I gotta tell ya, my experience with Fundera was a bit of a rollercoaster ride. So, I was dealing with this guy named Chris Marsiglia, right? We were working together for a few weeks to secure a business loan. Gotta admit, he was pretty darn good at his job. He was all helpful and stuff, guiding me through the whole process. But then, things took a turn for the worse.

You see, I ended up rejecting the offer they approved for me. I mean, come on, it just wasn't what I was looking for, ya know? So, I thought, "Hey, let's switch things up and go for a lower rate SBA loan instead." Seemed like a solid plan to me. But here's where things got a little wonky.

After a couple of emails back and forth (only two, mind you), I kinda dropped the ball and didn't get back to Chris. My bad, I know. But guess what? He goes ahead and closes my account due to "inactivity." Seriously? That's a bit harsh, don't ya think? I mean, I get it, they wanna keep things moving, but c'mon, give a guy a break!

Now, I gotta be honest with ya, this whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. It felt like Fundera was just after some quick cash, ya know, short-term commission and all that jazz. They didn't really seem like the best partner for my business loan needs. I mean, if they're gonna drop me like a hot potato just because I didn't respond to a couple of emails, then what does that say about their commitment to their customers?

So, all in all, I wouldn't exactly recommend Fundera if you're looking for a reliable and understanding partner for your business loan. They may have some good moments, but when it comes down to it, they just didn't cut the mustard for me.

I recently tried signing up for the service provided by Fundera, and I found it quite amusing that only females were allowed to create accounts. Many males, including myself, faced issues when filling out the initial form as the application simply refused to proceed. It was frustrating to see that despite receiving subsequent emails stating that my application was ready, I was not given the opportunity to apply. Instead, I was informed that I did not meet the qualifications for the service. This experience left me convinced that Fundera is nothing more than a scam, with a clear intention to target females exclusively.

To my surprise, even after a year, I am still receiving emails regarding my supposed "account" with Fundera. However, today I finally received an email acknowledging that it was a mistake to continue sending me information about an account that I was illegally denied. I can't help but wonder how many other males received this email, claiming that it was an error to keep bombarding them with information about an account they were unjustly denied.

I'm a small biz owner and during the Covid Crisis, I tried to apply for a PPP loan which seemed like a pretty simple process if you qualified. I met all the qualifications and logically went to the big lender that houses all my biz. But man, within the first couple of hours of trying, something felt off and I started doubting if my app would even get submitted. So I made a quick educated decision and switched gears to Fundera. Let me tell ya, without Fundera and the help of Tom McNulty who was handling my app, I woulda been left high and dry. This dude worked his butt off to help me gather all the info I needed. He'd hit me up (even late at night) to give me updates or if there was anything else I needed. I felt like I was in good hands and just hoped for the best. And you know what? The night before all the money disappeared at 10:00 pm, I got a loan number.

I went with a company like Fundera instead of my big commercial Bank that I use for my biz because after listening to my Bank's webinar, I just knew they wouldn't give a damn about a small biz like mine. But Fundera came through. It was a smart move.

So to Fundera and Tom, I gotta say THANK YOU for taking some stress off my biz during this crazy time.
