EyeWear Town Extremely rude representative

I have purchased glasses from www.eyeweartown.com. I received my order in reasonable time, glasses were great, but unfortunately didn't fit. I contacted their support team and the rep I spoke to was terrible, very rude and impolite. She claimed it was only my fault and refused to give me my money back or at least a replacement. I tried to tell her that I couldn't see through my glasses, but every time I tried to say something she rudely interrupted me. I'm very disappointed.

EyeWear Town Screwed up prescription sunglasses then lied about recieving them back to repair

I have never dealt with such a rude lying nasty manager as I have with eyetown. I order my prescription sunglasses for my Christmas present which cost $700.00. I got them 2 days before leaving on vacation so I didn't have time to deal with the wrong prescription then. I called the manager her name starts with (Ma) when I returned and she said they would do nothing about it;. I took the glasses to my own doctor to check they put the wrong lenses in and didn't put the coating on that I had order!. I have been dealing with the BBB|. The BBB finally got Eyewear Town to agree to have me send them back to be fixed:. Well guess what I FedEx them to the manager and a signature was required;. I called eyewear town today and they claimed that they never received the glasses back, so I called FedEx to see if anyone signed for them and guess what they had 3 days after I sent them back/. They are nothing but LIARS and SCAM ARTEST! I am now having to deal with the BBB and they have suggested that I get a lawyer:. What ever you do PLEASE DO NOT BUY From them you will just end up loosing your money and having to deal with incompetent people who lie cheat and steal your money and enjoy doing it

EyeWear Town They sell counterfit eye glasses

My D&G eye glasses frame broke, and I wanted to replace it with the same exact model. I called EyeWearTown on the phone, and they said they have it and assured me that it is authentic. The charged me $120. Three days later, I received a counterfeit model along with an invoice from eBay seller "PimpMyShade". The frame was sold to Karina "the sales person" and paid for by PayPal. I called them and they ask for photos. I emailed photos of the counterfeit frame I received and the authentic one I have, and they refused to take it back for full refund.

So, basically they sold me a frame they didn't have. The went to eBay and bought a counterfeit for less than half what they charged me, and refused to refund my money.

EyeWear Town Fraud

EyeWearTown sells counterfeit glasses.

My D&G 5001 eye glasses broke, and I wanted to replace it with the same model. I called EyeWearTown and they told me they have it in stock, and they assured me that it is authentic. I placed my order on the phone for D&G 5001 for $120. Few days later, I received a counterfeit D&G model 5001T shipped from CA. The glasses came in a white box with an invoice to Karina (The sales person). The counterfeit glasses was bought on eBay, from "PimpMyShade", paid for by PayPal, cost $55, and invoiced to EyeWearTown sales person. They refused to refund my money, even after I sent them photos of the authentic glasses and the counterfeit side by side.

EyeWear Town Don't buy from them

DO NOT USE THIS WEB SITE!

I bought a pair of Christian Dior sunglasses and the total including shipping to Australia was $250, Shortly after my purchase I recieved and email saying the pair I bought were damaged could they send a different colour, I replied on the SAME day and said yes then on the same day i recieved ANOTHER email saying I took too long and they sold that pair and I am to choose a different style.

I told them I was replacing a certain pair that was stolen from me a few year earlier and was not interested in a different style and asked for a refund.

I heard nothing for over a week so I sent another email again requesting a refund and the response I got was "we had a computer glitch and now it wont let us refund you please choose a different style."

I WILL be taking this matter further!

EyeWear Town Non Delivery

I purchased sunglasses from this company's web site only to receive a message the next day telling me they were now discontinued and TONY would get back to me in 48 hours with more information! THAT was 6 WEEKS ago and even though I have left many messages and sent countless emails I have heard nothing! They mention they have phone numbers for overseas customers - I'm in Australia BUT it dosen't matter what time I call I get the "there is no one here now" message PATHETIC...

This company gives shopping online a bad reputation. Never use this comanpy and I will post this email on all the complaint sites to warn others not to deal with these theives!

EyeWear Town Don't use them

Received sunglasses from this company. They were sent from a residential address in the U.K. On the boxes’ customs declaration said they were “used sunglasses”. They were grimy and the box smelled. They came with no carrying case, no cloth and no certification of authenticity. They were only bubble wrapped with white medical tape, and left loose to bouce around in the the box . Eyeweartowns’ own testimonial said "They come complete with certificate of authenticity, protective case and dust cloth". I called some guy who obviously ran the place and he said he would send me these things. They sent me a box which did not fit the glasses. Nothing else. I said I wanted to return them. They gave me a RGA number and told me I would have to do so at my own expense. I did so at my own expense. They then charged me a $100 restocking fee. This for shipping me something incomplete and not what I purchased.

