Disappointing Experience with Get Me Healthcare: Unnecessary Financial Burden and Hidden Membership Fee
I left my job back in February and needed insurance, so I started looking for affordable options since I wouldn't have any income. That's when I stumbled upon this company, Get Me Healthcare. I thought they would be able to help me get the insurance I needed, and I trusted that I was in good hands.
To my surprise, things didn't turn out as I had hoped. Not only was I already paying for my insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield, but I also had dental coverage through another company and life insurance through fidelity. Despite all of this, I was still being charged over $160 every month by Get Me Healthcare. What the hell, right?
I couldn't understand why I was paying them so much money when I was already taking care of all my insurance needs myself. So, I decided to dig deeper and find out what was going on. Turns out, that $160+ charge was actually a membership fee. Can you believe it? As someone who has no income and is relying on my 401K to cover my health insurance until I find a new job, this additional cost is just too much for me to handle.
From now on, I've decided to take matters into my own hands and handle my insurance needs myself. I've already set everything up, and I won't be needing the services of Get Me Healthcare anymore. That monthly fee they were charging me is just ridiculous, especially when I don't even need their service. I've made sure to cancel my membership, so they can no longer take my hard-earned money.
In conclusion, my experience with Get Me Healthcare has been quite disappointing. I had high hopes that they would assist me in finding affordable insurance, but instead, they ended up adding an unnecessary financial burden on top of everything else. I would advise anyone in a similar situation to be cautious and carefully consider whether their services are truly worth the cost.
Disappointing Experience with Get Me Healthcare: Incompetence, Lack of Assistance, and Overcharging
Matthew, who claims to be a licensed insurance agent, and I had a discussion about finalizing a healthcare plan policy through Get Me Healthcare. He assured me that I would receive an email containing all the necessary information regarding my policy. However, to my surprise, the email I received had completely different policy details. Naturally, I immediately contacted Matthew to inform him about this mix-up.
In response, Matthew informed me that their computer system was down, causing problems for everyone. He apologized for the inconvenience but failed to provide any solution or assistance. Disappointingly, the following day passed without any communication from Matthew or anyone else at Get Me Healthcare. I found myself in a ridiculous situation, desperately in need of help but left to fend for myself.
Curiosity led me to check my credit card statement, only to discover not one, but two separate charges (seriously, what?). These charges amounted to a significantly higher sum than what I had initially agreed upon. Frustrated, I immediately contacted the customer service of Get Me Healthcare. Thankfully, they refunded one of the charges and canceled the policy associated with it.
However, to my dismay, I was informed that I would have to take matters into my own hands to resolve the issue with the remaining charge. I was left to search for the elusive phone number, make the call myself, and request a refund while also canceling the policy. It baffled me that they were able to process the charge without any issue, yet they couldn't refund it or even provide me with the necessary contact information for a refund.
This entire experience was beyond bizarre and an utter waste of my precious time. I couldn't believe the level of incompetence and lack of assistance I encountered throughout this ordeal. It left me feeling frustrated and disappointed in the services provided by Get Me Healthcare.
Misleading "Obamacare" Coverage - Run Away and Get Real Insurance
I was told I got "Obamacare" and that was BS. What I got was meager "supplemental" insurance which is garbage. No way to get to anybody in customer service - once they have you, you're screwed. DON'T make the same mistake I did - run, run, run away from these guys. Go to the Federal website and get real insurance. If you're still within the grace period where you can cancel, you will NEVER get to a live person - actually, I did get to one person who was rude as hell and treated me like crap, so I called back. Since then, nobody will pick up the phone. Garbage.
Update - when I called the customer service number listed on my membership card instead of the "agency's" number, I received assistance, and the representative was honest and clarified that this was not comprehensive insurance. She cancelled my policy and will be issuing a refund. This plan might be OK as supplemental, and perhaps they also offer comprehensive plans - but since I should be reviewing the insurance company rather than the agency, I will upgrade my review a bit to be fair.

