Intact Insurance Extended warranty Dishwasher Bosh SHP88PZ55N

I filed a claim for my dishwasher because the inside walls are not properly aligned causing the racks to keep falling off the rails. At first, I got a confirmation that a technician will be in contact with me to schedule an appointment for the repairs and that it was covered. No one ever contacted me so I decided to call back and learned that the insurance had a change of mind and didn't want to cover the dishwasher anymore for unclear reasons. I asked for a counter review of the decision, but the person responsible for reviewing my claim was never available. After many calls and emails, still no returns.

Intact Insurance Cannot reach the broker

My auto insurance J33-8037, expires on 19/10/2023. Home insurance M28-5589, expires on 29/10/2023.

I have been trying to contact LMBF for two weeks, By e-mail, and by phone nobody is available to answer, I left call back message, still no reply. I wanted to discuss the details of payments.

I wonder if I can do the insurance direct with intact instead of through a broker. which be easier.

Intact Insurance Coverage

Having sustained losses covered under my Intact Insurance policy, during August 2021, I made a first party claim with Defendant for related coverages, including but not by way of limitation, Tenant's Legal Liability, Medical Payments, Pollution Liability, and Property Managers' Liability.In response, Claims Representative Breanna Gray, with the intent to lead me to abandon my claim, falsely stated that the subject policy does not include "property insurance".In a letter of 30 September 2021, Defendant INTACT INSURANCE's Unit Claims Manager, Amanda Myers and Claim Representative Breanna Gray, co-authored a letter to me, in confirmation of my legal status as a named insured.

However, in egregious violation of statutory and case law standards of good faith, and with the intent to deprive me of my contractual rights under the subject policy, Agents Myers and Gray rendered false assertions of law and fact, and deliberately misinformed me, that exclusionary language in the policy served to disentitle me of all first party insurance coverages thereunder.
The false assertion of law and fact was, as Defendant's claims agents stated:

"2.5. Your unit or strata lot owners and any tenants, but only with respect to the conduct of the corporation for liability arising out of the common property, excluding liability arising out of the owner's or tenant's possession, occupation or use of property designated for exclusive use."

"... personal use of a limited common property balcony. This balcony as defined in the Strata plans is ‘for use of adjacent strata lot’ and therefore is for your unit’s exclusive use."

If Defendant INTACT INSURANCE had conducted so much as a good faith, fundamental claims investigation, as Claimant repeatedly requested, then demanded, Representatives Myers and Gray would never have cited an inapplicable exclusion of coverage, because the balcony to which they referred was not attached to, nor or part of my unit, not physically accessible to me, not in any condition or location to be "possessed", "occupied" or "used" by me, or any other person or persons!

In response to said denial, in order to resolve the coverage issue extrajudicially, in numerous communications, I provided Intact with evidence that neither I, nor anyone else, had ever "possessed", "occupied", "used", been able to use or even access, said balcony.
In an email of 04 May 2023, Intact Claims Representative Donna McKernon formally confirmed that my request for the aforementioned reconsideration had been denied, and stated that my only alternative was litigation, without consideration by the Customer Experience Team or Intact's Ombudsman.

Intact Insurance My receipt for Payment/Mailed Policy to me

Ipaid my Intact Policy for 2022/2023 August 12 2022. by phone. I was NOT given a receipt nor My actua;Intact Policy. So, I waited a ffew days and called in to explain my situation I was told it would arrive soon.It didn't.I called at least 5 times each time I was told the same refrain. At my seniors' Resdence we MUST show our Intact policyand rceipt to our manager .If we don't have it WE CAN BE ASKED to leave .. Fortunately, We have a very understanding Manager. There was NOTHING until I called in Jan 2023 Chris the operator that helped me through this mess took the time and patience to rectify the siuation.January 20th 2023 I finally got it. I am looking for an apology ffrom Intact Insurance Comp. Your Company does NOT show any concern for its customers. I am looking for ,at lleast "a sincere apology" for ALL the inconvenience, and embarrassment it has caused

Intact Insurance Denied claim [protected]

[protected] claim took 1.5 years to get a denied letter and adjuster puts expired dates if I want to sue lying on what they used to deny the claim [protected] denied claim after 2yrs and then wouldn’t renew adjuster not being accurate in his statement adjuster has used the exactly the same seasons for denying my claim as the websites searched when you find that kind of information on searching the websites you can clearly see it’s the way they use to refuse I have complained over 30 times with no resalution

Desired outcome: I am terminal shortness of life need this claim settled fairly

Intact Insurance Car accident

Had car accident oct 3 put claim online 4th went on holidays couldn’t use phone accident was not my fault adjuster left message release car didn’t advise till 2 weeks later appraisers don’t go to tow yards my rental car coverage was not covered because of non release of totalled car I am going to escalate claim and find new company at renewal time I have not experienced such stress from my insurance company in last month I insure 3 vehicles but not with them after renewal

Intact Insurance Lack of response and care

I was rear ended by one of there insured on August 9th. I had to take time off work. Was diagnosed with grace 2 whiplash. Wanting to get compensated. Nobody will return my calls. This has going in for 3 weeks. My car was a right off. The name I was given to speak with is Sabrina Del-Corpo. I was reassured she would return my calls. Had never happened. After many many phone calls.

