We are working in G4S Security services W.L.L, Qatar from 2009.All private and public sector security companies incresed S/Guard salary up to 2000 QAR because of the uprising living cost all over the world.But our company provide us QAR 1000 + 200 as food allowence only. This salary is for 12 hour duty in 26 working days, and if we are working 30 or 31 days company gives us 4 or 5 days over time respectively.Out of about 6000 guards 1500 guards have 8 hour duty and they get weekly off and almost same salary (only 50 Riyals less) also!We ever see such an illogical and irrational salary and service package!And company's attitude towards guards are very bad eventhough they are the earning members of the company.If any emergency messages or even faxes are sen from our home, the company never inform us on proper time and never allow to go home on time.Our company never provide the necessary documents for travelling and the leave salary comfortably and even more times it provides only before 3 or 4 hours! we don't know how such a big multi national company behave like this.We think the management is a failure to understand the present worker's status in another private companies in Qatar and other GCC countries. It is requested throught this web site because if we directly requested, they will take diciplinary actions like salary deduction, compulsory off and even termination against us.Because of Qatar sponsorship law we can't comeback or join another company without their NOC, so that the company treated us as slaves.Please help us if you can, or forward this mail to the concerned authorities, we shall ever very thankful for your help.

ya dear friend what you wrote is 100% correct! i was employee there before i year, the behave of company and attitude towords guards compail me for resign.i am happy to resign from g4s qatar. if we talk about salary then it is only 1200 ryl without overtime which i think is very low for 12 hrs. when i gone first time in g4s they took 8000 ryl for visa charge by agent or whatever... they are playing the game of commission, which really surprises me! if complain about g4s i want to write few words, g4s qatar management is unsystematic, non diplomatic, corrupted, 0% evaluation of qualities which i want to say in 1 word that is ridiculous and non-scene .people who are in high rank even those people don't know english well and even don't how to write report or letter but they are promoted to rank of supervisor, patrolling supervisor, inspector or other i high rank. i have seen all this when i was there so i am writing... i think this should be change or stop. As per my knowledge non of G4S Staff not getting less than QR 1400 for 26 days and the salary you are saying is around 5 years before. Also, I felt that management there is pretty reasonable. I never faced any issue yet, if we are doing our assigned task. I am working here since 2010 and I never faced such issues. We have to think about the quality of work we are doing and whether we are delivering the that to company or not.
If we are honest and reliable to G4S they always support you.
If you are going to meet the management with your ego tic mind sure they will screw us.

d in g4s qatar. 14month before our overtime rate is above 4qr but now company reduce ot rate bellow 3qr. I ask with company about this but they saying reason is increase the salary thats why reduce the ot rate. I am doing 8 hr work but no use for work 5 or 4 days. Now company forcing everyone todo 12hr duty even events also. We are ready to work 12hrs but company not giving salary properly. Company make more profits and money but no use for guard. Every company increase there salary but g4s qatar not yet. Company never understands the guards problems. They need only money, they not think from were these money is came. Now everydays price of the things and others so company has to increase the salary in time to time. Now iam doing 12hrs event duty in qatar foundation but its waste now because company not giving salary. Qf paying more money to g4s qatar for doning event. Even company not giving one bottle water. Now i deside to resign the job
G4s policy is work for company not for you, company earn money, you earn pain...g4s is not treat the guard as human treat like slaves, the company not give vacation when the guard need they give vacation when company think., even though finish two year not giving vacation, they don't care about the problems of guard..if you want vacation, need fax, medical certificate, and photo...etc..
I am working here since 2010 and I don't know why you guys have all the pain from the company. Of course its a business and we are part of it. I got better opportunity in this company several times and working in decent position. Opportunity will not come to you you have to find it and you have to prove that you are capable to handle work pressure. other wise each one of us will not get any opportunity other than suffering as you said. Lazy fellows always complain regarding the system.

