General Supplies Review: Average Experience with General Supplies Inc. - Website Outdated, Pricey Shipping Box

My experience with General Supplies Inc. (gsistore.com) was just okay. The website itself didn't feel very up-to-date. I found the shipping box I needed, but I was a bit disappointed with the price. They charged me $12 for a box that I could have gotten from USPS for only $6. Personally, I thought that was too expensive.

The process of ordering was simple enough. I selected the items I wanted, printed the label, and packed everything up. It took me a maximum of 5 minutes to complete the whole process. Now, if they're charging $6 for just 5 minutes of work, it makes me wonder if they're paying their employees $70 per hour or $140,000 per year. That sounds like a pretty good job to me!

General Supplies Lack of Communication on Order Status: Urgent Boiler Repair Delayed

My order was supposed to ship in 3 days. So far, I haven't received any notice that it has shipped. I'm wondering if it has actually been shipped. I have a customer whose boiler is currently not working, and his hot water comes from an indirect tank connected to the boiler. It's really important for me to have some communication regarding the status of my order.

General Supplies Payment Troubles at General Supplies Inc.: Frustrating Experience, 2 Stars

Checking out from General Supplies Inc. was a bit of a hassle, to be honest. I attempted to use my trusty credit card, but it kept giving me a hard time, claiming there was some sort of issue with it. Frustrating, right? However, I didn't let that deter me. I decided to give PayPal a shot, and lo and behold, it worked like a charm! I must admit, though, this whole ordeal wasted quite a chunk of my precious time that could have been better spent elsewhere. Hence, my overall rating of 2 stars.

General Supplies Terrible Payment Process and Frustrating Experience with General Supplies Inc

The payment process on the General Supplies Inc. website is absolutely terrible, let me tell you. I mean, seriously, it's like a never-ending loop of frustration. So, here's what happened: I placed my order, right? And then, I got this email confirming my order. Great, right? Wrong! Turns out, I had to reorder because of these annoying shipping charges. Ugh, what a hassle!

But wait, it gets even worse. When I tried to pay for my order with my card, it just wouldn't go through. Like, seriously? So, I had to dig out another card and try again. Can you believe it? Talk about wasting my precious time. At this point, I'm not even sure if I'll ever receive my order. It's like a big question mark hanging over my head.

I did it late at night, when there wasn't anyone around to help me. So that made it more challenging! I listened to the automated phone service last night, it said that I would be charged a fee? General Supplies Annoying Cart Pop-ups Ruined My Browsing Experience on General Supplies Inc.'s Website

I gotta say, I was pretty annoyed when I was browsing through General Supplies Inc.'s website (gsistore.com). Every time I wanted to check out some other items on different web pages, my cart information kept popping up and getting in the way. It was a real hassle having to close that cart info every time I opened a new page. I mean, come on, we all know how the cart process works. There's no need to constantly shove it in my face every time I click on something.

Now, I will admit that General Supplies Inc. did have a good price on the item I was interested in. But honestly, the whole cart situation just left me feeling annoyed. General Supplies Inc. (gsistore.com) is a pretty decent website overall, but there is one small issue that I encountered. When I reached the final page, the 'contact' information displayed my email address, even though I attempted to modify it earlier and saw that it was correct on the initial screen.

Unfortunately, I must say that the customer service provided by General Supplies Inc. was quite disappointing. I decided to give them a call in order to confirm the sizing options between 3/8 and 1/2. However, the person who answered the phone seemed to have difficulty speaking and understanding English as their primary language. It was rather frustrating because they kept repeating the same thing over and over again, which didn't make any sense in relation to my question.

General Supplies Beware of General Supplies Inc. (gsistore.com): Cheap, Defective Products and No Customer Support

Every single item I received from General Supplies Inc. (gsistore.com) was either made by some cheap company overseas or it was defective. I mean, seriously, what a disappointment! I ordered a pilot assembly and guess what? It was defective! Can you believe it? It caused hundreds of dollars of repairs to my furnace. Talk about a major headache!

Let me tell you, I will never, ever buy from this guy again. And let me warn you, anyone who buys from him runs the risk of doing serious damage to their system. I mean, come on! The parts he sells are so cheaply made, it's like he doesn't even care about quality. They are definitely not OEM parts, that's for sure.

Oh, and get this. I actually contacted him to see if he would offer any help. You know, maybe some sort of compensation for the damage caused by his defective product. But guess what? Of course, he did not offer any help at all. Can you believe the nerve?

I'm telling you, folks, stay away from General Supplies Inc. (gsistore.com). Save yourself the trouble and find a reputable seller who actually cares about their customers and sells quality products. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
