Facebook Unable to file an online report about dealing with marketplace

Good Morning:

I've been trying for a few weeks now to file something about a fraudulent incident my wife and I both had dealing with a Facebook Marketplace group/individual. I have a bunch of messages (text, Messenger) which I will gladly supply via screenshots or whatever may I can figure it out. We're both in our mid 70"s and trying to find out the best way to get this information to Facebook. Anyway we're out $300 Venmo payment and other requests by this man were gift card or PayPal or more Venmo payments and shipping was cash only or gift card. It's all a scam and I want to report it somehow but can't do so on my Facebook page. Please have someone tell me the best way to get this information to you. Thank you for your time.

Fred C. Weaver Jr.

Facebook email = [protected]@aol.com

Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response to report all of this information to you.

Facebook Facebook Ad Center, Events, Posting, and General

5/1/2023 - 5/14/2023

They began by deciding I was not me even when I showed them my driver's license. I can prove my identity and they still suspended all business activities I could do using facebook options. Then they started blocking my blog saying it was spam. Then today they stopped a live event saying I was talking too fast. CLEARLY, they are targeting me, and need to be dealt with.

Desired outcome: I would like payment in lost revenues, and I would like all of my abilities restored, and I would like an official apology for their bigotry and wrongness.

Facebook Facebook hacked

The other day my wife's Facebook account got hacked by someone. Now she is unable to access her account. We have tried contacting Facebook and got ahold of someone that said they would help but wanted us to give them our bank account number. I will never give out that information to anyone period. We have taken steps to make sure all of that information is safe but really not sure for how long. Each individual we have talked to has been rude. Do I need to talk to our attorney general to get help or will you help us out? I'm not making threats but this has gone on long enough and we need this to be taken care of. I was also sent a message from the individual saying to send them $100.00 dollars and they would give my wife's account back. We all know how that works.

Facebook Facebook business account

Who in the world do I need to speak to regarding my account be hacked and Fb restricting and disabling my fb page and business account. These circumstances' have caused undue stress and I have not been able to get any one to listen on fb. The fb software won't even let me change my name back to myself after validating the hack. My business account was disabled because the hacker put himself as admin on my account. Fb has yet to allow me back to advertise for my business because the hacker posted child nudity and fb restricted my account and there is no one to contact regarding this issue. facebook customer support is terrible. There is none.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is FB way to silence people.

Desired outcome: My account to be restored to back to and fb to acknowledge it was hacked.

Facebook 2 factor login problem

I have had a personal Page (10 Years) & a page for my internet radio station since 2015. Facebook forced me into the 2 Factor login crap. I had never used it and did not understand it. I finally figured it out and got a code generator and was able to get in. I did routine maintenance on my computer and clean out all of the garbage that is downloaded from using my computer. After that I could not log in again. I have sent Facebook messages with little or no response. I have sent them ID to which they don't like any of what I send to them. There is some information I will not send to them. I can not get beyond the screen wanting the 5 digit code other than the ID page. I only access Facebook from my PC. I do not want to access it from my phone. I have sent EMail messages to their security department but get no response. I even sent a Snail Mail letter to them again no response. I purchased a 2 Factor key but in order to set it up I need to get into my account. I never set up a phone number or photo of myself simply for security reasons. Facebook has a sorry approach to helping their users.

Desired outcome: I just want to get back in my account after being locked out for over a year.

Facebook Being kicked off of marketplace

I was trying to make a purchase on marketplace. I was considering several sellers and all of a sudden I was restricted from using marketplace until I was investigated for breaking the FB rules on marketplace. I informed them that I wasn't trying to sell anything but rather I'm trying to make a purchase. They instructed me to wait until they investigated me and they would let me know the outcome. Finally after several days I was informed I was kicked off of marketplace but I could ask the to reconsider my case. You have 3 opportunities to request them to reconsider your case and you're out for good. I couldn't ask anyone what I had done and there is no recourse. They just restricted me from ever using marketplace again with no reason. I am now pursuing enough people that had had this done to them to join in on a class action lawsuit. As a result I have returned to Craigslist. What a bunch of a--h----.

Desired outcome: I really don't know if I want to ever deal with these despicable pieces of s--- again. I'd like to join together with a lawsuit against FB more that anything else.

Facebook Navigating Facebook's Algorithm: Tips and Tricks for Success

Facebook is a social media platform that most of us are familiar with. However, one aspect that people often lament is the algorithm that decides how many people will see their posts. Often, these posts are of great importance, and one would like a more significant audience to view it.

