Freshly changed my life for the better!
I tried other companies like Freshly before that were more costly per week and the quality and portion size that Freshly gives you is unmatched. I love that there is an application for the service and I can conveniently rate meals and change my order for the coming weeks. When you need help with something or have a question the Freshly team is always happy to help in the chat forum on the application, they get back to you in a timely manner as well. The reason I choose Freshly is because I have Celiac disease and all of their meals are certified gluten free. This takes the hassle out of cooking and worrying about cross contamination. The only set back I have found from Freshly is that the maximum meals per peek is 12 and I wish I could get 14. I understand why 12 would be an ideal amount of meals for some people, IE a cheat meal, eating out, or one home cooked meal but I just love Freshly so much that I would love to eat it 7 days a week! This service has increased the quality of my life and I am confident that I am giving my body the healthy food that it has always deserved. Thank you!
Freshly Review
Freshly has made my life so much easier! No more stopping at a fast-food place to pick up an unhealthy dinner on the way home from work - now I have food ready and waiting for me when I get home. I have great and tasty options to choose from (I like flavorful food) - it only takes 3 min - and no dishes! This is ideal for a single on-the-go person!
The online ordering process is easy and simple. Hardest part is to remember to update my order by Friday evening, but even if I forget I still receive 6 fresh meals. There are a good variety of protein choices - chicken, beef, pork. (would like more seafood options though)
Another benefit is the pricing - Freshly is very economical. Not only are the meals cheaper than many take-out options, but because the portions are adequate, I snack less in the evening.
Delivery and packaging are great. Parcels are delivered right to my doorstep and the food stays cold due to the gel packs.
One more benefit - Freshly deliveries has really made the COVID-19 stay at home situation easier for me. I do not have to go out to the supermarket or restaurants often at all. It has really been convenient.
Thank you so much!
Great compromise of taste and health!
Keep in mind that this review is coming from a guy who inhales double "Baconators" and double "Bacon Kings" all the time. I generally detest health food because of bad taste or lack of flavor. Vegetables have never been attractive to me. That said, I'm thrilled to have Freshly now! Their chefs are wizards that season the dishes very well while keeping carbs and salt low. I like some meals more than others but I haven't had one yet that I couldn't eat in its entirety. Even the veggies are delicious. Overall, I'm super impressed by what they're able to achieve. Unless you've got serious culinary skills, you could spend hours destroying your whole kitchen and your food still won't be as healthy. Only knocks I have are the delivery days aren't set-in-stone and that makes having two subscriptions difficult to manage. Also, portions are a little small as I'm a big guy. 500-600 calories might be enough for small people but might I suggest "Freshly XL" with 800-1000cal portions. I'd pay a couple more dollars per meal to not have to seek out less-healthy snacks to supplement. Still, it's outstanding food, it's FRESH, it's REAL, and you can pronounce every ingredient. Oh and by the way, the convenience cannot be beaten even by fast food or delivery. It's like your fridge is full of delicious leftovers.

I rated this a 5 star based on the customer service for Freshly As far as the food deliveries and cost I would have to rate a 2 star
I have ordered freshly for several months. At first it seemed like the meal were Ok. One by one I became tired of the same meals as I did not have a taste for all their meals. I tried maybe 15 different plates. It became monotonous very quick when I looked at that A+ packaging that had to cost a good amount just to see it wasted. That is definitely a resource that should be recycled. The meals at $10 each started adding up when I can get take out from my favorite restaurants and eat as many portions and more for less money. A lot of places have family meals specials that I buy for myself. There is a much larger selection on take out these days and if ordering correctly I can have good meals around $5 to $6 compared to limited $10. Now the deliveries are when they can get it to you. So you end up doing take out to make up for the days they didn't get you food. Now you weekly food bill went up even higher on the account that freshly couldn't deliver. I understand the situation the company is in. I think the price definitely can go down as much of that price has to be in packaging. I don't know what the answer is for the company I am just reviewing as a consumer not angry just not worth the price per meals.
Freshly Review: Poor Customer Service and Failed Delivery
Me and my wife were really excited to try Freshly for our meals. We signed up for a 12 meal plan last week and were supposed to receive our first order on Friday. However, we were really disappointed when we didn't receive our package on Friday. We received an email on Tuesday that our order had shipped and even got a UPS tracking number. But when we checked the tracking number, it turned out to be a scam and the package was never given to UPS.
