Not getting a refund back for the work that I paid for and the work did not happen
I'M just want everyone to know that Long Home Products charged me for a bathroom remodel and did replace one window that was suppose be replaced and that I paid for and will not give me my refund of $1,878.00. The sales representative that came to my house and that I paid $6,000.00 downpayment before they would start the work sent me a text telling me that his manager would call me which never happened. I texted the sales representative back about two weeks later and he replied back and that his manager had been sick. So, it has been four- or five-weeks sense I have anything apparently his manager must be really sick, so you would think a company as Long Home Products would have someone else to get in touch with me.
Long home products bath division
Very saavy, polite sales person. We went with Long Bath for the advertised 1 to 2 day install because, unlike other companies, Long would pull the permits. Another company friends used did not.
Our nightmare started on 6/26/23 and to date (8/31/23), the project is still not complete. We have had not 1 but 3 installs and 3 install teams as well as multiple management teams. So many mistakes resulted in panels being installed and then removed and redone by the next team. Shower rod hung too low. Multiple issues, sloppy caulking, sharpie marks on our ceiling, exposed insulation, no vapor barrier behind the panels, wobbly shower head they wanted to correct by filling the gaps with spray foam insulation, fixtures not lined up, multiple failed inspections by both plumbing inspector and building inspector. Rather than be present at the inspection, or call our city for information, they ask us. Not my wheelhouse..
Long has done nothing but send inexperienced people to our home. Management (Greg Morris, Jim Costello) does not return calls and no one seems to talk to each other about the issues.
Poor communication, poor customer service and so much disregard for the customer.
During this project, we had to shower elsewhere for a little over a month. How inconvenient!
The worst of this now…originally we were going to utilize the 18 month 0% finance option after having paid $5000 as a down payment, leaving a balance of $7633…project not even complete and Long initiated the payment from the finance company and even after I called to cancel the loan and called Ling to return the funds to the finance company, they will not until we pay Long the balance! Really Long?return the money, fix the issues, finish your job and get out of our home.
I have retained an attorney as I am sure this is going to turn very ugly. I don’t want to give any stars to this company, but I’m forced to give at least 2.
I hope the sales guy, Corey Walker, who basically told me he doesn’t get involved after the sale, is enjoying his commission check on this POS job.
Recommendation: Go with another company
Sloppy Work
I am too angry to even write a compmete review but avoid this company at all costs. We had to replace our bathtub and shower and went with this company, big mistake. Long story short, the workers they sent barely spoke English, which is not the problem. The problem lies in their sloppy workmanship. From sloppy caulking, to crooked shower rods, to misaligned and misplaced tiles.
Recommendation: STAY AWAY
I feel your pain. I just wrote my review on our not even completed project by Ling Bath. It’s been over 2 months!
The representative (Carl) has harassed me; calling day and night even after I requested to remove my number from the list
The representative (Carl) has harassed me; calling day and night even after I requested to remove my number from the list. Meanwhile, I've never signed up for quote or anything of such relating to this company products. Randomly, representatives would call and I repeatedly say the same thing. Why, do I need to repeat myself regarding my phone ringing from a company I am not interested in? Representative Larry, laughed as if what I was saying amuse him. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I received calls through the day and night which interfered with my job , household and mental health. I deserve an apology and the representative deserves training on professionalism, customer service and hospitality. Also, I would like an apology letter.

They did a great job and the PM was super handsome.
Kendra did a great job very knowledgeable very personable and very happy with the outcome
I met this lovely girl named Ciera last night at the event! She was so sweet! My daughter liked her unique keychain and Ciera gave it to her right away! I wanted to pay Ciera but she said no! It was so sweet. The line at the store was so long that me and Ciera started talking about life and her job came up. She explained the different products sold and the wonderful warranty that comes with each product. I will be reaching out soon once we close on my new home so I can get some projects started and hopefully Ciera is my coordinator. Go long home! Keep Ciera, she is a gem.
Long did and awesome job with my roof, skylights, and gutter. It was done quickly with exacting detail, and the labor is guaranteed as well as a 50 year warranty on the materials. The price was also competitive, so I'm happy I went with Long.

Do not EVER use Long Home Products
I asked for an estimate for a roof a month ago. I even set up an appointment. Then they just kept constantly calling me even when I told them I had appointment.
Still got calls but they died off until yesterday. I told them I already had a roof and to remove me.
Today this punk m***r calls me, and when I told him I had a roof he said "How the fk would I know" I said hey you dense m***r, I've asked 20 times to be removed and hung up.
Punk called back 10 times calling me names etc. I called the company and went off, telling them I could sue them. Girl was very scared it seemed and removed me. I told her one more call I'm going to the lawyers.
What kind of chump b***h does that st?
Fk you Long's Home Services
That is my *** post since the 50 times I asked you to stop harassing me turned into today, one of your punk reps calling me repeatedly and cussing me out.
The workers did great work and we are happy with the finished product, however we had to watch over them the entire job because they tried cutting corners. Thankfully we had a project manager we could contact and he made sure they re-did the work so it was done right. We were told we would be getting a 50 year warranty that would be transferable (which was a big selling point for us) but we have not received it yet.
I called Long Roofing with a request to get an estimate for 13 single family homes re-roofed in our association. I was told that all home owners would have to be home. I explained to the person on the phone that I was the Association President and the Board of Directors would be making the decision and not the home owners. After some go around they agreed and we had a date of August 19th at 10:00am to measure and estimate all 13 houses. I received a call on Wednesday August 17th confirming the appointment. Friday came and went and no one showed up nor did I ever get a call saying they were not coming. I put my time aside for them and then they treated me like that. Not good business practices! PJL
Roofers worked diligently and efficiently for the whole day. The clean-up left my yard looking even neater than before they came. Mr. A checked in with me several times during the day to assess their progress and to inquire about my satisfaction with their work. Thanks - no more worrying about the roof!
I called this evening to ask a few questions about a bath install before setting up a sales meeting for an estimate . I clicked the wrong option LOL and got Ms.Cierra on the line . LET ME TELL YOU . She explained the WHOLE Long process! From sales assisting with financing to explaining step by step of a standard bath install . I have never had such positive customer service in my 50+ years of being on this planet . Cierra shows me that Long's reputation is real and I can trust them with my most sacred place... My Home. I haven't made the decision yet if I'm ready for such a big commitment but Long will definitely hear from me once I commit ! Thanks again Cierra !
All you get is the run-around
All you get is the run-around. Someone is always taking over for someone else. Ordered a shower install on 07/31 said it could take 8-12 weeks, installed in Dec. 2021. I'm trying to make this saga shortWe have hard water, I told them and showed the spout on the tub, corroded from the water. No problem, the glass is a diamond treatment coating, shouldn't notice too much. WRONG ,I used the recommended products, didn't do anything.. I had to put a shower curtain up! Also, the shower doors are extra wide, they clang together. The installer said it needs a longer guide. The glass was broken when he tried to adjust door. Waited for new glass, I asked where the guide was and ,low and behold, it's the same SHORT guide. Each panel is 36"wide, the guide is 3", so you have a 36" glass door sliding through a 3" guide, so guess what, the doors clang together. I paid $ 21,380 for a shower install. Sorry I chose Long Home Products

