Worse! This is the crappiest company I have ever had to deal with. One of their 18 *** driver hit up. Even on the police report their driver admitted he hit us. This happened back in May. They still haven't fixed our truck. They keep stalling. Thankfully we have an attorney, because this company seems to want to not care, or want to settle the issue. They are rude. Never call back. But when they do finally answer the phone, they seem to blame everything on you, it's never their fault. Even after proof, of their wrong doing.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I almost missed my surgery because they couldn't get their job done, as if it's that hard. It's been nothing but trouble from day one about every little thing. My claim's adjuster, based in a particular location, is the worst, most spiteful, condescending, and rude person I've ever had to deal with. This company is a joke. I have been dealing with this since February after I blew out both shoulders. Now, it's a holiday weekend and they couldn't even get my check in on time, so I had to cancel all our family plans for the weekend and sit at home with nothing to do on one of our biggest holiday weekends of the year. I'm about to hire an attorney to deal with this mess for me. This company is absolutely terrible!
One star is prob too high for their service. This is my 2nd time dealing with them. Both times, it seems that it is more important to weasel out of a claim than to empathize with the customer. Also, it is left on you to make sure you get hold of someone. Leaving voicemails, calling their backup does nothing. Overall, it was an infuriating experience to chat with the agent. Total waste of time. I will do my best to terminate my services with the company if complaint is not resolved.
Takes forever to be reimbursed for mileage and meds for workers compensation. Will not even pay for ibruprofen. Long wait to be approved for tests and procedures. Attempt to decline to pay after approving for treatment. Now checks are coming late, and Im under an award letter, and have an attorney. Dont attempt to deal with them without an attorney, and keep good documentation.
I'm giving them two stars because, to their credit, they didn't fight me on any of the medical treatment, physical therapy, or surgery options I needed to address my ACL tear and reconstruction. However, after being told there would be a one week waiting period prior to me getting my first worker's compensation check after the surgery, I discovered that my claims adjuster had gone on vacation without actually setting up my payments. I spoke to her backup, who got everything set up (a week late) but included the next week in the check. Which was supposedly mailed 6 days ago. So now I'm sitting here, broke, with a disconnect notice from the power company and my auto loan people getting annoyed at me for being late on my payment with them for the first time, and when I called to complain, the response I got was basically "check's in the mail, a few business days, not our problem anymore, want to talk to your adjuster so you can express your concerns to them instead?" I'm giving it to the end of the week before I get a lawyer and take legal action against them and my employer for using their services.

The claims adjuster did not return calls or emails to me or the mechanic repairing our car, which was damaged by their insured party at fault. The process of receiving payment for our vehicle has been delayed due to poor communication. I would suggest involving your lawyer to handle interactions with this company. We were repeatedly told our check was in the mail for three weeks, yet we have still not received any payment.

Warning: when you hire a contractor, and they show proof of insurance, be aware that your contractor may have chosen the most cost-effective, yet incompetent insurance company available. Why? Because it's cheap, and they can claim to be insured. But does this mean you're actually protected by a legitimate company that employs common sense and acts responsibly? Three times in the last five months I have waited 2 to 3 weeks waiting to receive my benefit payments. I have been threatened with car repossession and eviction from my apartment and a cancellation of my car insurance. How hard can it be to simply input my benefit payment weekly into a computer. I feel like these tactics areAnd attempt to rush me to a settlement and in my physical therapys. This is ridiculous and causes much more pain and suffering that I am already experiencing.

Horrible company! I was hired by Stephen raab to handle claims I know. I was absolutely honest about my experience because I didn't want to be put in a position where I had no idea what I was doing. Stephen *** put me in that position. He hired me for one position and gave me a completely different one! Auto and low level bi is my expertise. I started and was transferred another adjusters pending. Majority was property claims. Wires were damaged, roofs were damaged...went on and on. Told these people up front only ever handled auto. I was let go after 3 weeks because I couldn't work the claims they gave me. I have no formal training in those claims. This company is ridiculous! Stay away. They will set you up for failure!