Well it appears this company doesn't care about bad reviews since there still pulling the same stuff. Anyway the other day our furnace quit working, & unfortunately, since both my wife & myself suffer from health conditions that are affected by cold conditions, we had to get it fixed immediately. This is MN & you never know what the next weather system will be. Anyway called the # for Air Tech who we used in the past, but Service Today is who responded. I guess they bought the other company out? Anyway they called us about 9:30 & told us they'd be out shortly. And they came about 10 minutes later, I explained the situation & he proceeded to sit down in front of the furnace & started taking the covers off. He was there for about 2 hours & then told us he needed to speak to me. One of the things he did during the 2 hrs was to check on a warranty, since we assumed it was on warranty. Unfortunately, it wasn't which is another issue but doesn't have anything to do with these guys. He started explaining this diagnostic crap & the levels of service & of course it was going to cost additional dollars to perform this diagnostic. I then asked well what's wrong with furnace? He informed me that he didn't know, so for 2 hrs all he did was confirm that no warranty existed & who knows what else. He then started pushing this diagnostic crap, in fact , I got the impression that if I didn't choose one, the furnace may not be fixed. So I chose one & told him to fix the damn furnace. It turned out to be the blower motor had went out. He went & got the motor and proceeded to repair it. Actual repair was maybe an hour & a half, but he was there for almost 5 hours.it appears to be working fine, of course, there's no warranty for the work done. After he was done he asked if there was anything else he could do. I told him to get the hell out of my house. My recommendation is if your looking to be screwed over, this is the company for you. They had no problem taking advantage of senior citizens with life threatening health conditions, these are your guys.
Worst Company. This company is in the business of selling the packages and not to do the fair repair service. Their only interest is to make as much money as possible.Just to replace thermostat they charged $606.00. When we called they said $79 trip fee and technician will tell you the cost to fix the issue. First the technician came late after he called and then after 2 hrs of he said to diagnose the issue, they have a package of $350, $650, $950 and $1250. Then he started explaining club membership program as he is trying to sell a product of something, instead of telling me what is the issue and how he is going to fix. Then after 2 hrs he told me that issue with thermostat and to fix that it will cost another $350. It was almost 4 hrs and 7 pm and I don't have no choice and they put me in a spot to pay that amount to get it fixed. I was surprised to see these many reviews, but if you call any service you will end up paying minimum $350 diagnosis fee and then on top of that parts and labor for the actual repair. So stay away from this company. Please read ComplaintsBoard.com review before scheduling an appointment with the company. When you call them they say How I can make you smile today, but its not a smile experience at the end.
I would caution anyone to use this company. They told me a kitchen faucet was worth over $900 and when I went on- line to register it, I found out it retailed for under $300. Then they charged me $1000 to install it. I was ripped off and mislead and would not give them any stars.
GetMeCare Insurance: A Disappointing Experience with Zero Coverage and Limited Provider Options
I switched insurans becuz this one sounded good, rates were kinda better but not like super better. Then all of a sudden, we gotta do all these procedures and guess what? The insurans covers NUTHIN'. Like, seriously, ZERO. They only paid like less than 2% of two bills and then $0 for the other 9 bills. Can you believe that? I needed a lumbar puncture and an MRI, which are like basic stuff for my condition, and they paid $0 for that. And don't even get me started on the doctor visits, also $0. Oh, and get this, they don't even cover visits to our local hospital! So we gotta drive like an hour west just to get the lumbar puncture done and actually be covered. What if there's an emergency? This is just unreal. It's like I'm the insurans company and they're the customer! What the heck are we even payin' for? This gotta be some kinda fraud or somethin'. Tomorrow, we're gonna complain to the company and if they don't fix this mess real quick, we're takin' it up with our state's Dept. of Insurans. I reckon everyone who's had a bad time with GetMeCare should do the same. Maybe then they'll actually listen to us. Don't fall for these scammers, folks. And if you already got GetMeCare, just try not to get sick, I guess.
Beware of Antonio Joseph and the Life Insurance Scam: False Pretenses and Impossible Cancellations
I talked to this person who seemed nice and understanding, and they were supposed to help me find the best coverage for my health problems. This guy named Antonio Joseph took advantage of my sickness and lied about having the same diagnosis. He even made up stories about his own "struggles". He gave me his personal extension number and everything.
