corn dogs
I purchased a box of Foster farms Corn Dogs and usually when I purchase boxes of your Corn Dogs the side of the box is glued shut where you open. This box was not glued, but shut. I was cautious to eat any as I do not know if there was any exposure or possibility of contamination. I did call and speak with a Foster Farms associate who directed me to this page for further answers from Foster Farms. Thank you.
individually wrapped fryer thighs upc 35059
I bought the product for $10.54 and I refrigerated product right after returning from the market. The freeze by date showed to be 8/25/2018. So, I kept it in the meat section of our refrigerator the whole time. I finally took the product out and tried to cook the chicken on 8/24/2018 and it smelled god awful and horrible. I demand a refund or replacement of the product.
jumbo corn dog double dipped in honey
I purchased 4 corn dogs out of the freezer section on August 15 by 10:22 pm. They have a best by date of 09-19 -18. They cost .70c a piece.
Then drive right home and put them in the freezer.
The next day at noon we put the corn dogs in the microwave and heated at least the recommended time and a little more time to be sufficiently heated to desired warmth. They were eaten outside and my boys complained they were moldy and green on the inside. One boy even threw up. I'd be happy to mail/email the receipt and mail the package wrapper to you, but wanted this resolved in a timely manner.
Sincerely

whole roasting chicken
I only buy Foster Farm Chicken products. I raise chickens as pets and for eggs, myself, so am very aware of weight. I was quite disappointed after buying a supposedly 6.33 lb chicken and knowing it sure didn't look like or feel like an over six pounder, I decided to weigh it on my professional food scale. I was aware there might be some difference minus the blood, after removing it from the bag but NOT the amount of difference I found! When a recipe calls for a 6 -6 1/2 lb chicken and you think that's what you're getting, the time cooking and seasoning will be quite different when what you really have is a 5 POUND CHICKEN ! That's right, the Foster Farm Chicken was labeled 6 .33 POUNDS BUT REALLY WEIGHED 5. 74 ! I couldn't believe it. I also weighed the saturated bloody/water enclosed plastic sealed package, that looked to be stuffed with paper towels and saw that it weighed 1.9 POUNDS ! WOW ! That was quite shocking to find that I was paying for 1. 9 pounds of bloody paper towels ! I certainly can't eat that, so I don't know why I was made to think I was getting and paying for a much larger chicken. I didn't bother weighing all the bloody water that was also enclosed, I did think it was an amount more than usual. Is this standard for your company? Am I expected to guess how big the chicken REALLY weighs upon purchasing? I thought it would be plenty for my family at the labeled weight, but it wasn't. While I would expect some slight difference, I wouldn't have expected such a huge difference. Could you please enlighten me how the weight is decided and how should I contemplate further purchases in regards to knowing what the chicken really weighs?
Thank you, Regards, Suzanne Boesing
feedback re truck accident
I encourage Foster Farms to begin to work with animal advocates to provide more transparency around what is happening on farms and in slaughterhouses. You do know that this business is inherently cruel and to begin the shift now to a kinder, healthier and more sustainable business model and go plant based would be the thing to do. Animal agribusiness should also not be self regulated as we see by repeated undercover exposes. Please advocate for third party, arms length oversight.
Please work hard to get the charges dropped against the activist who tried to save one poor chicken from the truck accident. It would go a long way for PR for your company.
Thank you

employees/"management"
A family member of mine has been employed with foster farms in Porterville, CA for a while now, excellent employee who loved his job! I have noticed since day one that there's never any punishment for employees NOT SHOWING UP FOR DAYS straight, coming to work DRUNK, smoking weed in the bathrooms! And other issues that have occurred and not punished by "MANAGEMENT" . BUT SINCE FAVORITISM OCCURS I GUESS THAT IS THERE REASON TO NOT FIRE THESE PEOPLE ? Some people don't even SPEAK ENGLISH AND HAVE MANAGEMENT TITLES !(Maria Pacheco learn English!) GET SERIOUS!The food IS NOT PROPERLY HANDLED AT ALL . OUTDATED ITEMS REDATED, FOOD BEING DROPPED AND PLACED BACK INTO WRAPS AND BOXES(ON MARIA PACHECOS WATCH) And to top it off my family member had his car break down and was late returning from his break AFTER NEVER HAVING A SINGLE ISSUE AT WORK. (AND EVERY ABSENCE HAD BEEN VERIFIED BY A DOCTOR) HE WAS FIRED . FOSTER FARMS NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT AND NEEDS TO WORRY ABOUT WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THAT BUILDING ! HE SHOULD OF RECEIVED A VERBAL WARNING NOT TERMINATION! GET BACK TO SCHOOL AND EDUCATE YOURSELVES ON MANAGEMENT SKILLS BECAUSE YOU HAVE NONE!
chicken breast
I purchased a package of chicken breast fillets at my local target store and when i began to eat one of them i cut my mouth with a sharp piece of chicken bone. The chicken i purchased were boneless and as you can imagine it was quite disturbing to find a sharp piece of chicken bone in my piece of meat.
Please see the corresponding photos below. I think it's important to bring this to your attention.