We tried to call Freshly customer service to inquire about the delivery status, but we were lied to about the package being with UPS. We have an account with UPS and can tell when anything will be delivered to our address. But there was nothing in the system. We asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, but we were told that none were available and that someone would call us back. However, we never received any calls.
We called the customer service representative again on Saturday and asked to speak to a supervisor. But we were given the same song and dance and were told that someone would call us back. Later in the afternoon, we did receive an email saying that someone had tried to call us. But we were home all day and there were no calls on our caller ID. We were lied to again!
We were promised a refund, but we will wait and see if that happens. We are not sure if the meals are good or not because we did not receive them. The Freshly processing plant in Maryland is less than 2 hours drive from our major city, so delivery should not be a problem.
The customer service was really poor and almost non-existent. The representatives were less than honest and refused to provide any contact information. They tried to blame UPS for the problem, but they could not provide any tracking information. It was obvious that our order was not shipped. We are really disappointed with our experience with Freshly and would not recommend it to anyone.
Freshly.com: A Game-Changer for Meal Delivery - My Review
Ordering meals from Freshly.com is the best decision I ever made when it comes to having food delivered to my doorstep. I was tired of cooking and wanted to try something new. I was hoping the meals I selected would be good, but they were even better than I expected. The meals were not only delicious but also nutritious, which is a big plus for me. I love the fact that I don't have to cook when I don't feel like it. It's a real time-saver!
My 88-year-old mother tried "meals on wheels" and found them tolerable. I thought why not order Freshly meals for her? So, I convinced her to give them a try. She is waiting for her first delivery to arrive sometime today, and I will provide a review for her stating exactly what she thinks (she does not have a computer, so I will be her sounding board).
My mother is a woman who still cooks delicious meals, but she complains that she just does not have the energy she used to have. Sometimes she gets a little confused about how much of something she has added, and she no longer has the strength to safely lift heavy pots and pans. All of this frustrates her, and I worry about her cooking. I especially worry about her lifting something hot off the stove, dropping it, and burning herself. So, my fingers are crossed that she will like the meals or maybe "love" them as much as I do and enjoy the freedom of not having to prepare meals each and every night!
Freshly Meal Delivery Service Review: Not as Fresh as Advertised, Limited Options, and Poor Customer Service
Me and my partner were on the hunt for a meal delivery service that was healthy and had some good food options. We found Freshly and thought we would give it a go. We both picked out a few meals that we wanted to try for the first week. Most of the options were pretty tasty, but we didn't feel like they were as fresh as they were advertised to be. Some of the meals had a gritty taste and many of them didn't heat up evenly in the microwave, even when we followed the recommended time on the cardboard sleeve. Honestly, we think they would be better if we had the option to cook them in the oven. As it stands, the meal selection is basically just hyped up TV dinners.
Moving on to the second week, we somehow missed the email reminder to choose our meals. So what did Freshly do? They charged our debit card and ordered for us. If they were going to do this, the least they could have done was send us a new and different selection of meals. Did they do this? Nope! They sent us the exact same meals that we had last week. Who wants to eat the same thing every week? Not us! For this reason, and the reasons stated in our review, we have decided to cancel Freshly and will not be using them again in the future. Instead, we will find a service that better suits our needs and what we are looking for.
Mixed Customer Service Experience: Disappointing Jordan, Grateful Nikki
So, I had a bit of a problem with Freshly. I tried to use a promo code on two orders, but it didn't work even though it showed up as active on my account. I talked to this guy named Jordan, and he made me wait forever before telling me that I wasn't eligible for the code. But that didn't make any sense because Freshly sent me the code in an email as a comeback offer. So, why would they send it to me if I couldn't use it? And then, Jordan just disappeared in the middle of our conversation! I was so frustrated and disappointed. It was the worst customer service experience I've ever had.
But then, I reached out again and got connected with Nikki. She looked at my conversation with Jordan and figured out what went wrong. She even gave me credit for the previous weeks based on the promo and helped me make sure I could use it on future orders. And she did all of this way faster than Jordan did anything! I went from being super mad and canceling my subscription to feeling grateful for Nikki's help.