After we picked a plan that worked for me, at the end of our conversation, he said he would call me back on Monday to finish setting everything up. But then he transferred me to what I thought was the billing department. Turns out, it was actually a life insurance company that's a total scam. They trick you into signing up for life insurance under false pretenses, and then they make it nearly impossible to cancel.
Luckily, I was smart enough to freeze my credit card as soon as I started feeling suspicious. I've called them at least 20 times now, trying to reach someone in customer service, but no one ever picks up. They just keep putting me on hold forever and keep saying that an agent will answer in 10 minutes. It's so frustrating! I also sent them an email, and now I'm just praying that they cancel this scam so they don't try to charge me in the future. It's really upsetting, and I don't want anyone else to fall for their tricks. So please, don't trust them!
Misleading Plan Information and Unprofessional Customer Service at Get Me Healthcare
I had a really good chat with one of the agents at Get Me Healthcare and everything seemed to be going well with the plan they offered, especially since it had a $0 cost for doctor visits. However, things took a turn when I was transferred to a few different people during the final process. I asked three different individuals about the copay for seeing a specialist, but none of them were able to provide me with an answer. They simply told me to call the state on Monday, without explaining why.
So, I did as they suggested and contacted the state representative. To my surprise, they informed me that there was no information about the plan in their system. Moreover, the representative mentioned that the plan I was told about didn't even exist. The closest plan to what I had mentioned had a whopping $7,000 deductible that needed to be met before certain benefits kicked in. On top of that, the copay for seeing a specialist was a hefty $100.
Feeling confused and frustrated, I decided to call Get Me Healthcare again for some clarification. However, instead of addressing my concerns or explaining anything, the agent I spoke with started yelling at me. He accused me of lying and claimed that everything I was saying was false. He even threatened to play the recorded call to prove his point, all while talking over me and not allowing me to get a word in. This went on for several minutes until I finally gave up and hung up the phone.
If this is how Get Me Healthcare treats their clients, then I definitely won't be reaching out to them again. I promptly cancelled whatever plan they had signed me up for because, honestly, no one was able to provide me with a straightforward answer. It's disappointing to experience such poor customer service and lack of clarity when it comes to something as important as healthcare.
Beware of Get Me Healthcare: Scammers and Unprofessional Customer Service
This company, Get Me Healthcare, totally fooled me and scammed me big time when they signed me up for health insurance back in October 2019. I thought I was dealing with the government health care agency, but boy was I wrong! They tricked me into giving my credit card info and paying for my government health care policy on the spot, but it turns out that was a big fat lie. Instead, they took my credit card details and handed them over to some other company that has been charging me a whopping 70 bucks every month. Can you believe it? Over 400 dollars down the drain, all because I was misled and lied to.
I finally canceled my coverage with the Government health care in December 2019, but guess what? This sneaky company I knew nothing about keeps charging me. It's like they just won't give up!
So, I tried to get in touch with this guy named William Cox, but guess who I ended up talking to? Some dude named Steve. He had the audacity to tell me that "Billy" wasn't the person I needed to speak to. And then, out of nowhere, he starts telling me to "calm down." Like, seriously? I was calm as a cucumber, not even close to losing my cool. But this Steve guy kept insisting that I was talking over him, even though I was as quiet as a mouse on my end. And let me tell you, he spoke to me in the most unprofessional and rude way possible. It was downright disrespectful!
When I asked Steve to repeat his last name because I couldn't hear it, he had the nerve to say it was "crap." Can you believe the nerve of this guy? And then he had the audacity to tell me that it wasn't "his" company's problem that I didn't understand. Talk about a narcissist! It was clear as day that he had some serious issues with women, because he kept interrupting me and talking down to me.
This company is nothing but a bunch of scammers who prey on innocent people like me who are just trying to make ends meet. And when a normal, reasonable person like me tries to have a civilized conversation with their so-called customer service manager, they treat us with nothing but disrespect.
Let me tell you, this so-called "supervisor" should never be allowed to talk to anyone the way he talked to me. It's just not right!
They stole a whopping 480 dollars from my family, and they don't even feel an ounce of remorse about it. Can you believe the nerve of these people? It's just plain wrong.
