The technicians that Four Seasons employs are fantastic--they know what they're looking at and answered all my questions in ways that a non-expert could understand. They also made great recommendations for future maintenance (both what's needed and what's not needed, which I seldom get), and they really seemed to care about doing a good job. The only reason I gave Four Seasons only four stars is because their accounting department is not very organized. I recently purchased a new *** unit from them as well two replacement parts for my furnace and an overall duct cleaning--but for some reason the accounting department categorized one of the furnace parts as part of the *** purchase and grouped the other part in with the "service" of duct cleaning; we agreed that I would pay the costs in two installments. When I paid the first installment, though, I had to go through hours of negotiating on the phone to get a receipt that showed my payment going towards both the "parts" and "services"! Even the full payment receipt didn't itemize everything. This annoyed me because I'm a business owner myself and it's standard practice to give clients an itemized receipt showing what their money went toward--also, my *** unit if a high efficiency one that I've got to show proof of purchase to the *** for to get a tax break. That said, although Four Seasons' accounting department is frustrating I think the professionalism and caring of their technicians is worth it. They also scheduled all of our work quickly.
Company service call on Saturday, December 10th, 2022
Company service call on Saturday, December 10th, 2022. A technician was the tech sent. I rarely use contractors or hire out repairs, especially now with the current prices. This experience was a pleasant surprise. I have used 4 seasons before and their techs seem to be decent. My furnace was randomly not allowing gas into the heat exchanger. The tech arrived when he said he would and was very professional on the phone. He put on his blue shoe covers and we went to the furnace. Within a short time, he had tested all the components. He was able to identify some loose wire connections on the gas valve. I have a friend out of state, who owns and operates an HVAC business. The tech was as good or better than guys with many years on the job. He was thorough and able to hold a conversation while troubleshooting my furnace. That tells me he has learned his profession well. Anyone can swap parts, proper diagnosis takes skill and experience. What impressed me the most was the tech's quiet, calm demeanor. He was very direct and focused. His responses to my questions demonstrated that he paid attention to what was said and understood what I was asking for. Most importantly, the tech explained all of my repair options and the costs. He never tried to pressure or bs me. In closing, I can honestly say, the tech reminded me of a better time in this country when skilled people took pride in what they did and had respect for themselves and each other. I hope 4 seasons finds more techs like him and takes care of them. Thanks, 4 seasons and the tech!
Did a great job installing new furnace, it was expensive but worth every dime my house is warm and comfy thank you again. ?
On time and kept us informed when the technician was coming. Did a great job, took time to listen to our issues and provided information to assist on how to resolve it.
The technicians at Four Seasons were professional, efficient, respectful and answered all of my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Four Seasons for your heating and Plumbing needs. You will not be disappointed with the quality of service that they provide. Thank you, Four Seasons!
The technicians were polite, knowledgeable, professional and hardworking. They worked for 8 hours to custom configure the installation of our new furnace.
Heating Tech showed up as per prescheduled appointment
Heating Tech showed up as per prescheduled appointment. Boiler was not on so he asked that to raise the temp so that the boiler would be on. With the boiler on he placed an instrument on top next to the relief valve, he said to check the CO emission. He then told me the boiler was releasing to much CO and he could not preform the Tune Up that it was company policy. He said his instrument should read one (1) or less that this was a dangerous situation. He showed me the reading was 16/19, I could not read it very well. He then disconnected some wires on the boiler saying it was company policy to shut down the boiler. He said not to worry he could help me and called his office, he told me they could have a crew at my home with a new boiler ready to install Monday morning, this was Friday evening for $7800. This is a lot of money and I was not expecting this kind of situation. I wondered what if the Tune Up or just a good cleaning would correct the problem, but I was not given that option. I told the tech I do not spend that kind of money on the spur of the moment, that I needed a second opinion. With that he picked up some tools and stared for my Electrical Panel. Without any hesitation I told him he could not touch my Elec. Panel. He then packed up his tools and left, saying that if I wanted he would give me written quote for a new boiler. I said OK and he went to his truck and left me a quote. In my opinion this was just a very high pressure scare method of selling a new boiler, I will never do business with this Four Seasons again.

Tech was on time and courteous. Explained to me what he was going to do. Upon finish cleaned up work area. Good experience
I was a to obtain a quote for a new furnace and the whole team did a great job at providing outstanding customer service from sales to installation techs
They did a phenomenal job. The technician was early and answered all of my questions. The work was done efficiently and without any errors.
I had my humidifier serviced. The tech was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I have been using Four Seasons for years and they never disappoint me.
Furnace installed December 17
Furnace installed December 17. Previous furnace was leaking water down to downstairs tenant damaging their ceiling. Was convinced by a rep to purchase a new furnace and that they would make sure this do not happen again and a new furnace should take care of it. Not even a year after, the furnace started leaking water again and shutting down automatically. Initially right after install and the technician turned the heat on, massive amount of water started leaking at the bottom of the furnace. The tech was going to leave it as it is, until I insisted for him to fix it and started taking pictures. Tech came back and re-configure some piping. A month ago, water started leaking again. The furnace was off at that time and the tech said now the AC is the problem. Went through the motion of cleaning and vacuuming, but nothing substantial was done to really root out the problem. Yesterday, it happened again, water leaking and furnace shutting off. After drying the sensor, turned the furnace back on and now there's rattling noises and the furnace is not blowing as hot air as it should. On first install the tech kept setting the thermostat up to 80 for some reason. I guess to compensate for the fact that the furnace does not blow as hot air as it should. We have it set at 76, but the room temp reads 72, the furnace is not cycling as often and as long and powerful as my old furnace. Now that the AC is off, they cant point to it being the problem again. It is just unacceptable to pay so much money and not even a year after, still having the same problem. Not only do I have o pay for incompetent techs, I have to pay for possible damages again to the downstairs tenant, as I have previously done, if this problem is not fixed.
Had our yearly cleaning and check up done on our heating system. The serviceman was was very professional, informative, and prompt.
Our boiler went out & needed a new one. They were very professional & knowledgeable with the *** They cleaned up the area after they were done.
Professional and through. They clean our vents. Rich was our guy. Great job!
Prompt courteous and professional arrived on time did a great job
Untrustworthy, They don't let their plumbers install hot water heaters; instead insist their HVAC Techs do it
Untrustworthy, They don't let their plumbers install hot water heaters; instead insist their HVAC Techs do it. Their techs did a horrible job twice causing damage. They did not use the right rod for well water, they left an illegal saddle valve without replacing it TWICE , they had such sloppy soldering it was obvious. It is impossible to reach a plumbing manager by phone. Not even their customer service peeps can do so. There is a huge disconnect between the plumbing and the HVAC depts and plumbers can't do their jobs because HVAC won't let them. LIABILITY! They had a plumber at my house who identified the problem, could have fixed it right away, and their office sent him away due to HVAC Dept red tape. I don't have all day again and again to stand around for this company's problems with internal communication. They are increasing my water bill with all the waste. Their service claims are unethical lies: "our experienced licensed plumbers are ready to help now" They are not. This company won't use them for plumbing jobs. They want to use cheap non-plumber HVAC Techs. Their own techs and plumbers are not allowed to call and talk to dispatch or managers. They have to email or text and then stand around. The second time they showed up to replace the 9 week old corroded hot water heater, a plumber was supposed to do the work. I was promised a plumber. Instead they sent 2 techs again. I told the techs it was to be a plumber, the techs manager told them "if she wants hot water she will let you in" (to do the work). And now, the work was not done correctly again. No resolution yet. They expect me to again lose a day waiting around for install corrections. Will they finally let a plumber do a plumber's job? They do not respect customers, They lie. Unethical. Disappointing. Unacceptable and they call you back.