Honestly, Freshly needs to get rid of Jordan or give him some more training. And they should definitely give Nikki a raise or a promotion because she saved my subscription.
Freshly Review: Delicious, Healthy Meals with Top-Notch Customer Service
I never thought I'd be the type to order pre-made meals, but after eating the same boring food every day, I decided to give Freshly a try. I did my research and read reviews on multiple sites before finally taking the plunge. Let me tell you, this service did not disappoint!
The meals are a healthier option than fast food or food trucks, and a nice change from the typical brown bag lunch. The portions are large, the packaging is clear and easy to read, and the microwave instructions are a breeze to follow. I especially love the nutritional information provided, as I have medical issues that require me to monitor my sodium intake. While some people may find the sodium content to be on the high side, it's a huge bonus for me personally.
I've had a few meals that I didn't care for, but the majority have been absolutely delicious. And when I received the wrong shipment, Freshly's customer service was top-notch. I emailed them about the issue and within five minutes, they contacted me back and provided a full refund without even asking for it. They even let me keep the meals!
I've also had a couple of meals with expired use-by dates, but when I rated them as "expired could not eat," Freshly reached out to me a few weeks later to make things right. They gave me another full refund without me even having to ask. The level of customer service is truly superb.
Overall, I would give Freshly 5 stars for excellence. The meals are delicious, the price is highly competitive, and the customer service is outstanding. Freshly is doing everything right from start to finish. I highly recommend giving them a try!
Mixed Experience with Freshly: Great Customer Service, but Inconsistent Meal Choices
My experience with Freshly has been pretty good so far. I gotta say, August was a real MVP when it came to solving my problem. They really knew their stuff and helped me out in a jiffy. But there's one thing that's been bugging me lately - Freshly keeps changing my meal choices! Like, what's the point of letting me choose in advance if it's just gonna get switched up on me?
So, I had my meals all picked out for September 16th before I went on a trip. But when I got back, I saw that Freshly had gone ahead and confirmed a different menu for me! And they didn't even bother to tell me until it was too late. When I reached out to customer support, August told me that it's my responsibility to manage my subscription closely. But come on, I was only gone for one day! If Freshly is gonna change my menu, they should at least let me know that my choices are just a wishlist until I confirm them on Friday or Saturday.
Honestly, it's kinda frustrating. I thought I could trust Freshly to stick to the meals I picked out, but now I know better. I guess I'll just have to make sure I'm always connected to the internet on Fridays and Saturdays so I can confirm my menu choices. But overall, I still like Freshly and I've recommended it to my friends and neighbors.
Freshly's New Packaging: A Step Backwards for Sustainability and Convenience
I gotta say, I'm pretty ticked off about the changes to the packaging for Freshly meals. It used to be so simple and easy to recycle, but now it's like they're trying to make it as difficult as possible. The new packaging is all plasticky and covered in unnecessary images and printing. It's like they're trying to distract you from the fact that the food inside isn't as good as it used to be. And don't even get me started on those flimsy white plastic trays. They're a total mess, especially with the saucier meals. And they have the nerve to put "go green" on the bottom? Give me a break.
But I will say this - the customer service guy I talked to, Pheter, was really nice and seemed genuinely concerned about my complaints. He promised to fix everything, so I'm willing to give them another chance. But seriously, Freshly, just give us good food in simple packaging. We don't need all the bells and whistles.
Convenient and Healthy Meal Delivery: My Review of Freshly
Freshly is a great meal delivery service that I recently tried out. I was really impressed with the quality of the food and the convenience of having it delivered right to my door. The meals are all pre-made and just need to be heated up, which makes them perfect for busy people who don't have a lot of time to cook.
One thing I really appreciated about Freshly is that they use all-natural ingredients and don't include any artificial preservatives or additives. This is important to me because I try to eat as healthily as possible. The meals are also portion-controlled, which helps me to avoid overeating.
I tried a variety of different meals from Freshly and they were all really delicious. Some of my favorites included the chicken tikka masala, the steak peppercorn, and the turkey meatballs. The portions were all generous and I never felt like I was hungry after eating one of the meals.
