stuff was messed up, some stuff was straight up gone, and some stuff was missin' parts. I got some pics to show you how messed up it all was, including a pic of my mom's Karlsbad German Tea set that never made it here.