I scheduled my annual furnace inspection
I scheduled my annual furnace inspection. Inspector shows up, and within 10 minutes says that my furnace is unsafe and he can not turn it back on. He then goes on to claim that the unit is leaking carbon monoxide, and has a cracked heat exchange. In order to repair it the cost would be more than $1000 as the part needed was a specialty item. He then says the best option is to install a replacement unit for approx $7,000 and asks me if I was interested in applying for a Home Depot credit card to help with financing. My father in law had a furnace installed in his home 3 weeks prior (another company) for roughly half of that price. When I challenge the tech with this information he immediately drops his offer to $5000 dollars. I refuse and demand that he restart my furnace. He does and makes me sign a document that does not hold him liable for any issues the leaky furnace may have. A couple of related items: 1. I had 2 carbon monoxide detectors on the wall directly next to the unit. Neither of them have gone off. 2. After calling a competitor then let me know that if the heat exchanger on my unit is broken it is covered by the manufacturers warranty based on the manufacture and install date of the unit. This would mean the part would not cost me a dime. 3. When calling a competitor for an install quote, the price started out at $3800 for an updated 90% efficient unit. 4. When a third competitor comes out to inspect the unit, he is unable to see any evidence of a cracked heat exchange. The unit is safe and operating as expected. Four Seasons Failed to advise me on all of my options. There was no information provided on the warranty of the current unit. They only insisted that the unit needed to be replaced and they could only guarantee that the new unit could be installed in a reasonable amount of time if I took them up on their immediate offer why the agent was in the house. This will be the last time I use their service.

I asked Four Seasons to come in and do an evaluation of my electric following two miserable experiences - with other contractors
I asked Four Seasons to come in and do an evaluation of my electric following two miserable experiences - with other contractors. The electrician that came out, *** was one of the most professional contractors I've met. I knew going into the project that I had some serious electrical problems., within minutes of arrival pointed out those problems and showed me several others - that two other so-called "professionals," and *** had missed that could have resulted in a fire in my house. These were not hard to see flaws, but blatantly obvious once the electrical panels had been removed. What made this really bad was my house had been through 3 inspections by appraisers and the local *** took the time to show me each problem from wires leading into the house (I originally had a 60amp service and 3 years ago had a 200 amp service installed. The original wires (from 50 years ago) were still there and had not been replaced. He found that the ground had never been properly emplaced, outlets that led behind walls to blank junction boxes and did not hesitate to put this all in writing - but it didn't end there.Christian then came out to do the installs of the new equipment and rewire large sections of the basement. His work was meticulous, his attention to detail was simply amazing (I am a former computer engineer). Every connection was tested, every switch, breaker, and wire checked. He worked for hours without breaks, working through lunch, and his polite attitude never varied. I could not be more pleased with his work. Four Seasons isn't perfect. They changed the schedule and didn't always communicate as well as I hoped (making a schedule change on a Sunday at 5PM to move up the schedule to the next morning as one example). So, make sure you have a schedule in place. However, the quality of the work, cost, and work ethic was above reproach. I plan on having them do other work on future projects.

Used to be a good company
Used to be a good company. Not anymore. Found out I was charged double what other Lennox installers charge to replace my old A/C unit and condenser coil. Was talked into a 17 seer unit only to find out after install that the unit is only a 14 seer but "can go up to 17 seer" according to the account department when I called. What does that even mean? I didn't have time to shop around because old condenser coil had a leak (my fault) and the house was getting hot. Plus I had always used Four Seasons in the past without any problems. Was told a price with a veterans discount but then charged a different price ("Tech" failed to tell me I wouldn't get the discount and would also be charged extra for the 0% financing-Umm hello-it's not zero percent if you take away the discount plus add extra to finance.) Was also told that they would give me a free upgrade to a 10 year warranty, only to find out Lennox does this anyway when you register the unit. Installer was very rude and left screws in the driveway, pieces of sheet metal and a line set in the yard and did a horrible install with the sheet metal. I had a UV sanitizer installed and when you turn off the lights it lit up the utility room from the huge gaps in the sheet metal. I had to tape it all up because the utility room was freezing but the rest of the house was taking a while to cool off. I'm still waiting for them to come and install the right breaker for the unit. Unit requires a 30 amp breaker but they didn't have the right one so they left the old 40 amp breaker and said I would be contacted for someone else to come and change it. Still waiting. Called and complained about the whole install but was given the run around. Was contacted for a customer satisfaction survey and when I told everything that happened, the lady sounded concerned and said "I will get this over to *** right away and someone will be contacting you because we want to keep you as a customer". Still haven't heard from them. Never again will I use this company.
My family hired four seasons to do a rodding out job from our catch basin due to flooding into our basement
My family hired four seasons to do a rodding out job from our catch basin due to flooding into our basement. After Four Seasons inspected our catch basin and home waste sewer pipe system, they determined that our home sewer pipes needed camera, jetting and rodding out to the street sewers. A very costly job was done without... A) Four Seasons suggesting or offering to give us a copy of the camera footage of the work done from our home to the City of Chicago sewers. B) Notifying City of Chicago Inspectors to informing them of a street sewer issue and to grant permission to due such work. (protocol the City of Chicago Private Plumbing Program Managers confirmed that Four Seasons is well known to know this protocol) The issue is, we are experiencing flooding again due to the City of Chicago doing more repairs due to another water back up. We explained that we just had Four Seasons out to clean out the same piping. The City ask why wasn't they notified by Four Seasons and to show them the camera footage. We called Four Seasons to explain that we need their assistance to prove they have done the work and ask why protocol was not administered, Tom who is a manager explained that it was not they responsibility to explain the protocol to customers or do protocol. We the customer need to know protocol and to ask protocol to be rendered. So much for integrity. The city has put notice that if we don't get the work done that WE PAID Four Seasons to do already, our water will be shut off and we will be fined. Four Seasons left us out to dry and will not assist us due to their negligence. We are paying customers, who hired them for installation and maintenance of our upstairs and downstairs furnace and central air units. We hired them to do plumbing and now we are in trouble with the city water department. Customers beware of protocol and do research. If the elderly call Four Seasons, they will be taken advantage of. You will be robbed of time and money with a filthy house along with unhealthy breathing conditions of sewerage water.
Technician came out to service my boiler he went down stairs and came back and said we were going to need a new pump
Technician came out to service my boiler he went down stairs and came back and said we were going to need a new pump.i ask how much is that going to cost. He said around $1500.00 I ask him would it be cheaper to purchase a new one and he said no because a new runs about $7000.00 I said wow,so my husband said let's just go ahead with this.he went back downstairs and was there for about an hour and a half. He came back up and said your ok now. I gave him the card and that was the end of the transaction . Well the next day when we went to cut on the heater it didn't work. We call Four Season and they would send someone out on October the 3rd. This time 2 different technicians came out they went downstairs and came and said we were going to need some additional work and this was going to cost $2600.00 .I said the first technician said that all we were going to need iwas a pump.i said not who is right. I call there customers service explain to them what the 1st technician had said and now what the 2nd were saying. She said she would give a manager his name was Greig I told him what the 1st technician had said and now what the 2nd were saying. He said what can I do to fix this problem. I said I don't know he said hold on for a minute, he came back and said I can give you 20% off the price which would come too $1990.00 I said let me talk to my husband. Well my husband talk to him and said how long is supposedly discount suppose to last.well we now have been going back and forth with them each time talking to a different manager. Matt the manger on Oct 8 said that the 1st technician said we were going to need some additional work, I said no he didn't not tell us this, he said well its on your invoice I said that there isn't any on my invoice that was emailed to me,he then said that there's nothing he really could do i said were is your company integrity for one technician to say this would work and another say we need more work, what the 1st technician doesn't know his job or is the company just sending people out to make commission. I'm truly hurt because I thought this was a reliable company.
This is my first ComplaintsBoard.com review
This is my first Complaintsboard.com review. I believe it's important for potential customers to know about my experience. We called Four Seasons after our AC stopped working. May Arrived and examined our AC. Determined we were out of Freon and offered several packages. We chose the most expensive option: $1500. Tech filled our unit with dyed Freon and assured us that they would fix the issue entirely or credit the entire $1500 to a repair. August - Visit 1 Arrived, investigated the AC. Determined our coil is leaking and needed to be replaced. Told us it would cost significantly more than expected. I told them the $1500 we already paid should be credited to the repair, and he recalculated. We ultimately paid only a couple hundred more. Tech ordered part and left. August - Visit 2 Two techs arrived in morning and did not leave our home until 8:00pm. My children needed to get to sleep, and it was very inconvenient to have them in our home for such a long period. In the end, everything was working as expected, and while frustrated at the length of time, I was happy to have the issue resolved. September Received a call from my downstairs neighbor that his unit has significant water damage. He has two homes and had been gone for two weeks. I determined that the drainage pipe that runs behind our water heater was dislodged, and the AC had been leaking into his unit. September - Visit 1 Called Four Seasons and they sent a tech the next day. He was able to resolve the issue. Tech had to extend the drainage pipe and then reset into the drain. Tech also took pictures of my neighbor's unit and assured me someone would call within a few days to address the damage. 2 weeks later - October No Call. I reached out, the company apologized and let me know someone would absolutely reach out within 72 hours. 72 hours later No call. I called back and was sent to customer service's voicemail line. Another day later, no call back again. Two Days Ago It's been chilly. Heat kicked on, and it blew cold air. Before calling an HVAC person, I opened up the furnace and saw that the gas control switch was set to off. After consulting my HVAC manual, I enabled the switch, and the heat was restored. In total: 10 hours in my home during Covid. Caused water leak that damaged neighbor's apartment. Never followed up on damage. Left my heat disabled while fixing the AC. I'm not sure how this process could have been worse. And I'm still waiting on them to follow up on the damage.
Recently, I had a furnace and A/C unit installed by Four Seasons
Recently, I had a furnace and A/C unit installed by Four Seasons. Prior to selecting Four Seasons, I had 2 other *** contractors come out to provide an estimate for my system. Both contractors indicated they would need to change/replace the "line set" because the new system would be 410A refrigerant and my current system is *** refrigerant. They said in order to replace the copper tubing (*** set), they would need to cut open the soffit in the bedroom and maybe in the adjacent hallway. I asked them if that was necessary to replace the 'line set' and they said "No" but this was the best practice. Their reasoning was simple, if any of the old refrigerant mixed with the new refrigerant it could lead to contamination and shortened the compressors life or the compressor would simply fail. Both contractors said installation would take approx. 2 -2.5 days to complete. 4 Seasons completed the installation in 9.5 hours and the installation was very poor. I have electrical connections where I can actually-see the wires inside this metal hose or something. They (Four-Seasons) could not get the *** unit running and said they were not sure what the issue could be but would notify the office of the problem and the office would schedule someone out. A technician came out the next day and said he found the contactor mis-wired and corrected the issue. Here is where it gets better. My son is a Sales Exec for a Fortune 500 *** company and asked the technician, what was the reason for not replacing the line set? He also asked if they verified and recorded the pressures in the system. The technician (*** or Norm) told my son if he has a complaint to call customer service. Well, I called Four Seasons to discuss my concerns and reached a manager, however, when I tried to join my son in on the conversation we somehow got disconnected. My son and I called Four Seasons back and reached a customer service representative and voice my concerns. The customer Service rep said they would connect us back to the manager that was assigned to handle our call. The manager who I was just on the phone with said he was busy and would call back later that day. 6 days later no return call, no follow-up. When the outside air temperature reached 88 degrees, I turned on my *** A/C unit expecting my home temperature to fall from 80 degrees down to 75 degrees with no issues and after 2.5 hours thermostat is reading 79 degrees. I want everyone to know my experience with Seasons and I dont intend to pay my remaining balance until this is resolved and I am assured the system is not contaminated, installation is cleaned up and I have a fully functioning system.*** L

