I've had a similar experience. I have access to my boyfriends yahoo account. I was deleting spam when I saw the fling email that said thank you for signing up and here is your password. It got worse because the email tells you what date you signed up and we were apart the night he supposedly signed up. I got the password and deleted the email. I signed in and his bday info wasn't right but who is truthful on those kind of sites anyways. It has 5 different options asking what you are interested in like threesomes and online flirting, stuff like that, and 4 of those were checked. He was seeking women and couples. However, to be able to fully use all the websites features you have to pay. My boyfriend did not pay for it and it has no record of his financial info. I've changed around who he was seeking for and he gets the occasional fling spam email. But so far he hasn't opened fling emails or requested his password from fling. If something happens then I'll let you know.

My husband discovered an email from this company in his inbox this morning. The email included his email address and a password for his so-called "profile". The email was titled, "Welcome to Fling.com". Funny thing is that when he discovered the email he called me over to the computer and we looked at it together. The "profile" gave a date that he wa...

I recently looked at a card statement and found that money had been taken from my account. After looking into this it is for a site called fling.com. I later found that my stupid younger brother had set up a profile using my card details. I have no idea how to delete the account and they continue to take money from my account. Please help!

Help, I can't figure out how to stop people from taking money from me, but I can take the time to register on a forum to tell everyone how horrible this company is. My credit card fraud brother is super awesome as well!
hugs scam and rip of
how is it possible that the dating site fling.com and xxxblackbook.com can charge lots of money from your credit card without making there prommisses come true? you get a membership after paying and then nothing happends? Not one mail you get answerd and if you are not a member then you get a full mailbox of contacts trying to reach you. these company's chould be banned and prosecuted by law because they just take money from your acount and don't deliver what they say they going to do. is there no law against those kind of practice and way of doing fakke advertizing and ripping of people?

I agree - both websites are scams. Don't spend a dime on them. Most content is fake, it's only costing you.
I have the same experience re both sites. They are ripoffs. Be careful, it's a scam
I am disappointed with dating sites, very ladies reply and the sites attempt to create business by suggesting a member has made contact so renew subscription to read reply. Visa details are kept and automaticatly renewed each month . It is quite difficult to unsuscribe . Mate 1 is full of scammers and the site does nothing to remedy the situation- why should they, they are getting easy money also from the scammers.

fraud
This is a fraudulent company. They show you pictures from girls in your city, but when you join you find out they are not in your city, they are not even members, they have not been with fling for years. You can join, pay a gold membership and still cannot talk to anyone that also doesn't have a paid membership. They keep removing money from your account after you cancel.. DO NOT JOIN ANYTHING FROM FLING.COM

Why would anyone want to be on fling dot com in the first place? Must be for a bunch of losers.
I don't want this email of fling anymore. I don't know where they got my e-mail. I am getting sick and tired of seeing it. I never signed up and don't want to sign up. Get it out of my inbox effected today. I had put in the complaint board. You don't have anything to do but harasse me. Leave me alone.
someone help me
I started reciving these e-mails from [protected]@Fling.com. I have no idea how they have my e-mail and why they keep sending me these stupid dating things. I am a married woman who has no intrest in dating or "flinging" with anyone. I first tried to reply back about a month ago with a polite message asking not to send me anymore of these messages. since then I have recived at least ten to fifteen. I tried to go to their web site to contact customer service and their is no way to without out actually signing up for their web site. Now im furious and dont know how to make them stop. I am not a member so i have no idea how they got my info and i find it extreamly upsetting to feel harrassed by this web site. They need to and must be stopped!

Just report them to the police; I have no account with them but judjing from the pictures of beautiful girls that they keep on posting on my E-mail, I can say that they are a scam for sure; just ACT!- they deserve to be put out of reach.
I mean: I'm almost 60; how can possibly a 21 yrs girl be interested on me for a long term relationship?!
Hope you act on it soon, with your local law...
Just go in to your e-mail's privacy settings and block anything from "@fling.com" The e-mails may not stop byt at least you won't see them :o)

I guess they don't care. Everyone please becareful with your online transactions.