To re-iterate, I was sent a pair of glasses wrapped in bubble wrap the closed shut with white medical tape from a house in the U.K. They were grimy and smelled of cigarettes. The glasses had no case, no wipe and no certificate...Just as if they were being haulked on the streets of London the day before.

I am going to place this on every complaints board and review site I can until these sleaze bags give me my money back.

EyeWear Town Stay away

I called and placed an order for overnight for a anniversary present for my fiance. They told me no problem. They called me late Thursday and told me they cant ship it until Friday which is when they told me i would receive it! They said they can ship it so i get it Saturday (cutting it too close for my surprise presentation) and that they would ship it to my house instead of my work (which i told them is closed Saturday). After waiting Friday all night, we called in to get the tracking number. Now its Saturday and its being shipped to my closed work location. I called the eyeweartown 800 number and a man picked up just waking up from his bed (he stated). He literally told me its not the end of the world, mocked me, mocked my fiance all because i called him while he was sleeping! He made excuses that they work from home and basically admitted they are the most unprofessional people. He told me i should have bought it from a retail location. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE RUDE PEOPLE.

It should be called Rudewear Town. My boyfriend ordered Coco Chanel glasses for me as a Valentines present. He ordered them to arrive before Valentine's but he received an email 4 days before, with a USPS tracking number where they arrived at another address in N.Y., not CA shipping address, so we didn't receive anything for Valentine's day. We sent an email afterwards to cancel the order altogether and not to charge our card. We then receive a rude email from them saying they were now shipping them via ups and if we didn't want them they were going to charge a 20% restocking charge. This rude person was of course trying to deny they didn't receive the email I forwarded to them for the 3rd time. Luckily we used Amex and we'll let them take it from there. What awful customer service, I don't think they'll be in business much longer...hopefully!

EyeWear Town Don't shop there

I recently bought a pair of frames form EYEWEARTOWN and not only did they took forever to ship the item, they had to source it also. why would you false advertise items u don't have and then try to sell your consumer another product.

And on top of this they don't want to compensate you anything, I had to argue for free shipping, which i ended having to pay half.

I'm so sorry that i didn't found out about this site sooner, then i would have had some knowledge as to who and were are the best sites to shop.

I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH YOUR SO CALLED COMPANY EVER AGAIN!

I agree with everything stated above. I was sold a used pair of Hugo Boss eyeglass frames with someones prescription lenses in them which were terribly scratched. Also the ends of the eyeglass frames had teeth marks on them. Gross! The only reason I kept them was that the frames are discontinued and I love the size. I had another pair of the same frame that broke and use the spare parts on the used frame that was sent to me. I was not told I was buying a used frame and paid top dollar for it. And yes it did take forever to get the frames mailed to me. These people are thieves and con-artists and should but shut down!

I would not recommend to use this company to anyone.
Facts:
1) item was shipped after 8 days instead of 3 days as promised despite of the fact that before placing an order I got confirmation from sales team that specific item was available and would be delivered within 12 days period.
2) seeing that they are late with dispatch I again got confirmation (after double checking) that item would be delivered by agreed date. Still, they did not use express shipping to catch up with delay while Fedex tracking indicated 3 days later delivery than needed from the first moment.
3) item was delivered 3 days later than agreed, which cost me additional money for my friends to change their itinerary and come back to pick up the frame.
4) when I finally received the frame, it was wrong product (wrong size), although before placing an order I specifically inquired whether required size was available for immediate shipping and got their confirmation.
5) representatives of the company are not willing to find solution, they are totally ignoring my emails sent over 2 weeks ago.

Observations: customer support is not supportive at all: this is the response I received when item was not delivered on time: "I guess they did not deliver on weekends". And now, when I reported about wrong item delivered they tell that I should have reported that 2 weeks ago, not now although it was 12th day from the item had been picked up by my friend. They are not willing to accept the return neither to compensate for additional costs incurred. Also they have not placed my testimonials to their website - they use only positive ones :))

I placed an order online for a brand name glasses. An obnoxious women demanding why I have mailing address different from the shipping address contacted me late at night! She contacted me the next day telling me that my order will take a few weeks because the frame I ordered need to be ordered from the factory and they’re out of stock on this model. I told her I’d rather cancel the order because I can’t wait too long since this was a gift! As if she was expecting my cancelation she immediately demanded that she will charge me 20% “restocking fee’s” because they already ordered the frame from the factory despite the fact that nothing on their website indicate special order or restocking fee’s! I learned that these people are con artists. Operate from their home garage or some kind of dark room. They lack all business and customer service skills! I’m so glad I used my American Express for this transaction! I will never ever make another purchase with these kinds of online companies and I will make it my mission to alert everybody I know about this company and their suspicious practice

I wish I had read this BEFORE I ordered 2 pairs of frames from them and had to deal with the SHRILL HARPY who calls herself a manager! I will NEVER deal with this company again. I am currently waiting for a refund for BOTH pairs of glasses. It sounds like I might have another fight on my hands! I'm calling the NY Atty General's office today!