I totally cancelled after a couple months in 2021...and stopped payment to the bank...and even though I got and currently have premium insurance through my job with Aetna they never cancelled me with the state and now I'm billed over 5500.00 through the IRS for 2022 and who knows for 2023 and I paid for platinum coverage during the same time...Blake Bowman which you can never reach was my broker...this is a total scam...very disgusted and I paid them like 277 a month while I had it...very disgusted
Beware of Tobias and Associates/Getmehealthcare: Unreliable Insurance and Fraudulent Charges
I purchased Medical and Dental Insurance from Tobias and Associates, also known as getmehealthcare, in January 2019. Their rates were much lower than everyone else's, which made me suspicious. However, they seemed to be legitimate.
In April, I went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned, but the dentist informed me that the insurance company stated I was not insured. Confused and concerned, I reached out to Adroit, the only contact I had regarding my insurance since I hadn't received my insurance packets yet.
Then, in June, I had a medical emergency and had no idea who to contact since I hadn't received any information from them. After numerous attempts, I finally managed to speak to a representative and asked for a doctor recommendation. However, they had trouble finding someone in Seattle. When I suggested going to Kaiser Permanente, they had no idea who that was. This made me worried. I ended up going to urgent care and paying out of pocket.
To make matters worse, my bank called and informed me of suspicious charges on my debit card for fashinnova.com and airline tickets. The only company I had used that card for was getmehealthcare. I immediately blocked them from making future payments and filed a claim for the last payment. Unfortunately, they fought against my claim, and my bank awarded them instead of me.
I tried calling getmehealthcare multiple times using the various extensions they provided, but 9 out of 10 times, no one answered. When I finally managed to get through, they were extremely defensive and refused to offer a refund for the insurance they failed to provide. This whole ordeal caused me to lose approximately $1800, which is a significant amount. It's disheartening that a company that is supposed to assist me ended up causing me immense stress and anxiety, especially when I needed medical attention and had already paid them a substantial sum of money.
I strongly advise you to save your time, money, and peace of mind by staying away from Tobias and Associates/Getmehealthcare.
Troubles with Getmecare Health Plan: Unreliable Coverage and Payment Issues
I recently got a notice from administrative concepts inc, and they straight up told me that they ain't gonna pay for my hospital bill at the Presbyterian hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Man, I've been having so many issues with Getmecare health plan, it's driving me crazy. I signed up for this plan back in August 2020, and ever since then, it's been nothing but trouble. I've called their customer service a couple of times to complain about the problems I'm facing with Getmecare health plan. Last year, I went to the hospital in New Mexico, and guess what? I had to pay for a bunch of stuff out of my own pocket. I kept calling them, hoping for some help with my plan, but it felt like I was talking to a brick wall. I even had law enforcement and other people witnessing my calls, so they can vouch for me reaching out for assistance with my coverage.
One time, I spoke to a customer service rep, and they had the audacity to tell me that my bills weren't even submitted to the insurance company. Can you believe that? So, I called them up again, this time to talk about my radiology bills. I needed answers, man.
I need to know why the heck Getmecare health plan ain't covering all my doctor bills and hospital bills. I'm shelling out over $200.00 every month for this plan, and I was even paying for life insurance on top of that. But you know what? I got so fed up that I canceled my life insurance policy. Now, Getmecare health plan keeps deducting money from my checking account, but I ain't seeing no coverage for my hospital bills in Albuquerque, New Mexico. And it ain't just the hospital bills, man. There are other bills that they haven't paid for either. I even sent them an email, and within a minute or two, I got a call from some unknown number. Then, they sent me an email saying they'll forward my complaint to the right department. Like, what the heck?
I'm so confused, man. When I first contacted Getmecare health plan about insurance coverage in another state, this lady customer service rep had the nerve to tell me that they can't cover me in the state I'm currently living in. But get this, they said they would cover New Mexico. So, I went ahead and signed up for other insurances just so I could get coverage in my current state. And now, Getmecare health plan sends me an explanation of benefits in the mail, saying they covered one bill from my current state, but they won't cover my bills from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I mean, come on, man! That's what they said in the explanation of benefits they sent me. The only thing they did pay for was a radiology bill, but guess what? I had already paid for it myself in 2020, and then the insurance company decided to pay for it afterwards. Like, what's up with that?