While Facebook may seem like it's trying to exploit you, just like other platforms such as YouTube and Twitter, one should treat these campaigns with discernment. Although spending money is expected to bring in more money, you should not be foolish while doing so.

For example, as an author or anyone trying to sell a product, promoting what you have to offer is crucial. Creating book pages and character pages, using tags and URL's, and reposting regularly can prove to be beneficial. You may feel as though you're annoying your friends by posting over and over, but this action is necessary if you want people to know that you exist.

However, it's essential to note that the content you post is just as crucial as the promotion of it. Staying away from touchy subjects such as politics and religion can save you from losing potential customers or followers. Unless you're a politician or religious writer, it's best to avoid these topics altogether.

Ultimately, beating Facebook algorithms requires dedication and hard work. While shortcuts may work for some people, it's necessary to put in the effort yourself. Writing long posts or articles may strain your keyboard, but it's necessary to push yourself to do better.

In conclusion, Facebook is a platform that has the potential to help you reach a broader audience. However, it's no walk in the park, and you must put in the effort and time needed to be successful.

Facebook Facebook: A Platform Lacking Concern for Users & Serious Issues

As someone who has had experience with Facebook on both personal and business levels, I must say that my opinion of the platform is not positive. While I can understand the need for paid advertising in order to boost visibility, it seems unreasonable that page owners must pay simply to ensure that their posts are seen by members who have liked their page. It creates a system where only those with deep pockets can be heard, while others are left struggling to make themselves heard.

Furthermore, I have found the reporting system to be incredibly frustrating. When attempting to make reports about issues with my page, such as inaccurate stats or problems with adding admins, I have received no response from the Facebook team. This is despite multiple attempts to contact them and follow up on my issues. It seems that while they quickly take down certain types of content, such as revealing personal photos, they are less concerned with resolving serious issues and concerns.

Another issue I've come across is discriminatory behavior towards certain types of users. For example, I've seen pages with highly inappropriate names or containing offensive content go unchallenged by Facebook, while others are blocked or removed without reason. It's also troubling that those who hold certain beliefs or choose to use different names are singled out and required to provide identification simply in order to use the platform.

Lastly, it seems that Facebook doesn't take issues regarding offensive or harmful content seriously. Even when many people make reports about a particular page or group, the company seems to have a bias towards certain people or groups and continues to allow offensive content to be published. This is simply unacceptable and shows a lack of concern for user safety and wellbeing.

Overall, I've found Facebook to be immature and poorly run when it comes to handling serious concerns and safeguarding user experience. While I still use the platform on rare occasions, I would caution others against wasting their money on paid features or relying too heavily on it as a means of building their business or personal brand.

Facebook LinkedIn's political censorship sets a dangerous precedent - Department of Justice must intervene

The recent suspension of users on LinkedIn for simply responding to a political post on the platform is a concerning move by the administration. During these difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic, where jobs are scarce, such actions by LinkedIn are not only aggressive but also cruel. It should be held accountable by the Department of Justice.

As LinkedIn has become a monopoly and the go-to source for job market profiles, it is akin to food and water for individuals. To suspend user IDs due to political views is equivalent to denying them the ability to earn a daily income, affecting not only the individual but also their family. This monopoly position has given LinkedIn the power to allow only voices that align with their political ideology. It is unjust to suspend only those whose views differ from LinkedIn's stance while not punishing the origin of the political post.

LinkedIn should immediately disallow political posts and unsuspend all blocked user IDs. They are not authorized judges but rather a platform for individuals to connect and network. As other big tech companies, like Google, Facebook, Twitter Quora, and similar networking sites have faced congressional hearings, the same should occur to LinkedIn. If found guilty, they should be broken into smaller companies to prevent big tech from dominating the lives of ordinary and normal human beings.

It is not a coincidence that all big tech companies have joined hands to block individuals whose views do not align with those of the Democrats. There have been instances of algorithms being deployed to group user IDs and reduce their visibility solely because they do not support the ideology of the big tech companies. They want to control humanity in a way never seen before, which requires immediate intervention from governing bodies, politicians, and courts to enforce the Social Media Regulatory Act.

In conclusion, the actions of LinkedIn are unjust and require accountability. They should not take sides or block individuals based on their views. With great power comes great responsibility, and LinkedIn should remember this if it is to continue its monopoly position.

