Wrong color
Ordered a bag from this website Fab. There were two colors available - navy and orange. It was a birthday present for my brother and since he likes dark colors I ordered the navy one. Unfortunately when my order arrived it was orange. I contacted their customer service and asked for a replacement but their said that navy bags were sold out so they sent me what they had in stock. They never bother to contact me and ask about the color! These people gave me nothing but headache and I will never buy from them again. I did not get a replacement or my money back.
Credit Card charges
FAB.COM has a defective credit card billing system.
My card was authorized an initial total charge off about $900 and subsequently FAB decided to keep charging me and placing authorizations on my card as they shipped the items, adding up on top of the initial authorization. This caused my credit card funds to be frozen and subsequently my credit card to be maxed out.
They email support is slow and completely unhelpful. Instead of contacting the client to figure out the problem they keep repeatedly trying to charge the card and there is no communication.
The worst online shopping experience that I have had. I do not recommend the use of this company to anyone.

They take forever shipping your item.. not to mention customer service is HORRIBLE. Half the time, the girls that pick up the phone sound you woke them up from their naps. STAY AWAY!
DECEPTIVE PRICING
I've been a seriously loyal and highly satisfied Fab.com customer since they opened up shop. Have ordered more than 100 items in all categories just in the past couple of years. When the rare issue arose, their "Crackerjack team" resolved it and, in some cases, even issued a small credit toward future purchase, which of course made me feel highly valued and kept me loyal. That's why my recent--and now my last--experience is so disappointing.
Received a sale email stating "100 designs. Up to 70% off. 7 days only" and, enticed as I often am because I love their merchandise, went to the site which said "we've picked our top 100 products. Get 20% off". Saw the quilt of my dreams, priced at $74.50 with NO size stipulation, and went to place my order only to discover that, despite nothing in their email or site headline stating select sizes, only one of the three sizes was on sale and eligible for the additional discount. The size I wanted was $169, NOT the $74.50 that was clearly stated with no qualifications on their sale page. Same ridiculous pricing structure for the two matching sham sizes. Sent them an email along with screen shots and got an explanation about the ridiculous pricing from a very nice rep. No offer to honor the pricing they very clearly promoted, not even a token credit. It took another email for rep to even acknowledge/agree that pricing/promotion were flawed. I ordered the size that was on sale and can use it for another purpose, but it's not the size I wanted and I'm very sad that it's my last order. I LOVE fab.com and now can never shop with them again because I no longer respect them. I gave the them chance to do the right thing; they opted not to do so. Their Crackerjack team failed miserably.

Order Processing
Fab is a good idea done extremely poorly. Ridiculously bad customer service, terrible order handling, and just a messed up company. I've tried twice to buy something through them, and both times I received multiple odd charges on my charge card, and waited forever and a day to receive what I ordered. When I contacted Fab, I got the equivalent of a verbal shrug. I won't be doing business with them again.
Sorry, Fab, I wanted to be a fan.
Although I appreciate the speedy customer service response, I am very dissatisfied with the 29-day delivery time. I'm also dissatisfied with the quality of the product delivered. The poster was a low-resolution, blurry, photographic reproduction. For the price of the item, I expected at least a higher resolution digital reproduction. This experience has given me grave doubt about the quality and description of the items listed on Fab. That makes me sad as I love the Fab website and the intent behind the mission. With such a long delivery time and questionable quality, I doubt I'll be ordering from Fab again. Sorry it turned out this way, I really wanted to be a huge fan of Fab.

double charged me!!
Fab did the same thing to me that every one else is complaining about! They charged me 56.95 when I bought 4 items. Then charged me two more times for the items when they shipped at two different times! I was certainly double charged ! Paypal shows that I was! This company is riduclous! I am so upset that they think they can just charge you twice for the cheap merchandise they sell and that NO ONE WOULD NOTICE! WRONG!
Do your self a favor and do not buy from this company! It will be one hell of a headache!

Hi there,
We do not charge you for an order until your items ship. When you place your order, we place an authorization on your card. An authorization only lasts for a certain period of time, and so it is sometimes voided and reauthorized. Depending on your bank, it may take a day or so for the original authorization to drop off, and so you may be seeing 2 charges for this reason.
Please reach out so that we can take a closer look into this for you: [protected] or support@fab.com.

Fab Crackerjacks
Stay away from this one
OK. First, fab.com makes you sign up just to see what they have for sale. Next, they are selling these DISGUSTING fish tank things by aquavista. 4" and put live thick "aquariums" you hang on your wall- and put live fish in! ANYONE that knows ANYTHING about fishkeeping knows this is beyond cruel- not to mention all you'll have hanging on your wall is dead fish. Fab.com refuses to reply to comments about this horrible item.

