Fingerhut refunds on shipping

We ordered a stove from Fingerhut, the first order was canceled by Fingerhut because it was damaged with no communication to us, so when we called to inquire about it's arrival that's when we we're informed of the cancellation, at that time we reordered with an estimated arrival of 3 weeks, durning this time our account showed a balance for the purchase and we were required to make 2 payments before we every received the stove. The second stove came smashed, unable to use, the delivery company that delivered it would only deliver as far as the garage, when my husband came home and we unboxed it we saw the damage. We notified Fingerhut who told us it was the manufacturers responsibility to pick up, called manufacturer and of course they denied responsibility, more phone calls back and forth with Fingerhut, no resolution but still had to make payments on a stove that was unusable. After 6 weeks of phone calls, the usual runaround, the original delivery company finally picked up the stove. 4 weeks later they gave us a refund minus the cost of shipping it back to them! Why am I paying for return shipping? You forced us to make payments on a stove that was not in our possession, then arrived smashed unable to use, it isn't like we changed our minds and decided we didn't want it? WE WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN! They call and harass you for payments, but are of little help to resolve issues, they way they treated this situation is in ethical and unfair.

Fingerhut I never received or purchase any merchandise from fingerhut

The merchandise that they sent to my house was sent back to them package not open because I did not want it. I got charge for it anyway .My credit has a bad mark on it because of them. I called them and ask them to remove it from my credit and they did not remove it from credit. Still trying to get it remove from my credit. They are a scam they was reporting me every month for 4 months because I refuse to pay them for something I did not purchase or use. I need this to be removed from my credit report.

Fingerhut fingerhut is hopeless

It's too expensive. Even for me their loyal customer there's still no proper offer. The quality doesn't match the prices. Enough to just look at what they sell to understand it. Absolutely stupid customer service with employees not speaking a fluent English and if you need help from them forget it.
I don't know how you're still in business, but it's strange.

Fingerhut this company should have the word deception in the front of its name.

This is far most the worst company for higher interest rates and make every attempt to high jack people who have minimal credit by charging higher interest rates. Their customer service department is even worst, no trained people skills, as well as foreigners from around the globe who are not English speaking representatives an inadequacy to speak a minimal of the English language. For 5 months I have been trying to resolve a simple matter of concern. Thinking that I was doing something good, I made a payment ahead of my actual due date, because of Fingerhut cycle for monthly payments, I did not get credit for the payment, while I am thinking the payment would go for the next month payment I guess the payment just started floating somewhere because although Fingerhut had record of it, they couldn't tell me where the funds went they were not applied to the balance, they were not refunded to my account, yet I was charged a late fee for the following month of the payment I had made in advance, which now put my account behind two payments. Each time I spoke with a customer service rep or credit dept rep, I received varying responses never the same, lies and deception is what I call it. As of this day I have spoken to 9 different people between customer service and the credit dept and this matter has not been resolved, I have not received the $85.00 in my checking account as I have been told, no one seem to know what happened, they are just reading off of notes left be someone else and not following through to see if the funds were actually submitted and returned. I received a payment due of $249.00 which should actually be $78.00 and after refusing to leave it alone I persisted and finally they realized I didn't owe $249.00 after I was constantly told this is what I would have to pay. I received phones calls after phone calls about past due payments until I asked to be removed from the list of making calls about payment. Just imagine if people didn't have their paper work in order with Fingerhut or tracked their payment or bank account. Fingerhut is known for over charging and will overcharge you if you are not actively watching your balance with them and payments. Deception goes in the front of this company name. I have yet to resolve or receive the $85.00 I paid in May to where the money disappeared since I didn't get credit, however, I got late fees for a payment that was paid in advance.

Fingerhut customer service department

It seems that no matter what number I call for Fingerhut customer service, it always leads to an overseas call center. The problem with this is that the representatives from these call centers are not acclimated nor familiar with alternative payment options or credit plans available to those who may have fallen behind due to hardship. They follow the script that they are trained to and can only offer to accept a payment; a payment that benefits them because they are being paid to collect and not to offer any other options. Over a year ago I asked a United State's Fingerhut Representative to annotate my account for contact from US call centers only. Shortly thereafter I started receiving numerous calls everyday from a phone number with a 844 extension which I later found out is Fingerhut customer service overseas office (s). Please help me receive assistance from a United States call center representative who is well versed in providing variuos types of credit related assistance and who is also fluent in the English language. Thank you.

Fingerhut balance never goes down

I charged about 1300 to a Fingerhut account around Christmas of 2016. I returned several pairs of shoes and a defunked comforter and only received partial credit. Since January, I have paid $69 or $70 a month and my balance has not moved. For a company that says they do not charge interest, why are my payments not paying off my card? I am just going to stop paying.