The ordering process was really easy and I was able to choose the meals I wanted for the week ahead of time. The delivery was also very reliable and the meals arrived on time and in good condition.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Freshly to anyone who is looking for a convenient and healthy meal delivery service. The food is delicious, the ingredients are all-natural, and the portions are just right. It's a great option for busy people who want to eat well without spending a lot of time in the kitchen.
Misleading Portions and Bland Meals: My Experience with Freshly Subscription Service
I wasn't planning on writing a review, but after seeing another misleading commercial, I had to speak up. The portions shown on TV are nearly twice the size of what is actually delivered, and it's not right. It's unethical, and someone should look into it. I signed up for Freshly during the COVID crisis to avoid going out shopping. I went for a weekly 12-meal plan, but it was a mistake. I didn't realize it was a subscription service, and 12 meals per week for a single person is a lot. I don't consider dinner as lunch, so I had to skip a week or two at a time. My refrigerator space became premium. Despite trying to order fewer than 12 meals, I received a notice that I had to order the full twelve to receive a "savings." There seemed to be no option to opt-out of my original delivery plan. Also, the meals were mostly bland, and I tried to switch to some of the newer suggested options, but that didn't work either. I ended up with six turkey and white bean chili bowls, which I didn't like. The portions were small and inconsistently sized, and most of them were under-seasoned. I had to add my own spices and seasonings to make them palatable. Also, there was too much reliance on rice as a staple, which isn't good for those who are pre-/diabetic. On the positive side, the delivery system was great, and the boxes were left in my specified location. I only had two deliveries that were delayed by one day, and the ice packs were still effective. I received a coupon for the next order, and the packaging was thoughtful and environmentally conscious. Finally, out of sheer frustration, I cancelled my subscription.
Freshly Website Review: A Total Nightmare for Setting Up Accounts and Redeeming Gift Certificates
Man, let me tell you, I wasted a whole 40 minutes of my life on that Freshly website - it's a total mess. My folks are getting up there in age, so we thought it would be a good idea to set them up with some meals from Freshly. We bought them a 4-week gift package, but the process of setting up their account was a total nightmare. First, we had to purchase the gift before we could even set up the account. Then, we had to call customer service to figure out how to apply the gift to the account. It took us a whole hour just to get that sorted out.
But that's not even the worst part. After the first week of meals went smoothly, we decided to buy 3 more gift certificates to add to their account. We got the gift codes no problem, but when we tried to redeem them on the website, it was a disaster. We clicked on the "Redeem Gift" button and filled out all the fields, but a few days later, we got charged for the meals on our credit card. What the heck?! We had to call customer service again and go through a whole rigmarole of verifying all our information just to find out that the gift certificates hadn't been applied.
Long story short, we eventually got our money refunded and the gift certificates applied, but it was a huge headache. And to top it off, our folks didn't even like the meals that much, so we're probably going to cancel the account once the gift certificates run out.
The customer service reps were polite and helpful, but you could tell they were just following a script. And let's not even get started on how long it takes for them to refund your money - a whole week to ten days! It's ridiculous.
Freshly really needs to take a hard look at their website and fix the functionality. It's a mess, plain and simple.
Freshly Complaints 20
Poor customer service, Meals NOT delivered
My wife and I THOUGHT that Freshly would be a nice choice for meals. Signed up for 12 meal plan last week, was supposed to receive our first order on Friday. On Tuesday, received email that order had shipped, along with a UPS tracking #. Turns out tracking # was scam- package NEVER given to UPS. Friday comes- NO package. Tried to call Freshly customer service- was LIED to about delivery status- told that UPS had the package, but I have account w/UPS and can tell when ANYTHING will be delivered to our address. Nothing in system. Asked to speak to a supervisor/manager, told that none available, but one would call us back. NO calls received.
Called CSR again on Saturday, asked to speak to supervisor, given SAME song and dance- one would call back. Did receive an email later in afternoon, saying someone had "tried" to call- but no calls on caller ID, we were home all day. Again, LIED to!
Did receive a "promise" that we would receive refund- will wait and see if that happens.
Not sure if meals are good or not - did not receive. Maryland processing plant for Freshly is less than 2 hours drive, and we live in major city, so delivery should NOT be a problem.
Poor/non existent customer service. Less than honest. CSRs refuse to provide contact info. They tried to blame UPS as problem, but could not provide tracking info. Order obviously NOT shipped!
