This company will not quit calling me. I have asked over and over for them to take me off the list and to quit calling. I regret ever buying anything from them because they will not leave me alone. They call early Saturday mornings, they call me at my work number during the day. IF there is anything you can do to make them take me off their list I would greatly appreciate it.

extreme amount of phone calls, leaving no messages
I purchased a couple films from Feature Films for Families many, many years ago when I had younger children in my home. I would continue to get calls throughout the years occasionally, but nobody ever left a message. I answered on one occasion about a year ago and explained to the sales rep that I don't have young kids at home anymore, but he explained the films would be good for all audiences. I agreed to order one film. To my dismay, it was a film that was several years old, that I have never heard of. It came in a thin paperboard package and for the price, I could have just rented it off Red Box or watched it on Netflix! I paid for the film using my credit card, so there are no outstanding debt issues here. Since then, I get at least 5-7 phone calls DAILY from Feature Films for Families. I work full-time and cannot usually take calls where I am. So I look through my missed calls and call them back. Feature Films for Families uses SEVERAL DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS to INUNDATE me with calls. They NEVER, EVER leave a message. I find this to be very unprofessional. Any reputable business with legitimate business to conduct will leave a message. I don't really know what to do here. Call them? Ask THEM to stop calling ME?! It is taking up MY valuable time to go through my call log daily and see SO MANY NUMBERS only to find out they are ALL FROM FEATURE FILMS FOR FAMILIES. I just want them to STOP CALLING ME. I am NOT interested in buying from them again. Thanks for reading. God bless you all!
persistent phone calls
Thirty years ago I was delighted to receive films from this company for our daughters and continued to order for our grandchildren. In 2013 when we were care giving for our mothers, I asked the calls to stop. This morning after getting off work at 3:00 AM I received a wake up call from this company at 8:30 AM. I am on the Do Not Call Registry, I have asked for the calls to stop and yet they persist. I regret that I gave out friends' names to help with their cause and mission, because now they too are receiving the harassing phone calls. Sadly, a company that wants to promote healthy family living does not honor those families that have patronized them for years. Our mothers both died in 2013 and we wanted to spend our time with them, not running to answer the phone only to be harassed. I believe I will report this to the Ohio State Attorney General. Please stop the calls.

sales calls
This company will not stop calling. They called and I immediately said no thank you and hung up. They called again and my husband talked to them for a full 2-3 minutes making it abundantly clear that they should stop calling. Then they proceeded to call multiple times asking for me when my husband answered the phone and hanging up when he offered to take a message. I finally answered and had to yell at them for several minutes about not calling anymore and brett only repeatedly said "please don't hand up". No please stop calling. These pressured sales calls (implying that the way to save the world is to support their business as if it's a non-profit) have been happening for 15 years.
relentless for calls trying to sell their family based movies
I got on the "easy target" list when I purchased a few VHS movies (ya that long ago), thinking that would be it. Its the same complaint as a lot of other people...kids are grown, out of the house, and I don't have time to watch movies. It doesn't matter what I tell them, they will not take no for an answer in their sales pitch for me to buy more movies. I explained buying movies is not a priority financially as my husband recently went through a liver transplant, needs a kidney, has heart problems along with being in and out of hospitals and I am financially overwhelmed with being the head of household and caregiver. The salesmans lack of empathy and my need not to be bothered by the constant phone calls when we both need our rest is inexcusable. My caller ID always shows some other company so as to get me to answer. I know his voice so I automatically say I'm not home. I don't know how to get this guy off my line other than to say I died. What can be done?
high pressure sales tactics and non-stop calling
I received a phone call from this company asking if I would try some of their films. When I explained we no longer had children at home, they gave their sales pitch for our grandchildren. I agreed to purchase two movies and had to get rude with the salesperson for trying to pressure me into buying more. When the movies arrived, our grandkids enjoyed them. However, I was so put off by the high pressure tactics of the salespeople, I decided not to purchase any more. When they called the next time, I politely explained I did not want to purchase any additional movies and asked them to remove my name from their list. The sales person got very aggressive trying to get me to reconsider. I finally had to hang up on him because I could not get him to take a polite "no more" for an answer. Since then, I have had six more calls. Each time I have explained I am not interested, do not like their sales tactics and asked them to quit calling. The most recent call came about two hours ago. I feel I am being harassed. I would never do business with this firm based on my experiences with their salespeople - regardless of how good their product might be. If I receive another call, I am going to refer this to my lawyer to see if harassment charges can be filed. BTW - telling them I am on the Do Not Call list made no difference.