BELIVE ME WORTH THE READ////////MY EXPERANCE WITH FOUR SEASONS First the sales person was very courteous and professional and that is the reason for one of the stars and the other star is for the product. Beyond that here is my experience. I made an appointment and the sales person came out. After some time I made a decision to have my HVAC system completely up dated as the system was 21 years old and install a new humidifier along with a U/V light. I called my salesman and we set on a date for installation. The day before the install 10/13 my salesman called 10/12 to say the unit would not be in from the warehouse and couldn't be installed 10/13. Myself and the sales person set a new date 10/15 for the install. A few hours later 4 seasons call to verify the next day appt. I called the salesman and he said the office didn't know the unit wasn't available for install. On 10/14 the office called and said the installers would be at my house on the 15th between 8am and 11am and they would me a half hour before arrival. At 8:40 am on the 15th there was a knock at my door. I opened my door and 2 guys were standing there, I told them they were suppose to call a half hour before arrival...wait for it ..they said their phone was broke. Well I said ok and opened my door but I stopped them and said you need to put something on your shoes to walk on the carpet. One of the men went back to the truck to get the shoe covers but neither one wore a mask. They asked to see the furnace which I showed them. One man began working on the furnace and I show the other man where the A/C unit was outside. When the installer was removing the old furnace I could hear a lot of banging. I went to check and saw the damage and told him the damage to my oak wood work was not acceptable and that if he needed help ask. He did see the damage and he said sorry. After hearing a lot of banging downstairs. I don't claim to be a HVAC installer but you can tell when things aren't correct. First I noticed the new furnace was put in crooked, I mention this to the installer but he didn't speak English. I told the other guy that was outside the furnace was being put in crooked which in turn would make the duct work and gas line would not line up without undue pressure at the joints. When they turned on the system I went downstairs to check and notice they even installed the filter in backwards whick is clearly marked with a arrow showing direction of *** The man asked me for a broom so I gave him a broom and a dust pan. When they felt they were done I pointed out a space between the humidifier control on the duct about 1/2 inch by 3 inch that need to be closed off and sealed and also I asked where is the gasket for behind the new humidistat controller. The one guy who spoke English said it was optional. At that point I knew I was in trouble. What other items did they think was optional? I asked why is the old humidistat still in the duct along with the wire hanging down, he said do you want it removed? I said what purpose does it serve, it no longer connected so he removed it and plugged the hole. They left many sheet metal screws on the floor and on the carpet when they dropped they garbage box on my stairs. One other thing they did return my broom but my dust pan seems to be missing. i REFUSED TO SIGN THE *** THAT SAID WAS SATISFIED. After all said and done I paid them in full and I call my sale rep. and told him the problems and he said he would have a supervisor get back to me to come and inspect the job. Well they never called as of this date. I did call the sales rep. and told him, all he could say was sorry. Next stop YELP - ANGIES LIST -
My experience with Four Seasons Heating and Cooling was horrible
My experience with Four Seasons Heating and Cooling was horrible. It started with our scheduled furnace tune up scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving. I was running errands and my husband was home available to the technician. During the visit the technician stated that he found cracks in both our furnaces and that they would have to be immediately replaced. And the technician stated that he would not put the furnace back together because carbon monoxide was possibly leaking out from the furnaces. As my husband relayed to me about this conversation with the technician is he flat out refused to put the furnace back together because of possible repercussions. In short, he stated that carbon monoxide could leak and cause us to lose our lives. Well what I'll say about this conversation between the technician and my husband is that first and foremost my husband should have realized when the technician stated he would not put the furnace back together because he was sure that this was a scary and dire situation was to take a moment and used some gosh darn common sense and realize it was not an emergency and he should have demanded that the furnace be put back together. The technician was attempting to scare and use intimidating tactics. Why I am stating this fact is I am the daughter of a NYC Battalion Chief who raised me to be overly cautious to dangers lurking in the home so I have chosen to install double the amount required by law of carbon monoxide detectors and fire alarms in my home. So even if one or two failed I know the other 10 detectors would make it quite evident that we had a problem. And prior to this visit we did not have any alarms going off. So it was definitely not an emergency. And the technicians refusal to put our furnace back together was complete bull#$@!. The technician could have had my husband sign a waiver stating that we the customer were made fully aware of this danger and that we would not hold Four Seasons liable for any problems the cracks could cause. The technician does not have the right to leave our home not in the condition he first found it ... meaning he was just trying to scare my husband and make an immediate sale. My husband agreed that Four Seasons could come back that evening and install a furnace. He made a decision to replace the the furnace that appeared to have the higher number of cracks in it. Again, this was the hours leading up to it being Thanksgiving. And definitely not an emergency. I was not aware of this decision and only found out when the 2 technicians from Four Seasons arrived at my home around 9:00 p.m. that evening. My husband let the 2 technicians into our home and I could hear them announcing themselves. They entered my home not wearing masks or even offering to put one on. They followed my husband into my kitchen where my daughter and I were chopping vegetables preparing our Thanksgiving meal and still did not put on a mask. It appeared to me that they were only concerned about getting my husbands signature on the paperwork. My daughter was flipping out over the non mask compliance and left the kitchen. I quickly got visibly and verbally upset trying to state that this was not a heating or carbon monoxide emergency and was attempting to speak with my husband about this situation and the NON MASK compliance. And still the 2 technicians did not attempt to put a mask on. Even with me raising my voice they still did not put on a mask. My husband's lapse in judgment about this entire situation falls on him. He allowed them in our home and made the decision to replace the furnace because he was very concerned about our families safety. He followed through with the service call because he felt why delay the inevitable of replacing the furnace in the near future. The work continued until almost 1:00 a.m. and according to my husband the 2 technicians never did put a mask on. Now I realize that we had to the power to throw them out of our home but after my initial blow up with my husband I stayed in my bedroom for the rest of the evening and did not interact with the technicians who were in the basement. To add the most injury to this story is Four Seasons Heating and Cooling billed us twice. YES, your reading this right, we were billed twice for the amount of $5,780.00. And to add injury to my story is that I discovered the double billing a full 3 weeks after the furnace was installed. I placed several phone calls to Four Seasons and spoke to several employees who agreed that we were doubled billed but I would have to wait for someone in the Accounting Department to reach out to me. Well 3 days went by and no contact was made by the Accounting department. So I got aggressive on my end of things and made one last phone call to Four Seasons stating that I was contacting Lisa Parker, the consumer reporter at News 5 in Chicago, and also I would be reviewing them here at the Complaintsboard.com because of their lack of consideration assisting me in resolving the matter of double billing us for the furnace.
Would give 0 stars
Would give 0 stars. This company will make you get a new furnace even if you don't really need a new furnace. Especially if you're female...so know your furnaces b/c when you call them out on it, it will be nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone that can help or answer questions, they won't call you back, and they will be extremely rude when you talk to management. Even as a customer for *** humanity. See my HVAC journey, sorry it's long but read it b/c it's pretty messed up!Background: I moved into my new home in July . I purchased a home warranty for anything that goes wrong in the new year Im in the home and it is through Home Warranty of America (HWA). See attached.9/17: I had 4 Seasons come out to do a maintenance check on my furnace as winter was coming and I am living in this house all alone with my kids so wanted to make sure all was running smoothly. They had charged me 397.95...included notes in the invoice...description to the right ? Invoice attached to email. (in attachment note my signature/initials)12/14: Furnace went out. 4 Seasons came again. Description to the right. Paid *** ? Invoice attached to email. (In attachment note my signature/initials)9/17: Customer paid *** with a check #*** Upon arrival found the furnace working cleaned checked and discover a failing ignitor, recommended a replacement customer approved setup a tech return for 9 17 20 from 2to 6 pm paid in full also replaced the humidifier filter and recommend a hot water tank relief valve replacement customer declined for today 12/14: Service call furnace. No heat. Error code for pressure switch 4-3. Checked unit. Blockage in condensate trap. Water backed up into collector box. Cleared blockage and test ran furnace. Error code with high side pressure switch. High side switch is intermittently sticking closed. Recommend replacing dual pressure switches. Parts to order both the low pressure and high pressure switch combo and set tech return for today 12/14 between 4pm-8pm. Customer paid $544 with credit card. Paid in full. January 10: *** outside of my house, I called Nicor. Nicor took a reading of the gas and *** levels and they were very high. Technician came into my home to shut off the gas valve from the furnace. It was 25degrees outside.Nicor told me that I would need to call my HVAC company right away and they would have to repair it asap to turn the gas back on. I called 4Seasons to come out that same day.Technician from Four Seasons came out the same day. His name was *** (***). I followed him down the stairs to the utility room. He opened up the front panel to the furnace and said almost immediately you need a new furnace I replied with are you sure you dont want to look way in there to see why Id need a new furnace he then replied with, if your furnace is leaking *** and gas, then its time for a new furnace. Not being a furnace expert like ***, I agreed to getting a new furnace. I started crying because I figured this would be a huge expense...which it is. He went out to his truck then came back and asked for my credit card. The furnace would cost $7,810.00. Roody ran my card then scheduled the install for the following day. At this point I called HWA (Home Warranty of America) with whom I had a home warranty policy with to explain that I had to have technicians come out right away to replace the furnace as it was an emergency kind of situation. Invoice attached to this email. Description on invoice was: Furnace: Job sold. Install set for 01/11. 8am to 11am Also the original invoice was for a Carrier model of furnace. They installed a Lenox model of furnace. The invoice had initials and a signature that was not mine and also was not Rudolphs. January 11: Four Seasons technicians came out to install the new furnace. I just let them do their thing. After they had put in the brand new furnace I asked them if they replaced the furnace filter. They said no. For some reason they had no filters...so I had to put the old dirty filter back into my brand new *** dollar furnace.A little later before the guys finished a third man showed up to take pictures...for some reason. He asked me if I had a fire extinguisher in the house. I said yes under the sink. He then asked me if he could take a picture of it. When I let him take the picture I asked him why he would need that and he kind of mumbled through his mask...whatever I thought, must be protocol. But I thought it was strange. They finally left. They had taken the old furnace and put it in their truck. I then called my HWA company again to explain the situation and asked what they needed to approve and process this claim...my policy states that I can get up to $5000 reimbursement for such a claim. HWA said that usually they have to come out and assess the furnace to determine if a new furnace is really necessary and if so theyd have their people do it (its a lower cost for them). But since it was an emergency situation, that wasnt possible. HWA said they needed an itemized invoice stating the diagnosis with reason the furnace had to be replaced. So I called 4Seasons. When I called 4Seasons I told them that my home warranty company requires an itemized description with reason the furnace needed to be replaced. They said they would call me back. They never did.A couple days later I called 4Seasons again. I told yet a different representative (they work as a team) that I required an itemized invoice for my home warranty. The rep told me that they are prepared to offer me a refund for the replacement of the part that they replaced on 12/14 (the ***). I said, okay thats fine Ill take that refund but I still need an itemized invoice for the furnace so I could submit it to my home warranty company. The rep then told me that in order to get me that refund Id need to sign a waiver and that he would send it to me via email. I then asked told this rep that I needed an explanation to some questions that I have about the day they put in the new furnace. I first asked why the invoice for the furnace install was not my initials or signature and why is the invoice for a carrier furnace when they installed a Lenox furnace? Second, why did a person come into my home and take photos of my fire extinguisher. Third, how does a furnace install van not have a new furnace filter to place into my new furnace that they just installed? The rep did admit that all of those concerns were unusual and said that he would get me explanations to these questions and call me back or have someone call me back. I did not ever hear back from anyone to address these concerns. When I went into my email I did find the waiver that the rep sent from 4Seasons. This was the waiver:I did not sign this waiver and knew right away something was definitely NOT RIGHT!January 24 Called 4 seasons and demanded to speak with a manager. They said they would have one called me. I yet again, told them the story and said that I expected no call back. ***The rep at this time told me that the technician was being investigated.January 25 A manager finally called me back. She said they are willing to send me an email to explain the service that was done so I could submit to my home warranty company but the do not itemize their jobs and there is no breakdown of charges. I explained that this is the first time Im hearing this (after explaining the story to 6 different representatives now) and here is what I need: a diagnosis of why I needed the furnace replaced and a paid in full invoice that lists the correct type of furnace I actually paid for preferably with MY initials and signature. Again, she said she would send me an email stating that I opted for a new furnace bc it was an emergency situation. I said NO...I did not have an option. *** the technician opened the front panel, barely looked inside and said you NEED a new furnace. When I asked well dont you want to see WHY its leaking and I was visibly upset, he said and I quote if you are getting *** and gas out of the exhaust it's probably the exchange which means you need a new furnace. Ive told them this every single time. I compared other 4 seasons invoices with the invoice *** gave me. There is no diagnosis. She said that she would go to the accountants office and email a paid in full invoice. She then said she would get back to me around 3pm tomorrow. I explained again that I sent them a list of what the warranty company needs multiple times...this is what the invoice needs to state. They can send this to me, they can send it to the *** etc. I just need the documentation so I can move forward with this claim in which the home warranty should cover because it is for this exact reason I purchased the warranty.January 26 I called this day and talked to a rep named ***. She got the accounting office to send an invoice but the date was wrong and all it says is the name of the new furnace with the amount that I paid. I told her AGAIN that I needed the invoice to have a diagnosis and to include whatever notes the technician needs to include that warrants me getting a brand new furnace installed. I also said that I would like a copy of his license. She said that she would contact accounting to make sure they can write the diagnosis or Rudys notes into the invoice and then send it back to me. She also said it would not be a problem to get a copy of his license.Feb 1, 2021 My email to Four ***'t attach but basically begging them for the technicians license to submit to the home warranty company. Feb 4, 2021 Letter was not sufficient. No real diagnosis and puts the blame on me, really. Nothing about technician notes and a technicians license was never sent.I sent this email:Feb 18,2021 Sent HWA everything that 4seasons would give me. I called them and we spoke, I called 4 seasons again and told them what I needed and I received this email from HWA I then called 4seasons again and demanded to talk to a manager. After a lot of holding and explaining the story yet again, the manager *** came to the phone. I told her the story, she was very rude. I told her that I would give them a terrible review and contact Complaintsboard.com, she said that wouldnt be a good idea b/c this is not their fault. I told her that I need WHAT WAS DONE and why when they replaced my furnace. She finally said that she would send me the contract (as if this wouldnt have been helpful before). She sent me this email with the contract attached I then sent HWA (home warranty company this email with the attached contract)Feb 26, 2021 I did not hear back from anybody. Not 4Seasons, not HWA. Finally called HWA and they were still processing my claim. They said they would only give me 1000$ b/c there is no real diagnosis and they didnt get to use their guys to replace my furnace. They then said they would only reimburse me 1000$ . to which I contacted ***. She is my realtor who actually purchased my home warranty. *** works for *** Properties and uses HWA regularly for her clients. She actually got a hold of her contact at HWA and they got me an additional 1000$ reimbursement. I dont know how exactly that happened. A week later I received a 2000$ check from HWA.SO WHAT DO I WANT?My home warranty states that HWA is obligated to pay for the replacement of my furnace limited to 5000$, but since 4Seasons refused to send me a diagnosis, any notes, etc...HWA would not honor the warranty as stated. I would like 4Seasons to reimburse me at least $3000.00 to make up for the 3K that HWA would not reimburse me for.