However I checked my account and saw the money had been deducted from my account $59.95. The name of the transaction was GPNETHELP.COM. When I googled that name, it came up as a dating site in which, I have never visited. My email address is [protected]@yahoo.com I contacted the company that I had made the purchase from and they gave me the link to here. Thanks . $59.95 is a lot of money to me and I would like to get it back.

My name is Bryan, and I have been a Fling.com member for quite some time now and I have to say its one of the best adult dating sites available. I notice all of these fling fraud posts online and I don't agree with them at all. I've never had some super-hot girl try to get me to upgrade my membership. I saw this today and thought to myself, this woman's nuts. So I have to tell you guys about how it REALLY is on Fling.
I found Fling a while back and quite honestly its the best way of meeting new people in different areas of the country, I travel a lot and its great to have a site that I can log-in to and find a real girl, interested in exactly what I am. They usually know the area and where the hottest places in town are and I always end up having a blast and meeting so many new people. I've never once thought that fling was any sort of a fraud.
The site has so many members and profiles. I've never once had anyone try to scam me of money or take my personal info. This site is definitely no fraud. With the fact that it has so much popularity and so many members there are going to be weirdo people and people whose intentions are other than what they say. You just can't help it when your part of such a large community. I even upgraded my membership to gold a few months into it after meeting some really awesome girls who are now good friends of mine and have been really enjoying the site ever since.
I just think that people need to stop being so critical about the site just because they're not getting the types of responses that their looking for. You gotta get into it and talk and chat and be yourself. When you get hit up by weirdo people trying to talk to you about money, delete it! It happens. Your never gonna have a site where every person is who they say they are. We don't live in that type of a society. So to those of you wondering about Fling, give it shot! Its well worth it and you'll see its no fraud.

BS. I tried out Fling.com a few months ago and even went and registered a fresh new email from yahoo that could only be used for the site. I even paid for a gold for a month. I will say that I did get hit on by a few babes at that but they were Pros looking to be paid for sex. In fact I have to say that they are probably a good way to find a babe to hook up with sex for pay. I didn't want to sign up again after that first month and there was no way to have the recurring charge stopped from their website and you have to actually call a customer service rep to not be billed again. Ok ok that is fine and all as I did get the recurring charge stopped and that is good as there are sites that will keep billing you for a long time.
Then lo and behold I noticed that the throw away email I had made especially for Fling.com to start getting a ton of spam going to it with many special offers from fling to try sister sites. That is ok I guess but I noticed something that to me is sinister. I noticed that much of the spam had my correct name fully that could only have been gievn to them by Fling.com from my info I sent when I registered and paid by my credit card. Thsi is reprehensible to say the least. I expect my user name to be spammed and even the email as that is why I made a new throw away one especially that site but to see that they gave out my billing info is too much and showed me they are ###. I would say that anyone needs to stay away from this site at all costs.
the site is a total joke if you ask me, i am also been working with computers for over 16 years and i immediately was alerted by my snifer software right after being on the site for less than 24 hours and my computers are notoriously clean and kept that way, so i know when and where the infections/spyware comes from...well i have been on there quite a few months now and still refuse to sign up, i even gave the admins guff for cutting up what i wrote in my profile, stating that if it happened again i would definitely not be signing up...i now have 18 friends in my network from all over the world, even alaska...lol and they keep sending me a dollar off joining the gold program...hahaha. they also send me "special" deals for signing up to their sister sites like ulust and adult friend finder. not trying to be harsh with you fellas, but you really should think, before giving out your credit card number to sites like this. i think i will keep my free membership for a little while longer just to see what other wonderful discounts and lovely ladies want to be in my network...this is fricken hilarious...all i have to do is visit the site and the next thing you know my email blows up with invites and ladies checking out my profile...so obvious its funny...buyer beware folks, they know how to play us and it seems to be working for most that i see posted here...do not trial it accept for the free stuff, do it for over a month and i bet you will see a pattern emerge...oh and make sure you check your computer for fleas and have good preventive maintenance in place BEFORE you surf on over to check it out...
yeah right...i have worked as a computer tech for over 16 years and all of my computers are safe and well guarded and i rarely get so much as a warning from the software protecting my computers, but less than 12 hours after setting up my profile and browsing there site i was alerted of a trojan trying to take over my pc...coincidence, i dont think so and maybe you can expain why the same pic is listed under different profiles with different locations? what a joke this site is...