Our own opinion and a bit of a disappointment
We had been searching for a meal delivery service that was relatively healthily and had some good options in regards to food. We stumbled upon Freshly and decided to give it a try. My other half and I each picked out several meals that we wanted to try for the first week. Most of the options were fairly tasty; but, having said that, we didn't feel as if they were as fresh tasting as they were touted to be. Some of the selections had a somewhat gritty taste and many of them didn't heat up evenly in the microwave based on the recommended time on the cardboard sleeve. Honestly, I think they may be better if you had the option to cook them in the oven. They way the meal selection stands now, they are basically hyped up TV dinners. Now on to the second week. Somehow, we missed the email reminder that it was time to choose our selections for this week. So... what did Freshly do? They charged our debit card and ordered for us. If they were going to do this, the least they could have done was sent us a new and different selection of meals. Did they do this? Nope! They sent us the exact same things that we had last week. Seriously? Who wants to eat the same things every week? We certainly don't and for this reason and the reasons stated in our review, we have decided to cancel Freshly and will not be using them again in the future. Instead, we will move on to a service that better suits our needs and what we are looking for.
Mixed Experience with Freshly Meal Delivery: Delicious Food, Inflexible Delivery Schedule
I gotta say, I was pretty excited to try out Freshly. I mean, who doesn't love the idea of having healthy, pre-made meals delivered right to your doorstep? And let me tell you, the food was delicious! I was really impressed with the quality and taste of everything I tried.
But here's the thing - I'm not home most weekends. And unfortunately, Freshly delivers on Saturdays. So by the time I got home on Sunday, my meals were all melted and gross. I had to throw them away, which was a total bummer.
I decided to give Freshly a call and see if they could switch my delivery day to Monday instead. The woman I spoke with was really nice and said they could make the change starting on a certain date. But for some reason, they kept delivering on Saturdays even after that date had passed. I ended up having to toss two more deliveries before I finally had enough and cancelled my subscription.
To make matters worse, when I reached out to Freshly to explain why I was cancelling and suggest a solution, they just went ahead and cancelled me without really trying to work things out. It was pretty frustrating.
So my advice to anyone considering Freshly is this: if you're not going to be home on weekends, it's probably not the best option for you. They don't seem to be very flexible when it comes to delivery dates, and it's not worth wasting your money on food you can't even eat. But if you are going to be home and want some tasty, healthy meals without having to cook, give Freshly a try - just be prepared to stick to their delivery schedule.

Freshly Review: Terrible Customer Service, Sneaky Practices, and a Ripoff
I gotta tell ya, I bought a big ol' gift card from Freshly for my dear old mom, who was laid up at home after a long hospital stay in July 2022. She was all excited to sign up for their meal delivery service, but when she tried to use the gift card, they made her put in her own credit card number too! What kind of nonsense is that? They said it was for "registration purposes," but it just seems like a sneaky way to get her credit card info.
Anyway, she finally got her first order and guess what? They charged her credit card instead of using the gift card funds! What a ripoff! When she called to complain, they told her she didn't place the order right. What kind of excuse is that? And to top it off, they wouldn't even refund her card and use the gift card like they were supposed to. What a bunch of jerks!
Needless to say, my mom cancelled her account and we're giving the gift card to a food bank (if they'll even take it). It's just not worth dealing with these clowns. Their customer service reps are useless and a total waste of money. I wouldn't recommend Freshly to anyone.
Freshly Review: Terrible Company with Poor Customer Service and Unfair Practices
This company is just terrible. I'm not one to complain, but seriously, how would you all know that? Anyway, I was buying meals for my 92 year old mother and it just didn't work out for her. The meals were decent, but not great. Then I got an email from Freshly telling me to download their app. So I did, thinking it might make things easier. But little did I know, because of me downloading their app, my next order was doubled. Can you believe it? So now I have a credit of $78.00 that I can't seem to use. I've been trying to get this sorted out for weeks, but Freshly just won't budge. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. And to make matters worse, they have no problem taking money out of my credit card, but when it comes to putting it back in, suddenly it's impossible. I'm so angry right now. This is not how a reputable company should behave. I would strongly advise against doing business with Freshly. There are plenty of other places to buy your food from. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Mixed Experience with Freshly Meal Delivery Service: A Review
I've been using Freshly for about 4 months now and I gotta say, I was pretty impressed at first. The portions were just right and the taste was pretty good too. But then, on July 4th, I had my first failed delivery. I got an email that night saying they were gonna refund me and give me a $20 credit, but I didn't think much of it since it was a holiday and all.