Back in 2020, I had a conversation with a lady customer service rep from Getmecare insurance company, and we talked about paying the radiology bill because the hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico sent it to a collection agency. The radiology folks in New Mexico hadn't heard anything from the insurance company, and I was tired of waiting, so I just paid for it myself.
Let me tell you, Getmecare ain't no reliable source, man. I'm canceling my insurance policy this year. And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, I received an email from Amanda Flores in the customer service department, and she straight up told me that there ain't no benefit on my policy for radiology. Well, if there ain't no benefit, then why the heck did Getmecare pay for my radiology bill after I already did? This company is a mess, man. And by the way, they also go by the name Tobias and associates. So, watch out, folks.
Disappointing Experience with Get Me Healthcare: Misleading Information and Poor Customer Service
I was not satisfied with the healthcare plan my wife and I had, so I went on the Obamacare website. I got transferred to an insurance broker named Daniel Colongne. He was really nice and explained to me about the open enrollment period. He said I couldn't sign up until that time came. In the meantime, he suggested a short-term plan that he said was much better than what I had, which was probably true. But I was hesitant to make changes without talking to my wife first, so I decided not to rush things.
The next day, Daniel called us and we told him that our old insurance company had already taken our September premium out of our account. My wife and I thought that if we started coverage in October, we wouldn't be charged a premium by this new company, Get Me Healthcare, until October when our coverage would begin. Maybe there was some confusion between us on this point. But what's clear is that Mr. Colongne told me multiple times that I could cancel this policy within 30 days for any reason. He also assured me that I could easily contact them if I had any questions. Well, surprise, surprise. The next day, a new premium was taken out of my account.
No problem, I thought. I'll just call the number he gave me and sort this out. So I called. Several times. But all I got was a recorded message saying how important my business was and asking me to leave a message after the beep. But the beep never came. Instead, I got disconnected. This happened multiple times. So I went online and found the direct number for Get Me Healthcare. I called again and got the same recording and the same result. But I kept trying. Eventually, I got through to a person named Zachary. I explained the situation to him and he said the only thing I could do was cancel the policy. I told him I would talk to my wife and get back to him.
After discussing things with my wife and reading some not-so-great reviews about this company online, I decided to find a local broker that we could meet face to face and go to directly. So now all I needed to do was cancel this policy. Again, I had trouble reaching anyone until I got a bit angry and demanded a call back. Finally, Mr. Colonge called me back. But now he claimed that I was told I could only make "changes" to the policy within 30 days. He said I could cancel in November and December, but I wouldn't get my money back for October! Please keep in mind that I'm writing this on September 11th. So as you can see, I haven't used any coverage on this plan.
I'm ashamed to say that we got into a heated argument during our conversation. At one point, he even accused me of being dishonest when I said I didn't know I would have to pay a month in advance. He claimed to have done me a great favor and said I was just looking for a way out. In short, I told him I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau and ended the call. Shortly after, I received a call from Zachary at the office of Get Me Healthcare and we discussed what had happened. He assured me that I would receive a refund in 10 to 12 business days, and I hope that's true.
Based on my experience, I can say that the negative reviews I've seen are accurate. This isn't the first time an agent has told me I have the right to cancel a policy for any reason within thirty days, so I believe it's true. It just seems to me that once money changes hands, you'll find out what you've actually bought, perhaps too late. That's exactly why I've decided to find a local agent, and I suggest you do the same.
Get Me Healthcare Complaints 11
Unauthorized Monthly Charges
After doing a full 5-year audit. I found an unauthorized and mystery monthly charge coming out of my checking account. Trying to find more information about the charge. I found that google search goes to healthcare that is run by the government(this is how the charge has been missed it is disguised like my monthly premium from the state.) I confirmed with my provider and found that this charge is not a part of my HealthPlan. It has been disguised as my monthly premiums but is not. I can find no contract information on the Company GETMECARE and the healthcare site that.