redirecting my internet
we never visited this site, and have not downloaded any software from the web.
This site keeps coming up, opening new browser or tabs without any action from us.
We have changed browsers since we understand that IE has security holes these sites may exploit, and even with firefox, this site keeps coming up every few minutes.
We have it blocked, but of course the blocker interrupts us every few minutes because this site keeps trying to come up!
Something has went as far as to corrupt all the recovery files on our machine.
The virus checker is not finding any anything to account for all this.
someone help!
I signed up for fling on the 20th due to the e-mails i was receiving thinking that all these girls liked my picture. so I signed up and did the monthly service deal. so I'm sending messages to women for 5 days and none of them were like the website insisted or rated me cute game etc. So after 5 days i cancelled and i called to get a refund and was informed there is no refund. that is bs the website is horrible and not worth 34.95 can you believe that ?
fling is a total scam.dont attempt
faked user ids and pictures
Fling.com provably fakes search results, implying pretty girls are waiting for you in your geographic area. For example, their opening page shows a list of pretty girls under the title Search Results, and today includes a "Beth" in United Kingdom. Beth is listedwith a picture of the back a pretty young girl. Since I had already paid and signed up I can search by username and find that the only "Beth" userid in the uk is actually a male (probably a nice chap, but I'm looking for girls!).
This isn't someone elses website making a mistake with their own photos - this is a test I can do against fling's own front page http://www.fling.com/4/?prg=1&id=cwgroup and it stinks - it's fraudulent in my opinion and they have taken money under false pretences.
Avoid this site unless you want to get ripped off.
Does anybody know how to contact the UK customer services for this site, as I have been informed they have a profile set up using my picture and offering 8 other photos rated r- x rated which I have not authorised. I didn't even know this site existed until i was recognised which has caused me a great deal of embarrassment. I have emailed the company but received no help and was given a contact number that is not a UK number, any help would be appreciated.
First off, i want to say that i'm not someone that advocates these dating sites and the times i've been on them i never really intended to used them to meet anyone, (mostly just to look at the hot pics). but i have heard horror stories about people getting douped like Sara above (sob story asking help with relationship offer attached, etc, etc.)
form what i've heard this is the kind of thing that is common on these online dating sites, but they are also common in the real world off the net relationships to. dont feel like your the only one thats been scammed or that its the internet aspect that screwed you over.
If anything you should realize one thing, its not the site that is on there to scam you. these sites are actually there so we lonely people might have a chance to find someone. not to say they dont want to make a quick buck from it, but the main scam they have is they lour you to there sight with flashy advertising and sexually suggestive material making oyu think this is the only way you can meet anyone, when you could just go take a nice walk or go shopping and meet someone in your area. Personally, as a man i would be exsatic if a atractive women walked up to me and said, "Hi, my names XXXX< whats your's. care to take me out for lunch." Maybe i'm a doup and would take the girl out and buy her food and not get anything out of it but a 15-20 minute convo with a girl that is just using me for a free meal but you never know, shrug.
Well, in close, I meet my current gf on one of these sites. I wasn't even looking for a gf. or i should say i didn't exspect to get one from the sight, but i payed for it on a promotion for a year and ended up getting a lot of junk, but in the end i also got a mail from my gf who i hit it off with. we have now been together for 7 years (not married yet, but we might as well be)... not to say that your going to get that real person that's not out there to scam you, but if you look for it you might find a realtionship that will work out just like you would in the real world. only diffence is you can meet alot of people online vs the few that happen to be in the market when you go shopping/man hunting .
I don't want to mention the dating service I used but I was scammed big time, 3 different men. I really was not scammed by the last two I learned my lesson from the first one.
He had me send him clothes, shoes, and such. It was about 600.00 worth of stuff, but that didn't count them money it took me to send it to where he was. Gave me a sad story of how he was a person who lived in N.J. and he had to go to Africa about his business and got mugged. I guess I was very lonely that would only be the reason I could account for me doing what I did. Anyway I had this guy checked out by a Det. I knew with all of the addresses I had and there was no such person.
He promised me this and that, sent me 2 dozens roses, bears and more flowers and another bear. What woman wouldn't want to get these things.
Found out it was one of those African con artist group. Two or 3 others tried to do about the same thing, they would call me and you know they all sounded the same and they were suppose to be from different places.
I tried other dating lines and met some nice guys from closer to where I lived at the time. But I am now with a man I met and we have been together for about 6 or 7 months now. So there are some good guys left out there. Just watch your p's and q's is all I have to say. Check people out. These scam groups will trade off and give to someone else later also.