Extremely professional and did a great job at explaining everything so it was easy to understand
They did a great job! From the presentation to the install!
I am constantly receiving phone calls up to 5 or more a day. I told them to stop calling and remove my number. They are still calling. I'm considering reporting this harrassment to the attorney general. Less than zero rating.
Wow! Learned a lot about roofing! Talking to a couple more companies, will compare their presentations and make my final decision.
My experience with Long Fence and Home Products has been fine since 2011
My experience with Long Fence and Home Products has been fine since 2011. I have Long Windows, Long Siding, Long Doors, Long Insulation with Attic Fan and Long Roofing. Today March 22, 2022. I finally needed service for the Long Products. Rick C did fantastic service for Long Products. All issues were addressed and Rick took the time for "True Customer Service", something that is currently lost in the United States.
The caulking for the Windows and Doors finally needed touch up after 11 years. I hope Long Products understands that good technicians can make or break a business. Today, Rick C was the face for Long Products and great customer service. I hope to have the same experience went Long Products returns to correct the rake/gable ends of the roof.
Rick was professional and efficient with the service provided. Thanks for the great service and nice to see that warranty work for Long Products has not been an issue.

I called to make a service request using my bath warranty. Carol was very pleasant and efficient.
I remembered Cierra from my install a few months ago . So I emailed her asking for my warranty documents that I never received . She was more than helpful and she even sent me the list of cleaning products I can use and a warning for the products I can't . She's an excellent coordinator!
My husband and I are very appreciative of the roofers who installed our new roof. The men were considerate of our time and property, and were friendly in their communication with us. The quality of their work is top notch. I don't know all the technical words for the work they did, but they went the extra mile to make sure the really damaged areas of our roof were taken care of. My husband and I are very pleased with the roofers' treatment of our roof, and we have felt more at ease during the recent rain storms since the roofing was completed. I highly recommend this company for any roofing project.

Met with sales representative Scott D and spent 2+ hours going over the roofing options, colors, pricing, install process, etc., and could not have has a more informative and professional meeting! Estimated time before project could begin was 3 to 5 weeks. Two weeks later, on a Monday, received a call from Tyler asking if roof could be done this week, And by Wednesday afternoon the install crew had stripped off old roof, replaced 6 rotted underpayment sheets, installed ice dam material, breathable membrane, new roof shingles, soffit vents, ridge vent, repaired part of a rake board, new seamless gutters and downspouts. The crew, their on site manager, Scott, Tyler, everyone was informative, polite, and most professional. This crew worked very well together, and were proud of the work they performed, no short cuts, no compromises. They were awesome! We highly recommend Long Roofing and hope to use other divisions of this company for future projects!

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Installers not covering anything and destroying my yard, flowers, deck, etc. then they walked on the railings of my deck to work on my roof. Multiple other issues-company received the two page document of issues then the pics were sent separately. A whole mess of a job. Installers were cussing out someone on the phone (my ring camera caught that), over two years now and still trying to get things fixed that were messed up during install. The installers even had the audacity to yell at me for calling out their errors (Ummm hello- when shutters are installed crooked, etc it's going to be addressed). Now, the exterior lights they installed are pulling away from the wall- hoping no water gets in that. I honestly wish we had used a different company- the workmanship, issues, and quality is not what we expected. Very disappointed. Had to hire an electrician to install electric boxes that the siding installers ripped out. That's an expense we should not have had to incur. One thing after another.

We called Long Roofing to visit us for one of several estimates on replacing our roof, which we guesstimate must be over 30 years old. DJ came as scheduled, and we were VERY pleased with the whole experience. When I had called Long Roofing, we were asked to give the estimator about 1 1/2 hours, and that worked well. DJ was very thorough, professional, knowledgeable, sincere, and pleasant. He first did all the outdoor picture-taking, and had an instrument that figured the exact measurements of the roof. He then presented in our dining room (we all had masks and were distancing, of course), answered our many questions. We took a trip up into our attic on a clunky ladder, and he was pretty careful as he assessed issues, pointing out where the many problem places were. Back downstairs, we talked about various options. There was absolutely no pressure, which was a relief! DJ was genuinely concerned that we find the details that were best for us, and he'd give us a quote. We decided on Long Roofing that afternoon, and were truly thrilled with the estimate experience. We now await the work with high hopes!
The sales person pressured us to accept Long
The sales person pressured us to accept Long. He also did not give us anything but an extremely expensive option. They took 3 months to do a 1 day job. They promised a very rapid return time and produced nothing. Several weeks after I received confirmation that Long had the products to complete my project, I CONTACTED THEM to schedule. The work was done well, but the care for my home and possessions was really poor. They lost several of my earrings rather than simply ask me to move something. They damaged the newly painted walls and ceiling of the bathroom. They come and "fixed" that, and the paint is not peeling off of the wall. Fantastic job there. The manager there, Tom M., promised me a $500.00 credit to cover all of this and NOTHING was ever received. I have called and called and gotten nothing back from him. No surprise there. So basically, my advice is, AVOID these guys. They over promise, over sell and damage the house. For a job I paid top dollar for (it turns out!) I would have expected to be happy every time I use that bathroom. I am UNHAPPY and annoyed all the time with my promises that were broken by Long Baths.

My experience with Long Home Products-Bath Division was excellent from the day of sales presentation and purchase to demolition day to installation day. Every member of the Long staff from beginning to this day have been highly professional, collaborative and supportive when a mysterious water flow into our baesment began in November which interrupted the install planning. Not until April 1 was the source of the water found by *** technician to be a water main rupture under the slab of our neighbor's townhome! (Their water flowed 24 inches down grade into our basement and they didn't know.)
Especially helpful throughout the process was CAROL D, production coordinator and customer service representative. Her colleagues Cierra and Alex were always responsive and helpful, too. Demo/installation Lead, Roger and his three-man crew were meticulous, and Roger's attention to detail resulted in our having a gorgeous new shower for my partially disabled husband!
I highly recommend Long Home Products-Bath Division for their excellence in customer service and for offering such a high quality product with so many options!