Billing Issues
My name is Amy and my bank account was compromised about 3 weeks after I placed an order with fab.com. After my account was compromised and I began to do some investigating I noticed that several others have experienced similar, if not the same issues as I experienced. I am looking into getting legal council to pursue and investigate fab.com. I am not asking for anyone to do anything other than share their story with me. If you have:
1. Placed an order from fab.com
2. There was a billing issue or their account was compromised following their order.
Please email me and share with me what your experience was. The email address I have set up for this matter is [protected]@yahoo.com.
I have spent the week trying to work it out with fab.com, and I’ve had enough. They are not responding to my concerns, rather they are being vague and shifting me from one person to the next. I’m confident my bank will refund me once the investigation is complete—but that isn’t really a solution, is it? If there is criminal or negligent activity going on, it needs to be stopped.
Anyone that does get into contact with me, your information will remain anonymous, unless you chose otherwise.
Thank you,
Amy
Account Compromised
I placed an order on September 14, 2012 using a debit card. As of this date, I still have not received my order, but more importantly my card was compromised. I went to my bank and the only company that has access to this information is Fab.com, myself and my bank. After researching online, I see SEVERAL people complaining that after using fab.com their accounts have been compromised. I am hoping that by contacting you, The BBB, the police, the FBI and of course the Fraud Department of my bank is already involved we can stop people from being taken advantage of and stolen from. This company charged me for a shirt I have not received, then continued to steal several hundred dollars from my bank account, unless a whole bunch of people that ordered from this website "just happened" to get their accounts compromised with duplicate credit cards 3 weeks later. I suppose it could be a coincidence...Not!
slow shipping, no follow up
It looks like my first order with fab.com was my last. I ordered a one-sie for a friend's new baby on August 15 for $12.50 and $4.95 to ship it! Today is September 4th and with no item delivered, I went to the site and attempted to find out why it has not yet arrived. Imagine how frustrating to find out that they claim it would take 17-26 days to ship. So I called the company and a very dim Customer Service rep informed me that there was a delay in getting the item. Great. So now, no item and no updates to explain why I'm still waiting 20 days later. I told him to cancel my order. Now, I have to wait for an e-mail to confirm the cancellation. I'm now seeing that many customers are being charged multiple times for things. I had better NOT be charged for ANYTHING.
Keep this up and you'll be out of business in no time. I found it elsewhere cheaper. Fab.com is a joke.
Hi Cindy,
We're looking into your order right now and will be in touch shortly over email. Please feel free to give us a call anytime at [protected] as well.

Charges twice
If you think about shopping at Fab.com, here is something you need to know! and trust me I won't shop on Fab.com again cuz there are just so many sites can do better. (It is not a super big deal, someone may just don't mind, but I don't like it. )
1. Slow shipping. If you have shopped on Beyond the rack, hautelook and so on the limited time discounted shopping sites, then you think you know what is slow shipping. Fab.com usually slower and sometimes much slower!
2. Returns. Most sites now offer free no hassle return, yes almost all the websites I ever shopped, but not Fab.com. Fab says it clear if item marked " This item is final sale and not eligible for return", then you cannot return no matter what.
3. Charges twice! (This is the one makes me really not want to shop on Fab anymore) Charges applies on the day items are shipped as most other sites. Two charges, one is the total order amount, the 2nd one is the total order amount subtract the amount of the shipped items! And in your bank account, both charges will show together, say they only shipped one $10 item, and your total order is $200, you will see the charges of $200+ $190 in your bank account. you may get the 190 back some time later... a day, a month, not depends on you.
If Fab.com varieties and good discount charms you, here are a few other sites that I shopped a lot and have had very good experience, I believe you will too! (Just google it if you will)
beyondtherack, hautelook, giltgroup, onekingslane and all those all sale sites... like 6pm, overstock, vitacost, HSN, even Macy's and JCpenny and so... on...
Have fun shopping online! Hope you will enjoy your shopping experience like I did most of the time other than Fab.