unauthorized use of bank account
RECENTLY I HAVE FOUND INCONSISTENCIES ON MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. THERE ARE TRANSACTIONS TOTALLING $ 105.41 FROM A COMPANY KNOWN AS GPNETSUPPORT.COM. USING THEIR PHONE NUMBER, I CONTACTED THIS COMPANY AND FOUND OUT THAT MY DEBIT CARD WAS USED TO INITIATE A MEMBERSHIP WITH AN ADULT WEBSITE KNOWN AS FLING.COM. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS WEBSITE, LET ALONE WHO THEY WERE. THEY HAVE BEEN TRANSACTING MONEY FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT SINCE MAY 21ST OF2008! I AM VERY SHOCKED! HOW DID THEY MANAGE TO STEAL SOMETHING, THAT I NEVER GIVE ANYONE ACCESS TO, AND OPEN UP SOMETHING THAT GIVES MY GOOD NAME SUCH A BAD REPORT. I WILL TELL YOU THIS THOUGH, THE GPNET COMPANY AGREET TO REIMBURSE ME FOR THE LARGE TRANSACTIONS WHICH TOTAL UP TO $104.85. I WOULD LIKE FOR THEM TO GIVE ME THE INFORMATION OF THE PERSON WHO DID THIS HEINOUS THING IN THE FIRST PLACE. THERE MUST BE A WAY TO FIND THIS KIND OF INFORMATION OUT.
They charged me without I know anything about it!
I have been charged in 16/04/2008 with this amount $59.95 (£31.41).I didn’t know anything about it till I find it out when I did check up my Credit Card online. It shows that the company GPNETHELP.COM churched me without even let me know why. Now I have to check the previous months, perhaps they have done it for long time as long I see many complains for this company from other peoples around the world.
I hope that I will get paid back for this one day but one thing is for sure, NEVER CREDIT CARD ANYMORE.
I was Charged on two different cards for the same thing and no idea how gpnethelp.com recieved my card info please cancle what ever subscriptions you have for my account immediatly...
cant unsubscribe
i have tried unsubscribing from fling a million times but it does not allow us to do so. it rejects the email address and password even though it is correct! WORST WEBSITE EVER
Ok, the only way to unsubscribe is by calling their support hotline. It should be free, but I'll find out if I get a bill from that soon. It is [protected]
Tell them what you want: You want to cancel your fling.com subscription
They will offer you another trial subscription. Say no and make sure that you say you do not wish to remain a customer and you will make no further purchases. That way they can't misunderstand.
After that, they'll tell you that the subscription is cancelled. Make sure with the support person that there will be a confirmation email sent for Fling.com cancellation. I got my cancellation email. I'll also be calling the bank to keep an eye out for unsolicited charges to my account. I'd advise you do, too. Hopefully, this will get you out of the nightmare. Good luck!
P.S. please be nice to the support person. They're not directly related with Fling, but I'm sure they get all the flak for it. It'll also keep them from "misinterpreting" you out of spite.

Now i look at the top of this page and there is a big flashing banner for Singles.com...ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDIN ME!
The same thing has just happened to me. the email asked that i validate my account by clicking on the link. I WAS TOLD DONT, when you do that that allows the ppl on the other end of the email access to any and all account information such as stored passwords, paypal account info, stored credit cards in your computer and so on. The same thing is going on on facebook as well, you can usually tell because for guys it will be a friend request from a really young girl posing and only have one photo in here album and she will be requesting everyone in your friend list. if you have ever downloaded anything and said YES or NO either one, to a sweepstakes thats when any and all emails start coming. all you can do is report them to is spam. If you notice most of the sites that you go to and try and find out how they got your info...there is not even a contact us section or a phone number. Do not open this of any related emails, they are hackers and scammers!