On July 9, 2022, I called Long Windows inquiring about my windows, why was taken so to replaced the windows since December 30 when the technician came to my home to measure the windows, he said it will take about 6 weeks to come and replaced, around February, I called to see if there were any news about the windows and they said that the windows came but were broken and they have to reorder them again and will take another six weeks to deliver, also same month the window in my room crack due the cold and warm weather that's what they said and also took measurements and same six weeks to be replaced, this is already July and no answer, so I called to inquiry about the replacements and find out that the person was the same that came to my home twice was let go and there is no records , only one window was in the system, the person that answered my call is Tim H, he was very cooperative and explained to me that he will take care the situation, so on July 19, again someone is coming to take measures to the windows that need replacement. I really appreciate that Tim H took time and explained what was going on and assured me he will take care to resolve this matter. The review is for Tim H, he deserves a good rate.

I hired longhome products to replace my bathtub and paid 10k for the tub and service
I hired longhome products to replace my bathtub and paid 10k for the tub and service. I was told and promised that all their installers were the most highly qualified, trained and proffesional. Three installers came and were the most unprofessional bunch of people I've ever seen. The warehouse shorted them a piece of the package by not putting it in the installers truck along with the rest of my tub. One installer told me I wouldn't want that piece as it would look horrible and that the company always tells their customers to buy it to make extra money. They rushed finishing the job so they could make the hour journey home as they kept complaining about the drive. One of them couldn't even install the handle that turns the water on and off. They never tested the shower to make sure everything was running properly before they left. They did a poor job of cleaning their mess and left my new tub a mess. When it finally came time to bathe in my nice new tub the handle would only turn about a 1/2 inch to where water could not run. I was left without a working shower and had to wait till the next business day being Monday to voice my displeasure and had to wait longer due to my work schedule causing me to have to shower at friends houses or at work. I do not ever recommend this company for a bath remodel to anyone. They are liars and con artists and rip you off for your money. I wish I had never used them

Long Roofing ruined our home
Long Roofing ruined our home. While replacing our roof in June , the Long team cut through a structural truss, resulting in our upstairs primary bathroom floor sinking an inch and ruining the structural integrity of that portion of our home. At our own expense, we hired a licensed engineer who said, due to Long's mistake, the entire truss and bathroom need to be replaced and estimated the cost to be well over $100k. From a safety standpoint, he recommended not filling or using our bathtub as any additional weight on the damaged truss could result in the bathtub falling through the floor into our garage. Long has been awful to work with as we try to remedy a huge mistake they are responsible for and has been giving us the runaround for the past eight months. We reported them to the county, who issued them a Notice of Violation and now plans to issue an additional penalty because Long refuses to fix their mistake. Please do not use them and, if you have, please watch out for any cracks in your drywall or other signs of structural damage. They obviously have no idea what they're doing and could have compromised the structural integrity of your home, too. I'm glad we were home to witness, photo, and video the dangerous workmanship as it was happening (yes, we tried to stop it but Long assured us their engineer had approved the work. Now, we know they never had an engineer review anything and they don't even have one on staff). I feel bad for all of the customers who this might have happened to in the past and have no idea that Long is at fault.

The rep Jayden showed up and he was very professional and we loved the guy
The rep Jayden showed up and he was very professional and we loved the guy. We actually entered into to contract on the spot. He is a smooth talker and very hard to say no to. However, Jayden showed us our first proposal for $47000 .we nearly crapped ourselves. Then he talked us down to $30000. Money we didn't really have but they said they had the best everything and everything comes with a 50 year warranty. I found a company with a lifetime material warranty and 10 year labor warranty for $11200. We canceled the next day. the reps boss Jerry was a complete A hole. He didn't care what I was doing at the time he called when I cancelled. he scolded us for 15 minutes on how someone was lying to us "nobody can get a lifetime warranty for a roof" a bunch of other stuff but that was the just of it. jerry is still holding our refund deposit. It's been weeks and it was supposed to be given back to us with 5-7 business days. Jerry didn't approve our refund until just the other day and we still havent gotten it back. We are going on a month now. I feel like he thought I needed that deposit for another roofing company so hes holding onto it for as long as he can. Like his company are the only people in the world who need money. RUDE He only communicated with me about the refund after I sent Jayden a text letting him know I still haven't seen it in my bank account. Just say no to this company! This is the office in Connecticut near Wethersfield CT. Jerry needs to be fired! This is theft. Today I'm going to see what I can do about getting my refund because I've had enough of his bs.

We have a 50 year roof from Long Home roofing division
We have a 50 year roof from Long Home roofing division. We had soffits, facia, rake board, gutters by Long Home. We have 33 triple pane (polymer heat/UV reflector middle pane) windows and sliding doors. The installations were clean, efficient, and timely. Cleanup at the ends of each installation was above par. The issue, which knocked down my rating, was four windows middle pane or something else failed inside the glass packs. Stuff happens. I set an appointment and they sent someone out. The technician saw and agreed something in the windows glass packs failed. He placed a round sticker on each window that failed. He then placed an order for the four glass packs. ~10. I was told due to the Covid 19 pandemic, it was taking longer than the normal 4-6 weeks. It was taking ~2-3 months as I was told parts of the product were manufactured in APAC. I get that as most people saw the 75+ cargo etc. ships in the port of Los Angeles. It is now the ~ the middle of April 2022, going into soon, month 7, with a half dozen calls over the last few months with no E.T.A. When I had asked several times for a manager, or higher, none was available even with me calling at different times and different days of the week. The last two calls I have asked for specifically a manager or higher to call me, and was promised verbally such. The last time as well as a few prior, I was told an email was sent to management by the people with whom I have spoken, which these people said a manager would call. No manager has called me. When I asked to be Cc'd in the emails, I was told that is not an option, which may be true, but that is poor and not transparent. I didn't want to go here, but I am not receiving and updates from management at all, and have lost faith in this provider. If this changes, and I receive an E.T.A., the score would go up. If I receive a call from management and speak with a manager when I ask for one, and when I receive the replacements, upward too.

The Long Home Product motto is "We Build Trust and Peace of Mind into Every Long Product
The Long Home Product motto is "We Build Trust and Peace of Mind into Every Long Product." This motto is far from the service and products. It's been a nightmare. On Oct. 28th, I listened to a spew about the quality/workmanship of the company from the sales representative. He took pictures of my attic, pointed out the rotten wood, and the need for a roof replacement (including decking). I signed the contract. On Nov. 16th, the workers arrived. The project manager was on the job for less than 20 minutes. He reported the workers didn't need to replace any wood, took 25-30 pictures of the entire process, and will get the pictures in 1-2 days. (conversation recorded on video.) The laborers worked until 7:00 pm at night, attempting to complete the job in the dark and holding flashlights. Unable to visually inspect the work, I refused to sign the document of completion. I was harassed by a relative of one of the workers by phone and in-person to sign the document (caught on camera). The shingles were poorly installed and overlapping. My yard was littered with debris (rusty nails, pieces of shingles, etc) and the aluminum siding was damaged. The drip edge consisted of fragmented pieces. The wood was not replaced. After reviewing my camera, I noticed the workers trespassed onto my property and attempted to fix the damaged siding. I called the sales team, the project manager, and the production team. No callback. I finally decided to file a complaint with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC). On Dec. 7th, a production manager called, denied everything, and sent 12 pictures of my roof covered with laminate and my home in a distance. As of March 16th, I spoke with a senior operation manager and it's been the same tone. Five months later, I'm still dealing with the same issue. Save the hassle, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! Ethics or any indication of a moral compass is nonexistent. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS. I want my money back and do not trust your company!