movies I paid for
I ordered movies 5 years ago. They were paid for and I informed FFFF that I no longer wanted to order or did not want to be contacted to acquire any more. These people are like a bunch of Pirannahs, they call 3 or 4 times a week, some times 3 or 4 times a day. Especially this guy named Brian, Customer service ctr : [protected]; and FFFF [protected]. If I get another call from them...Night or day...at the earliest opportunity I will turn ALL THIS INFORMATION..including names and phone numbers over to my Washington State Attorney General and press for prosecution. .
We ordered 2 or 3 films over 20 years ago from this company the films were okay but I decided too much money so I cancelled getting any more, no more films came but they kept calling and saying I owed them money which was already paid. My youngest daughter is now 29 and the first few times I paid for those films AGAIN just to get these annoying calls to stop. Everything was fine no more calls then 5 years later calls came again saying that I still owe them money/ I told them they are wrong I have already paid for the films I had received not once but twice and that they are scammers. Then they give a spiel saying we can overlook that if you'd like to order 2 new films. What? No! I learned my lesson the first time I would never buy films from you again. Then they say you leave us no options we are going to have to report you for non-payment. Non-payment we paid twice. They are crooks avoid them, don't talk to them, and don't buy from them or they will be telling you every few years you still owe them money for there paid for tapes. I just received a call from them tonight at least 20 years later. Unbelievable! They should be ashamed to say they are Christian/family films because their agency is anything but!
won&t stop calling me+
I bought a couple of films from them about 15 yrs ago for my nephew to watch. He enjoyed one, not the other. I have not purchased anything from them since. However, they are still calling me to buy movies and he is now a senior in high school. I want no more phone calls and no more movies! I have no children of my own so it really bothers me. They keep saying I have a $5 credit for my next movie. They can send me a check. I will not buy from them again.
will not stop calling me
I have told Feature Films for Families at least two or three times in the past to take me off their calling list. I did order one of their movies about ten years ago and now they keep calling me. I'm on the national Do Not Call registry. They called tonight, the caller said his name was Bret or Brent. As soon as he told me he was with Feature Films for Families, I told him I had requested to be taken off their call list and to please not call again. He said he would just try to call back later. I told him again that I didn't want him calling back, I wanted to be taken off their calling list. He never stopped talking and didn't listen to a word I was saying. He just kept reading his script I guess, I wasn't really listening because I was still talking and I told him very loudly and firmly "If you don't take me off your calling list, I'll file a complaint" and he still kept talking so I hung up on him. I've never had a telemarketer talk over me and ignore me like that.
harassment even though I returned unopened package via same mailing service
The introductory merchandise was returned unopened via usps and the company had been informed. That has been about march. Repeatedly since and until this day, after I spoke and explained to them of the matter with each of their calls since april 28, 2013, they continue to call. Harassment - yes am I being scam? Who gave them my phone number? Please help

I have received calls from this company off and on for 1 year. They are calling for someone I don't even know. They have been told repeatedly that person does not live at the phone number they have. One agent even gave me the persons address which is in another city. I have tried to be nice, then been rude told them to check with the phone company and they would see they are calling the wrong address all to no avail.
They call on multiple nimbers at different times of the day. I know longer answer my phone unless I know the number. Any idea on how to make these people stop ?
Send them a certified letter with return receipt requested. In the letter, state that they are to cease and desist any further contact to the phone number (provide it to them) because it does not belong to the person they are trying to contact. Type your name at the bottom of the letter (do NOT sign it. This should be enough to make them stop. If it doesn't, you can always contact a NACA attorney in your area (www.naca.net).
send me too many tapes at one time.