labor
Hello people here again rosita diaz from cherry location. Just wanted to remind you that foster farms abuses his employees and the chickens in facility. The way they kill the chickens is just cruel. Since I started working for foster farms I stopped eating chicken nit to mention my family after watching the documentaries of how they treat the animals its inhuman.
chicken breasts I bought from the redding walmart.
So I bought a package of yalls chicken breasts and as I opened the package I noticed some black objects buried within the skin of the chicken. They looked like they could have been some sort of fly eggs or type of worm that found it's way into the chicken as it was being processed by this company. Pay better attention, this [censor] is disgusting! Please do something about this.
all of the chicken!
They abuse the chicken and I was repulsed by seeing video and picture from a few of your locations which are dark ammonia filled sheds with workers that have nothing better to do then abuse the chickens! It is disgusting! American Humane Certified MY [censor]! My dad got food poisoning after eating your chicken! That was obviously before I found out how low quality the product is. I am definitely not vegan but am not for the way animals are raised.
frozen chicken nuggets and feces!?
One of the nuggets in my bad of frozen chicken nuggets from Foster farms had what looks like poop from something under the breading. At first it just looked like discoloration but after cooking and peeling back the breading layer it was much more visible that is was something disgusting. I️ am just happy I️ found it before eating any, will never buy foster farms products again

I have a 3 year old boy that I struggle to get him to eat nutritious food. one of his favorites are corn dogs cuz they are fun to eat. I was shopping the other day and I picked Foster Farms mini corn dogs over the other brand of mini corn dogs because Foster Farms had a better price. I just open them today and I was disgusted on the shape the formation of most of these corn dogs some are attached to another some are deformed some are small some are Long. I put them down in front of my son and he looked up at me like are you kidding me you expect me to eat that. I wanted to try some of there other products but now I'm unsure because of the result of the mini corn dogs.
These mini corn dogs are [censored]ed up. The breading doesn't cover the dog. It's like wrapping a jigsaw puzzle around a meatloaf. The coating falls off like patchy zombie flesh. And it doesn't get crispy. I left it in until the outside started to burn and when I took them out, the inside was mush. I wouldn't be surprised if these monstrosities have made somebody jump off a balcony.
There's more to it than that, 100% of the pre-cooked chicken strips & cut non-breaded strips they sell are UNDER COOKED or Not Cooked at all.
popcorn chicken
I bought the foster farms Popcorn chicken at Winco in Tulare Ca. My 15 year old son was going to bake them so he put them on a tray when he looked down thier was a dead
fly in the pan. It could not have just died and fell on the tray because it was frozen. That is discusting I always buy Foster farms but after this I think ill start buying another brand.
wrongful termination
I had an appointment to attend the week before I was sick I did have the proof for that. I ended up with a sore throat/ strep. I have unable to go to a doctor because Merced county does not accept my insurance. Everything is in the process of being switched from San Joaquin county to Merced county. I've had stepped throat before so that os how I knew what it was and understood that we are unable to work sick around the raw chicken. I had spoken to HR, a woman I spoke to said they would investigate it. Which omwas quick because it only took 10-15 minutes after a receptionist had called me and said to come in and have security walk me to HR. Victoria passed me my check unemployment information and termination paper. That was not an investigation I went to work still a little sick to show some effort and was sent home by my supervisor NOT due to being sick but for missing those days I had called in sick. I went home early because I was falling asleep my body wasn't used to the schedule and I believe it takes time to adjust from 12:30am to 9:00am it was also more convenient because I was carpooling with a coworker whom didn't have their own ride I even let him take the car on my sick days I would also like to report. As I worked my trainer would yank on my wrists when I brought this to my supervisors attention she laughed smiled and said well that is your trainer I said a trainer isn't supposed to touch you or grab you with force and a guy would cough over the chicken as he packed it. Another employee would sneeze on her glove and touch the chicken before deboning it. Other coworkers would shove me when it was time to wash our gloves the guy who takes the skin while we deboned the chicken called me a maldito mayate on my first day i knew what it meant I've been called that when I was a kid but never at a workplace.
organic chicken breasts
Todays date is March 3, 2017 and the last incident was some time in last month in Feb 2017. I have gone to Costco in Kauai, HI and purchased 4 separate packs of the 3 packs of organic chicken breasts and thighs for me and my family visiting from out of town and each time I have opened them up 4-5 days before the expiration date and the chicken has been bad. It has consistently had a fowl oder and has disappointed my dinner plans on several occasions. I don't normally do this but the chicken is not cheap and they've been large purchases. I kept the chicken in the freezer just in case someone needed proof but now its just taking up space as well.
buffalo style strips
The other day I went to go buy groceries and I wanted to grab something fast and easy for my family after I got home grocery shopping. There were 4 of us and I was thinking we could have two each. When I got home I opened up the bag and it did not contain the amount it said.
The video explains it.
However, in the bag of chicken I bought it said it contained 8 pieces and there was only 6.
meat, pork and chicken
I recently purchased Boneless pork chops and Foster Farms chicken breasts. They were a real disappointment. I have previously purchased them and been happy with the products. The pork is incredibly tough, chewing my shoe would have been easier.
My problem with the chicken breasts is two fold, firstly they have been spongey in texture, secondly they have become so large that one breast is too large for two people. These appear to be no "spring chickens" as the expression goes. So, what's changed? I am not looking for a refund I just want to give you my input.
bright green growth inside chicken
I purchased 2 whole "fresh" Foster Farm Chicken on Friday for use on Saturday. Upon cutting them up on Saturday morning, I came across a large bright green growth on the inside cavity of the bird. Absolutely awful looking, I bundled up the carcas along with wrappings and receipt to return to Safeway, Orinda, in hopes that they would be as concerned as I...
Read full review of Foster Farms1 inch bone found in boneless nuggets
My family found a 1 inch bone in their boneless chicken nuggets. Our 3 year and 19 month old couldve choked on this bone. We now live in fear of them choking on a hidden bone from foster farms in CA. They have not settled this matter with us and we are now going to take them to court. So buyer beware they let 1 inch sized bones into their products that children and adults can choke on!! This is a very very dangerous situation!