On May 10,2022, I called Four Seasons Heating and Air conditioning because my a/c didn't not start. The technician came out and said needed compressor or a new unit. I agree to get a new unit. He also told me it would be installed on May 11th but he wrote on job order May 19th. Also job order it stated Replace 2-pole circuit breaker. Finally they came out to install the new unit on May 15th around 9:00 am, around 1:00 pm they were looking at the electrical box and wiring, I asked what was wrong, one of technicians stated there was a defective part in the new unit it didn't start, But one technician start rewiring the outside and the other went to the breaker box He was on the phone calling out numbers. They never got the new unit started and told me a technician will come out to fix it. The technician came out around 6:00 and he went straight to the breker box inside. He told me he's going the store to but another 2-pole breaker, He installed the new one then when outside to check the new a/c. He told me the new a/c wasn't getting any electric and I needed an electrician to come out and check it out. May 16th the Four Seasons electrician came out. He finds the problem, the two prongs that clips on the 2-pole that holds the breaker in place were broken. The electrician tells me he's calling his boss but goes to his van to talk him, Electrician comes back and tells me he can rearrange the breaker box and close the slot where the prongs were broken. He rearrange the breaker box and blocks the broken slot so I no longer use that slot. After the box was fixed, The a/c started. I took a picture of the slot where the prongs were broken. The first technician had miss diagnosis, I needed an electrician for my breaker box and not a new compressor or a new unit

