I would like to return my Facebook account to the state it was in six weeks ago so that I can reset my password, and otherwise secure my account.
My Facebook account was hacked; someone changed the password, as well as the e-mail address. Without either, I cannot log into my account, change the password, or do anything suggested by their "help" pages. Ironically, when you select the "someone changed my e-mail address," they ask you to log in with... wait for it... wait for it... your e-mail address.
For a incredibly large company, with so many opportunities for identity theft, there must be some way to talk or chat with tech support to resolve problems like this.

The poster on the private facebook page has doctored a image I got from the rights holder originally. I had permission to restore the image and colourize it. I inserted three watermarks with my name on it. The poster removed those watermarks to give the impression they did the work.
I spend a great deal of my own time restoring images and colourizing them I dont not take kindly to a person plagiarize my work. This isnt the first time they have done this.

Account Hacked can not get into my old account
Hello, my Facebook account was hacked, have had this account for 14 years. On my old account I was messaged through my friend on Facebook, about some beneficiaries grant, that they were doing, to help, people pay for repairs or housing, and that supposedly the government was giving out grant money through this site Beneficiaries Grant, and method of delivery through fed ex next day, but you, had to pay for shipping and a certificate saying you, got the money. Well, these people got into my account, I have proof of the messages and screen shots of money sent through gift card. I deleted the account but apparently these people started to do it again, from my old account and targeting people that I know.
Please
I cannot recover my old account because password and email has been changed completely. I need this account deleted permanently and resolved, and to catch these hackers doing this being someone that they not.
Desired outcome: Permantley delete my old account and catch the hackers. Or a way to recover my old account even though everything was changed from email to to password, which I do not know at all, because I did not do this change.

Did you receive any help or advice? I have had the same happen to me!
Unable to file an online report about dealing with marketplace
Good Morning:
I've been trying for a few weeks now to file something about a fraudulent incident my wife and I both had dealing with a Facebook Marketplace group/individual. I have a bunch of messages (text, Messenger) which I will gladly supply via screenshots or whatever may I can figure it out. We're both in our mid 70"s and trying to find out the best way to get this information to Facebook. Anyway we're out $300 Venmo payment and other requests by this man were gift card or PayPal or more Venmo payments and shipping was cash only or gift card. It's all a scam and I want to report it somehow but can't do so on my Facebook page. Please have someone tell me the best way to get this information to you. Thank you for your time.
Fred C. Weaver Jr.
Facebook email = [protected]@aol.com
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response to report all of this information to you.
Facebook Ad Center, Events, Posting, and General
5/1/2023 - 5/14/2023
They began by deciding I was not me even when I showed them my driver's license. I can prove my identity and they still suspended all business activities I could do using facebook options. Then they started blocking my blog saying it was spam. Then today they stopped a live event saying I was talking too fast. CLEARLY, they are targeting me, and need to be dealt with.
Desired outcome: I would like payment in lost revenues, and I would like all of my abilities restored, and I would like an official apology for their bigotry and wrongness.
Facebook dating app

Hacked account
My husband's account has been hacked. They have stuff listed for sale and have STOLEN from our friends who did not know the account was hacked. We have tried everything we can to recover the account and reported the account several times, and Facebook seems to do NOTHING about it. I believe theft should be handled very seriously and they are doing NOTHING!
Desired outcome: To block the hacker, and let us get his account back so no one else get robbed of their money!!!
Facebook hacked
The other day my wife's Facebook account got hacked by someone. Now she is unable to access her account. We have tried contacting Facebook and got ahold of someone that said they would help but wanted us to give them our bank account number. I will never give out that information to anyone period. We have taken steps to make sure all of that information is safe but really not sure for how long. Each individual we have talked to has been rude. Do I need to talk to our attorney general to get help or will you help us out? I'm not making threats but this has gone on long enough and we need this to be taken care of. I was also sent a message from the individual saying to send them $100.00 dollars and they would give my wife's account back. We all know how that works.

