Was shopping for a pickup truck was mislead and lied to by sales person (***, deal fell through, they gave me me check back. Next day I bought a truck from Toyota went to bank to put in funds to cover that check to Toyota only to find Gateway Chevrolet had put the check they gave me back through taking 19, 940.86 from my bank account. They admitted they were wrong and said they would 'make me whole" however they will not refund or return my money to me for 2 weeks. They sent an e-mail saying they owe me the money but they will not release it.

On 9/17, at 34,414 miles, the Service Advisor claimed the transmission wasn't broken enough for warranty replacement. By 12/5, with the warranty expired and the transmission still faulty, the dealer agreed to a replacement but charged me partially, not acknowledging their initial misdiagnosis. On 12/22, I paid $1500 for a new transmission for my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 at 38,891 miles, outside the manufacturer's warranty. This issue was first reported during the warranty period on 9/17. The Service Department Manager later conceded on 12/22 that the problem was misdiagnosed in September, yet the dealer wouldn't take full responsibility.

On 5/28 I purchased a vehicle from Gateway Chevrolet. I also purchased Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) insurance as an addendum to the retail installment sales contract. On 5/6 the vehicle was involved in an accident that resulted in a total loss. We filed a claim with the GAP administrator. On 7/24 the claim was declined due to an exclusion that was stated on the reverse side of the contract. However, we were never presented with a double-sided contract. The signed contract that we have only has one side and does not include the exclusion cited in the denial letter. We requested a copy of the signed contract that shows a reverse side, but neither *** in the business office nor the GAP admin. can produce one. We did not agree to, initial or sign a second page. Had we been aware of the exclusion, we would not have purchased the protection. Written requests for resolution by me and my attorney have not been responded to. I would like to avoid litigation.

I arrived at 745am and the sales agent walked in at 757am and said someone would be with me soon, I asked what the issue was since he said to be there at 750am and he said they were working on my paperwork. When I advised him I needed to leave by 830 because I have to work, he said be happy because typically it takes more than 30 minutes to buy a car and I needed to be patient. Around 815am, I was still waiting and asked the receptionist who can give me a refund because I needed to leave. After that, the agent escorted me into the finance managers office. I explained why I was frustrated to the gentleman and he apologized stating 'not sure why someone told you to be here at 750am since we don't open till 8 and have a meeting between ***am'. I showed him a screenshot of the text from Trevor(sales agent) and he said he would have the *** reach out to me. Sorry if this was submitted twice, it didn't give me a confirmation when I filed it out previously.

I purchase my 2018 Buick Regal in September
I purchase my 2018 Buick Regal in September. At the time of Purchase the Dealership touted the 174 point inspection and the vehicle being a GMC certified preowned as part of my peace of mind purchase. I was told several times that the care had pass the inspected which is one of the reason it could be considers a certified preowned. About two months ago my vehicle started experiencing heave vibration, I took my vehicle to the dealership and the did an alignment on it. The vibration continued and I was concerned about the quality of service I took my vehicle to another GMC dealership and after 5 days of troubleshooting found that i had two tires that had gone bad both manufacture defects both being replaced but at 34%, my cost 64% or 205 dollars. They couldn't balance one tire it was as they stated severely out of balance, after only driving lease than 8000 miles on the car. I don't see how this could have been missed during the 174 point inspection. Now I'm out over 400 dollars for two tires that I have to replace. I don't understand how a dealership ;who touts this inspection doesn't get fined for not doing it correctly. I'm also told by the other GMC that they can't guarantee and work done by another dealership. I know that the dealership will point out that the the warranty doesn't cover wear and tear, and I understand that but this should have be caught during the 174 point inspection. I'm just frustrated that a relevantly new car has to have the tires replace and both were manufacture defects.