I will not pay double health insurance for my fully-insured son who is going off to college - Gallagher continues to deny the waiver, will not provide specific information about what they see in his coverage that they think is not sufficient, and their customer service is horrible. A complaint was filed, and I was told a supervisor would get back to me within *** hours. Three days later, I called back, and was told *** hours and a supervisor should be back in touch with me - after being on hold for 21 minutes while the operator reviewed my file. I am going to contact my Senators to have them look into this company and their business practices.

I submitted 2 verification of coverage letters AND a PDF of my coverage (which is what ACA refers to as a "Cadillac" plan and they still denied it. When I called, they argued that my plan (BC/BS) would not cover her in ***, but the plan they offers (also BC/BS) would. Evidently Gallagher has never heard of the Blue Card program which allows these companies to work together. They then told me that some of the things in our plan were "limited" and because of that, it was denied. So I did a side-by-side comparison of their plan with my plan. Interestingly, the things that are "limited" in my plan are not even mentioned in theirs.Do not walk away from this company. RUN!

I have been trying to get reimbursed for damage to personal property for well over six months now. They have lied, not followed through, stalled, and plain just stopped responding, despite the fact that I have photos of the damage, lots of documentation, phone call records, and third party review confirming the damage and the cause. These people are going to rot in *** for sure. Warning: when you hire a contractor, and he has proof of insurance, understand that your contractor may likely have hired the cheapest *** idiot company they could find. Why? Good morning,
I had an insurance during my studying period in California and the plan was a "Standard UHC" available on their site. I spent almost 600$ of insurance and I got to the doctor two times for a banal flu and then gastric reflux. Few days ago I receive a bill from the clinic of about 500$ in my charge (+300$ that they will send me for sure), since they refused to pay for "pre-existing condition". Well, this thing is not true because I got sick there, I got recovered and and then I got sick again (+300$ mentioned above), thus there are no reasos for what they don't have to pay. I wrote them and they did not provide me any explanation. Hence, I definetly want them to take in charge both the bills.

I reported a claim to the at fault drivers insurance company the following day (5/11/22) because they were closed on the 10th. That same day I got an email from *** who works for Gallagher Bassett Services, requesting a list of information which I then sent to her within the course of two days. Since then I have not received any follow up email or call regarding my claim. Ive called numerous times left about five voicemails to *** and her office, emailed *** at least four times requesting an update on my claim and have gotten no communication back. On Tuesday 6/7/22, I called *** again to request any update or to speak to *** and was told she was in the office but could not take a call. The front desk lady notified me that she note on my claim for *** to give me a call back within 48 hours and it has been more than 48 hours and I not received a call or email yet. I called back again today 6/13/22, and after trying to get a hold of ***, the front desk lady transferred me to her supervisor which I was only able to get his voicemail. It has been more than a month since the crash and since I filed a claim. I need *** and her office Gallagher basset services to be held responsible to arrange for my car to get fixed. On June 23, 2022, a truck driver veered off the highway and collided with our business sign and the electric pole to our business. The police report firmly states it was the driver's fault. The driver listed a false insurance policy on the police report, so I contacted the company the driver was working for. The company then advised me to file a claim with their insurer, Gallagher. It is now October 2022, and the adjuster will not return calls, and her emails are infrequent, stating she is 'working on verifying coverages.' The last response was back on August 23, 2022, which is always the same exact response - essentially nothing. We were forced to spend over three thousand dollars of our own money to restore electricity to our business. We still have no sign, and the destroyed sign is lying in our parking lot. We have to hire and pay thousands to have it removed and a replacement installed. The driver of the truck refuses to speak with us, and the company will not return any of our calls. I am not even sure there is any insurance coverage from the driver, but this has gone on for over 90 days, and we have been out thousands for our family-owned business. This is totally unacceptable. Hello there, my name is [Redacted]. On September 9, I visited a local supermarket with my spouse. We purchased many varieties of products, including meat products. On September 13, 2022, my wife was cooking food, and we consumed a Lamb Leg, three of which turned out to be rancid. I immediately returned to the supermarket and received a refund for the spoiled meat. Following the meal, my wife and I started experiencing abdominal pain. The next day, my wife, who is pregnant, sought medical attention due to the pain, and I started having diarrhea. I promptly contacted the supermarket's customer service and filed a complaint. The following day, a representative from the claims department, a Resolution Manager from Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc., got in touch with me. He offered to cover our medical expenses. I sent him a demand letter requesting $41,152 in compensation, but he refused to pay and also declined to share the incident report with me.
On 9/13/2022, a tractor-trailer drove into my yard, causing damage to parts of my driveway. The driver mistook it for a road. The company he is employed by wanted to settle the matter without involving insurance companies. However, once they were presented with the repair costs, they decided to engage their insurance provider. The assigned adjuster has not been responsive. More than six weeks have passed, and we are still awaiting resolution. We have submitted three different repair estimates and had an insurance adjuster visit our property. It has been over three weeks since the adjuster's visit and the report, yet we have received no further communication. Our primary concern is to obtain the funds necessary to repair our driveway.
Vehicle serviced for tires at a local tire center, noted prior damage, new issues after service
We had our vehicle serviced for tires at a local tire center on 4/24. The technician assessed the vehicle with my wife, recording any existing damage. The invoice listed curb rash on both right side wheels, with no other issues. Post-service, my wife spotted new white scratches on all wheels, which were not present before. She reported this immediately on-site, prompting a claim with their insurer, Gallagher Bassett. Contact with Gallagher Bassett was delayed until 5/6, as they awaited surveillance footage from the tire center. Despite no initial request for footage, the tire center provided it. Further communication with the adjuster resumed on 5/18, with liability accepted for only 50% of the damage to the rear wheels. I've contested this with the Supervisor, highlighting the absence of such damage on the initial invoice and the immediate reporting of the new scratches. Despite the similarity of the scratches on all wheels, the Supervisor denies any correlation to the service provided and questions the invoice's accuracy in detailing pre-service damage. Yet, the vehicle was thoroughly inspected before the service and emerged with consistent new damage on all wheels.