The work hasn't started yet and the process is already a nightmare
The work hasn't started yet and the process is already a nightmare. I met with a salesman on September 2 because I was interested in getting my roof replaced. I live in a small row home in Washington, DC. The quote for a roof and gutter replacement started at $20,000. I asked the salesman if I was eligible for a discount if I also got my windows replaced. The salesman said a bundle would save me some money and he proceeded to call his supervisors. He called a few times during our meeting and couldn't get ahold of anyone to confirm pricing. He then kept going out to his truck three separate times to bring in cases full of samples to show me while he waited for a callback from his supervisor. It was so oddly inefficient. The meeting lasted for 2.5 hours but I got a contract that day for a full roof replacement, skylight replacements, new gutters and new windows for $21,000. I thought I got a great deal! I was told with city permit approvals the work would not be able to start for 6 to 8 weeks, so that would mean no sooner than October 25. The month of September, October and November went by without any updates. I reached out to the salesman and the project manager multiple times to see if I was close to having the work done. It's the end of December and I'm told that my application was lost and then it was found again and then they would expedite the permit process. I was then told that the windows aren't impacted by the permit approval so those could already be replaced immediately. Then I was told that the windows are included in the permit process and they were denied permits to replace them. This is a professional company that should know what kind of work they can and cannot execute. Overall, this has been a substantial waste of time since the nearly 3-hour meeting in September where I was promised so much. I am beyond frustrated and have already forked over more than $7,000 and NOTHING has happened. I could have hired another roofing company and been done with this MONTHS AGO.

Long Home Products, Bathroom Window
I paid for labor and one bathroom window to be installed. But it them so long I had another contractor to replace the window which I had to buy another window and pay labor to someone else. When I ask for My refund, I was told that I get a refund by Long Home Products representative 0n November 14,2024 I spoke with a person name Zack. Okay it started on June 4, 2024, when the product specialist Tyrell Bowie came to my home and sold me a bathroom remodel which included two grab bars and one window. When the work crew showed up their work order did not have the window on it, I had to show them my paperwork. They were supposed to be here the week of July 1, 2024, but they did not show up until Aug.15, 2024. All that I want is my refund for labor that I paid for and the window ($1,878.00).

Bathroom
Signed a contract with Home Products April 25, 2023 to have conversion done in bathroom. To date and many text messages with Mike Wilson and others at Home Products they have not sent me the refund as promised.
They received the cancelation notice in a timely fashion and numerous times both Mike Wilson and Veronica have said that they have spoken to their bosses and the refund should have been expected shortly. To date no refund has been received and for two senior citizens both on social security it is unfair that they keep stalling us.
Please see what you can do to expediate this problem
Thank you
Richard & Patricia Morse
Desired outcome: Full deposit refund
I wish I knew about the many complaints against this company I never would have agreed to have them enter my home. I have had nothing but unkept promises lies. It starts with the sales person who we now realize took advantage of our elderly status and misled us into signing a bogus contract which we honestly did not fully understand. Being 79 and 80 years old we should have known better, but we trusted everything that he presented to us. With their understanding we spoke with Long Home personnel and were under the impression that the job was canceled. Future calls to Mr Wilson were promised that he spoke to his boss and the refund was on its way. Still have not received refund or any explanation for delay of refund.
Please see what you can do to help me resolve this issue.
Thanks
Bathroom
As stated previously. Our contract with Long Home was signed on June 25. The contract was terminated shortly after. I spoke to representatives from Long Home and they assured me that would be receiving a credit shortly. That was early May and agreed by sales representative Michael Wilson. Many attempts to clear up this issue have been unsuccessful. The company has multiple complaints in regards to similar issues.
Please see what you can do to resolve this issue.
Thank you
Desired outcome: Total refund
Tub to shower install
I placed my order in March 2023 for a simple tub to shower install. Nothing fancy. They started work 3 weeks ago. For the first 2 weeks they were in and out putting in a new window realizing their measurements were wrong and not informing me of any of this. The whole time I had no bath! I bathed in a kiddie pool in my kitchen. I called crying and begging but all I got was broken promises. The 3rd week one worker showed up to hang plastic around the wood and asked me if I had any duck tape to tape it up. He didn't have any. So my shower is not finished but I can shower again, They are trying to give me extra shelves free for my shower to make up for my troubles. I just want what I ordered. There is a promo for 50% off right now so I asked for that and I was told that I already was given that back in march. So that means my tub to shower was a 40,000 dollar project! because right now its 20,000. I want to be done with this company. I have been told to contact the attorney general. if I get no satisfaction that is my next step. Did I mention I'm 61 years old bathing in a kiddie pool for 2 weeks! not a pretty site.
They said my materials were special order that was after they took my bath apart.
Desired outcome: I want this project to have an end date. I want compensation for all my troubles and i don't want any extra perks added to what I ordered.
Its the end of August and my shower is still not done. they have been in to do a little more work but forgot the ceiling panels and the doors are still not in. they did want me to sign off on the work but I refused. I went to shower yesterday and the shower handle fell off in my hand. I am now on my 5th project manager. I am not receiving any calls from them. any communication is from me calling them and I feel like I am putting them out.
Long baths
I want to cancel a work order that I made on may 5, when 2 representatives of long bath company came to my home to discuss their company and the service that they would do. It was to upgrade my shower stall only. After talking to me about an hour about their company and why I should go with them, they asked to see the bathroom. They said I needed a total demolition of the shower and complete restoration. While this might be true, I had called them for an estimate only and to see what they could do. I had not yet gotten other estimates from other companies. We then returned to my kitchen table where they did the hard sell and gave me "average" costs of shower renovations, which were all much higher than I had expected. I actually think they made these up so their final price would appear reasonable. We went through all the different options, type of glass, type of tile, fixtures, etc. So they could get a a price. I just wanted a ballpark figure. When they finished and gave me the final price, it was over $20,000, which, I was assured, was a good deal. They took lowered the price for certain exceptions, but lastly offered a $1000 discount, which, with the other discounts, brought the price to under $16,000. That discount would only be good if I signed that day. I couldn't think it over, or consult my friend, or check other businesses. Had to sign it before they left. I know this is the worst of high pressure tactics, and I know better than to succumb to this. But I caved and said, "ok, i'll do it". The representatives said they would call me later that day, but it occurred to me, only after they left, that I had no paper receipt with a phone number or address, no business card, no way to contact them if I had any questions. The phone number I found on the website, which I called numerous times, saturday, sunday, and monday, was only a recording. I did find an email which I wrote and asked to cancel my order. I still have not heard anything from them. When I looked them up on yelp, I found that the reviews on this company were very poor. Lots of complaining of poor service and very high prices. I'm totally not surprised. Now I just want out. I should not have signed the papers on the ipad. I still have no paper with their address and phone. I was also ordered to enlist in a loan company — green sky loan company, which was going to defer the interest on my loan for a year. I have canceled that account.
Desired outcome: I would like to cancel my agreement with LongBaths, get out of this contract. I do not wish for them to do work in my home. I would also like to get back the $1,525 that I put as a deposit.
We hired Long Roof and Home on 02/27 to install a new roof
We hired Long Roof and Home on 02/27 to install a new roof. In August, I noticed the roof was leaking and I had mildew in my electrical panel. I contacted Robert G at Long Roof and Home about this issue. After several calls and no show appointments an employee came and inspected the roof. His inspection report stated "The problem in this house is the crew how's install this job cut the ridge vent on both sides that's why is leaking. Need to flash below ridge vent to prevent water leakage". I do have this statement in an email. Long Roof did a patch repair and did not address the issue of damage to the wood under the shingles. I also have water damage to my ceiling and a crack which Long Roof would only agree to patch and there would be a very noticeable difference since I have textured ceilings. Long Roof never fixed my ceiling since I did not accept the offer to patch it and create a noticeable difference. Since the "repair" there does seem to be wood rot due to water damage. Long Roof has not contacted me since the so called repair. I have a signed contract with them as well as several emails that span several months trying to get resolution. I will also be filing a complaint with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission. Please let me know if this will cause a conflict. I can send pictures of the damage, email exchanges with Mr. G, and pictures from the Long Roof inspector as well as his 2 sentence report that I quoted above as well as video conversations with the Long Roof employees. Very Respectfully