Desired outcome: Refund all premiums paid...This is a fee I didn't authorize
Misleading Job Posting and Wasted Time: My Disappointing Experience with Get Me Healthcare
I'm actually thinking about contacting a lawyer to see if I can sue these folks for false advertising on a job posting. It's never a good sign when you interview with a company and right off the bat, they start lying. I mean, seriously, their customer service job posting said the minimum salary was $40k. But during the interview, they tell me it's only $15 an hour. What a load of baloney!
And to make matters worse, this one guy comes up to me and starts talking about selling stuff. Like, hello? I didn't even apply for a sales position! If they're lying to potential employees, then I definitely wouldn't trust them enough to buy anything from them. It's just a big waste of time, you know? They made me sit there and write my whole resume on paper, even though they already had it on file. Like, seriously, what's the point?
Overall, I'm just really disappointed with my experience with Get Me Healthcare. They totally misled me with false promises and wasted my precious time. It's just not cool, man.
Beware of Get Me Healthcare: Scamming Customers with Sneaky Policies and False Charges
So, let me tell you about my experience with Get Me Healthcare. These guys sold me a policy through the marketplace that was supposed to be free. Can you believe it? But here's the thing, the insurance guy tricked me into buying a supplemental policy and made me think that BCBS of Al was going to cost me a whopping $250 every month. Can you imagine my shock?
Well, I decided to take matters into my own hands and called BCBS to cancel my policy. And guess what? When I asked for a refund on the payment we made for June, the BCBS representative dropped a bombshell on me. They said my plan was actually free! Can you believe the nerve of these people? I was absolutely furious.
But wait, there's more. Get this, they also sneaked in a life insurance policy worth a staggering $300,000. Can you believe that? I never even asked for anything more than a simple health care plan and dental coverage. It's like they were trying to rob me blind, and they knew exactly what they were doing. It's despicable, really.
And you know what's even worse? The BCBS representative I spoke to said that this kind of thing is becoming a real problem. Who knows how many innocent people they're robbing every single day? It's just not right, I tell you. I wouldn't trust this company as far as I could throw them.

Beware of Suspicious Healthcare.gov Number: Unprofessional Agents and Shady Practices
So, I was searching on Google and accidentally typed in Healthcare.gov instead of going directly to the site. Silly mistake, I know. But hey, we're all human, right? Anyway, I clicked on the number that popped up on the page and got connected to an agent. Gotta say, the guy sounded pretty legit and professional at first. My gut feeling started to kick in, though.
He mentioned that I would have to pay a $100 fee, and then there would be a premium to take care of. He kept insisting that his company was a sister company to bluecross, but that just didn't make any sense to me. Something seemed off. So, right in the middle of the conversation, I decided to cancel my application. I mean, as a customer, don't I have the right to change my mind?
Well, they transferred me to someone higher up, and let me tell you, this guy was far from professional. He started being all sarcastic and yelling at me, asking why I heard or why I would even think of canceling. I mean, seriously? That's not how you treat customers. So, you know what I did? I closed my credit card and froze all of my credit reports. Better safe than sorry, right?
I decided to call the official Healthcare number just to be sure, and guess what? Even their agent said it sounded suspicious. That just confirmed my doubts. I mean, who wants to deal with all this shady stuff? So, please, please be careful if you come across this website. I still have my doubts, and I think it's better to be safe than sorry. That's all I wanted to say. Take care, folks!
Questionable Treatment and Refund Issues: A Review of Tobias, The Big G, or Get My Health Care
I've never been treated the way Alamando (I think that was his name) treated me. I don't care whether the company name is Tobias, The Big G, or get my health care, it's a very questionable operation. After reading reviews, I felt uncomfortable and decided to cancel. I tried to get hold of Zachary Levine twice with no contact. Then I got hold of an Alamando. He was totally rude and kept me on the phone at least 20 minutes arguing to finally reveal that I couldn't get my refund through them. Only after threatening him with reporting him to Florida Blue, the Insurance Commission, and the Government, did he finally give me a number to get my refund ***612. Please read all the reviews. After talking to him more red flags went up. I still am going to pursue this, only because of the innocent victims that these people have hurt.
Beware of Get Me Healthcare: Scam Artists Taking Advantage of Innocent Customers!