It is the stories of facts in above article. I am glad that I scape off but I have a heartily sympathy for those friends who are stilling working in. G4S is a well reputed company for those who are in office not for officers. Nevertheless, no pain no gain. I have no clue why the management eyes don't reach in each and every officer. The guys in position don't have any idea how much the painful situation are.

the company have been held hostage for along time by a bunch of evildoers who care non, there are too greedy and corrupt... they have established a system using a bunch of fools from countries like Nepal, India "kerala", sri-lanka...this fools are highly ranked, they have been fooled by their possision to betray their own people, there recruit not by academic quarificaon but by how foolish one is and able to pay a huge amount demanded by the agent... the majority of this employees from nepal.kerala, sri-lank are illitrates which gives the management advantage to treat employees how there want... This evildoers are not fools there know how to trick and play with human mind...there use countries like Philipines, India, Egypt and recentry Kenya to recruit atleast from high school to university employee who will be used in terms of Arabic and English fluent speaking and does not mean salary is different..same salary same work but different mission from the management...a very viscious circle.

The house slave lived and worked in the house of his master, he ate well, clothed well and lived a good life than the field slaves and he was sometimes left in control of the field slaves when their master left...remember he was not qualified nor was he smart...he was made qualified and smart by his master...he was more supportive of his master, and saw nothing wronh with his master, bcoz he ate fresh crumbs and more of leftovers. Now lets go to house slave ...this were in a majority, they were the backbone of their masters economy, they worked from sun up to sun down, and they hated their master...nowdays in 21st century slaverly still the same circle running around...in this company those who are recognized as qualified are those house slave or in todays termnology head office, branch office managers, inspecters, coodinators, seniour supervisors...not qualified, but made qualified by their master.

As far as we know, this salary is for 12 hour duty in 26 working days and if we are working 30 or 31 days company gives us 4 or 5 days over time respectively dividing with the basic Salary QR. 488.00. We don't know in which basis they are providing our monthly Salary as they don't provide Salary slip to all location. Out of 6000 guards 1500 guards have 8 hour duty and they get weekly off and almost same salary (only 50 Riyals less) also! We ever see such an illogical and irrational salary and service package! And company's attitude towards guards are very bad even though they are the earning members of the company. They don't pay for the salary when we extend our leave. To extend our leave we're reporting via phone. They says, we need to fax the application for extension. We fax the application, however, finally, they give us warning letter and deduct our 4 days salary. After 2 or more than 2 years we go for vacation, I think that is enough reason to extend our leave because we can do nothing within 2 months. We've family, friends, domestic work etc. Where will we get the stamped and authorized reason for our personal interest. They will not pay for us as we extend our leave. To issue warning letter is enough if 1st time but they don't do so. They just look around for tiny reason to deduct the poor guards salary to get benefit and to put in their pocket. In this case, they all make groupism(Branch Manager, Rostering Officer, Accountant, Patrolling Supervisor and as well Inspector) so, that we're unable to defend ourself. Is this a really a humanistic work? Is this not a corruption and discriminations. If any emergency messages or even faxes are sent from our home, the company never inform us on proper time and never allow to go home on time. For emergency leave, even in the case of someone from our family deceased and we informed. They need faxes, is this a good behave and humanity ? Our company never provide the necessary documents for travelling and the leave salary comfortably and even more times it provides only before 3 or 4 hours! We don't know how such a big multi-national company behave like this. We think the management has no sense of humor and as a result they are failing to understand the present worker's status. They just need 100% Safety in work, 100% alert and professional in the work. How come we can provide their demand as our mind is always thinking, suffering from these tortures. It is requested through this web site because if we directly request, they will take disciplinary actions like keeping jobless, no monthly payment, salary deduction to termination from the company. Because of Qatar sponsorship law we can't comeback or join another company without their NOC, so that the company treats us as slaves. I dont like what i am seeing here, first of all you attack G4S as a company internationally and not locally. Did you follow the correct procedures to bring this under management attention and have proof of that. If the outcome was negative you can follow the next step. What was your goal here to make more money or work less hours. You sign a legal contract with your company for a fix amount per month does not matter what the other companies do your contract stand.