Fingerhut order I placed last month

Sad sad business ..I'm a NEW Customer and this is my first andLAST time ordering from here.When I was a little girl my grandmother was a valued customer.She didn't have any problems, and her orders were always correct and good quality Something has dramatically changed over the years. It is not the same. I wouldn't recommend a dog to order from Fingerhut of he could. This company isn't worth anyone hard earned money, or time

Fingerhut bad customer service

I ordered several pieces from Fingerhut .after realizing I ordered the wrong color necklace and ring set I called them to change the color . when I called customer service they told me that I could not change my order...Note I had just made this order an hour earlier and it was on back order and wouldn't make it to me until July 11 . They told me I would have to pay for the item I didn't want and return it to get what I wanted at that Point I ask to speak to manger. They continued to talk if they didn't understand my request for management.Finally when they put me on hold to get management I waited on the phone for 30 min and the phone hung up .I called back and I still didn't get the situation resolved I told them to cancel the entire order due to poor customer service Fingerhut rather lose money than to make their customer Happy such big disappointment.

Fingerhut order

I am so disgusted with fingerhut!
I have contacted two news companies here to tell them about this experience
I have been trying to contact them for a year to return a broken item
I was told several times they sent a label but I never received these fake labels they created. I asked to get the label by email and I was told no. I wasted my time contacting the ceo and he got a rep to call me for nothing. The supervisor advised I could send this back and now they don't want to commit to it. This experience has made me ill and it is messing with me. I can't sleep and I am barely eating because this has sickened me so much. I should not have to pay for something I can't use and something I received broken. They are trying to say I shouldve sent in a stop billing but why when I called. This is crap! If anyone else whats to join in on this lawsuit or discuss this with fox news contact me asap

Fingerhut payments

Date of Incident 5/17/2017
Since we have set up an account with Fingerhut, as everyone else would assume it was fine. We received our product on time, and in great condition. As far as payment, we can never seem to login to our online account. Our email we registered with just magically doesn't exist so we have to call in to make payments. As any normal person we worry about fraud, and identity theft. So we prefer to not give our information to a live person. This evening we had to call in to pay and I spoke with not one but 2 representatives. The first guy i spoke to was very rude, so i called back to speak with someone else. The next lady started out so nice. Verified information. Asked to take my payment and I specifically explained who I was. She was still ok and asked how much and what the card number was. Against my better judgement just to get a payment on our account I gave her the debit card number. The same number that is attached to the account. I asked for no account information or anything. Just trying to give them money. The lady went from stating everything ok to refusing to take my payment. If there was a problem why not say something from the start? Not take all of the information from the amount of payment, card number, expiration date and everything else and not process it. Now I'm worry that we may become victims to identity theft. I felt I was put through to much to be turned down at the end. Just making a payment and nothing else. When people run into experiences like this it make them not want to do business with the entire company because of call agents who represent you. They are the voice of your company and at the moment honestly it doesn't sound good. It's sounds scary and untrustworthy. So please help us. Our desirable resolution is that we just want to make our payments as asked of us.

Fingerhut customer service billing issues and late fees

I have had an account w/ fingerhut for 7 months and it has been the worst 7 months of my life. Every single month I go them not billing me or changing my recurring payment status and every month i have to spend hours getting it taken care. You would think they would learn the first time. It took me 4 months to change my billing date from the 10th to the 11th. I have paid 150 in payments but my account is only 73 less then what is was when it started. So I tried reaching out to a supervisor and a rep calls. They are the worst customer service dept in any company, they do not speak english, not that its a bad thing but trying to deal with this it makes it difficult. So I am still dealing with them and I am at the point to either pay it off and spend money I do not have or not pay and let the account go into collections. At this point I am done. I will never suggest fingerhut to anyone ever. Rant over!

Fingerhut fraudulent account

Someone used my identity to open a fingerhut account . I have disputed this account in all the ways possible i have submitted police reports 2 of them and still they wont do anything to remove it off my credit report . This has been going on for years . My credit is below average because of it . I am on the virge of being homeless because landlords wont even look at my credit score .

Fingerhut victim of identity fraud

My tax returns were stolen from my Mom's mail box and since then, I been bombarded with phone calls this people trying to open new accounts on my name. I reside in Sacramento and I don't get my mail, but my Mom does and by the time I got this statement with a balance, I called your Compay, tried to communicate with your Fraud Department but no luck, there is always a voice message that ask to leave a message but I never get a phone call back. This item is still in my credit and it has caused a huge impact on my credit fico score. Credit companies should be more careful on opening new accounts, anyone can open a new account and start ordering stuff under someone else's name. Please send me the address for the fraud department. I called customer service and they can't even find the proper address.