The repair was done on May 6. I wrote you a letter on April 25, 2022 regarding my complaint and I already contacted your office on Jan. 7, 2022 regarding this issue. Attached I am sending you a copy of my letter dated April 25, 2022.
On July 7th we had a fire in our AC system. On July 9, 2022, we had the sales representative come out to give us a quote for the installation of a new unit. It was determined that we needed to replace both the furnace and the AC. We agreed and explained to the sales representative that we would need an itemized bill due to having to submit it to the insurance company for reimbursement from the fire. The unit was installed on July 19, 2022 - two extremely professional gentlemen completed the work. We contacted the sales representative to send the itemized bill, and he sent a screenshot of his computer screen. We turned that into our adjuster, and he did not accept it as it didn't have a complete breakdown on company letterhead. Since July 20, 2022, I've been calling for an itemized invoice to submit to our insurance company and cannot get anything sent to me. A customer service representative called on July 29 and stated I would have it emailed from accounting by the end of the day. It was never received. I have called and left messages for customer service and have not had a call back.
I contacted Four Seasons to repair heating/cooling to 2nd floor since the force of the air was not enough to adequately heat/cool the 2nd floor
I contacted Four Seasons to repair heating/cooling to 2nd floor since the force of the air was not enough to adequately heat/cool the 2nd floor after numerous visits. The technician told me the furnace needed to be replaced, then another technician told me the *** unit and wiring needed to be replaced, then a 3rd technician told me the A-coil needed to be replaced. I spent ~$13000 with Four Seasons replacing the furnace, *** unit, A-coil, electrical wiring, freon lines, gas lines, and the heating/cooling is still not reaching the 2nd floor to adequately heat/cool the 2nd floor. A Four Seasons duct work technician was out to inspect the furnace and stated no matter what we do the air flow will not reach the 2nd floor with enough force to heat/cool the second floor due to the design of the duct work. The Four Seasons technician also stated the furnace will have to be moved to the 2nd floor to have enough air force to heat/cool the second floor and my original furnace and *** unit cannot be returned. There was no need to purchase a new *** unit and furnace. Four Seasons fraudulently told me to replace the entire unit to fix the heating/cooling problem and now that didn't work, Four Seasons is attempting to tell me I have to have the duct work repaired and furnace relocated to adequately heat/cool the 2nd floor. There was no reason for me to purchase a new *** unit, furnace, A-coil, etc. from Four Seasons and now Four Seasons is telling me the problem was related to duct work and furnace location. Four Seasons did not accurately assess and diagnose the air flow the problem before selling me new equipment and now Four Seasons wants to allege the issue is with the duct work. I have no confidence Four Seasons can improve the air flow to the 2nd floor and I want my funds returned as there is no way I can afford to have another company fix this problem now that I have invested $13000 with Four Seasons.

Had furnace and air conditioning unit installed may 13th, cost roughly 14,000$ unit was undersized. After 6 or 7 visits to the house due to new units not cooling home, it was determined units sold were undersized. When coil was removed from new furnace it was not 6 weeks old and definitely used from another furnace (have pictures) and was pooling water. Now new Air conditioner installed that same day is making loud buzzing noise. Company told us it could be an electrical issue or bad motor. Possibly being sold old parts packed in new units
Four H31353331363838H visited my home on Monday, 7/11, to repair an air conditioner that was emitting a squeaking sound. The technician evacuated the refrigerant from the unit, removed the doors of the air conditioner, and thoroughly cleaned it. Afterward, he entered the house to consult with his supervisor over the phone. Following the conversation, he informed me that the charge for the services rendered would be $600.00. Subsequently, he inspected the furnace and began to disassemble it. Although he reassembled the parts, he overlooked the fact that the filter was incorrectly inserted, which was the source of the squeaking noise. He instructed me to sign on the digital tablet, promising that I would receive a final statement. Three hours after the technician's departure, the air conditioner was still making noise, prompting me to contact the company for the final statement and to report the unresolved issue. On 7/18, a different technician was dispatched and identified the misaligned filter in the furnace as the culprit. FourH32353036323034H billed me $1,969.00 for the complete repair of my air conditioner and furnace. During the initial service, the first technician's cleaning process caused dirty water to backflow through my dishwasher. In light of these events, I am seeking a full refund for the entire service.