But then things started to go downhill. The portions started getting smaller, I got a meal I didn't even order, and one time my box got delivered to my neighbor's house! Luckily I caught it and brought it back, but still, not cool. And then, to top it all off, I had 2 more failed deliveries in a row. That left me scrambling to meal prep and it was a real pain in the butt. Plus, here in Denver, they only offer 1 delivery day per week, so not getting my meals as expected was really annoying.
And to make matters worse, when the delivery finally did show up, it was a day late and the company told me to just dispose of it. What a waste! After all that, I decided to cancel my subscription. The customer service was pretty responsive, but what good are credits if they never deliver? All in all, I'd say Freshly was a decent service at first, but it just wasn't worth the hassle in the end.
Mixed Feelings on Freshly: Convenient but Careless with Orders
So, I just got my 5th Freshly order today and guess what? For the 2nd time in the last 4 weeks, the order was wrong. I mean, seriously, what's going on here? This time, they messed up 3 out of the 6 meals. I can understand a simple picking mistake maybe once, but when it happens again and again, it's just plain careless. And to top it off, I can't even eat 2 of the meals I got today because of my food allergies. Come on, Freshly, get your act together!
But I have to give credit where credit is due. The customer service is still pretty efficient. I guess they have to be, since it seems like folks can expect errors more often than they would like. Claidia was able to help me in just a few minutes and they offered me a full refund. They also said my issue was going to be sent to a resolution team to review. When I asked if there are people to double check orders, I was assured there were, but it's hard to believe that when there is more than one error in multiple orders now.
Now, let's talk about the food. It's pretty good overall. I mean, I wouldn't say it's the best thing I've ever tasted, but it's definitely not bad. And the convenience of having pre-made meals delivered right to my door is a huge plus. But buyer beware, based on my experience, you are bound to run into an issue. If you like surprises though, then you should have no problems with the Freshly program!
All in all, I'm still on the fence about whether or not I'll continue with Freshly. The convenience is great, but the errors are just too much to handle. I'll give them one more chance, but if they mess up again, I'm done.
Disappointing Experience with Freshly Meal Delivery Service: A Review
I gave Freshly a try last September because I wanted to have some easy options for healthy foods in single portions. I decided to sign up for the 12 meal plan because it was the most economical, even though it was still around $9 per meal. I was excited to pick a range of meals from the expansive online menu. However, I had to wait about 10 days for the first delivery in order to snag a Sunday.
When the food arrived, it was on time, but it came in a ridiculously large, heavy box that I had to lug up 4 floors into my walkup apartment. I promptly unpacked it because it took up so much space and was leaking, and dragged the bag out to the trash.
From the first meal through the last, the food was thoroughly disappointing. Everything was salty and had a strange, acrid flavor to it. Some of the meat was okay, particularly the steak pecorino, but the rest of it was about the quality and consistency of a microwave meal. The vegetables and sides, mostly grains, were limp, soggy, and the portions were sparse.
I forced myself to finish all 12 meals to justify the money that I had spent, but I promptly cancelled my subscription. I was really disappointed with the quality of the food and the overall experience. I was hoping for easy, healthy meals that tasted good, but unfortunately, Freshly did not deliver. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient meal delivery service.
Freshly Meal Delivery Service: Disappointing Customer Service and Unreliable Delivery
I recently signed up for Freshly, a meal delivery service that promises to deliver fresh and healthy meals right to your doorstep. I opted for the weekly delivery on Mondays, as my 85-year-old father relies on these meals since he is unable to drive or walk much. However, to my disappointment, the meals did not arrive on Monday as promised.
I immediately called Freshly the following morning to inquire about the delay, and was told that the meals were still coming and would arrive by the end of Tuesday. But once again, there were no meals delivered. Frustrated, I called AGAIN on Wednesday morning to follow up. This time, I spoke with Andrea from customer service, who informed me that my father's next meal delivery was scheduled to arrive 12 days after the original delivery date, which meant that his last meal delivery would be almost 3 weeks apart (19 days)!
