We had a full roof installation carried out in OCT 2019 by Long Roofing. Our home is oil heated and an oil furnace is used to distribute heat into the property. In Jan 2020 our heating system began showing signs that it may be failing (or so we thought). We had begun to notice that black smoke and a fuel odor had begun to come from the air vents when in use. Due to all the ongoing issues we ceased all use of the heating system and began to look for a new one as we just assumed that the furnace was old and needed to be replaced. The company that came to install the new furnace for us found that when Long Roofing installed the new roof they completely removed the duct work that releases the emissions from the furnace out of the property and never reinstalled it, they also placed insulation over the furnace opening which explains the soot and fuel odor in the house! Due to this the attic is now covered in black soot and charred insulation, the walls around the vents in the home and the attic hatch are/were covered with soot and smoke streaks and the carpets have been contaminated with soot particles. We have been told by numerous people who have carried out work not only for us but carried out the work for LONG Roofing that we are VERY lucky as this mistake could have burnt down the entire house or even caused the death of the entire household from the emissions that were being released into the attic and throughout the property. November 13th I reached back out to Long Roofing and spoke to Adam Lewellen (Director of operations) We spoke at length and I agreed that I would not retain legal counsel if we could come to an agreement with them on rectifying and compensating us for their mistake. He promised replacement of floors and anything that was contaminated and a refund for the roof and also that he would have someone fit the missing vent. I purchased Roof replacement from Long Roof on 01/06. Long Roof put my new roof on, re flashed the skylight in the bathroom. Once Long Roof completed the work. The mortgage company sent an inspector out and examined the roof. I thought all was well and signed off. I contacted Long Roof to get my roof certificate or documentation of roof completion and didn't get a response. The roof I purchased has a 15-year warranty so I felt confident and didn't peruse. My newly installed Long Roof began to leak less than 2 years of final installation. I noticed water damage in the newly remolded master bedroom and bath. I called Long Roof and told them my issue. I was contacted by Timothy H who scheduled someone to come to inspect my roof and fix the problem on January 14th 2022. They sent Jose he repaired the roof and sealed the skylight. He took pictures of the interior. He said someone would call to schedule the interior repair. I couldn't verify his repair it looked to me like it was still leaking. I never got a call so I called Long Roof. They made an appointment for someone to come out. I took off work no one showed up. I called Long Roof and the Technician was stuck in Virginia on another project. I called to reschedule they said I missed my previous appointment which wasn't true. After being threatened for a no-show charge which I explained they were the ones who didn't show. I made another appointment and took off again. Long Roof sent another guy who didn't have a ladder that would reach my roof, but he who took pictures. He said someone would call. Again, no call. I called again to schedule a repair. I took off work again they sent Jose who took more interior pictures on 6/23/2022. He said would forward the pictures to the production team. No one called. I called the production team on 8/11/2022 they said someone would contact me. Today is 8/13/2022 and I haven't received any correspondence from Long Roof. I need my Roof and Interior repaired correctly.

After July , after my elderly mother arrived at my house and having the need to transform my bathtub to a walk-in shower; I decided to get quotes from numerous companies to convert the bathtub to a walkin shower, I decided to go with Longhome Products.BOY WHAT A MISTAKE.Since then, I have had nothing but subpar quality of workmanship due to the project being performed by subcontractors whom DO NOT take pride in their craft and work on someone else's house.I am disgusted and unbelievably unhappy with their lack of care and ability/capability to fix my issues and if it is achieved, you better expect the minimum to be done on their end in order to "fix"the issues. Since purchasing 10K worth of a project; I have had the unpleasant disappointments to have them have to come out 3x in LESS THAN A YEAR OLD product installed that they so "rave about on their sales pitch". Do NOT purchase their winky dinky shelves because they'll keep giving you headaches.The ones I have purchased from Amazon lasts longer and hold on better than theirs ever will.Talk about subpar products. They came out here on FEB 10th, for the same issue with the shelves. Prior to that was the holes left behind on my walls due to the "vibration of the equipment used to cut the fiberglass tub". Fast forward to July 10th; EXACTLY 5 months to the date; I contacted the Project Coordinators(Brian and Patrick) via text message; along with a video of the shelves falling apart(probably cheap calking) yes they use caulking to glue the shelves to the corner or of walls for the second time; I was contacted by one of the project coordinators Patrick and we were able to agree on a date for the "subcontractor" to come and FIX the issue.Patrick and I agreed on 7/21/22 between 1pm-4pm.At which time I requested half day off in order to be able to be here and and approve the end product. The guy arrives at my house at 11:36AM. I lost half day of work and my wife also.NOT HAPPY at all.Lost wages need to be compensated.