I had been seeing a doctor who had referred me to an orthopedist. But Gallagher H3331363036383435H refused the referral and would not pay for it. On the morning of 8:20 AM, Monday, October 3, 2022, I experienced a car accident on the 400 in Georgia. A driver insured by Gallagher Bassett collided with my vehicle. The impact caused my head to hit the seat. It was determined that the other driver was at fault, and the police issued a citation to him. Later that day, around 4 PM, I initiated a claim process. By Wednesday, I had received my claim number and the contact information for the claims adjuster. Despite my repeated attempts to reach her by phone, all my calls were directed to voicemail. I continued to call on Thursday and Friday. It wasn't until 12:30 PM on Friday that she returned my call, requesting my email address to send me information about submitting the car repair estimate. I diligently searched for a car repair shop that would coordinate with Gallagher Bassett and obtained a cost estimate on Monday morning. However, at that point, I still had not received instructions from the adjuster, Atseda, on where to send the estimate or how to secure a rental car. A week had passed since the accident, and my car's condition had deteriorated, making it increasingly unsafe to drive. Throughout this ordeal, I only received one communication from the adjuster. I reached out to her supervisor and my insurance agent for assistance, but her supervisor did not respond to my calls. The lengthy process and lack of communication from this business have forced me to commute in a damaged car, compromising my safety and resulting in the loss of personal belongings since the tailgate cannot be closed securely. This level of service is unacceptable, and they must expedite the repair of my vehicle.
My vehicle was damaged by a CRM cement truck in July . However, it had been so long since the initial damage assessments were completed that I was required to obtain updated estimates in May 2022. I faxed the new estimates as requested by the representative at Bassett. He left a message confirming receipt of the documents and mentioned that the company was ready to settle. Despite this, I have yet to receive any settlement check. Whenever I attempt to call, I am only able to reach their voicemail.