I received a call from them. At time I would buy movie from them, came home one day and answer my phone and talk with them I thought they were going to send me a couple of movies like they did before, well they sent me 500 movies at one time. The bill came to $687.00 and they wanted $68.00 every time I made a payment. The reason I paid because I partial remember some of our conversation by telephone. And I am clean up my credit score as fast as I can so I can get out of the building where I am living. I have wrote them a letter and told them to never ever call me again because I am cancel from there club. I never receive so many family movies at one time in my life. I am 58 years old I have no children but I have plenty of niece and nephews and that is how I got into buy there movies in the first place. I would give them our as gift to them I have 13 sister and brother and 28 niece and nephews so I would join clubs so I could get a little from this one and little from that one, this company told that I was help them promoted there clean movies for family but I would have never dream they would some them to me like that. I am still paying this bill. They just sent me a letter and told me that I still owe them $276.00. I work 4 days a week, and I am also paying them government back for overdraft payment, which this company I work for told me I could work and then tell ssi the goverment whether I wanted to get off ssdi well nine month was too long and so I wind up owe them 9, 000.00 and I have paid $5, 000.00 and I still owe them 4, 489.00 I am pay everyone that I owe off of my credit score when I start out my credit score was 100/100/100 and now I got it up to 503/545/600 so I have paid off a lot of merchant store and credit cards, and book clubs and here come another one pull the same thing stop this people from doing this to anyone else.

harassing phone calls at my workplace!
How dare these people calling my office to try to sell to me! Are you kidding! I never gave them my office number, ever!
5 years ago I purchased some dvd's from this company for my nieces and nephews, Because I was a sucker! I supported this company about 4 times (4 purchases of bundles of dvd movies for kids). I told them 3 years ago that I was no longer interested. I had my home phone line disconnected. I longer have a home phone line and they don't have my cell number. It's a new cell phone, new number. This week, 4/08/2013, I got a call at my office from Feature Films for Families. I was incredulous! Wtf! They investigated me, hunted me down and located my office telephone number! This has to be illegal! I have never provided them with information on my place of work. Then they called back every day since. They ask the receptionist if I'm there, and as soon as she transfers the call to me, they hang up. I called the number they called from. They called my office at 8:49 this morning, but when I redialed the number, it says they're not open until 9:30am. They have a few other numbers they called from: [protected], [protected] is another one. I'm in the right profession to get to the bottom of this bs. I got something for them FFFF and another F is on the way!

When you tell them you're not interested, they just keep on talking. I couldn't get a word in edgewise, so I just put the phone down and let the guy keep talking. Their calls boarder on harrassment -- I bought a couple films a while ago, I would never buy anything from them due to the phone calls.
Persistent in follow up calls after repeatedly requesting no additional contact as a work at home employee I cannot keep these interruptions - They refuse to comply

They are now calling my job. I can't believe this. I never gave them my number at my workplace. How dare they hunt me down to try to market to me at work.
excessive cell phone solicitation
Years ago I regularly purchased family appropriate movie videos/dvds from this company. My children are now 27 and 22 and live on their own. I have explained this to this company and that I don't want to purchase any more movies. I discontinued my land line and now they have somehow tracked me down on my cell phone. I receive multiple calls each day from multiple states and numbers - all which originate with this company when I check out the numbers through Google. I was and still am on the "Do Not CALL!" registry - so how are they getting away with this?! How do I stop them?
Companies you have an "established business relationship" with are exempt from the DNC act. I'm sure they would claim they have one with you -- no matter how many years have elapsed since you last bought something from them. Call your state Department of Consumer Affairs and see what they tell you to do to stop this harassment because that's what it sounds like this amounts to based on other complaints I've seen. It's really disturbing that they found your cell number!
I agree, they call too many times and they act like you were expecting their call.
harassment by phone
I have asked them to remove me from their phone list. I am on the do not call list and they are calling my cell phone. They still continue to call my cell phone, which is illegal. I have saved their phone numbers in my phone so that I can ignore their calls. They have called me from about twenty different numbers from across the country.

I am getting 2-3 calls A DAY and have been for months from this company and always from different numbers from numerous states. As soon as I block one number a different number calls me. I have answered a few of the calls only to be told I have a huge "Credit" with them and it needs to be used up blah blah blah. The more you say the more they just keep talking and telling them to take me off their calling list does absolutely no good at all! Can charges be filled for harassment?
movies
I complained to this company, in an e-mail, that I didn't want any more movies, but they keep coming and payment is automatically taken out of my account. Does any one have any recommendations of how I can take care of this problem?