We had our *** last month as we do every year
We had our *** last month as we do every year. During the service the Tech told us we were down 1lb of Freon. We agreed to have the Freon added for a total of $335.00. After the service the humidity in our house went up 60-65%. This went on for several weeks and I called Four Seasons to report the problem. They sent another Tech out, he checked our AC but couldnt figure out what was causing the high humidity in our home, but he told us we were down a pound of Freon. Less than 30 days we need another pound of Freon. Now either there is a leak or the first Tech didnt put the Freon in. I refused to pay for another pound of Freon because it hadnt been 30 days. So Four Season put another pound in. No charge for the Freon but they did charge me to put it in, which I was not happy about. And I called and voiced my feelings to a manager. She promised to file my complaint. Since then the humidity in my house has remained high and two more Techs have been out. None of the Techs are knowledgeable and none of them are familiar with the Ecobee thermostat that Four Seasons sold us. They never even go to the thermostat, they ask me to turn it down so they can check the temperature. Plus they are asking me to purchase a repair package for $1400. So they can check for a leak. I have done business with Four Season for over 15 years and you can really tell the difference in the service. They use to call you afterwards to see if you were satisfied with their service, they no longer do that and I see why. My AC was fine until I had it serviced. I have natural wood floors throughout my house and Im concerned too much humidity might damage them, not to mention what else. Im afraid if they keep taking my AC apart pretty so its not going to work at all and then I will need to purchase a new one. We are retired senior citizens and that isnt something we have not budgeted for so it would be a hardship.

Got AC and Heat installed in May 2022, spend almost 9k for both. AC started to make screeching noises from day 1. Tech came and looked at it and said that normally can install a $600 module to get rid of the noise. Totally unprofessional and also installation itself was drawn out for a simple install on the first floor took 16 hr, tech was an inexperienced newbie.
I called 4 Seasons for a/c issue. Tech arrived and asked to check the furnace. He stated there was rust and a small crack. I reminded him that I had just had a 4 Seasons tech out for a tune up less than 3 months ago and he pointed the crack and said it was still safe. He immediately shuts it off. He stated to fix the furnace would be approximately $4000, and suggested I buy a new combo unit. I trusted his estimate for repairs and agreed, that I would buy a new one. Techs came and installed unit. Thermostat did not work so sent another tech the next day to replace. Thermostat replaced and for the next couple of days fine. Then the a/c stops. Another tech out and after a considerable amount of troubleshooting says it is still the thermostat. He offers to put the original thermostat on and when he does it doesn't work. The original tech never looked at the a/c and never checked the thermostat which is basic protool. Another tech which I asked not to be late and he was so I had to cancel. I have tried to call management, to no avail. I want my money refunded and for them to come and get their product and remove it. I can not get that scheduled through 4 Seasons.
On June 28th, a tech came to our home to maintenance our 5 year old units installed by Four Seasons. The tech was here for an hour, and said that there was nothing wrong, he claimed that he tightened a few loose wires, but the systems were in good working order. He charged $279 and said it was for parts and service call. A day later, our unit was still not running and we called customer service for a tech to come back out since money had been paid for units not working. It was 81 in our home and after a bit more explaining, the customer service line offered to send someone back out. The 2nd tech came and was here for about 40 minutes, and said he doesn't see anything wrong with the units, and recommended if the problem of the fan on the ac unit occurred again, that the Four Seasons have thermostats on the truck for $300 with install and that would be the next step. He also recommended getting tints on the picture window transom to relieve the light that comes in the home. He left, and the next morning on Saturday, we woke up to an 80 degree house again. Called customer service, we were told they can't do anything because the tech put in his notes that we refused the thermostat, which was inaccurate. Service was paid for and a problem was not fixed. A union *** came out Sunday and found the multiple problems that were causing the miscommunication from the ac unit to the thermostat. The biggest were the main communication wire was completely burned on install 5 years ago and all the high voltage wires were loose and able to be pulled right out. We just purchased a brand new water heater for one of our other properties from Four Seasons for $1800 the same week we had this issue at this property. Our furnace, water heater, and ac unit are all purchased and installed by Four Seasons in 2017.We have been loyal customers and at the first sight of an issue, they took money without resolution to the problem which ended up being because of the original install
I scheduled Four Seasons to come because my furnace was not working properly
I scheduled Four Seasons to come because my furnace was not working properly. The tech arrived and began to investigate my 5-year-old furnace. After several minutes, I suggested that I change the filter which I did with my new replacement filter (more on this later). This whole time, the tech had is *** monitor attached to the register to see if he would get a Carbon Monoxide reading. Toward the end of the service, he told me that the furnace was leaking *** and I needed to talk to his account executive about a replacement. Naturally, I believed him and asked if he could also check the upstairs furnace which he did and concluded that the other one was also leaking and needed to be replaced. Both furnaces are 2 years old. He got his account executive on the phone, encouraged me to negotiate a deal with him and used other comments such as "you have kids in the house...your home is spewing *** into the air". I ended up getting a quote for $14,000 for 2 new furnaces and an appointment fo the next day to install. Later that day I bought my own *** monitor and got no readings anywhere in the house. I did research on "signs of a *** leak in furnace" and didn't see any of the other signs. The tech also did not tell me why - when asked he said no way of knowing. I had four seasons send another tech 2 days later because the issue the first tech came out for wasn't actually fixed (it wasn't the filter even through he "guaranteed" that was the issue). The 2nd tech from Four Seasons did actually fix the issue - he also told me that here are no signs of *** per his reader, nor visible signs after inspecting the furnace. I can provide more information but all signs point to a SCAM. between the tech and the Sales person. these are 5 year old furnaces, the tech didn't even suggest that I talk to the original MFG for warranty issues - he said my option was to buy new from him. $14,000 for a false *** leak. There was intent from the beginning

We have a warranty on our furnace and A/C system that was purchased in 2011. I had our yearly cleaning scheduled for 5/17 and on 5/14 I called to schedule a service call as the unit was not cooling. I was told that there were no service appointments until 5/19 but they could add the service call to my cleaning appointment. The technician came and cleaned the A/C and at the end stated that there is a leak in the system and Ill need to pay $1500 for the leak repair package. I find this unacceptable since we have a warranty on parts and labor. There is clearly a part that failed and should be covered under the warranty. I have tried to contact the office on 3-4 occasions to get a response and have yet to hear back. The company is not honoring the warranty that was provided at the time of purchase. The repair should be at no charge as it is covered on the parts/labor warranty.
I have a thermostat which was installed by Four Seasons Heating and Cooling in 2013. On the front of the thermostat it clearly states, "This Thermostat is covered by a Lifetime Guarantee." The thermostat is not working. It cannot be programmed and it continues to give an error code. It will not cool a house that my 90 year old mother lives in. I called the company. They will not honor the guarantee. They say I had to have had it serviced every year by them in order for it to be honored. That was never stated when we purchased the furnace and system. I have serviced the units every year by a local company and I told them that. They now want to charge us $470 to replace a thermostat. And an additional $85 for a service call. I refused both and want the thermostat to be changed and fixed correctly per their 'lifetime guarantee'. I have pictures and am happy to substantiate my claims. This is clearly fraudulent.
I asked for this businesss services for a routine tune up
I asked for this businesss services for a routine tune up. What I got was a service call which turned into a sales pitch on why I should get a new furnace + a mediocre clean up. I let the rep in, he proceeded to putting the thermostat heat on *** I showed him into the *** proceeded to *** for the next 10 mins. He then called me saying that pieces in my furnace were giving off extreme heat & that I needed to at least replace the pieces for $2000 but he *** want to work on my furnace & pushed me to buy a $6700 brand new furnace so that he would feel comfortable working on it.I told him I have home warranty & that I will have to file a claim with them for this matter. He then changed demeanors and got upset, because that he wouldn't get money. He yelled at *** wife on the risk & fear mongering on what would happen if we *** buy a new furnace & acted as if my furnace was going to break. He gave us a charge higher than agreed and left. Never send report. Next day I contact the home warranty, they send a man who tests every component in the furnace for *** voltage & everything aside from 1 piece tests at a lower level. The piece replaced cost $122, not $2000. He test for carbon monoxide, no threat. He highlighted that structurally everything is fine & that it seems companies are increasingly refusing to work on older furnaces. He was not surprised to hear the tactics utilized & he simply recommended that I change furnace filters more frequently. So not only was the four seasons reps lying about piece replacement but he was not using any data to back the need for replacement & was simply saying I can tell you guys are first time home owners I can see the fear in your eyes in a condescending way. The person that came the next day said the four seasons rep did a pour job on cleaning. So not only did I pay for a sales pitch and to get yelled at, but the rep *** do the job required honestly. This should warrant a full refund.