My own face book account set up within the last year or so
I WANT TO KNOW WHY MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT HAS BEEN BLOCKED!
I joined the Defford face book, and use it occasionally to just to log in and see the village face book.
Only using it on occasions.
This is the first time I have had an account, and not very impressed with the service. You have told me it is blocked BUT WHY.

Desired outcome: To have an account I can use
Facebook business account
Who in the world do I need to speak to regarding my account be hacked and Fb restricting and disabling my fb page and business account. These circumstances' have caused undue stress and I have not been able to get any one to listen on fb. The fb software won't even let me change my name back to myself after validating the hack. My business account was disabled because the hacker put himself as admin on my account. Fb has yet to allow me back to advertise for my business because the hacker posted child nudity and fb restricted my account and there is no one to contact regarding this issue. facebook customer support is terrible. There is none.
I wouldn't be surprised if it is FB way to silence people.
Wild Mountain Honey Cabin
Desired outcome: My account to be restored to back to and fb to acknowledge it was hacked.
2 factor login problem
I have had a personal Page (10 Years) & a page for my internet radio station since 2015. Facebook forced me into the 2 Factor login crap. I had never used it and did not understand it. I finally figured it out and got a code generator and was able to get in. I did routine maintenance on my computer and clean out all of the garbage that is downloaded from using my computer. After that I could not log in again. I have sent Facebook messages with little or no response. I have sent them ID to which they don't like any of what I send to them. There is some information I will not send to them. I can not get beyond the screen wanting the 5 digit code other than the ID page. I only access Facebook from my PC. I do not want to access it from my phone. I have sent EMail messages to their security department but get no response. I even sent a Snail Mail letter to them again no response. I purchased a 2 Factor key but in order to set it up I need to get into my account. I never set up a phone number or photo of myself simply for security reasons. Facebook has a sorry approach to helping their users.
Desired outcome: I just want to get back in my account after being locked out for over a year.
Double charges
On April 18/23 withdrawn from my Canadian bank account in Canadian dollars 13.46. Transaction ID 5GN8650SV6204507. Also on April 19/23 3 separate charges to my bank account 2 for 13.44 Canadian Dollars Transactions #s 1R984656FX312501H and 1GG98996A0809364X. And one for 13.46 Tr# 5GN86504SV6204507. On my US visa card 1 charge on April 18/23 10.51 US PP metaplatfor [protected] CA. April 19th 3 charges on US Visa for 10.48 US Dollars # [protected] all 3 have same numbers. Therefore I paid for the 4 transactions twice. I understand the 4 Canadian charges but have no idea why I paid any charges from my US account. I am owed 41.95 US dollars.
Desired outcome: I would like the 41.95 US Dollars deposited back into my US account
Being kicked off of marketplace
I was trying to make a purchase on marketplace. I was considering several sellers and all of a sudden I was restricted from using marketplace until I was investigated for breaking the FB rules on marketplace. I informed them that I wasn't trying to sell anything but rather I'm trying to make a purchase. They instructed me to wait until they investigated me and they would let me know the outcome. Finally after several days I was informed I was kicked off of marketplace but I could ask the to reconsider my case. You have 3 opportunities to request them to reconsider your case and you're out for good. I couldn't ask anyone what I had done and there is no recourse. They just restricted me from ever using marketplace again with no reason. I am now pursuing enough people that had had this done to them to join in on a class action lawsuit. As a result I have returned to Craigslist. What a bunch of a--h----.
Desired outcome: I really don't know if I want to ever deal with these despicable pieces of s--- again. I'd like to join together with a lawsuit against FB more that anything else.