If you paid with a Mastercard or Visa, report to them. They have better luck at getting money back than we do!
I'd caved to the pressure of the phone calls and ordered a bunch of movies. I never opened them because I wasn't sure I could pay; that, I wasn't sure the cost was reasonable, nor that my family and I would enjoy them. My Pastor had taught us to pray before making calls dealing with matters (bills): that God would direct us to the right individual and, that if they weren't helpful, to hang up and call back. I called the company and, explained my situation. The representative initially told me that I could not return them because of a 30 or 60-day policy or, stop the payments. If my recollection serves me further, I believe she even told me that they may or may not accept the movies back. In which case, I'd have to continue making payments for them--and, that I may not receive my money back. I, basically, had to put up a bit of a fuss insisting that they accept the movies back, credit my account, and cease further shipments and charges. It's been over a month and I've not received any further shipments. They did not sent the movies back to me. However, I have yet to receive any money back. I don't believe any charges have been posted to my account, though. Thus, I'd began a on-line search for their contact information in order to contact them regarding my refund when I found this website. I didn't know there was a site directed at complaints (and, so many complaints) on this company; but, I'm not totally surprised. Hope the information I provided helps! God bless and give you favor in dealing with this situation.
I have the same probelm, but I dont even get the movies. I tried calling and emailing and going to htier web site. THese r supposed to be a Christian org? It has turned into a scam that needs to be let known to others
customer service/administrative
While I have enjoyed movies from this company, their customer service is unprofessional and lacking in the true knowledge of what it means to "serve." Administratively, they're overwhelmingly incompetent. Almost as if they were deaf, never hearing what I say. I've updated my name, phone number, address with this company numerous times, and all for naught, it seems, because I keep running into proplems with them. They recently sent 2 movies to an address I lived at 12 years ago but managed to get the right account to take my money out of. I asked for a refund 3 days ago. I'm still waiting . . .
will not stop calling us!
My husband receives daily phone calls from this company! We have told them multiple times that we are no longer interested in buying films and to please stop calling. Today, my husband firmly asked to speak to a manager and was refused! Instead, we were given this number to call: [protected]. We called and were left on hold. It is really sad that they are so harassing over the phone when in fact they have good films for kids.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
As long as you buy their movies, they will keep you happy. But, the moment you try to stop, HOLD ON! They will call endlessly to get you to break down and buy again. It doesn't matter if your children have outgrown the movies, moved out, flown off the planet... they want your money and will not stop until they get it. They switch area codes every other day if you are blocking or rejecting the numbers they have used. Reputable businesses do not need to "hide" under multiple listings, leave no voice message, use pressure to sell their product (ie will NOT hang up when you have told them several times in the call you are no longer interested) leaving you to hang up on them -- only to be called right back within two days by a different number and the same thing starts all over again. I have lost ALL respect for this company. Their product is WORTHLESS when it is being shoved down our throats, They should change their name to Feature Films For FUNDS, as that is all the are really interested in, not families who no longer want their films,
This damned company is a real pain they keep on calling even after they have been told not to - so legal action may follow.
I don't know who these people are but they are a damned menace.
I bought a couple of children's films from Feature Films for Families about 9 years ago. Now their telemarket people are constantlycalling and harrassing us almost daily, in spite of requests to stop calling us. Our children are in college now! Their telemarket people are extremely rude and hang up when we tell them we are not interested, but then continue to call. I am so sorry we ever dealt with this company.