Facebook Disappointing Experience at Mountain Oaks Tea Room: Failed Promises on Special Occasions

I recently visited a tearoom in Ooltewah that I have frequented several times, and it has always been a pleasant experience. On my most recent visit, my daughter and I made reservations for Mother's Day. However, we were disappointed to find out that the tea menu was not as special as we had been promised. Despite the fact that we were given smaller portions and charged a higher price, we still managed to have a lovely time. Consequently, I decided to make reservations for my daughter's birthday a month later and requested a 3-tiered tea tray for a real English High Tea experience.

After several messages back and forth with the owner, I was assured that my special request would be met, and I agreed to pay the price of $21.95 per person. On the day of our reservation, we arrived at the tea room excited and dressed up for the occasion. However, to our dismay, the owner claimed that she had no knowledge of my reservation or my request for a special tea tray. I showed her our message history, but she dismissed my concerns and said she could still put together something quickly.

Unfortunately, the tea tray presented to us was a complete disaster. The pastries and bread were hard and stale, and the sandwiches were inedible. It was clear that the food had been frozen and hastily thrown together. I was disappointed and upset about this experience and even wrote to the owner to express my dissatisfaction.

Overall, the Mountain Oaks Tea Room failed to deliver on their promises both on Mother's Day and my daughter's birthday. I will not be returning to their establishment in the future. Building and maintaining a good reputation as a business owner is crucial, and delivering on promises is essential to maintaining that reputation.

Facebook Review of Wright Appliance Repair: Untrustworthy Business Practices & False Accusations

I recently had an experience with Wright Appliance after my Whirlpool refrigerator, which was under an extended warranty from Lowes, needed repair. Before the first technician came out, I called Wright Appliance to let them know that the ice maker had started working again but the filter wouldn't come out. Despite this, they still sent the technician out just in case. The technician, who was actually the owner, determined that I needed a part but didn't want to risk breaking the existing filter housing, so he ordered the part and scheduled another appointment when it arrived. The next technician came out a week later and installed the part, but that night I noticed that the ice maker stopped working altogether. I called the next day, but I was told by Patty that I needed to call Lowes because the ticket had already been closed. After waiting another week, another technician came out and determined that the ice maker was shorted out.

I was highly frustrated by the whole experience and thus decided to post a Google review on 2/16/17. In response to my review, Wright Appliance accused me of cursing out the technician, which was completely false. I recorded my conversation with the technician and posted it on Facebook, but it clearly showed that I never cursed him out. Moreover, I noticed that the company's responses to other reviews were a bit odd, and they never took responsibility for their actions. I also made an error in my review by identifying the wrong person, but the company used that as an excuse to evade the truth.

I thought it was shameful that Wright Appliance had to resort to lying and evasion instead of owning up to their mistakes. The company did not seem trustworthy, and I was not comfortable with having them come back to my home. Additionally, after each visit from them, I found a cockroach in my home, which was odd since I am clean and spray for insects regularly. I made a complaint with the Complaintsboard.com and States Attorney General's Office, and I have the video of my interactions with the technician backed up as evidence. The clock on the video is time-stamped, and the company's accusations of editing the video are baseless. Lastly, it is sad that Wright Appliance has since removed all their previous comments on Google to make it seem like I am unfairly attacking them. But the truth is on my side, and they will have to answer for their actions in due time.

Facebook The Pros and Cons of Using Facebook: Exploring Addiction, Privacy, and Democracy Concerns

Facebook is a social media platform that has become a staple in many people's lives. It offers a wide range of features that allow users to connect with friends and family, share photos and videos, and get news and information. However, there are concerns about how the platform may affect users' mental health, privacy, and even democracy.

One of the most significant concerns about Facebook is its role in promoting addiction to technology. Like nicotine, social media can be highly addictive, and many users find themselves spending hours on the platform every day. While Facebook itself is not harmful, there is evidence to suggest that excessive use of social media can lead to depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems.

Another concern is Facebook's impact on privacy. The platform has been criticized for collecting vast amounts of personal data from its users and using it to target them with ads. This has led to worries about how this data could be used in the future, particularly by governments or other organizations with malicious intent.

Finally, there are concerns about how Facebook may be affecting democracy. The platform has been accused of allowing fake news and propaganda to spread, which could affect political outcomes. It has also been criticized for not doing enough to prevent the spread of hate speech and extremist content, which could lead to violence and other social problems.

