For the past few years Florida Power and light has been over charging me. I leave in a 1600 square ft house, A 3 bedrooms ranch style house in North Miami Beach, Florida. I only have 1 central A/C, 1 water heater, a stove (which I eat out most of the time) 1 small microwave, 3 working fans, 1 refrigerator, 4 Televisions, Last year (2022) around the summertime of the year I actual bill ran up to $700.00 monthly. By the way, I have been in a budget bill. This year actual billing for the summer is averaging out to $600.00 per month and I never paid this people late. in addition, they came to my property took a piece of land in my back yard and installed underground electrical wiring without my consent. When I refused, they brought the Sherief over my house 2 times. Florida Power and light employees put fear into you at your own house. The house I bought and paid. I was being treated by them to call the police on me because I told them, I did not like the fact they kept on going in my back yard like if my back yard was the main road. No privacy and no security. In the process, they damaged the concrete of the front side work with their truck, damaged my fence, damage my stamp walkway with their boult Doser, destroy my vegetation in my back yard. They don't fix them back.
on September 28, 20023, a couple of days ago. I called them by 4pm, but these employees ping pong me around. In actual bill that have been averaging $600.00 I was looking at the dashboard they listed a charge for cooling, Always, Laundry and cleaning, Alway on, laundry and cleaning, electronics, kitchen, refrigerator, and lighting.
I call them to find out What it is they charged me that they listed it as always on also I told them I have not being using the laundry in over 20 years because I either dry clean or have my clothes service at a public laundry. She asks me if I have a pool and dish washer and I told her no. She kept getting loud, rushing me and insisted I have those 2 things. She also stated that she does not leave in my house you need to find out what is always on means. I told the lady I am calling hoping someone can help me out with this issue I have legitimate concern with these unexplainable high charges. I told this lady I have not been working for 7 months. I don't want to just give my savings away to FPL. In the process of it all we got disconnected or hang up on me. There after I came on calling came a across another lady. She was no better and she hang up on me, I called again this guy transfer me I was on phone for over 1 hour no one ever came to the phone. I figure it was again they played me.
Florida Power and light people are running their business worse than the people who resided in a 3rd world country. These people are so horrible, heartless, cruel they will literally cause someone to have a stroke and died. Believe me I have come across people who are not doing their job, but Florida power and light people are NUMBER#1 in bad customer service, Human cruelty and have no knowledge of what they are doing. I am even thinking of using a generator if that was possible. anyone has another alternative idea that I can get away from these cruel people.