In October I found mold in a bedroom closet of my house. After finding the leak it was determined that the leak was coming from where a solar panel was installed incorrectly. This improper installation caused a leak in the roof causing damage to the drywall, roof, and insulation. Solar company, Astrum Solar agreed the roof leak was from the solar installation. The original solar installation was July . Currently my roof is still leaking and has not been repaired as Astrum Solar has been slow to response to emails or resolving the issue. I have been in contact with *** the issue since October . *** representative agreed to have the solar panels removed before my new roof was to be installed during the week of March 7,2022. After numerous emails attempting to confirm the solar panel removal *** told me on March 2, 2022 they would not be sending someone to remove the panels and I needed to speak with Gallagher Bassett. Gallagher Bassett is a third party company attempting to facilitate a problem with solar panel installation and the insurance company for the solar company. *** has been may contact at Gallagher Bassett. *** has not provided with a regular update on my case and becomes upset when I call him to get an update. For over one month there has been no update from Gallagher Bassett. I spoke with *** today and asked for the phone number for Astrum Solar, as he said I didnt need to call him everyday. He wouldnt give me the number. Its been six months and my roof still leaks. Every business I deal with is passing off my concerns and response is slow to none.

Gallagher Bassett was supposed to send me a check for $150 to repair or replace shoes that were broken in one of their restaurants this is going on over a month ago now the check never got here and they never reissued another one I demand this this check be sent three day certified mail the claims adjusters unprofessional and she will not follow through and we had a recorded statement of her stating she was going to have the check sent she claims the check was sent several weeks ago and it never arrived they won't reissue another one they're lying
the worst experience i have had with an insurance company. A truck hit me from back while we both stopped and waited for the signal. the truck driver has insurance of this company. the police came and write the report. everything is so clear but it has been 2 months I still cannot get my car fixed. the adjuster never return email or voice message. I called every 5 minutes until she picked up the phone and she was super rude. She told me to send 2 estimates and I did on 8/17 and sent it again on 9/8. I waited and again no response at all. When I called again and again until she pick up the phone and eventually she just said she had no time to review my estimates. I don't know what I can do. Gallagher Bassett is who has been issuing my paychecks due to being on workers compensation. They are the adjusters. My first issue occurred with my checks being sent by mail and getting lost. At this time I did not know direct deposit was a option. I went almost over a month without being paid. Still having to make doctors appointments and therapy appointments. When one of the checks arrived I took it to my bank. Only to have it bounce back due to someone putting a stop on the check. The matter was resolved after speaking with a company rep. I was also informed I can set up direct deposit. I was sent a direct deposit form in the mail. I filled the form out with all of my bank info on it. Paid 27$ for registered 1day mail. When tracking it days later it said delivered. I sent the adjuster a email asking to confirm the form was received. The adjuster then told me he wasnt sure and to send in another form. The form was sent to me and filled out. I didnt have another form to just fill out. I went as far as to call my company for assistance and both parties told me I should fill out another form. I then asked if it was a online method because I am no longer comfortable continuing to send all my bank info in through the mail. Only for it to get lost. I still have not gotten any reply or update as if my emails are getting ignored. This company does not care about peoples livelihood which I guess is to be expected from a company. When I asked who I can make a formal complaint or grievance to. I was told they just didnt know and couldnt tell me. All while not being paid any mileage for appointments or any hrs for appointments.

I was told by *** that I was receiving a check for $4300.That was back in the beginning of June. I never received it so I had to fill out a notarized letter stating I never received the check.On the letter that was getting notarized had an address on it so that the address I mailed it too.I let the company know I sent back the letter.They told me almost two weeks after they never received it and that address on the letter was incorrect!? Then proceeded to give me another address did everything I had to do again and I have still not received a check.
On July 21, I went in for an oil change. The technician told me that everything was fine and there were no leaks. 34 miles later my engine locked up leaving myself, my Army veteran husband, and his service dog stranded on the side of the road. We had the vehicle towed to our home, and the next day the District Manager came out and took pictures. My husband also took pictures showing that the oil had been significantly overfilled. I was given a claim number and told to contact the insurance. I have called nearly daily and left voicemails for the adjuster, who has not returned any of my calls. My vehicle had no previous issues and is now sitting useless in my driveway while I'm still having to pay for it.
I own a trucking company based out of ***. On 3/08/22 one of my Semi trucks was rear ended by another semi truck. My truck was a total loss! I provided police reports and all documentation that i was asked to provide including lost revenue to my company! After 14 weeks, my property damage was settled, but nothing has been resolved as far as my lost revenue. The company had their own outside party come up with amount for my lost revenue and I have that document , but my calls are not returned! claim number [protected]-AD-01. I had several adjusters and one adjuster twice! This adjuster has returned my call once in six months! I feel that the company is acting in bad faith and they are causing. irreparable harm to my business!