We hired Four Seasons to install both a furnace and a humidifier in May 2022
We hired Four Seasons to install both a furnace and a humidifier in May 2022. They gave us a quote for $4380 that included both appliances(document attached), but their contract was deceiving- they applied a discount of $945 to the proposal, but they applied it only to the humidifier. Now they refer to the humidifier as a free accessory and allege they are not liable to deliver it anymore. We paid 100% of what was agreed on the contract, they installed the furnace but they failed to deliver the humidifier because, at the time of installation, the technician said it wouldnt fit the existing space. The salesperson failed to measure the existing space appropriately when he gave us the quote, so promising a humidifier that did not fit was a mistake on their end. In spite of that, they refused to refund us any money for not providing the humidifier and refused to find a humidifier that would fit the space. After multiple complaints and getting nowhere with the customer service, we contacted another provider who gave us a quote of $895 for a fan-operated humidifier, a smaller model that would fit in our space(document attached). We made Four Seasons aware of this alternative model but they refused to install it, alleging they dont work with those models. Instead, they gave us two options: (a) we pay them an additional $1593 to do some work in the air duct so that their model would fit, or (b) we do not get the humidifier and do not get any money back. We obviously have not proceeded with option a. We did not get the humidifier and did not get reimbursed by Four Seasons.By not delivering and installing the humidifier they promised, and still getting 100% of the money, Four Seasons is making a bigger profit at our expense. Applying discounts to appliances that you then dont provide, is a deceptive and unfair business practice. Businesses should apply discounts to make themselves competitive, not to elude the responsibility of delivering the goods promised.

In June , I purchased an HVAC unit from 4Seasons
In June , I purchased an HVAC unit from 4Seasons. The unit came with a 15year warranty on parts and labor. May13th my AC unit stopped working. I called 4Seasons and scheduled a tech to come out on May16th. I asked if this was covered under warranty and the response was yes. I also scheduled yearly maintenance during that call. On May16th a tech came out and said it may be a leak. It will be $1290 for the "leak package". I asked if there's any possibility a leak isn't the problem and is my $1290 guaranteeing my unit will be fixed. The tech said that it's possible it's the coil inside the until (not sure of the name) or possibly something else, which the $1290 doesn't cover. I asked why isn't that covered under warranty and the tech explained that I haven't had maintenance performed since May , so my warranty is void. I told him to not perform the work. I called Four Seasons customer service to get an explanation on my warranty and why this wasn't covered. First the rep told me that since I have maintenance scheduled, I can wait until the maintenance was complete, and then my system is under warranty. I questioned that and transferred me over to someone else. This person said I didn't have maintenance in the last 12 months, the warranty is void until I get maintenance. But since they already know there's an issue, my current issue isn't covered. I asked for the contract where is states maintenance is required every 12 months and getting maintenance performed will put the unit back under warranty. He said he'd email it, but I'm still waiting. He also stated the repair has to be done by 4Seasons or the warranty is void. I've had maintenance performed yearly each of the previous years except last, during the *** outbreak. If it's required, it should be called out during the sale. Not a small font contract (which I'm still waiting for). And I specifically asked about required maintenance at the time of purchase and was given the wrong information.

On 5/03/2022 I had Four Season Heating and Air Conditioning came in to do some maintenance on my furnace and was told that the furnace was way to old and unsafe. The technician mentioned that my A/C was only 11 years old and I can still have a couple years left on it. I agreed to have my furnace replaced on that same day and the installer came in later that afternoon and installed my new furnace. The installer attempted to sell me on a new A/C stating since it's already opened they can do it all at once and would provide a discount for the labor. I said I can't afford both this time since the total would come out to about $12000 and told them I was told I can still have a couple or so years on it. Furnace seemed to be installed and no problem running the heat. Forward to 5/10/2022, I need to run my A/C and come to find out my A/C would not start. I don't know if it's from the power so I turned the circuit breaker on and off and still wouldn't run. I contacted Four Season's again to come in the next day. Come to find out the breaker outside was unplugged. After he plugged it in A/C was running but was not cooling. He checked the refrigerant and stated it as bone dry. I asked him if the installer would have needed to work on my A/C while installing the furnace and said no. We both looked at my Ring Camera and the installers were the ones that unplugged the breaker and for some reason was working on my A/C. Refer to the documents uploaded on what the technician said, and supposedly stated the refrigerant was refilled back to full for no charge to the installers mistake. One month later, 6/17/2022 I had a different company come in and replace my A/C system entirely because I noticed the line was freezing. The new company stated, my refrigerant was almost all gone so either there's a massive leak or what Four Season stated that they filled the refrigerant back all 9lbs was not true. My AC was working before installation and now I had to replace all together.

Air Duct cleaning was completed yesterday on 10/21, appt scheduled for 10am-2pm
Air Duct cleaning was completed yesterday on 10/21, appt scheduled for 10am-2pm. I only agreed to this service because the employee who serviced my furnace earlier in the week was very nice and professional while explaining the importance of it, so I agreed as it made sense. Great consultation and basically it was one stop shop. For the furnace trip charge and air duct service package, I was charged $1012.00 paid in full. The employee arrived for the duck work and explained the required work which was nice of him as well as a walk through of my home and provided a thorough reason running the exhaust system from the outside to through the my m. bedroom window to the furnace and that he would have to cut the furnace, etc. and patch up afterwards. I agreed and he set up the equipment and move forward doing his job. I moved my breakables and covered main living room area with blankets, etc. to protect my furniture with dust or loose particles from the job which was ok. He was nice and efficient and I continued to work from home. Now comes the end of the job and he is moving his things outside the unit, I proceed to walk and check things out on both floors (I have two floors), he proceeds to race and show me the furnace and explains everything. I reviewed the rooms on the upper level and he went to the main level. I called him and he ignores me as which I don't understand because I yelled his name. He's walking to the door and I told him that he broke/ripped my screens as well as the knobs were missing. I told him that this was unacceptable and I couldn't believe his was going to leave without telling me that he damaged three screens. It was unethical and not professional. Then he proceeded to oh I'll fill out the paperwork and delayed with no apology. Then he said it was two screens not three. My unit is up for sale and the realtor had taken pictures and believe me, there were no torn sections or holes in the screens or parts missing. Just unethical 100%
I was a loyal Four Seasons customer and have been a customer with them for over 20 years
I was a loyal Four Seasons customer and have been a customer with them for over 20 years. On 04/29/22 technician *** from Four Seasons came to my home to conduct an A/C tune-up. *** stated 2 parts needed to be replaced, a condenser fan and some other part. Total cost for repair $1800. I told *** I wanted a written estimate of parts and labor because I was going to get a second opinion since the unit was operating fine. *** got defensive and said he has been in this business for 16 years and knows what he is doing. I told him thats fine but I am still getting a second opinion. I also said I would replace the unit before spending $1800. *** then had a sales person call me with a price on a new unit. Told the sales person to send a written estimate as I was not making a decision about repairing/replacing on that day.I called *** back and told him I am not replacing anything that day and that he should do the tune-up and leave a written estimate on parts and labor. *** left the job site without leaving the written estimate on parts and labor. Later that evening *** sent an invoice for the tune-up with a watered down version of what he said I needed to have done on the unit. Then he wrote that he left an estimate which he did not. I responded to the email again requesting a written estimate. He did not send it.I called another HVAC company out to my home to look at the unit. When we went to look at the unit we discovered that *** left the rear panel of the unit off with all the screws just laying there. According to the other HVAC company, the unit would absolutely fail when the weather got hot due to *** negligence.Very suspicious that Four Seasons will not give written estimates for work they claim I need. Then they dont put my unit back together properly, all but guaranteeing my A/C unit will fail. It is pretty hard to lose the business of a 20+ year loyal customer but they did. They used to be an outstanding company. Very disappointed!