You are lucky you were only charged twice! They hacked my card and compromised my account, taking hundreds of dollars from me over a 2 day period. I checked reviews after it happened and found MANY people claiming that they were overcharged or their accounts were compromised. I called fab.com yesterday and a rep told me they use a THIRD party for their billing, and they are not up-front about this. This company has some bad business practices...
Charged twice
If anyone is thinking of buying anything from FAB.com, don't. I ordered some cups from them, was pretty excited about the purchase. Got notification of one item of the 4 was shipped out to me. Looking at my credit account I see three transactions for Fab.com. One for the full amount, a second one for the amount less what was shipped, and the third was $0. Concerned about this double dipping I contacted customer service. Their response was that the first amount was to "authorize" the purchase first, then they charge me once the items are shipped.
This is frustrating because my credit account considers both transactions in my balance. And when telling them of my frustration and that I will not be using them again, their response was "Unfortunately, legally, we are unable to charge customers until their order has shipped and that's why we hold the authorization." Over the years that I have been purchasing things from online, from small mom and pop stores to big corporations, this is the first time this has ever happened to me. Why can't they charge only once and Fab.com can't?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I had the same problem, got the same BS excuse about authorization. SOME OF US DON'T APPRECIATE YOU HOLDING OUR MONEY HOSTAGE-- even if it IS going to drop off, it still restricts my funds! I have NEVER had any other online company do this to me. This is a faulty and ### system. Fab, I suggest you fix it because you are going to lose A LOT of customers this way, myself included. Once my order is complete, I will not be ordering from Fab.com ever again, it is not worth to added stress and potential overdraft fees. Thanks but no thanks.
Your maximum security does not seem to be working, have you noticed all of the complaints for billing errors? I HAVE contacted your customer service and was told that you use Braintree for running customers accounts. I did not log into Braintree as I would Paypal, I was logged into fab.com, and therefore assumed YOU would be the only one with my account information. Obviously, with all of the complaints about billing, ID Theft, overchanrging--something is going wrong. Oh, and could you please show me where in your Terms of Agreement it states our information will be given to a 3rd party for billing? Thank you!
We use encrypted servers for maximum security while handling any of your sensitive information. While it's unlikely this was caused by us, we want to help resolve this for you as soon as possible. Please contact us at [protected] or support@fab.com.
Fab Crackerjacks
I callled fab.com yesterday due to my account being compromised and a rep there told me that they use a third party for their billing. Our information goes through way too many hands, if you ask me--just look at how many problems everyone is having with their billing! And the same response from the Crackerjacks--"We would like to resolve this blah blah blah..." Resolve it by taking care of your customers and not ripping them and their bank accounts off--and if you want to use a third party--GET PAYPAL! How many complaints does it take?
Hi LaughinWillow,
We want you to know that our reauthorization process voids any previous charges when it reauthorizes. There should not be two of the same charges on your card from us at the same time. If you have any other questions for us, please feel free to reach out at [protected] or support@fab.com.
Thanks,
Fab Crackerjack Team
THANK YOU for posting about this - I was about to order several items, but can't have random charges popping up on my bank account or credit cards - I'm on a budget! Some of us can't just "reauthorize" an extra $200 for you, fab, sorry.
Shopping111,
If you have multiple items in an order, and one ships, you're charged for the item that shipped, and then reauthorized for the remaining amount on your order. It sounds like an earlier authorization for the total order amount did not drop off your statement right away, but we want to assure you that you were not charged more than once.
Please let us clear this up for you. Contact us at 877.463.4322 or email support@fab.com.
Best,
The Fab team
OMG! I wish I had seen this earlier! Man! This is so true! I ordered from Fab.com about 20 days ago, and they haven't charge me until today, and the same thing happened to me:
They only shipped one item,
Two charges, one is the total order amount, the 2nd one is the total order amount subtract the shipped item!
Which almost double amount of the order shows in my account!
I have been ordering online all the time! For years! And this is not acceptable! Think about it, our credit card information on Fab.com isn't feeling confidential at all!
I will NEVER purchase anything on Fab.com ever again! Even they corrected it, cuz I won't be able to find out... there are just so much sites can do better... Not to mention fab's super slow shipping...
Please do think again, you have beyondtherack, hautelook, giltgroup and all those all sale sites... like 6pm, overstock and so... on...
(All these sites I mentioned here, I shop all the time, and I think I have had very good shopping experience, and there are more...)
Zefir58,
We're sorry to hear you had this experience. We're going to work with you to make this right. Feel free to contact us at 877.463.4322 or support@fab.com.

I ordered two t-shirts 3 weeks ago and they have yet to be shipped. Not to mention my credit card has 3 "Authorizations" from what i'm reading within the past two days. Why am i being charged "authorizations" when my item has yet to ship it negatively affects my available balance. This will be the last time i order anything off of this site all they do essentially is shop for you. Why are the items shipped from the supplier to the fab warehouse and then to the customer maybe the customers information should be provided directly to the supplier cutting out this horrendous wait time for an order.