Despite these concerns, Facebook remains a popular and widely used social media platform. It offers many benefits, including the ability to connect with people around the world, share information and ideas, and build communities. However, it is important for users to be aware of the potential risks and to take steps to protect themselves, such as limiting their use of social media, being cautious about what they share online, and reporting abusive or harmful content.

Facebook A Disappointing Experience: A Honest Review of Royal Story on Facebook

Facebook is a well-known social media platform that has millions of users worldwide. However, when it comes to its gaming system, it is not always reliable. Many games on Facebook tend to be quite annoying and can have numerous bugs and glitches.

One such game that I would like to review is Royal Story. At first glance, it seems like an interesting game with nice graphics and a world-building scenario. However, the game is plagued with bugs and glitches that reduce the gaming experience significantly. The worst part is that it suffers from serious lag issues that can make playing the game an exercise in frustration.

The game designers claim that they are working on these issues, but it has been over a month, and there has not been any significant change. Events added to the game only seem to make things worse. Players often post on the game's fan page, but their concerns seem to be largely ignored.

Moreover, when it comes to customer service, the designers' response is lacking. If you have an issue with the game, they will demand endless screenshots of payments made, account numbers, etc. This can take over a week before responding, and often it takes persistent emails and postings on their page to get any attention. Their lack of cooperation leaves much to be desired, and I have no patience for businesses that make customers jump through unnecessary hoops to get what they've paid for.

Apart from the game's issues, it is also not free. There is an option for a subscription for $15 a month. The currency for the "good stuff" is rubies, which are quite expensive for what little you get. You can play a less entertaining game without them, but it can be frustrating.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Royal Story to anyone. If you can tolerate the lag, bugs, and glitches, it is an okay game, but it is still not worth the frustration. The game's numerous side games, events, and offers only add to the mess. Moreover, their customer service skills are poor, making it a bad business practice. Unless you want to waste your money and get nothing in return, I would suggest that you stay away from this game.

Facebook Beware of Oliver and Olivia Apparel/ Buffalo Shirt Company: Dishonest Owners, Bankruptcy, and Unpaid Employees/Clients

I have recently come across some alarming information about Olvier and Olivia Apparel and its owner, Jill Snow-Ford and Trent Ford. They have now rebranded as "Buffalo Shirt Company" on ETSY under false names. This business filed for bankruptcy on March 17, 2021, after their troublesome practices came to light.

As an employee of the company, I am warning everyone about this company and its couple of operators. On March 2nd, 2021, late at night, Jill informed her entire team of over 35 people, including me, via text message that we were all out of jobs with no warning. Now, we are worried about receiving our final payments for the last two weeks of work, considering the couple's history of dishonesty, financial mismanagement, and lies that brought the company to its downfall.

Leading up to their bankruptcy, Jill has been fraudulently listing products on ETSY, Amazon, and Jane that the company could not deliver. Even if we had inventory, the advertisements quoted production times that were not realistic, and customers would not receive items advertised for two days until 90 days later. Our shop would then print shipping labels without fulfilling orders, causing us to be ineligible for a refund and users to blame mail carriers for the delays.

Rather than bad bookkeeping, it is clear that Jill has been deceiving her customers for a long time. She rebranded “Oliver and Olivia Apparel” on Jane to “Printed Tees Shirt Company” just days after firing us, and the Jane shop has now closed. There is much more to the story, and several employees came forward to share their unpleasant experiences with Jill's corrupt business tactics.

Our team of employees struggled to keep up with orders leading up to Christmas, but Jill refused to remove the listings despite our repeated pleas. She openly spent the company's money recklessly, despite our struggling finances, and had just bought a million-dollar estate for herself.

Jill repeatedly blamed her managers for her poor decision-making and even threatened to fire us if we did not come in for overtime on Christmas weekend. Her immature behavior and policies have made it clear that she is unfit to run a business.

As we struggle to find new employment or file for unemployment, we fear we may not receive payments, and hundreds, maybe thousands, of customers will not receive items they paid for or be given refunds by O&O. You can share this information so that employees and customers alike can rescue their time and avoid a dishonest company.

I have added some links where you can view their old Etsy shop, closed Printed Tees Shirt Company shop, Amazon shop, news report about their company, Reddit post, new Buffalo Shirt Company shop, Shopify store, and Facebook Marketplace.