On Dec. 18, 2021, my son's parked car was hit by the insured's taxi driver. My son was unaware of the accident until I informed him, as the driver reported it to me directly. The accident was reported on Jan. 12, 2022. I was told to call back the next day for a claim number. On Jan. 13, 2022, I received a claim number and was assigned a Resolution Manager. On Jan. 25, 2022, I had a phone interview with the insurance representative and sent photos of the damage via email. Despite follow-up emails and calls to the insurance company, there has been no resolution. On Jun. 2, 2022, the representative claimed difficulty contacting the insured, which is unreasonable. On Jun. 8, 2022, I requested to speak with a supervisor and was told to expect a callback within 48 hours. I am still waiting for that call. The claim should have been settled within thirty days, as the driver was cited. Any assistance in expediting this process would be appreciated.

My vehicle was struck by a Semi-Truck Driver on 04/23/2022. The driver was cited for turning carelessly. The police report issued on 05/2/2022 confirmed the driver's fault and included a witness statement about the careless turn. As of 05/11/2022, the case manager has not returned my calls despite multiple voicemails. I've also contacted her supervisor with my claim number [protected]-AD-01, but received no response. My initial contact with the case manager was on 04/25/2022, and she advised filing a claim with my insurance for a rental car and repairs, which I'm reluctant to do due to potential rate increases. I need effective communication and action to ensure my vehicle is repaired. I've followed up with the body shop and Gallagher Bassett without success. Currently, I'm without a vehicle and relying on borrowed cars. I urgently require assistance from Gallagher Bassett's leadership for an update and resolution.

On September 12th my husband suffered a work related injury
On September 12th my husband suffered a work related injury. He ended up with second and third degree chemical *** on his back and buttock. I rushed him to the hospital who referred us to the *** which was almost 200 miles round trip for us. Gallagher Bassett is the company used for his workers compensation. After being off work for a month, needing daily bandage changes and burn cleanings (at least an hour and a half a day of my time) multiple trips to the burn center, and a ton of out of pocket expenses for bandages and supplies he was cleared for work. It took them until December to reimburse his lost wages however, no out of pocket expenses were reimbursed even though they were provided with all receipts and a spreadsheet the day he returned to work. Over the 4 months that we waited we attempted to contact the lady in charge of my husbands claim. She was never available to speak with, every email sent to her came back undeliverable and the fax number provided did not even work. Finally, my husband demanded that we be given to someone above her in the company who provided us with information that a check was being sent out. When we received the check for reimbursements it didn't even account for all of the receipts provided to their office. No mileage was paid and we are now being told that they don't have to pay out mileage even though we were told in the very beginning to track it all because it was all reimbursable. The amount we are out in no way compares to what they paid, the amount we had to chase them down to even get what we did get is uncalled for. At this point, the doctors have told my husband that he may need laser scar removal in the future due to the amount of scaring he now has. Dealing with this company has been absolutely horrible.

I urgently need to discuss Claim # 051256-WC-01 with a supervisor. I refuse to interact with anyone else. A month has passed since my work-related injury, yet I haven't received the mandated injury compensation. Despite fulfilling all requests, including irrelevant ones, my adjustor and the nurses seem intent on denying my claim rather than processing it. They've neglected to obtain my medical records and haven't updated me, effectively stalling and insinuating that I'm dishonest. My patience is exhausted, and I demand a supervisor's call before involving my lawyer. My employer has conceded the injury occurred at work, but progress on my claim is being deliberately delayed. The insinuation that my hospitalization was self-inflicted or due to my lifestyle, including unfounded liver issues, is unacceptable. I've been treated as a liar before by GallagherBassett over a work injury claim, and I refuse to endure another invasive nurse visit or release unrelated medical records. It's clear in Nebraska that I'm safeguarded against such accusations, and I won't consent to further invasions of my privacy.