I get calls everyday from this company and I've never contacted them before. Every time I block their number they call from a different number. So it's impossible to block. I have no interest in calling them I just want them to stop calling.
I reached out to this company regarding a quote for my roof. After receiving that information I have been inundated with spam calls from this company. Despite my attempts to block the numbers they continue to call me from different places making it impossible to stop. Some days I have received as many as ten phone calls from different numbers. This is incredibly frustrating and I would warn anyone against providing their contact information to this company
No transaction but harassing spam calls. Blocked over 30 numbers but call at all hours of the day, 15-20 times a day. Asked repeatedly to be removed, yet they keep calling. This company is harassing of many people and needs to change their business practices.
This company cold calls me about 6 times everyday. I have called them back once and asked them to stop. They agreed to stop. That day I received another 3 calls after talking with him. I knew he didn't care when he never asked me for any of my information. This has been going on for 4 months and continues no matter what I do. I know I'm not the only one who is totally fed up with them. Check out their customer comments. People don't like them when they come to the house to give estimates. There's always 2 of them and the pressure to buy is tremendous. They actually have told customers they would not leave their house. So many of the people in my town have already sworn, no matter what, they will not hire these people. Check them out for yourself and tell them to stop their antagonizing sales methods. If you cannot stop them then we will take steps with the state to fine them for their contact effecting our tension at the age of 73 and my and many of our calm and restful days.Thank You,***10/24/2022Thank You
We did a contract with Long Home Products on February 22, 2022
We did a contract with Long Home Products on February 22, 2022. We did a down payment of $2,500.00 on February 22, 2022. The completion time frame we were given was 8-12 Weeks. Which was April 19, 2022 - May 17, 2022. The work in our hall bathroom was completed on April 28, 2022. The master bathroom work was started on April 29, 2022 it is now May 31, 2022 over a month later and the work is not done. We have been unable to use our shower since we don't have a door. On April 29, 2022 we were told someone would come out and measure for door. Wayne the supervisor came out on May 3, 2022 and measured the door and stated it's being ordered and will take 2 weeks to get and then install. It has now been 4 weeks no calls have been made to us and no shower door. Also on May 17, 2022 Wayne the supervisor came out to our home because we noticed an issue in our hallway bathroom. Wayne said when we get what was wrong fixed that he will have the material reinstalled in the hallway bathroom. It has now been a total of 14 weeks and all of the work has not been done or completed. At this time we feel the contract has been breached by Long Home Products. So we would like to only be responsible for the work done and completed in hallway bathroom. Plus get a refund for master bathroom and a credit for the inconvenience we have been through. They can also come and get their material back from out our master bathroom due to breach of contract. There is no communication whats so ever from Long Home Products to us regarding what is going on with install and products. This is poor and bad business we are getting from Long Home Products.