Im very disappointed in this company "the integrity" of this company to be specific
Im very disappointed in this company "the integrity" of this company to be specific. I purchased a new furnace and new AC unit from this company, purchased the *** and got my ducts cleaned. Upon the young man showing me where he had to patch up the areas of my new furnace which was normal as he stated, I noticed dripping coming from this hose and air coming my new furnace. Per the invoice which states "Found refrigerant leak on suction line. Suction line was not replaced. Existing line is not copper. No way to braze. Install coming out on Monday 7/18/22 to replace suction line and charge system. Disconnect left off."Had the leak not occurred, I wouldn't have known that ALL Parts from my old furnace weren't changed. This part that was not changed has a value of $3000. I was livid! Two technicians and the supervisor did come out to complete the job correctly the following Monday BUT that still doesn't change the fact that I didn't get what I purchased initially and wasn't told that they were going to use my old suction line. When you spend that type of money you expect honestly and integrity. This part of the job that wasn't done initially took 3 hrs for them to do the following week. Thats a huge part that was NEGLECTED initially with out my notification. That wasn't a mistake. One of the other technicians that came out to access the situation stated "Are you sure we did this?" That made me inquire more about what wasn't done correctly. They attempted to offer me free cleaning of my unit which is not satisfactory to me. That makes me question, how many other customers has this been done to? I requested a refund for my *** and duct cleaning for the fraudulent activity and they keep denying it. I now want EVERYTHING uninstalled since they won't accommodate me for their lack of integrity, fraud (by not changing ALL parts, NOR NOTIFYING ME) and inconvenience. I also wasn't notified prior to installation that the *** bulb needs replacement every 2 yrs at $250

4/13/22 - routine maintenance heating/ac checkup scheduled for our townhouse (last checkup in oct 2021 and no problems reported.) was mostly calling to see if we should renew our home warranty for the upcoming year and wanted a second opinion. the first floor was also not receiving heat so we were hoping to get some solutions to that problem.the mechanic (felt more like a salesman) inspected the heater, and turned off the unit claiming "i can't even turn it back on" because of it's status and hazards to us. this felt a little extreme, especially given the fact the unit was inspected a few months ago. after hearing the price quotes, we then asked if we could have some time to think about it but he never really gave us time alone to talk or (preferably) a day to think about it. we ordered the installation right then and there because of his urgency and sales pressure.4/14/22 - new heater and a/c (which was not really diagnosed on 13th) were installed. no problems with the installers, however the first floor still does not receive any heat.4/19/22 - first call placed to 4 seasons, hoping to negotiate a better offer or uninstall the unit (after hearing *** experiences/prices). was told we'd be given some other financing options 4/21/22 - called again to discuss pricing. quotes dropped but still not reasonable. 4/22/22 - called to discuss pricing, nothing agreed upon 4/25/22 - 3 calls, because i was unable to reach dedicated rep/put on hold for too long once i got to the right person.4/26 - 3 calls similar situation, voicemail tag 4/27 - 7 calls similar situation 4/28 - same offer given, requested uninstall 4/29 - finally talked to an executive salesperson, telling me i have reached my 3 day period to do so most of these calls i made i expressed interest in uninstalling the unit, yet they always dodged the option and offered a less than adequate counter offer. we have never been given a copy of the contract or any email correspondence to review terms.

-on or about 5/26 received an estimate for furnace, air conditioning and duct cleaning -on 6/8 I signed a document for install and agreeing to pay once completed -air conditioning and furnace installed on 6/12, failed to clean the ducts stating they would contact us about scheduling the duct cleaning later.-was asked by *** (company financing payment) if the job was done and I authorized them to add the balance to my account. Green *** asked on 6/15, 6/16, 6/18, 6/20, 7/21, 8/19, and 10/8 if the job was done. The answer is still NO.-was told by Four Seasons in June when I called that someone would call me back. Did not receive a phone call. It is NOT my responsibility to make sure they call, once they promise a call back the responsibility is on Four Seasons.-called a couple more times asking the same questions, was told 2-3 times someone would call me back. On 10/7, I received a voicemail from Four Seasons about my "past due balance." I called them and stated that if the next phone call I received was from them or a collection company about my "past due balance" that I would be extremely upset.-Today, 11/5 have not received a call back from Four Seasons. I spoke with a representative today who said my balance is $7800, but did not include the duct cleaning. I advised the rep that the salesman told me that free duct cleaning was a promotion. She said that this would be ironed out and I would receive a phone call as soon as she spoke with the sales manager that gave me the estimate.-shortly thereafter the sales rep texted me the following: "***, we need you to approve the funding for the loan of the hvac system asap otherwise accounting will send you to collections. I understand there is confusion on duct cleaning. I did not include this at no charge. You must have our proposal confused with another. If you can find a Four Seasons Contract with duct cleaning free, please forward to me."-to me, this is a threat

On 07/30/2022, I agreed with Four Seasons Heating & A/C for a new furnace & A/C cleaning at $13,499.
On 07/30/2022, I agreed with Four Seasons Heating & A/C for a new furnace & A/C cleaning at $13,499. The job was to start on 08/01/2022. I advised the salesperson to check the pressure lines before installation due to my neighbor's issues with similar lines running under the concrete floor of my slab home. I reiterated this to the technicians who began the work. When they damaged the humidifier while transferring it to the new furnace, I requested a new one. They quoted $1200, which I challenged due to the retail price being around $200. I offered to purchase it myself for them to install, but they declined. Eventually, I bought a new humidifier, and they installed it as per our original agreement. They were also to transfer the air purification system from the old furnace, as stipulated in the sale. Upon detecting a leak in the lines after two service calls, I sought a repair estimate. Four days later, they quoted nearly $4000, excluding drywall and paint restoration. I found a more affordable alternative for the line replacement. Now, I insist the A/C function properly without further costs, or I will invoke Four Seasons' two-year full satisfaction money-back guarantee, which they are currently denying. Despite two office visits and discussions with a Mr. who withheld his last name, the issue remains unresolved. As a senior who has undergone heart surgery, along with another elderly individual, reliable A/C is crucial for our health. I am seeking a prompt resolution.

When the technician arrived, I was on a conference call
When the technician arrived, I was on a conference call at my dining room table and stepped away to speak with him. His comments about my toenail polish made me extremely uncomfortable as I was a small woman alone at home. He inspected my unit and inquired when my call would end, suggesting I follow him to the basement to see the problem. With my husband away and unable to arrive quickly, I ended my call and dialed a relative to listen in, feeling uneasy around the technician. He stated the issue wouldn't be covered by my home warranty but offered an immediate fix, insisting I hang up and join him downstairs. Uncomfortable with both propositions, I declined and asked for a written explanation or verbal summary instead. His irritation grew as he pressed for me to disconnect and accompany him to the basement. I refused, opting to address the matter later, and requested he leave. He became upset, lingered in the basement for an extended period, and upon emerging, demanded an $85 payment. I contested, citing a previous waiver from the company. His anger escalated, and he refused to exit my home. I opened the door, suggesting he contact his manager outside, but he stood firm. Distressed, I called the police. Customer Service assured me the situation would be managed, yet I later received an $85 invoice for 'unit cleaning,' a service he never mentioned during his visit.

Four Seasons Heating and Air Conditioning, installed a ductless heat pump in our second floor apartment. They arrived on-time, wore coverings over their shoes as they worked. Despite the cold and heavy rain outside, they worked quickly and efficiently to ensure a smooth installation. Four Seasons conducted themselves professionally, were courteous, polite, and cleaned up before they left, taking all the packaging materials, nylon straps, and pallet with them. They worked well together and answered my questions in easily understandable terms.
Prompt. Professional. Same day service. Project done well. Good job.
Received excellent service from this company. This is the 2nd time I've had them do work for me and couldn't have asked for more. Would give them 10 stars if I could. Plan to use them again in the near future.
Furnace broke down on Friday and on Saturday had a new furnace installed. They were very professional and any question that we had they answered. I appreciated that they came so quickly especially since its still winter. Thank you so much for all there help.