Fingerhut sleepsofa

I received a sleep sofa on february 3 ed 2017. Only two people have sat on it. Have not have not slept on it, but the set pillow is already bubbling on the side. This couch is a lot of money (800.00) just getting this product is a bad quality to have the name serta behind it! I'm going to see if serta knows this product is not good, I should have no complaints so fast, to early im so not happy at all! To much money for this product!

Fingerhut return policies / ripoff / terrible service

I want to start by saying that Fingerhut has got to have the worst return policy ever.
I placed an order for an HP computer desktop then when I saw the price I decided to return The computer . The box had a label return and a questionnaire as to why you're returning the item . I simply said the truth that it was too expensive. Upon received The item they charged me $25 because of the reason that I returned it because it was too expensive . Also 1495 for the shipping . I've never heard of such a thing in my whole life such a rip off I tried to get those charges taken off but they kept insisting that's our policy .
Also with one late payment that you made and ready send you to collections .
He probably called about a total of 10 times and sent them emails back to back with this complaints about their service and they're terrible customer service skills I record all conversations and also the live chats I copied and paste. My balance at the time was 130, I told the wrap his name was Elvis and he also gave me his employee number that I would make a payment of $75 on February 3 of 2017. I decided to do it automatic so I put in the four February 3 for the money to be withdrawn with my credit card . Well guess what today that I put my credit card information which was January 27 they went ahead and charge me to $75 and sent me a confirmation number and an email .
I called customer service and I read the email Word by word. I received an email with a receipt any confirmation saying thank you for the payment and he should be withdrawn from your bank but the next two business days . Was trying to explain it to the representative but she kept on telling me that no that was just a confirmation that the pain will be taken out on February 3 and I said no this is not what that says here let me read you what that says we kept talking over each other and I said listen this is a receipt OK and it says playing here in English that into days and amount will be withdrawn out of my bank . Kept insisting that no no no no no I basically told her do you understand English you hear me when I'm reading this to you and you still telling me that this is not a receipt then I said I need to speak to manager so she put me on hold and said her manager was busy and I said I will hold and 10 minutes later she hung up . I sent them like five emails back to back. I stated to them that that $74 were to be withdrawn out of my bank account it would be overdrawn and it would be a overdraft fee and they would be responsible for The overdraft fee .
Prior to that I had sent an email with the conversation I had with the gentleman and wrote word by word everything that we discussed how we were going to resolve this and hang out the balance. I asked the rep to give me his name and his employee number and that I was gonna write an email to him explaining word by word how we were going to work this out and needed to notate everything in the computer so that the next time I would call I wouldn't have a problem with the next breath . That email was plain and simple into the point how this payments were going to be handled and that was to the point . I sent the email to them like three times just to cover myself . Then the times that I recall they would say that they had not received any such email and I said well I have a confirmation that you received it so obviously you just not reading it so they are number one red flag . Also they can send me an email saying that they were going to send me to collections for one payment and I miss because my credit card was reported stolen so the payment didn't go through and I wanted to send to collections already I was like is this the way to your customers one payment not even hard dealership send someone to collection for one or two months of the consumer not paying the car and you guy also they can send me an email saying that they were going to send me to collections for one payment and I miss because my credit card was reported stolen so the payment didn't go through and I wanted to send to collections already I was like is this the way to your customers one payment not even hard dealership send someone to collection for one or two months of the consumer not paying the car and this Fingerhut store that overcharges everything is so damn greedy and disgusting that I can't even put up with them I just want to pay off my balance and just tear the book up and never deal with them again. You best believe that if that amount goes through and my account is overdraft I have all the chats copied and paste and also all the conversations recorded with emails and all the evidence that need it so I will take them to small claims court .
So basically at this point I really do not want to reach out to them at all or nothing at all but if that payment goes through then it's gonna be a big problem and I will reach out to them and tell them exactly how I feel whether they like it or not and I will contact the headquarters and send an email to the president .
And they still have the nerve to tell you that oh you know that if you receive emails you get deals I told him grab a no no thank you I don't want any emails from your operation at all my plan is to just finish up the balance and be done with you guys forever .