Signed up for a free estimate from a third party. Since then I've received 10-15 spam calls per day all day every day for weeks. Same company harassing me from different numbers. I've blocked probably 50 or 60 numbers and they still keep coming. Probably would have used the company, but after call number 10 on day 1 I decided I'd rather use anyone else.
Long Home Product was hire to replace our home flat roof, skylight and front/rear gutters in April 2022 June 24 2022: Roof and skylight replacement done. June 25 2022: First Water Infiltration WE emailed the company every 10 days to have an update for the gutter replacement and asking for help regarding the water infiltration. No Responses. August 2 2022: After 8 weeks of radio silence we considered LHP in breach of our contract and let them know that we won't pay the remaining balance of our agreement, we will have to hire a new roofer + repairing the damages inside the house. August 3 2022: LHP called to contest our email. August 24: LHP proposed to deduct $4,000 from the contract and walk away. Leaving the roof as is and not taking care of the damages. We refused. September 22 2022: Over the phone we asked why LHP was not using its insurance to take care of the roof and interior deteriorated. They responded that they will engage with their insurance only after if they have see the roof and the damages in person. September 26 2022: 4 people from LHP came on site. They observed that a 3" gap between the new roof drip edge and the existing gutter to be replace was left exposed, and was the entry point for water. They offered to replace the gutter per our contract, replace the wood fascia, touch up the plaster and a $1,000 deductions on our contract. We consider that the issue came from a lack of supervision and bad management from LHP therefore we are not confortable with paying the full price for bad services.
I am getting calls from this company daily. I block the phone number they are using and they call me using a different number. This has been happening for weeks now.
This business is spam calling using either a purchased list or just dialing every number. As you know, this is absolutely prohibited by the Can Spam act without specific "opt in" from the number called. I do not, nor have I ever had any relationship with this "business", therefore they should NEVER be calling my mobile number. As you can see in the attached screenshot from my phone, they have called EIGHT times in just the past 3 days and this has been going on for more than a few weeks. Complaintsboard.com should be demanding 100% compliance with Can Spam for any endorsement stars at all and this specific business should be removed permanently from any endorsement by your organization beyond a negative "do not do business with" notation.
Long Fence replace my home property windows in 5
Long Fence replace my home property windows in 5. They gave me a lifetime warranty for each window repair or replacement at no cost to me. Around sometime in July (Mind you Covid is a factor in which I understood) I must have contacted them to ask about replacing 3 windows that I notice some damaged too. In August , a gentlemen came out and tagged the windows that I needed to be replaced. Then time went on June 21, I was placed on schedule for a window install which I thought they were bringing me 3 new windows replacements. Little did I know they came with one pic window. The gentlemen Geo and Hensel during the time of install they clean the window and installed it. They set me up and said it only had scratches. Okay so I really thought I was only going to see a scratch here and there. Thinking okay something happen during transport and they caught it and they knew I was not going to be satisfied with. So I gave them a review. Little did I know and realize after the window was installed and they had gone that was worst then my original window which compared to what was installed was not bad at all. Dec 3, 2021, I was schedule for replacement between 8am and 12pm. Then I received a call that my glass packs were caught on fire on a truck that was to deliver to me on the side of the beltway. Jan., Feb and now March 2022 I contacted them to see when might I expect a schedule delivery. I emailed 3/9/2022 I was told waiting a answer from management. Here it is now April and I have no schedule delivery date yet. All I want them to do is honor my lifetime warranty with 3 new glass packs of beautiful Quantum 2 replacement of windows and I will be satisfied.

For past four month I am receiving 10 - 12 calls from them. I had requested them not to call me Tried *** reply to remove my number . But the call never ends. It is stressful. I don't want them to call me anymore
On June 28, 2022 two Product Specialist from Long Home products came to me home to explain their roofing products. I explained to them that my roof repair was from a home warranty claim and that I had fired a shady roofing company to go with a reputable roofing company. We agreed on a price of $32,500 and I made deposit of $15,000. A few days later I sent a Notice of Cancelation letter to Long Home products as required. The product specialist Ryan C contacted me asking me to reconsider. After having the price reduced to $24,500 I signed an amendment. The roofing job was completed without issue. I asked Long Home products for what I thought would be a receipt of what was done to my roof documenting the service that was provided as agreed to in the contract. All that Long Fence had given me was a Greensky Shopping pass authorization which my wife signed. Since that time I have been in an email campaign with Long Home products to get them to provide my *** Home warranty claims adjuster with a breakdown of what was completed on my roof with the itemized cost. Long Home refuses to provide it therefore for my claims adjuster cannot finalize me Home warranty claim.
Date of transaction: 9/23/22 A high pressured salesman came to my home and stayed for over 2 hours. He just would not leave until I signed many documents and give Long Home Products a $5,000 deposit for doors. I consider this elder abuse. I am an elderly woman living by myself and my husband is in a nursing home. We have been married over 50 years and always make decisions together. We own the house together and my husband did not approve of this transaction. I was taken advantage of. In order for the doors to be ordered a second rep from Long Home Products would need to come and measure for doors. This did not happen. I have not received anything from Long Home Products and want my deposit back. I called the company and was told that they would not give me my deposit back because my 3 day right of recission was up yesterday. The company is so nice when selling something and so nasty when asking for a deposit back. The company's address on the business care is 300 Myles Standish Blvd., #102, Taunton MA 02780. We cancelled our contract with Long Fence before work began after an incident happened with their employee on our property
We cancelled our contract with Long Fence before work began after an incident happened with their employee on our property. We were not home when two employees of Long Roofing and Home showed up on 12/23 after 6pm to place a tarp on the roof of our sunroom. We were not informed that someone was scheduled to visit. So, we were frightened upon returning home to see 2 men walking from our backyard and a white van with no signage in our driveway. We approached asking them to identify themselves, unfortunately the gentlemen were not fluent in english so we had a language barrier. They did manage to mention Long roof. We asked how they got into the yard since the gate has to unlocked from the inside. They jimmied the gate open. They placed a used and weathered tarp upon our Roof at night. What professional/reputable business conducts business in that manner? It questions whether that workforce is also skilled, licensed, and employed according to rules and regulations. The following morning, we inspected the covering through the bathroom window. We were shocked and perplexed to see broken/snapped pieces of wood, floorboard and screws left and used on our roof(pics). This is NOT quality or acceptable work. This was our determining factor to cancel contract in fear of inadequate roofing installation. We cancelled in several ways via voicemail, 2 calls and an email. On 12/28, a female rep. stated cancellation was received and our deposit would be refunded. As of 2/5, my refund has not posted to my credit card. We have interest accruing which I am now holding Long responsible for paying. We are disputing charge. Product_Or_Service: Roofing Installation Order_Number: N/A Account_Number: N/A

I've been receiving multiple calls almost every day (often around 5 per day) from Long Home Products, each call from a different phone number. I've blocked every number but still receive several calls daily. I've never done business with this company or put my number on any list requesting their calls, and I am not interested in any services from Long Home Products. I would NOT recommend working with them or even contacting them!
Over the last month I've received dozens of calls from this company, even though I've never used their services. I get up 5 or 6 calls a day from different numbers, but all from Long Home and I keep having to block all of them. I've never signed up for your services, nor did I consent to being on a call list. Please remove me from all call lists immediately.
I have received approximately 20 phone calls from this company since yesterday morning, each from different numbers or towns, so that when I block the contact, I continue to receive calls. It is unacceptable. I do not know who this company is, have not done business with them, filled out any forms, or asked for this harassment. I would never do business with such an obnoxious company, whose business model includes harassing people. I even answered one of the calls eventually to speak to someone about removing my number from their list, and they hung up on me! I expect to never again receive calls or texts, or any communication from this company!
I have received approximately 30 phone calls from this company since yesterday morning, now today again, each from different numbers or towns, so that when I block the contact, I continue to receive calls. It is unacceptable. I do not know who this company is, have not done business with them, filled out any forms, or asked for this harassment. Please have our telephone number removed from their list. Thanking you in advance.
Our contract was signed on January 10th 2022, the first visit was March 10th 2022, and the last visit was today, July 6th 2022, without them
Our contract was signed on January 10th 2022, the first visit was March 10th 2022, and the last visit was today, July 6th 2022, without them finishing the job, and actually they trying not to take responsibility for their mistakes. We understand that mistakes and things happen; and that is why we agreed to accept a shower base with the wrong dimensions. We also know that sometimes, you get delayed, but this is too much, and has been going on for too long. The crews we have received in our home have ranged from bullies, others respectful but not very knowledgeable, to others with some expertise. All crews arrived in their own private vehicles (no company logo), and at least one confessed to be a contractor with ***, and that he actually worked with other companies too. We had had our share of contractors, large and small, come to our home the last two years, and this is the first time we had had such a horrible experience. The rest of our contractors have either finished the job on time, or have taken charge of their delays and been proactive in fixing them. This has not been our experience with Long Home Products, and I would recommend anyone to stay away from them. After waiting on them more than 12 times, them not showing up four times, having them missing or wrong materials at least three times, and being overdo over three months we demand that: 1.- They finish the job, 2.- They compensate us for all the inconveniences, the reiterated failures to appear, having us almost 4 months without our master bathroom ready, and for being misled on what type of company they are. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need a copy of the contract, call logs, voice mails, messages, etc. Best regards, *** PS: See attached detailed description of what has happened with this company.