This company, Get Me Healthcare, is just a bunch of scam artists! I got pressured by this guy named Anthony at The Market place to sign up for what he called a supplement plan. He told me that this plan would cover any deductible or out-of-pocket expenses and I would get a refund as long as I sent in the receipts. So, thinking I was getting a good deal, I paid an extra $260.00 every month for this so-called peace of mind.
But guess what? The first time I tried to make a claim, they told me that this plan wasn't actually what I thought it was. It only covered two doctor's visits and one X-ray, and that's it! Can you believe that? I was so mad! So, I called up this lady named Jannell at Get Me Care, and she told me that if I wanted to, I could cancel the plan. But that's all she could do for me. No refund, no nothing. Can you imagine? They can just lie to you and take all the money you've paid them!
And get this, when I confronted Jannell about the guy who sold me the plan, she had the audacity to say that he had nothing to do with Get Me Care! Can you believe the nerve of these people? They're all a bunch of crooks, I'm telling you! Don't ever buy anything from them unless you enjoy throwing your money away!
I'm so frustrated with this whole situation. I trusted these people and they completely took advantage of me. It's just not right. I hope nobody else falls for their tricks and gets scammed like I did. Stay away from Get Me Healthcare, folks! They're nothing but a bunch of liars and thieves!
Aggressive and Rude Customer Service Experience with Get Me Healthcare: Beware of Stereotyping and Inadequate Coverage
I called up Get Me Healthcare to inquire about why the policy I signed up for back in March 2021 wasn't canceled as I had requested in April 21. When I got through, I was connected with a guy named Steve. Let me tell you, he was one aggressive and rude individual. It seemed like he automatically assumed that I had a terrible memory or something. He had the audacity to suggest that folks in their 50s and 60s often forget to make important calls, as if I fell into that category. I mean, seriously? He was basically stereotyping people in my age group as having memory lapses.
To make matters worse, after looking into the situation, it became clear that another representative had failed to do their job properly. On top of that, they set me up with insurance that didn't even cover the things I needed. I wouldn't recommend this agent to anyone. Not only did he constantly interrupt me, but he also made it incredibly difficult for me to get a word in edgewise. Let me tell you, it was like pulling teeth just to get him to listen.
My advice to anyone considering using Get Me Healthcare is to do your homework first. Don't just blindly trust them to provide you with the right coverage. And let me tell you, if I had the option to rate Steve's performance lower than one, I would have done it in a heartbeat. We should be treating potential and existing customers with care and understanding, not making assumptions about what we think they need.
Disastrous Experience with Health Insurance: False Promises, Lack of Communication, and Zero Customer Support
If ya take a gander at them reviews, ya see all these folks who just hopped on the bandwagon. They're all jazzed up and pumped 'cause they reckon they got themselves some top-notch health insurance. BUT, let me tell ya, the folks who actually try to use that insurance, they realize it's a load of rubbish. Them are the real reviews ya wanna pay attention to!
So, a few days back, in a moment of weakness, I went ahead and signed up for this thing. And what do I get? Some mighty strange emails about stuff I never even asked for or signed up for in the first place. And guess what? Not a single email about my actual insurance, which was supposed to kick in the very next day. Can ya believe it? I sure can't.
Now, I was told I had a whole 30 days to cancel if I wanted to. But after siftin' through these reviews, I can see I made a colossal blunder by hitchin' my wagon to this here company. And let me tell ya, tryin' to get someone on the phone? It's like tryin' to find a needle in a haystack. I've made a good dozen or so calls, left multiple messages beggin' for a call back, and what do I get? Nada. Zilch. Zero response.
I ain't sittin' around twiddlin' my thumbs, though. Oh no, sir! I done gone and applied with my bank to dispute this chargeback and block these jokers from ever takin' another dime from me. They ain't gettin' away with this, no siree!
Terrible and Unprofessional: A Nightmare Experience with Get Me Healthcare
This company, Get Me Healthcare, is absolutely terrible. They are so disorganized and unprofessional, it's unbelievable. They are also dishonest and treat their customers in a completely inhumane way. They try to push a bundled policy on you that charges extra money, even though they promised they wouldn't. And once you sign up, good luck trying to reach your original agent. Their customer service desk is a complete mess, and it seems like they purposely try to confuse and humiliate you.