I am surprised by the complaints I am reading about this company's phone calls. I have been ordering from Feature Films for Families for almost ten years, and I have not ever had a problem with this company. Over the last two years I have asked them to only call me once every three months, and they have honored that every time. I do not get hounded by phone calls - ever! FFF used to only get phone numbers for contacting new customers, from current customers. I am not sure if they still do this, but at one time their business was on a word-of-mouth basis. As far as pushing people to buy things, they do always try to add on another movie. If you say no, then they ask about adding on a kid's coloring book that goes along with the teaching values of the movie; if you say no, they may ask one more thing. However, the representatives I have dealt with over the years are never rude, and handle no's just fine. They are no different than any other sales company I have dealth with, in that respect only. Please keep in mind that they are a 'family friendly' movie company meaning you are not going to be able to buy adult movies that are on the typical line of movies today. This is what Feature Films for Families is all about. They are movies for those of us, like myself, who are tired of all the violence, cussing, and sex that is so common place nowadays. I love FFF, and have not had a single problem with them in the ten years I have been a customer. I fully support their cause and the message they are sending to the entertainment industry: less violence, less cussing, less sexual passe attitudes, more family values. Darla
harassment
We ordered from this company on a regular basis several years ago. All of a sudden, they are calling us, and saying, "You know, you owe us for 8 movies (a lie), but if you order 2 now, we'll forgive you." They've spun this yarn so much, I think they're starting to believe it. We've asked for documentation, and have yet to receive it.
My husband ordered movies from this company many years ago, and our daughter enjoyed them. That was over 10 years ago, and she has since moved out on her own. We don't have small children in our home anymore.
When the representative called, I explained this to him, and he assured me that the movies we would order would be movies that adults would enjoy, not just children's movies. I agreed to order some movies; I was not happy with the pressure that ensued to have me buy more and more movies as the call progressed.
When the movies arrived I was extremely disappointed to discover that of the 20 movies sent, only 2 would be not be considered movies for young children. I was upset because I made it quite clear to the caller that I didn't want this, and he sent them anyway.
I have just called today to cancel this order, and was told it would take about 6 weeks to process my refund. We'll see how that goes, but will notify the credit card company just in case there is a problem later on down the line.
If called again I will definitely ask to be taken off their call list, and will explain why in detail.
I ordered some movies from this company years ago when my grand children were little and they did love the movies. But as the children got older and money got tighter I tried several times to tell the people that called my home on daily basis that I could no longer purchase these movies. They continue to call me daily. This went on for years and I have since moved from that home into another town and new home number that isnt listed and low and behold this company has got this phone number and started calling me again, I have told them repeatedly to stop calling me. They use different phone numbers and names to call from. Month ago they called and I answered and I told them in no uncertain terms to not call me again or I was going to turn them over to authorities and hung the phone up. Three days ago they started calling me again. It's everyday all day till 10 pm at night. What am I to do?
We ordered one time and received what we ordered. They continue to call back daily and will not stop calling even after they have been asked to stop. The products they sell are cheap quality and exspensive. I do not want to change my phone number just to keep them from bothering us day after day.
I too ordered family movies from this company over 12 years ago! I have since been through a divorce, moved to a new state and my children have grown. YET, they have tracked me down and now yesterday called my place of work! Come on! They left a detailed message including a disclaimer that the call was made for telemarketing purposes and included the phone number for FFFF. We are on the Do Not Call list for our home and cell phones, though I did not include my work phone. My concern in this is, I have gone through many changes over the past 12 years, and yet they tracked me down for advertising purposes.
I bought films from these "people" for about a year. They let me cancel easily enough, but the phone calls have not stopped. They are coming almost daily since I got rude with them. I regret the day I ever bought their second-rate movies. Most of them are in the bargain racks of any movie rental store before FFFF ever puts them in the mail. I'm talking years before!
We only bought one video from this company and paid by check (once we received the movie and got an invoice) as my husband said you don't want to give a voice on the phone you don't know a credit card number. However, apparently we now have an "account" with them -- they continued to call and finally I yelled at them on the phone to stop calling and they did for a while -- now they are back calling. You can't get this monkey off your back. Maybe if it got brought to one of the major networks attention about the harassment of this company it would help. Does anyone have any ideas? For any of you considering getting a video or videos from them, my suggestion is DON'T!
Very similar circumstances for me too. Only I got on the payment plan in which regular installments were being taken out prior to me calling to say I wasn't happy with all of the films. They informed me that I had paid for them and wouldn't get a reimbursement and could only exchange for different videos. I will never be buying another video that will just sit on my self from them again.
non complaint
I have been doing business with this company for over 15 years. I own every movie they have ever produced. Each time they produce a new set of movies they contact me and yes i buy everyone they put out. It is one of the very few places that you can purchase movies today that has absolutely no sex scenes and no profanity for those parents and grandparent...