I was extremely disappointed with Freshly's lack of accountability and customer service. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a top priority for this company. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake and sending out meals immediately after my first phone call, they chose to punish an 85-year-old man who relies on their service for his daily sustenance.
To make matters worse, Freshly's customer service was unhelpful and unresponsive. When I called, I was put on hold for long periods of time and had to deal with unhelpful representatives who seemed more interested in getting me off the phone than resolving my issue.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with Freshly and would not recommend their service to anyone. If you are looking for a reliable meal delivery service that puts customer satisfaction first, look elsewhere. Freshly has no business being in business if they cannot prioritize their clients and provide the service they promise.
Freshly Meal Plan Review: Convenient and Tasty, but Repetitive Flavors and Bulky Packaging
I've been chowing down on Freshly's 6 meal per week plan for a couple of weeks now and I gotta say, it's been a pretty smooth ride. The website is easy to use, the food options are presented in a clear and concise way, and they even give you a heads up via email before your order arrives so you can make any last minute changes. The only downside is that the packaging is a bit bulky - the food comes in a cardboard box with three big ol' ice packs and some padding. I live in a cramped condo with no extra storage space, so it's been a bit of a hassle finding a spot for it all. But hey, at least it's recyclable!
When it comes to the food itself, I gotta give it to Freshly - they really know how to cook up some high quality grub. Everything was cooked to perfection, not too dry or overcooked. However, I did notice that all the meals had a similar taste to them. There was some kind of mystery flavor or ingredient that was present in all the dishes except for one. It left a bit of an aftertaste that lingered long after I finished eating. I really wanted to love Freshly, especially since it's so convenient and affordable, but after trying all the meals in week 1, I found myself struggling to finish the week 2 meals.
Overall, I'd say Freshly is a solid option for anyone looking for a quick and easy meal plan. Just be aware that the packaging can be a bit of a hassle and the flavors might get a bit repetitive after a while. But hey, at least you won't have to worry about cooking or cleaning up after yourself!
Disappointing Experience with Freshly Meal Delivery Service: A Review
I gotta say, I was really hoping Freshly would be the answer to my prayers. I'm trying to get my health in check and cut out all the junk food, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I wasn't expecting gourmet meals or anything, just something to help me stay on track. But man, was I disappointed.
I don't know if it's just me or what, but the food was just plain awful. I read some reviews beforehand that said the food was bland, but I didn't really care about that since I was more focused on portion control. But let me tell you, it wasn't just bland - it was downright nasty. And I'm not even a picky eater! I eat oatmeal with nothing added to it multiple times a week, so I'm not exactly a food snob.
I don't know if it's the way they freeze the food or if my chef was just screwing up the recipes, but something was seriously off. And it's not like this is the first meal delivery service I've tried - it's actually the third. So I know what I'm talking about when I say this was bad.
Anyway, I cancelled my subscription and I'm gonna try one of those meal kit delivery services where I actually cook the food myself. Hopefully that'll be better. But in the meantime, I just wanted to share my experience so other people don't waste their money like I did.
Disappointing Experience with Freshly: A Review of the Meal Delivery Service
I recently became an empty-nester, so I was on the lookout for easy and healthy meal options for one. I stumbled upon Freshly and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed with what I received. The meals tasted like they had been frozen and thawed just before shipping to me. The veggies looked and tasted like they had been canned and overcooked, and the rice was undercooked. I even had my daughter over for dinner one night, and we split two of the meals. Neither one of us could finish them because they were so terrible.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with Freshly. The food was gross and a waste of money. If you're looking for a single meal option, I suggest sticking with the frozen food section. Even the most expensive frozen meals are still less expensive than Freshly and taste much better. If you're looking for home delivery, I've tried several meal kit options that are great. Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, and Home Chef are all great options, but they're meant for more than one person eating. Still, leftovers of good, freshly prepared food are better than Freshly.
I really wanted to like Freshly, but unfortunately, it just didn't live up to my expectations. I was hoping for fresh, healthy meals that were easy to prepare, but what I got was far from that. The meals were bland and lacked any real flavor. I also found that the portion sizes were quite small, which left me feeling hungry after eating.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Freshly to anyone looking for a healthy and tasty meal option. The food is simply not worth the price, and there are much better options out there. If you're looking for a single meal option, stick with the frozen food section. If you're looking for home delivery, there are plenty of meal kit options that are much better than Freshly.
