I had been having a leak in three parts of my roof for a while after a storm we had. I had roofers come out and confirm the leaks. I had Foremost insurance come out in November to check things out. He was not interested in looking at the internal damage in the home nor did he get on the roof to see the damage. He denied my claim because "the internal damage is my problem since insurance does not cover it." There would be no internal damage had there not been external damage. The roofers continued to pursue things with the insurance company and I continued to reach out to Foremost. I finally spoke with someone in May who said that I had until May 19 to get the roof done as he was going to approve the claim because the storm damage was not going to be covered after May 19. He told me this nine 9 days before the 19th. The roofers were able to get an extension and the roof was done. Then Foremost, after approving things and the roof was done and information was sent back to Foremost they denied half of the items they had approved that had been completed. The roofers had to fight with Foremost to get things approved and Foremost stated "according to Google Maps, the roof was not completed." This was after they had spoken with me several times to convirm completion and receiving paperwork and pictures confirming the roof had been done. Roofers fought this and won. Foremost had also agreed to send money for damage to the inside of the home. Turns out, they lied and reuse to send $4000 they were supposed to send to me to fix the inside of the home. I barely received enough to cover the roof and all it entailed. If you don't have to use Foremost for your insurance, don't. They are awful.