Long Home came out to our home mid December to assess the damage of a broken storm door which they installed
Long Home came out to our home mid December to assess the damage of a broken storm door which they installed. The Long Home guarantee promises repair or replacement on all their products. The technician claimed he would get back to us regarding the repair. A couple of months had passed and I called back and I was told a new door was ordered and they would let us know when it was received. Another month had passed and again we heard nothing. I called back and spoke to Tim H. who said that in fact a door was never ordered, and actually nothing had been done because the technician notes were not in the report. What? How could this be when I was told the door was on order. He apologized and then said the technician was not available so he would have to call me back by the end of the week, Friday. He did not call back. So I called them back and asked to speak to a manager. I was not allowed to speak to the manager, but I believe her name is Jen M. and was then told they had the tech notes. Based on the notes they said we needed a new door and they would order one and would call me back again by the end of the week. Again no call. I called on Saturday (4/22) and spoke to Josylin (sp?) who said they did not hear back from the manufacturer which again I did not understand. Either you ordered the door or you didn't, but again, they said they would call me back. So another two weeks passed with no information. I call again today, 5/2/22 to check on the status and the person again now tells me he has to check with the technician to get his notes to see what kind of repair is needed. What? I am back to square one? Where is the door that they supposedly ordered? It is clear to me that they are blatantly lying and just using stalling tactics to get out of this replacement. I want a replacement door installed within 30 days.

I purchased a shower replacement on 4/28/2022
I purchased a shower replacement on 4/28/2022. It was to remove our homes original shower down to the studs, and install new show basin, walls, ceiling piece, fixtures, and custom (80") glass shower doors. The projected timeline was 8-12 weeks from ordering to installation. The shower was installed on 6/27/22. However, the doors were delayed, and were to be installed by another team (***). My communications were primarily through Long Home. Eventually I was told the glass doors were in and would be installed by Long Home's regular or primary installer (Javier). I even talked to him and was assured he would personally do it, which he did with Carlos and completed the shower door installation on 7/16/22. Initially, from a visual standpoint, the doors and overall product looked great. However, the door installer noted when showing us his work that the right door may need to be nudged shut if it reopens. We had to wait 24 hours to use it, but ever since that first use -- the right door will NOT stay shut. The left door works perfectly. I contacted the installer and asked about the problem. He assured me it was "plumb" and installed properly, but it does NOT stay shut and slides open while showering. Upon closer examination I can see the left side has a metal shim to help its positioning on the track. However, the right has no margin of error, appears to be too high and not able to be lowered, thus the rolling back of the door. I do not know how it can be repaired without compromising the waterproof shower walls. The total purchase price was $16,000. It comes with a transferable lifetime warranty to replace any or all of it. I have reached out to the shower door installer and Long Home (by text and email by which they previously replied) but have not received any responses. I want what we paid for and for the basic function of a shower door to stay shut!

Date: 12/10/2022 Amount Paid: 23K Long Home Products Verbally agreed to provide a cricket along the edge where house meets the garage addition
Date: 12/10/2022 Amount Paid: 23K Long Home Products Verbally agreed to provide a cricket along the edge where house meets the garage addition to protect the garage area from storm water leakage. This agreement was verbal and covered in the contract referenced under addendum "Rotted Roof Sheathing Replacement." The dispute is the company agreed to do this minor thing as a prerequisite to *** installing a gutter system. The *** Contract was delayed to allow for Long Home to complete the roof install. We discussed this at length, involved other people at both companies, and agreed it would be done, no problem, prior to any gutter installation by ***. The cricket was never installed and the project manager never gets back to me with a resolution His communication went from wanting to help, to saying the problem could not be solved with a cricket, to blaming the subcontractor, then implying I needed to work it out with the subcontractor when my issue is with Long Home Products. The subcontractor said they would do it upon company approval but now Long is saying nothing can be done; conflating this small issue with a much larger "structural problem" that will involve city permits and the like. I never asked for major construction. We agreed to installing a cricket and no one will take responsibility. Their solution is to ignore me. I have called over a dozen times with several emails, many times with duplicate information, since no one there seems to keep my communication records in one place to have a complete picture of my issue. When talking with the project manager, he says he will get back to me but NEVER does. I think he is busy and just hopes I will go away; and he is apparently correct, since I am getting nothing but excuses over and over again. I am disappointed by this lack of follow up and miscommunication by Long Home Products. I love my new roof but do not appreciate being ignored after the fact.

My Mom hired Long Roofing to replace our roof
My Mom hired Long Roofing to replace our roof. The salesman told us we had 3 layers of shingles and that the roof needed to be replaced asap. While he was setting up the contract, we specifically stated we wanted gutter guards. I asked the Forman for the roofing crew if there were 3 layers of shingles. He said no, the sales people don't know anything about roofs. The gutter crew made a disaster of our property. They worked half a day on Saturday and stopped when it started raining. On Monday they send out two men who did no work that I could see. However, they left food trash, knives, building materials and ladders strewn all over the property. They used one of my trashcans i use for kindling to put nails in. They put new boards over rotting wood. The items all over my property have been sitting there for nearly a week! In addition, they randomly came onto my property and took the ladders WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING! Absolute strangers walking onto and around my property with no notice!?!?!? This morning, my mom and I talked to the work crew Forman and pointed out the food trash. They start laughing before they picked it up. I spoke the the project manager and all he said was that he would tell his crew to make sure all the nails are picked up. That is apart of cleaning up after yourself, that is not a solution. My property has been treated like a dumping ground for nearly a week. My Mom got on the phone with the salesman. When she pointed out that he was wrong about the 3 layers of shingles he replies with "So what?" My Mom put all her savings into this upon his insisting it gets done asap and she gets "So what?" He never placed gutter guards on the contract, so he wants to add $5000 to the contract, which was already signed and money has already been paid. He begins to argue with my Mom and then me. The conversation ends with the salesman hanging up on me. The crew took the materials and left. The contract was made under false pretense.

