Hi, I am complaining about continued alteration of delivery dates.
I ordered and paid for two recliner chairs with footstools on 27th April 2024, I was given a lead time of 7 to 14 days given by the salesman according to information he had of stock available. 14 days came and went with no delivery, I contacted the store and was given a date for 7th June, 7th June passed and I was told that delivery was now 27thJune,27th June has now passed and I have been given another date 5thJuly, which I obviously cannot rely on as it has been changed so many times.I live in a one bedroom flat with no store ridge and consequentially had to let my old chairs go to their new owners who were moving to Leeds, leaving me nothing to sit on. I feel that more than two months is an unreasonable length of time to wait for something I have paid for in full and the original lead time given was not fulfilled, had I known this was going to happen I would not have bought from Furniture Village.I would like to say the salesman in Tamworth store has gone above and beyond in trying to secure my order and keeping in contact with me.I hope someone will contact me to discuss this situation and get a solution