Intact Insurance A bunch of lying thieving crooks

I had a accident, towing my boat with my truck, a car ran through a stopsign in front of my truck causing the accident, my truck, trailer and boat was ritten off, I am insured by belair direct owned by intact insurance, I am 100% not at fault, my insurance company intact insurance have been lying to me for over two months telling me not to worry that my boat and trailer was covered because it was being towed by my truck, on the third month I was then told by a manager claims agent that they were not going to cover my boat and only offered me less than half of what my trailer is worth, they do not return calls, I have complained about that, no one cares, if you ever have to file a claim with intact insurance or belair direct,! Warning! Belair direct owned by intact insurance does not care about their costomer's, they will lye to you and not return calls, and rip you off on your settlements,! If you are insured by intact insurance or any of their relaited companys, switch to another insurance company, intact insurance company are nothing but a bunch of lying theiving crooks.

Intact Insurance Cut me off my rental car because I maxed out. Honda Canada is waiting on a part

*This is actually a complaint against Intact Insurance and Honda Canada.
I was in a car accident on Sept 7th, 2021. Intact Insurance encouraged me to use their preferred shop, Assured Automotive in Burlington. They said the repairs would only be guaranteed if I took the car there. My car has been in the shop for almost 5 months now. I had a rental car through insurance until December 23rd. Intact cut me off as they say I have maxxed out my coverage. Honda Finance still expects me to pay for the Lease. I have out-of-pocket expenses from constantly renting vehicles. I need transportation for making a living. It's hard to believe that companies as large as Intact Insurance and Honda Canada would not be more acomodating, especially during a global pandemic. These are unprecedented times. What pandemic protocols have either company put in place to to accomodate me, all of the little people that buy cars and insure the same? What happens to us? Extend a courtesy to the little guy. Honda sends out emails monthly to me telling me I can trade up to a 2022 Honda Civic for only "$10 more per month". I called my rep at Halton Honda and said I want to accept the offer and get a new car. Can't be done until my car is back. Either put me in a car, or, suspend my Lease payments until the car is ready. It's not that difficult.

Desired outcome: Get me in a car, or suspend the Lease payments

Intact Insurance No response from insurance company and delays of brokerage.

I have informed my broker 15 days prior to cancelation of tenancy and suspension of auto insurance as I was leaving for backhome due to emergency. The Intact company always redirect me to broker rather than listen to customer and my broker "All Risk Insurnace Broker" always delays and misguided me, although I complaint intact about my broker irresponsibilty but no one is listening. I am facing financial issues and they are still charging me at it full capacity even after my departure.
My policy No. with Intact is KA67VS492 and my request is to kindly help me in this matter.

Your action against this broker "All-Risk Insurance" and "Intact" is requested.

Intact Insurance Avoid Intact Insurance Company at all costs

Intact Insurance Company Has misled me regarding my insurance application and therefore I can say that they have committed a criminal offence and took my money without proper ground for that. Avoid this company at all costs.

Intact Insurance gouging

we filed a claim with this company for a cracked cultured marble tub that has leaked. we had tenets for the last 2 years and were unaware of the problem until they were gone. we have been give 4 different reasons(excuses) for not covering this.#1 we did not have renters insurance. But when they checked they found that we did have it. #2 it was a fragile, brittle article.#3 the house was settling, bulging and cracking. I would like to add that our house is 25 years old. A house settles within the first few years and not all of a sudden 23 to 25 years later, the house is also on a cement slab.#4 the water damage was not covered. We never once ever asked for the floor to be done as my husband is a contractor and we figured we could do that much our selves.Our concern was the 6 foot custom tub.The rep said she was coming out to our house with a restoration company which she did not bring. This I questioned at the time of the appointment. I had a feeling at that point they had made up their mind already about not covering this before even seeing it. There has not been any answers the same at all. I will not give up on this as I know the damage should be covered, We pay a lot of money every year for the motto of theirs.WE HELP PROTECTWHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. right!Beware of this company as they have gotten too big for their britches and it is time to stand up for what is right.I hrecordings to prove what I have said hereave many photos and

just at the start of the process with my claim ( the only one I've ever had in over 45 yrs) The adjuster is very unprofessional and uses language which is crude and rude...very intimidating and threatening as well. Took 3 days to come to look at damage ( causing more) etc etc. Very questionable business practices, in my opinion

It is now going on 4 years from when we had a house fire in Chatham, Ontario - May 2009. Our family of six lost everything in the middle of the night and almost our youngest child. Intact has not yet honoured our contractual agreement with them. We have paid our premiums for 20 years - never expecting to ever need them. The time has come where we do and they simply are just not there for us. We, like the last complainant are not going to let it go until Intact puts our family and things back to where it was before the fire. Intact's value of "WE HELP PROTECT WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY" isn't holding true with us either.
