on 9/28 we emailed FYX Fleet request for roadside service to repair 1 tire on their chassis
on 9/28 we emailed FYX Fleet request for roadside service to repair 1 tire on their chassis. We thought the repair would be cover under roadside service because the chassis rental was belong to POOL chassis. but then 1 week later we receive an invoice amount $524.67 from FYX Fleet for this repair. We emailed FYX Fleet and they claim that tire service does not cover under roadside service. We think this amount is ridiculous and ask for fair charge.

Very dishonest company, mechanic was only on site for less than a hour but was charged for 801.00 on invoice ***. After reading the google reviews I realized I was a victim as well. How I was charged for 4 hours is beyond me. I ended up calling another mobile repair company and they were onsite for 5 mins but only charge 267.00 they found the issue almost immediately. I will make sure to let my group of fleet owners know never to use this company. When I called to dispute this with the company was transferred 4 times, once I got someone she was on the line talking about how her foot hurts which is very very unprofessional.

We are a trucking company that has used and has no choice to use this vendor. they repeatedly fail to fix the repairs on our chassis' and still send a bill. they bill way more than the fair market price for repairs because we have no choice to use them because of the equipment we use. they don't settle disputes in a timely manner and then refuse to void invalid invoices. they subcontract other repair facilities that we have no knowledge of and no recourse with. they also have moved a piece of our equipment off our property without our permission and we had to chase it down and figure out where the equipment was which could have cost us our business.

On 06/22 I required a roadside assistance service call. *** Roadside Assistance, my roadside assistance provider, contacted FYX Fleet (formerly TRAC Interstar) to call me and arrange for a technician to assist me. During my conversation with the FYX Fleet dispatcher, the dispatcher said that the service call would be covered by my roadside assistance provider, but a labor charge of $120.00 would be applied and that he would bill my credit card for $120.00 plus tax. The technician completed the job and was on scene less then 10 minutes. The next day I checked my credit card and found out FYX Fleet had billed my card for $262.48. I called FYX Fleet to complain about the excessive charges and was told that the labor charge was a 2 hour minimum ($120.00/hr x 2). At no time during our original phone conversation did the FYX Fleet dispatcher say there would be a 2 hour minimum labor charge.

On 10/18 we contacted FYX Fleet to assist with road side service, to replace a 235/75/r17.5 flat tire on our landall trailer. Required tire runs at 125PSI. FYX Fleet replaced the tire with a 17" tire stretched it. It also has mx psi 51. They used a standard truck tire. When our truck returned to our yard, the tire was identified as incorrect and we had to call another company to replace the tire as driving with this tie on the trailer loaded would result in another blow out. My office has called 4 times seeking some type of credit for the $792.81. Our calls were placed 10/18, 10/19, 10/20 and 2 on 10/20. We were advised a manager would call and no one has. We have been placed on hold for over an hour to get a manager on the phone and never have. No one has called. This type of management support is disgusting. 4 days, 4 agents and NOT ONE Manager can have the decency or respect to call me about this.

I am an owner operator leased to a trucking company. I broke down on the side of the road in Connecticut on May 20th. I needed roadside service so I called FYX Fleet Roadside Assistance. I was told that it would cost me $135 an hour for them to come out and assist me. I had blown 4 airbags on my trailer. They worked on the truck for 8 hrs and could not finish. They came back the next day and they did not have the correct equipment to lift the trailer up to work on it. They called a wrecker out to pick the trailer up high enough to work on. I asked for a total on my bill and was told that they would let me know on Monday. They tried to charge my credit card that I gave them before they called me with a total. It was denied, thank goodness. They called me and my bill was over $10000. They have the truck over the barrel because I was on the side of the road. I should not have to sell my soul in order to get repairs completed reasonably.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. When i first called, the person on the phone gave me an ETA of 60 mins, my driver waited for 3 hours. We had a load on the trailer that was supposed to be delivered that day, my driver wasn't able to deliver The load that day. I lost money my driver lost money, and it makes my company look bad because the person on the phone gave me a wrong ETA. I called to only replace one tire on the trailer they said if there was anything else added to the service that they were going to contact me before doing anything to confirm with me, that didn't happen they never called me back and they put another tire and a rim on the trailer. Then i was sent an invoice and i was charged full amount, without me authorizing the service that was done. I have been contacting FYX fleet for a week and all the tell me is that they are going to go back the call recordings to verify and that they will be contacting me and they dont call back at all. Im still waiting for an answer. This is not good service, i am not happy, not satisfied as a customer. Very disappointing

On June 27, *** put me in touch with FYX FLEET to assist with the removal of an awning from my motorhome. When the FYX FLEET dispatcher indicated my credit card would be charged a 2 hour minimum, I asked if it could be 1 hour as I had a previous experience with an awning removal that took 45 minutes. He said no, because they needed to assess the effort once on site but that if it took an hour I'd be charged an hour. Had I had any different understanding (e.g., 2 hour minimum for even 5 minutes of labor), I would have declined their service. Subsequently, when I reviewed my credit card statement, I was charged the full two hours. I called FYX on July 9, to request a refund and the representative said she'd look into it and a) send me a copy of the invoice to the email I provided and b) pull the recording of the dispatch call. I never received an email with the invoice from her, nor any other follow-up. . I made a second call to FYX in July 20, thatresulted in a ticket being opened. Having not received any further update from FYX, I called again on August 13, and explained the purpose of my call to three different people each of whom apologized but had to transfer me to a different department. Finally, the fourth person explained in 'policy' terms that two hours was two hours' which was contrary to my verbal understanding with the dispatcher.

Truck repair under Elite Cargo LLC on 10/28. This company was provided with my credit card number the night before the repair on my truck. I was quoted $129.00 for service call, $1.20 per mile and $139.00/hr for labor. The fuel line broke in my tractor and the part was not available to purchase, so I called this service. They came, removed the part (took around 35 minutes) and told me they would return the next day to install it. The next morning they arrived with the same part, temporarily fixed and unsafe to drive with, but being far from home, I had no choice. They reinstalled it in about 25 minutes. I observed the process both times. Before they left, I received an invoice for 9 hours of labor and my card was charged. I contacted the company and the technician, but encountered rudeness and disinterest. They later offered a $200 discount, which I declined as it still left me overcharged by approximately $500.00. The company's subcontractors inflate labor hours. Many customers have similar complaints, which I discovered too late. I feel exploited. In the reported 9.75 hours, a clutch replacement and more could be done, not just a simple tubing fix. They also didn't realize I own the company I drive for. I consent to pay the agreed rates: $1.20 per mile for 78.0 miles, $129.00 service charge, and $139.00/hr for labor. Since the work took only 1 hour, I owe $139.00, but I'm willing to pay for an extra 1 or 2 hours for the tubing's welding. The total bill was $1697.26, but it should be $645.10 plus tax. Assistance in resolving this would be appreciated.