The lady that runs this place is the most unprofessional person I have EVER had the experience OF dealing with...She used "Vulger" language while on hold then pretended that there is no one available but her to assist you. This has been the worst experience EVER.
I have contacted the ATTY General to file a complaint as there is no way a consumer should be treated in such a manner. She has constantly HU on me after charging my CC without authorization...and don't use your personal info as they keep it and use it for their benefit.
What she did not know is she was on speaker phone in my office and several employees heard her...and will witness the abusive behavior.
I wish I would have read this prior to my order. I smell a class action Law Suit brewing ! It's funny that you all mention Peter OZ as this is the person I spoke with just last night at 8:45pm and he advised me my order was not shipped and was not processed. However; my bank account was debited the 20th/ the same day. Funny how he failed to mentioned this. What they don't realize is that there are agencies - Government entities that protect us from Business Practices that are unethical. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE !
I will tell all my friends and co- workers about this place...as I am employed with one of the largest banks in the USA...word of mouth will make a difference.
STAY AWAY FOLKS AS IT IS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE!

I didn't want to make a comment until today when the lady yelled at me over the phone then hung up. She said I called 10 times a day, which is not true. But I wouldn't have to call every few days if it didn't take the over 9 MONTHS to process a refund. I never receied the product and I am still waiting for a refund. To all of you who have put a a complain here I suggest you go to the Better Business Bureau with your complaint as well.

Currently going through issues with Peter Oz.
When I received my glasses the parcel was crushed and spectacles badly damaged. Peter advised to send the glasses back - no advice as to where to send them. Using the address on the receipt I sent the parcel back to the place of shipment. Registered mail advised that the parcel was delivered yet there was no signature. Peter advised that as there was no signature there was no proof the parcel was ever received. After I provided evidence of registered mail he then provided the excuse that I sent the parcel to the wrong mailbox - it should have been #117, not #59 (the number on his receipt to me!). He now won't send a new pair nor give me a refund because he never received the broken pair back (supposedly). What was he intending to do with the broken glasses is beyond me. This guy is a joke and I'll sure be knocking on his door the next time I visit New York!

i placed my order online and as a previous complainer also did not get a confirmation email of my purchase. i emailed sales, and got a an email telling me that they are " really busy" and get tons of emails.
a couple of days later i got an email alerting me of the ups tracking number.
i received the sunglasses in the evening right before i went out, and did not open the box until 2 days later. since i had tried them on at nordstroms i put them on briefly and checked myself in the mirror, and i put the sunglasses away in their case. i did not inspect the glasses at all.
today on my way to the gym, i said" let me put my new sunglasses on ". while driving i checked myself in the car mirror and noticed it was a little crooked. i took them off my face and inspected and saw that the nose stem and pad on the right side WERE MISSING. after the gym i called the number listed for customer service, where they say they are opend from 8am till 11pm and i was put on hold. then a recorder came in. i called the sales dept and customer service...NADA.
then i emailed, instant message and all the messages are the same.
"You threw them into your purse, they broke on you and we need the broken piece back so we can exchange or refund. It seems they broke in your possession

around 2 hours later after i filed a complaint with amex online, PETER called me and insisted i broke the sunglasses, he was extremely rude and insisted that they were perfect when they left his place, and told me that he was calling the local police on me and hunged up the phone on me after the threat. totally disgusting and ridiculous.
his website has pictures of tons of people answering the phone, but i think he is a one man shop. BTW, the sunglasses did not come with protective stickers on the metal part, like the ones at nordstroms had.
i called amex again and told them what happened.
i called my BLACK AMEX card and reported the whole thing and they will take care of this.
i thank god have AMEX protection and this will be taken care by them

Eyewear Town is a bad joke. They said they would comp shipping when I complained about their high cost of shipping. Never got it. Glasses came on time but package looked like a 3 year old had put it together. When I received glasses I really didn't like the frames (not their fault) so I thought about sending them back. But after reading about these guys on this web sight and others I decided not too. I just had a feeling I'd never get my money back or it would be a huge hassel. I tell ya this guys a scammer.