I call multiple times, send an *** tells me if I don't like how they handle things to file with my own . I ask for her supervisor- who is also rude & tells me the same. I am threatened with storage fees for car because I responsibly had it moved from side of road to place for repair. I keep calling/emailing for updates; told I am not going to be given a daily update- I said I never asked for one, just any update. I am accused of never giving permission for the car to be moved to a salvage lot- no one asked me- or told me my car is totaled- I am again threatened with storage fees. I am told the car has to be moved to be evaluated (even though found out car was supposedly already eval- but they had no keys? )and therefore just mpleted the report without seeing in my car. Gave a "1" for ndition of car and fabricated a mileage on car...*** more than actual mileage. I am given a settlement based on wrong #'s-told no negotiating & take it or leave it & file with my own , again. I came back to them and they reluctantly rrected my mileage... but they refuse to update the 1 mp listed which is for TWICE as many miles as my car but oddly shows a higher value than cars with *** less miles than my car? I have been treated horribly. Even after telling them my Dad is dying & I was in the middle of a move to be close to *** 19 yr. *** daughter having no car for over a *** is 2.5 hrs. away at llege. The report was wrong, was lied to, & they are not acting in a manner I am accustomed to- what is happening in our world? IF lies, deceit and no more human empathy in the world, we are all in trouble. Gallagher Bassett Claim No# 001968 was being handled by a Resolution Manager who used Adjusters. Gallagher Bassett created and offered to the Claimant a modified release for a Husband and Wife to sign. This release involved a party with whom there was no existing contract or claim filed with Gallagher Bassett for settlement. The modified release was intended to absolve liability for both property damage and personal injury or other mental harm caused by an accident on June 1st, 2022. Note: All contracts and claims are owned by the Claimant, as supported by information from Penske Truck and documents created to resolve these claims by the involved parties, Gallagher Bassett and the Claimant. The Claimant rented a Penske Truck for a one-way trip, during which the truck suffered engine failure, leading to personal property damage and mental distress. A Gallagher Bassett representative, whose name is unknown, contacted the Claimant to handle the personal injury claim, stating that the company does not cover certain damages in personal property claims. The Claimant insisted that such language be removed from the release, refusing to be misled or coerced into signing a release or any contracts involving a third party with no existing contract or claim. It was confirmed that the release had been specifically altered, which the Claimant rejected. The Claimant sent a counteroffer that did not alter any existing contracts or claims, but no response was received.

On July 28th, I visited a Menards store to pick up an online order. The pickup involves going to the back of the store, scanning in to get through a gate, then picking up the item and rescanning at the gate on the way out. On the way out, a person will check your vehicle to make sure you've picked up the correct product from the order. While I was at the gate checking out with my order, a young menards employee opened the tailgate of my truck to make sure that I had the router table I had ordered. When he came back up to my window, he said that I was "good to go" and opened the gate. Less than a mile down the road, I was suddenly stopped by folks in traffic. Turns out the young man at menards failed to close my tailgate, and a personal grill that I had in the back of my truck (from camping) had fallen out, nearly causing a crash (luckily it didn't.) The grill however, did not make it and was severly damaged. I reached out to *** to file a complaint/get a refund for the grill and was forwarded to their insurance company, Gallagher Bassett. This is where the real problem starts: I filed the claim back on 7/28. I was unable to reach a representative to open my claim until 8/22 (nearly a month later) despite numerous calls and emails. The email that I finally received stated that I need to enclose details, pictures, etc. I provided all of the requested information on 8/24. It has now been 6 weeks and I have not received any communication. Despite calling all the phone numbers I was given and emailing both the insurance rep, and her boss, I've reached nobody (it always goes to voicemail.) All I want is to be refunded for my grill. I'm not sure why I'm being ignored and am not able to reach anyone to process this request. I'm hoping I can get help! I've attached images of the emails, dates, and me hoping to get help. I've also called, left voicemails, etc., but there's been absolutely no response. Please let me know if there's any additional info I can provide!