Delivering food I did not order.
I have placed an order a few times. Now freshly keeps sending me the same thing that I had ordered at one time. I have NOT placed any orders recently but they keep coming anyway! Help! Please stop these orders! It's not that I don't like the food but I don't want food sent to me that I did not place an order for.
Sincerely
Donna Carrel

Desired outcome: Would like to hear back from someone.
It is a subscription service and will automatically charge you and deliver food every week unless you log into your account and either change your meal choices to other items or skip the upcoming week(s).
Delivery Driver
Your delivery driver this morning 9:40am ish cst at 2901 City Place West Blvd Dallas Texas 75204 refused to deliver the boxes to the residents door. So now they are going to sit in my mail lobby rotting and melting . He is lazy and so are the others . As a curtesy to your clients I would probably instruct your drivers to deliver to the doors and not the hot mail room area. People steal them from the lobby. They are also smelling up my lobby after an over night stay.
Desired outcome: Deliver to the residents doors
Food has hard food material
One of the meals I ordered has something hard I can't tell what it is. Feels like it's bacon bits. It was so hard I got wounds on my palate. I thought the wounds will heal soon. But I think it's been 3 days already and it's still hurting that it bothers me whether I am eating or not. And to add, the delivery was late. This is my first time to order from them and it was definitely a bad experience.
appalling service
What makes people order food? Why do they do it? They are hungry right here right now. That's why.
I don't understand how it actually happened. I ordered food and they delivered it 26 hours later.
Freshly representatives, my question is addressed to you: do you think it's appropriate to do things like this? Do you think I order food in advance to keep it in my fridge or I order it to eat it right after the delivery, huh?
Could be wayyyyyyyyy better if they wanted or tried.
Now I can say that this service is bad and I don't want to deal with them anymore.

Broken system
A strange thing happened. They delivered my food to the wrong address thrice. I would understand if that address looked similar or things like that but it's not true. Was it on purpose? But why would they do that?
Asked their reps, they only apologize and have no idea why their system keeps ignoring my address.
Once they delivered to the right address, but the order was wrong.
I don't know, guys, do something with your system. Get new technicians who will fix it. How can you keep operating if your system is broken?

Irresponsible company
This was my first order form them and I was so glad expecting it. It was scheduled for Wednesday, I was very excited to receive my first order which was scheduled for Friday, 07/12. I spent all day waiting for them and got very upset. Nobody rang the door, nobody phoned, so I just stopped hoping they deliver something. For some reason, I had to go out of the house and I saw the order near my door. Why didn't they just ring? How do I know you arrived? If it's not obvious, so I'm letting you know just in case.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
unprofessional
Their service is a joke, their chiefs are not professional. Think twice before ordering food there.
I figured out that their food is not as fresh as they say. After receiving my first meal I was disappointed by the food quality. They often forgot to deliver food or made me wait for 6 or more hours to wait for it. This is unacceptable. Your business is sick, you should fix it

food there is not fresh
Well, I think the name „freshly” does not suit this company. How about „unfreshly”? I got some free meals and decided to order few expensive ones. Well, all meals I tried were no good. Chicken was awful, and steak wasn't fresh. It had this strange smell. Some meals wasn't prepared right. Carrots were poorly prepared and they were not clearly peeled. Also, some meals that I've tried had some additional ingredients that were not listed. Instead of mushrooms there were beans. I didn't order anything with beans, because I hate them. I contacted customer service and asked why the food is so bad. I also asked about the beans. They just told that they have this new menu and they decided to make a surprise for me. Well, I was grateful for some free meals, but disappointed that I paid and ordered something else. I will never buy anything there and I'll never eat their food even for free. And yes, food there is not fresh. Don't eat it if you don't want to get poisoned.
I had two meals that were terrible. Most of my meals that I get weekly taste decent But lately the meals haven't been that great. I would like a Refund for two meals.
Purchased gift card and now coming is going out of business. Have tried for one month to retrieve funds with the run around from freshly and their affiliated gift card company. Each for 30 days have repeatedly passed the communications to the other while they buy time before closing down. Pls file with the FTC and Attorney General.