So the saga continues !
If you think they going to put one over me then they got another thing coming because they don't know me and first of all you don't treat customers like that you don't hang up on your customers I mean it's just a total mess disaster bad customer service just overall just the worst company that I've ever had to deal with I'm here reading the email to this lady that this was a confirmation of the payment and she keeps on tell me that no. I basically told her either you're stupid or your death because I'm tell me exactly how this reads out and just have a confirmation number and it says in two days they will take the money out of my bank and you still keep on telling me that no they going to take it out on 3 February do you realize how stupid you sound she stood quiet for minute and then she just put me on hold and then I said I need to speak to your manager and that was it .
Had to leave it alone because I don't want to drain my energy with this but believe you and me this is not the end of this I will sue them I will take them to small claims court The last thing I do . What a rip off charging you for returning an item so I told her rap I go so why do you guys have that return label and why do you get guys have these multiple choices are on the reason why you return it so basically you would never charge me and it would been broken of the fact of her I'm here being honest with you because it was too expensive and you're penalizing me for that is a make any sense at all is ago this is their policy . Basically said he could help me out and I said no basically you don't want to help because if you really did want to help me you would do it .

And I was a new customer.
And he has the gall to tell me that he was just about to send me to collections for one $20 payment that I missed because of my card being stolen that was the last straw I mean what kind of operation of the running for one late payment I will send to collections and mess up your credit
That's just plain disgusting and dishonest and just plain dirty
Well this is my story with Fingerhut so far but I have a feeling it's not over !
And they would not end until I get exactly what I deserve. Because like I told him I am I believe you messed with the wrong person this time because I know pool and I don't take anything from anybody. So I would not have Fingerhut have the last word .

I will be treated with respect and they must oblige to what they promised and what the email stated as far as how we were going to complete paying off the balance and not charge me behind my back .
I think I can go to the bank and to say that this was the charge that I did not approve and that will be the end of it .
Such a bad experience left me with a dirty taste in my mouth and is just plain wrong discussing I mean if that's how they treat a new customer imagine their own customers .
Reminder you don't give a damn so therefore I will give them a little piece of their own medicine and they will not like it .
This is my story and I'm sticking to it and the stories shall continue

Fingerhut somebody is using my information and opened an account with you guys

My name is Aneudi Ramos and I'm here because somebody is using my information and opened up an account with you guys. I never opened an account with you guys . reason I know about all this because I checked my credit and it said I owe $182 when I never opened an account with you guys. So I would appreciate if y'all can investigate who's been using my identity.

I completely agree, Fingerhut the worse. They give credit to anyone and they don't care if is fraud, they wont correct it and they wont call back.

Fingerhut fraud

I contacted Fingerhut about a fraudulent application for credit and I got a police report I faxed it to you guys and I'm waiting for there's someone supposed to be sending me and that the application that was filled out in my name to help with the investigation I've received no application I was referred to another company that apparently is your browser and it says it's an unsecured site so I need the application that was sent to my email for someone to contact me

Fingerhut setup for autopay with min payment... screwed

I was setup for autopay with fingerhut since I began with them and then a year into it they started DOUBLE dipping into my checking account, instead of the min payment I had setup they doubled it. I immediately called them and they said 'oh it must have been a system error' yeah whatever - then they said I didn't owe them for a month and then they reported me delinquent on my account to the credit bureaus. I have worked hard and been very diligent with all my payments trying to rebuild credit. I had built back up to a 640 credit score. Then they reported me DUE TO THEIR ERROR to my bureaus and it tanked me 75 pts... I can no longer buy a home for my family due to Fingerhut. I have reported them to the CFPB and every blog I can find. I am a single mom, I can't afford an attorney. Please AVOID Fingerhut at all costs. In my personal opinion they are predators and will screw you. If you decide to go with them anyway, DO NOT SET UP AUTOPAY. They will steal from you and then ruin your credit. I have called, and called, and called. Everytime they admit it was their error and they will 'fix it' - nope. They will just ruin you.

Fingerhut fraudulent hard inquiry on my reports

Three days ago fingerhut placed a hard inquiry on all my reports. I know for a fact this was not me requesting this inquiry because I am getting ready to buy a home and have been working very hard to raise my credit scores.

I have not and would not allow any credit providers to run my credit, for any reason other than for a mortgage loan! Therefore I know for a fact this is fraud!

I don't even know what fingerhut is!

Fingerhut account

Hello I am writing this company to advise you that you opened an account fraudulantly and allowed the theif to charge this account up. I have justed recently pulled my credit report and seen that you guys are claiming a negative account under my information.

Note that I have not given anyone permission to open such account and that this account was open under fraud activity. Equifax Transunion and Experian know of this activity already and have froze my credit for this reason. Your company has been turned into the Federal Trades Commission as a fraudlent account.

If you would like I will send you the documentation I have filed with the FTC, My local police department and my attorney general.

I ask that you remove this account from my credit I did not apply for this did not recieve goods from this account and therefore am not responsible for this account.

I at this time request validation documents bearing my signature and or ID, if you cannot publish these records I ask that you remove this account immediately.