I bought tires at a store after getting a membership, but they missed installing wheel sensors.
I had purchased tires at a store (after just buying a membership). During the purchasing process, I explained I needed new wheel sensors installed as well. They didn't do that. They then had to bring my 2008 Highlander back in and dismount/remount the tires to install the sensors, which it turns out they didn't quote me for when I had asked for them, and they tried to get me to pay another mounting and balancing fee. FINALLY got that done and I'm out. Come November, I had gotten a flat (never disclosed as to why my tire went flat) but I had road hazard warranty on the brand new tires and I was also scheduled for the first tire rotation. When I got the flat, I put the full-size spare wheel on and took it to the store. I take it in and they tell me that my wheel is not repairable and they are going to get a replacement tire in from another store because my tires were discontinued. Several days pass. I contact them. I need to wait, it's not in. Several days pass again, still not in. Eventually, they tell me that they will call when it's in. The tire rotation was on November 23rd. Come December 8th, my wheel snaps off. The wheel hits a car next to me, bounces across all 6 lanes of the highway and, by a miracle, does NOT strike anyone else (possibly killing them). I filled out the form for the store for the incident to be investigated but I'm just sitting with my car at a shop waiting to be fixed, no contact from the Insurance company (Gallagher) and to make matters worse my adjuster simply took the holiday off without any heads up, warning, or update to my claim. I've asked for my case to be escalated and I have not heard back from the store stating who the manager is who will be taking over my case for an immediate resolution. I've gone about a month without a car due to having my car serviced at the store and I was not even provided a rental. I need my car fixed. 1 replacement wheel and tire for the spare, and I still have not heard that the tire has come in.

I was injured at work on 9/29. A workers comp claim was filed by my employer on 10/4 as I had to start seeking medical attention as well as missing work. I received an initial phone call from Gallagher Bassett to start the process. Then a couple of weeks later I received a letter stating that if I missed work I needed to call *** at the number listed on said letter. I called 7 times over the next few weeks and received no response from anyone. Every time I called, the call center reps that would answer would tell me that they were "escalating" my case to a supervisor since I was not receiving a call back and still I heard nothing from anyone. I finally asked to speak to someone other than *** and was told that I could not and that she was a supervisor. I brought this up to my supervisor as I missed a fair amount of work due to my injury and was told by the supervisors at my job that I should be receiving compensation for some of the missed hours. One of my supervisors reached out to Gallagher Bassett on 11/10 and I received a call from *** stating she wasn't sure why nobody was responding to me, but that she would help me and she asked me to send her the information on when I was injured and all the details on the hours that I had missed etc. She emailed me her contact info. and I sent her everything that I thought she needed and waited a few days. I then reached out to her asking if she could verify that she received the info and if that would be all she needed. I again was left with no response. I waited a few more days, then I tried calling. Since then I have made numerous calls, left numerous voicemails and sent numerous emails to both *** and *** and still have not heard a word from anybody. I have been back to work for 3 months now and do not understand why I have gone so long without being compensated for the hours that I missed due to the injury nor do I understand why I have been completely ignored for the last 5 months.