On 19, July 2022 Long Home Products did a Tub to Shower conversion for $16,384
On 19, July 2022 Long Home Products did a Tub to Shower conversion for $16,384. When the work was completed we found that the installers work resulted in hole our bathroom floor approximately 1 ft 17 inches in length and 2 1/2 inches deep, a dime size hole in the ceiling, the shower walls cut uneven and caulking in the shower incomplete. Long Home sent a survey for me to complete on the work and I gave them a 1 being the lowest score and I asked to be contacted regarding the poor work and repair and replacement for damages incurred. Long home sent out a repair man to look at the damages and repair what damages could be addressed on same day. The repair closed the dime shape hole in the ceiling and around the shower shelves that were installed but he said he couldn't repair the hole in floor or the unevenly cut wall installation. Ms Carol D the Project Manager was contacted 8 August 2023 regarding the damage to the bathroom floor and asked if Long Homes planned on making repairs to the floor if the tile could be matched or replaced. Ms D in response said that she would be sending a technician out on the 10 August to retrieve a sample of the tile to try and match its replacement. On the 10 August the tech name Luis came and pulled up a piece of the tile leaving a hole in the floor. Note: The installers caused a hole in the floor during the installation and tried to put the cracked piece back to cover up the hole which left the floor uneven and susceptible to mold. After taking part of the cracked tile, Ms D contacted by email with samples of tiles that may match our tile but none came close. I advised Ms D that none of the tiles matched ours. After speaking with Ms. D we concluded that I would have to choose a different color. I advised Ms. D that I would buy the new tile and grout but the installation will be at Long Homes expense. Til this day Long Home still have not repaired the hole and replaced the tile. Just a runaround!

On September 9 I signed a contract for $21,872 with Long Home Products for a roof replacement at ***
On September 9 I signed a contract for $21,872 with Long Home Products for a roof replacement at ***. I had two concerns after the work was completed on October 27th. 1. The new gutter in the back was smaller than the old gutter. As a result, there was a small section of exposed wood. When I pointed the exposed wood out to the person who installed the gutter, he stated the contract didn't require him to cover the wood. There was also an opening in the wood, which he did cover with a piece of white metal after I pointed out we had problems with birds building a nest under the gutter. 2. A small portion of the roof in the back did not have capping. When I pointed the missing covering out to Ricardo (the foreman), he stated it was not required because that piece of the roof was not attached to another building. I sent an email to Bobby C (the Sales Manager who wrote the contract) and Bevin C (the Project Coordinator) to document my concerns. A worker returned and corrected the problem with the exposed wood, but the problem with the incomplete capping has not been addressed. I sent another email stating only one of my concerns had been addressed. Bevin C responded (abbreviated) "The issues listed where sales issues. Our installer was correct, the capping was not sold with your original contract however as a courtesy to you they came back out to complete the capping at no cost for you. When I pointed out the poor aesthetics of having capping on one side of the roof and not on the other side. She offered to send a photo and my complaint to her management team. She later replied "I have spoken with my management team and after having them review the photos, it has been concluded that the contracted work has been completed on your home as well as the capping." I have attached pictures showing capping going around all sides of the roof except one corner. The mismatch can be seen when looking at the back of the house.

We hired Long April 30 for window replacement/install
We hired Long April 30 for window replacement/install. Told it would take 8-10 weeks. Contract estimated 6-8 weeks. Took 1 month for rep to measure because we were told he didn't want to drive to our house bc He lived north of Boston. Windows installed ~Aug. 31. Told it would take 1-2 days. Took 5 hours. 1 sash had a crack, 1 window was installed in incorrect room and is crooked, 1 custom window either measured or ordered wrong size and installers had to add 1" of extra molding on all sides to hold it in place. Also, install was shoddy: excessive glue everywhere, damage on all window frames, and a sawzall went through our bathroom window frame due to rushing. Our contract does say contractor won't be responsible for damage, but there is no excuse for the glue & sawzall. Tried calling Long multiple times, couldn't get callback in 2 weeks! Wrote a bad Yelp review and the next morning (Sept. 13)Long sales rep Devon called me. Sent her pictures and she sent rep, Josh to our house. He confirmed they ordered wrong window and wrong window was installed in wrong room. He ordered new windows and moved the cracked sash into the window that needed to be replaced. Told it would be 8-10 weeks for windows. Nov. 24 come to reinstall, Josh again and he only has a window sash (for the cracked window). Called Long, said they only had order for sash. Manager told me they couldn't rush order. Received call mid Jan. That windows were shipping on Jan. 31 and would be installed mid-Feb. it's now Feb. 17 and windows have not been received or installed. This is going on 42 weeks, there is no excuse for such a drawn out process or why our window order was not placed correctly, even though I watched Josh place the order in his iPad and write it down in August. The company has zero accountability, >42 weeks is inexcusable time frame. We never would have worked with Long if we knew this is how long it would take an estimate of 6-8 weeks to >42 weeks isn't even in same ballfield

I have an almost 100 y/o home and finally made the decision to replace the roof
I have an almost 100 y/o home and finally made the decision to replace the roof. After reviewing other companies, i decided to go with Long Roof (a devision of Long Home Products). On May 7th I placed an order to have my entire roof, gutters, and downspouts replaced. The sales person ensured me that the roof would be installed by the end of May (3-week turnaround). On or about June 9th I began a series of calls to inquire about the status of my order. I was informed that the permits had not been approved. I called DRCA (Washington DC's body for licensing and permits) and was informed that the permit was processed and approved on June 1st but not paid for. After several additional calls between Long and DCRA on June 17th i obtained the permit from DCRA and forwarded it to Long so that they could begin the installation. On June 28th (a month after the anticipated installation) the work began. The team removed the existing roof and started working on the underlayment. On June 29th as he shingles were being installed, i heard some sort of yelling (in another language), and work continued. That evening, when my partner attempted to use the sink in the upstairs bathroom, water began to pour into the livingroom and the entryway to the house. I immediately notified Long, who sent a plumber. the next day (June 30th) The plumber proceeded to rip out a large section of the bathroom wall. He then informed me that the roofer has to come back to inspect outside. The next day (July 1st) the roofer removed a section of the new installation and determined that there was not "nail" that damaged the pipes and that the leaking pipe was just coincidence. Long has taken no responsibility for this damage. The gutter installation also began on July 1st, when the stopped work o we noticed that the gutters were white, i ordered black gutters and downspouts. Today is July 11th. Long has made no attempt to contact me, they have not responded to emails and have not completed the job.