The worst part is that they have this terrible attitude towards their customers. They constantly lie to you and make you feel like you're the one at fault. It's ridiculous! And if you want to cancel that additional life insurance they tricked you into getting, be prepared to waste hours on hold and waiting for them to call you back, which they rarely do.
I've had the misfortune of speaking to 11 different employees at their front desk, and let me tell you, it's been a nightmare. And don't even get me started on the Adroit Rx administrator for NGL. They are even worse! I paid for coverage on May 28th, and here we are on June 15th, and I still don't have any coverage. I've called 13 different agents, and none of them seem to be doing their job. They don't take any responsibility for their mistakes and don't deliver on their promises.
I could go on and on about the problems I've had with this company. From eligibility issues to problems with group numbers, it's been a complete disaster. I honestly think this whole thing is a scam, and I'm not going to let them get away with it. I'm going to report them to the BBB and any other organization that will listen. My advice to you is to stay far away from Get Me Healthcare. They are nothing but trouble.
Beware of Get Me Healthcare: Deceptive Practices and Lack of Integrity
I recently tried out Get Me Healthcare (getmehealthcare.com) and I have to say, I was not impressed. They advertise low rates of around $300.00 for medical insurance, which seemed appealing to me as I was looking for an affordable option. However, my experience with them was far from satisfactory.
First of all, they rushed me through the application process without giving me much time to review the details. I agreed to proceed, thinking that I could cancel if I changed my mind. But to my surprise, they immediately charged me $426.00 without any warning or explanation. I was taken aback by this sudden charge and it left a bad taste in my mouth.
To address my concerns, I tried reaching out to their customer service by phone. However, they never answered my calls. It was frustrating not being able to speak to a representative and get the answers I needed. Eventually, I found a phone number connected to the charge on my account. When I finally got through to someone, they assured me that they would cancel my account and even claimed to have sent me an email confirming the cancellation. However, I never received any such email, which made me doubt their credibility.
I highly doubt that they will refund the money they charged me, and this whole experience has left me feeling deceived and cheated. It's important to note that you should always go through the marketplace to obtain Obamacare, as they are the trusted source for reliable insurance options. In fact, I reported Get Me Healthcare to fraud on identitytheft.com, as I believe their practices are unethical.
Upon further investigation, I discovered that Get Me Healthcare is actually Adroit Health Group, a company with an F rating on BBB (Better Business Bureau). This revelation only confirmed my suspicions about their lack of integrity. Additionally, Providence Insurance informed me that they receive numerous complaints about companies like Get Me Healthcare.
It's time to put an end to these deceitful businesses. Don't fall for their friendly demeanor, as they are corrupt and will avoid any further communication once they have your money. I urge everyone to steer clear of Get Me Healthcare and opt for a more reputable and trustworthy insurance provider.
Beware of Unprofessional Agent at getmehealthcare.com - Proceed with Caution!
I gotta say, shopping for healthcare can be a real pain, especially for us older folks. I decided to give getcoveredillinois.gov a shot, thinking it would be a good starting point. Boy, was I wrong! After signing up, my phone started blowing up with calls from insurance companies left and right. I had no idea who to trust or which one to choose.
Then, out of the blue, I got a call from getmehealthcare.com. Let me tell you, the agent I spoke to was a real piece of work. It all started off innocently enough, with the usual questions about my existing conditions. I even went ahead and gave this guy named Antonio my credit card number. But as soon as I started having second thoughts and hesitated to sign on the dotted line, he completely lost it.
This dude began yelling at me, can you believe it? I mean, who does that? I politely asked him to calm down and answer a few more questions I had, but he just kept talking over me and pressuring me to make a decision. That's when I knew I had to put an end to this madness. I hung up on him, no questions asked.
Now, I'm keeping a close eye on my bank account, just to make sure nothing fishy is going on. All I wanted was a little more time to research the plan they suggested, called Pivot Health, and compare it to other options. Is that too much to ask? I don't think so.
Let me tell you, I won't stand for that kind of behavior. It's just not right. I may be getting up there in age, but I still know how to stand my ground. So, if you're thinking about using getmehealthcare.com, I'd proceed with caution. You never know what kind of agent you might end up dealing with.