Gallagher Bassett is a workers' comp insurance company. I can't get anyone to return my phone calls or respond to emails. The first insurance adjustor I had is unresponsive. The last interaction from him was an email on 3/1/2022. I'm trying to get a second opinion from a different doctor (the first doctor I had said I could either live with the injury, or I would need surgery, which he refused to do, and refused to treat me further. I had to see a different doctor which is the current doctor. He put me through some physical therapy but it didn't help. He seems to be out of options. It was not supposed to be labeled as a second opinion). I wrote several emails and called twice. He never responded. I called the company I was working for to try to find out who else can help me. They didn't know who my adjustor was but informed me that I no longer have the same adjustor. They said someone was supposed to call and inform me of this but they never did. Nobody knew who I could call. I found Gallagher Bassett online and left a message twice to have someone contact me. They never did. Finally, I found a local phone number online and called them. They told me who my new adjustor is. I called her and she said she would look into getting a second opinion and call me back. A few days later, I called her and found my number had been blocked. So I called the insurance phone from online, and they got through to her voicemail and told her to contact me. She called once and never left a voicemail. I still couldn't call her back as my number was still blocked. I had the number of her supervisor. She informed me that I was only allowed one second opinion (this conversation was on 3/31/22) and that I had already used it. I told her that the first doctor refused to treat me further so the current doctor was not a second opinion. She said she would call back in 24 hours. I can't get a hold of anyone now and they won't call me.

On behalf of a client insured by Ace Insurance Company, Gallagher Bassett was designated to handle a claim. On January 14, 2022, a recycling truck backed into my yard and driveway, causing an indentation and scratch on the pavement. The truck left significant tire marks and debris. This is not a usual practice, and the damage led to issues with my vehicle's tires. Gallagher Bassett assigned a Resolution Manager to the case, who has not lived up to the company's promise to GUIDE. Communication was mainly through email, and her responses were inadequate. I had to reach out to her supervisor to get any follow-up. She never returns calls and is the decision-maker. The company also failed to GUARD, another stated principle. After sending a stern email, I received a denial letter for my claim with no explanation. When I challenged this, I was asked to provide a Google Earth image from 2019. The image showed no prior damage, contradicting their basis for denial. Further attempts to get a response have been ignored. Lastly, the company did not GO BEYOND, failing to properly address the aftermath of the incident, despite the cleanup efforts by the truck operators. I am still seeking answers.

Let me preface this review by saying that the ONLY reason I gave them a 1 is because the system will not let me give them a 0.I submitted the waiver for my daughter's college to them, which they denied. I submitted 2 verification of coverage letters AND a PDF of my coverage (which is what ACA refers to as a "Cadillac" plan and they still denied it. When I called, they argued that my plan (BC/BS) would not cover her in ***, but the plan they offers (also BC/BS) would. Evidently Gallagher has never heard of the Blue Card program which allows these companies to work together. They then told me that some of the things in our plan were "limited" and because of that, it was denied. So I did a side-by-side comparison of their plan with my plan. Interestingly, the things that are "limited" in my plan are not even mentioned in theirs.Do not walk away from this company. RUN!
Bassett continues to disrupt my life and add more stress to the injury that I am fighting. For the past five months I have not received my benefit payments in a timely and consistent manner. Three times in the last five months I have waited 2 to 3 weeks waiting to receive my benefit payments. I have been threatened with car repossession and eviction from my apartment and a cancellation of my car insurance. How hard can it be to simply input my benefit payment weekly into a computer. I feel like these tactics areAnd attempt to rush me to a settlement and in my physical therapys. This is ridiculous and causes much more pain and suffering that I am already experiencing.
Worse! This is the crappiest company I have ever had to deal with. One of their 18 *** driver hit up. Even on the police report their driver admitted he hit us. This happened back in May. They still haven't fixed our truck. They keep stalling. Thankfully we have an attorney, because this company seems to want to not care, or want to settle the issue. They are rude. Never call back. But when they do finally answer the phone, they seem to blame everything on you, it's never their fault. Even after proof, of their wrong doing.
If I could give a lower review, I would. This for-profit, shady company does not act in good faith at all. I will not pay double health insurance for my fully-insured son who is going off to college - Gallagher continues to deny the waiver, will not provide specific information about what they see in his coverage that they think is not sufficient, and their customer service is horrible. A complaint was filed, and I was told a supervisor would get back to me within a certain number of hours. Three days later, I called back, and was told to wait an additional number of hours and a supervisor should be back in touch with me - after being on hold for 21 minutes while the operator reviewed my file. I am going to contact my Senators to have them look into this company and their business practices.