Navigating Facebook's Algorithm: Tips and Tricks for Success
Facebook is a social media platform that most of us are familiar with. However, one aspect that people often lament is the algorithm that decides how many people will see their posts. Often, these posts are of great importance, and one would like a more significant audience to view it.
While Facebook may seem like it's trying to exploit you, just like other platforms such as YouTube and Twitter, one should treat these campaigns with discernment. Although spending money is expected to bring in more money, you should not be foolish while doing so.
For example, as an author or anyone trying to sell a product, promoting what you have to offer is crucial. Creating book pages and character pages, using tags and URL's, and reposting regularly can prove to be beneficial. You may feel as though you're annoying your friends by posting over and over, but this action is necessary if you want people to know that you exist.
However, it's essential to note that the content you post is just as crucial as the promotion of it. Staying away from touchy subjects such as politics and religion can save you from losing potential customers or followers. Unless you're a politician or religious writer, it's best to avoid these topics altogether.
Ultimately, beating Facebook algorithms requires dedication and hard work. While shortcuts may work for some people, it's necessary to put in the effort yourself. Writing long posts or articles may strain your keyboard, but it's necessary to push yourself to do better.
In conclusion, Facebook is a platform that has the potential to help you reach a broader audience. However, it's no walk in the park, and you must put in the effort and time needed to be successful.
Facebook: A Platform Lacking Concern for Users & Serious Issues
As someone who has had experience with Facebook on both personal and business levels, I must say that my opinion of the platform is not positive. While I can understand the need for paid advertising in order to boost visibility, it seems unreasonable that page owners must pay simply to ensure that their posts are seen by members who have liked their page. It creates a system where only those with deep pockets can be heard, while others are left struggling to make themselves heard.
Furthermore, I have found the reporting system to be incredibly frustrating. When attempting to make reports about issues with my page, such as inaccurate stats or problems with adding admins, I have received no response from the Facebook team. This is despite multiple attempts to contact them and follow up on my issues. It seems that while they quickly take down certain types of content, such as revealing personal photos, they are less concerned with resolving serious issues and concerns.
Another issue I've come across is discriminatory behavior towards certain types of users. For example, I've seen pages with highly inappropriate names or containing offensive content go unchallenged by Facebook, while others are blocked or removed without reason. It's also troubling that those who hold certain beliefs or choose to use different names are singled out and required to provide identification simply in order to use the platform.
Lastly, it seems that Facebook doesn't take issues regarding offensive or harmful content seriously. Even when many people make reports about a particular page or group, the company seems to have a bias towards certain people or groups and continues to allow offensive content to be published. This is simply unacceptable and shows a lack of concern for user safety and wellbeing.
Overall, I've found Facebook to be immature and poorly run when it comes to handling serious concerns and safeguarding user experience. While I still use the platform on rare occasions, I would caution others against wasting their money on paid features or relying too heavily on it as a means of building their business or personal brand.
LinkedIn's political censorship sets a dangerous precedent - Department of Justice must intervene
The recent suspension of users on LinkedIn for simply responding to a political post on the platform is a concerning move by the administration. During these difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic, where jobs are scarce, such actions by LinkedIn are not only aggressive but also cruel. It should be held accountable by the Department of Justice.
As LinkedIn has become a monopoly and the go-to source for job market profiles, it is akin to food and water for individuals. To suspend user IDs due to political views is equivalent to denying them the ability to earn a daily income, affecting not only the individual but also their family. This monopoly position has given LinkedIn the power to allow only voices that align with their political ideology. It is unjust to suspend only those whose views differ from LinkedIn's stance while not punishing the origin of the political post.
LinkedIn should immediately disallow political posts and unsuspend all blocked user IDs. They are not authorized judges but rather a platform for individuals to connect and network. As other big tech companies, like Google, Facebook, Twitter Quora, and similar networking sites have faced congressional hearings, the same should occur to LinkedIn. If found guilty, they should be broken into smaller companies to prevent big tech from dominating the lives of ordinary and normal human beings.
It is not a coincidence that all big tech companies have joined hands to block individuals whose views do not align with those of the Democrats. There have been instances of algorithms being deployed to group user IDs and reduce their visibility solely because they do not support the ideology of the big tech companies. They want to control humanity in a way never seen before, which requires immediate intervention from governing bodies, politicians, and courts to enforce the Social Media Regulatory Act.
In conclusion, the actions of LinkedIn are unjust and require accountability. They should not take sides or block individuals based on their views. With great power comes great responsibility, and LinkedIn should remember this if it is to continue its monopoly position.
