Got some crazy EVPs. Started out silly and I asked what we should cook and it said "African." Then it got down to business. Said "hide" numerous times and when I asked from who, it said "georgetta", "thief" and "dollar". Hairs on my arms went through waves of standing on end. Probably should not EVP your own house if you're easily scared like me and my wife! She won't let me leave the room while she takes a nap now haha

It's been about a month since I did the EVP's in the house. Well my wife came home and found part of a weave in our entryway as she walked into the house. Someone broke in. We believe our dog scared them off because nothing was stolen. Probably why there they lost their hair as well. We called the cops and presented the hair as evidence. They said they couldn't do anything since there was nothing stolen but to keep the hair. Now the EVP's are making sense. "African" "thief" "dollar" "hide" Total believer now. We're intending to do another EVP session to thank the spirit for its warning. We did some EVP's outside and I think it was just spouting random words but I really believe a spirit in our house was using the app to connect with us.

I am a born medium. It knows electromagnetically what I naturally know. I learn to interpret very subtle signals. It's a matter of tuning in. This app hopefully won't make me lazy. Story, one day. Me and son took bike ride to pier where an amphitheater is set up. Behind us coming up the stairs zigzag fashion were 3 ppl. I felt some awful thing was attached to one of them. We turned on the machine. The radar showed a ghost behind then zigzagging up with them. We watched the radar in amazement. We wanted to see just how far it would go. The radar continued till they got to us and passed by. Lol we watched the whole time along with my inner sight. Another story. Sometimes for fun when we bike ride I will tune in and see who is around. So after downloading this I decided to bring this along on the bike. I will ask, who's around, and get the word John or something right away. Then turn the machine on and John shows up too. I like when I can jump the gun on it, then turn it on and it gets the same thing. Different names come up around a civil war cemetery that was moved but remnant energies remain. I like it. It speaks the same language as mediums.

Major skeptic here but also a believer. Like any newbie I asked it the usual questions using the evp feature. "who are you" "can you make your presence known" there were plenty of words that were said but I also wanted them to mean something at the same time. Like "shelf, university, roll, go." etc didn't have much meaning to me. But, the evp captured "Mercedes" aka "mercy" which is my aunt's name who was a nun, she died before I was born and everyone on that side of the family swear up and down that I look just like her. The evp also captured "hate, go" and my friend who has a similar app on her phone caught "mad" at the same time when I was trying to communicate with a significant number to me. "222" I'm not psycho like Jim carey in the movie, the number 23, I just notice this number more than I do
Others and don't know the meaning behind it. As soon as I heard that I was a little spooked. Then I started to sing a song called "only you" by the platters. I have to admit I was skeptical of this app at first.
And this "ghost" or whatever it is "tells" me that I am a SKEPTICAL JUDGE often. My experience with this thing,
Is both amusing and disturbing. "It" does not like to answer questions about itself or anyone else for that matter. "It" told me
to be SILENT, and STOP, when I asked "it" questions.
Said it liked PEEPING into WINDOWS; And HEARING NEIGHBORHOOD. What the heck is this?
"IT" often describes things outside; and at the back of my house
accurately, but then will go on and ramble off a list of names of people I have never heard of. I threw a half of a cabbage out for the deer to eat a day or so before I bought the app. The cabbage landed near a bush. When I had the screen turned on on 2 days later first thing it said was CABBAGE BUSH. Can someone explain that one to me?
" IT" had been " talking" one day
about ANTICIPATING a BIRTH; and PREGNANCY, and someone's SEXY BELLY. My neighbor is due in June. I cannot view my backyard ever again the same way. At least it explains why I get shivers up my spine when in the backyard at night. I always "feel" as if someone is about to grab me from behind. I have never had a problem being out at night in the dark before.

First of all, this app is just a program. It’s all code, cleverly written with a slick user interface. There are no EMF meters or special tools found in an iPhone. You have a magnetometer, an accelerometer, a microphone, camera and a host of cellular and WiFi capable parts. This app uses those sensors to put stuff on the screen and it makes little lights and sounds go off. It’s all fake results, based on minor fluctuations and movements. If you move your phone around, the accelerometer produces a result. You speak, the mic produces a result. Get it? And the library of words is randomly pulled from a database. If you talk, the mic hears what you’re saying and consults the database to produce fake conversations. Spirits cannot access this device, nor would they want to. So, this is for entertainment only. However, if you open yourself up to the spirit world, you are going to get a nasty surprise. These unclean spirits do exist and will attach themselves to you. They don’t need to get into an iPhone. They want to get around you and on you. And they’ll bring more spirits into a home that has invited them. DO NOT PLAY AROUND WITH THAT REALM. And if you already have and are overwhelmed, pray for God to help you.

EVP spews out at least 3 words a minute even on low sensitivity. After analyzing I have noted a pattern: Pronouns, every day household objects, and everyday struggles (money, homework, work). Of course the end user would feel this is relatable to them. However, after analysis, only 10 out of 350 words captured remotely applied to me. Here is a sample of outputs "Becky, frightened, table, desk, daylight, regret."

Ok cool, never known a Becky. I have a desk and a table; I have felt frightened and regret before. 4/5 of those words are basic descriptors and everyday household objects anyone could relate to.

There is no information given on the algorithm for forming words. Apparently "spirits" can manipulate the phones sensors to make letters line up to form words. I don't understand how it's an "EVP" when there is no audio analysis being performed. Usually paranormal voices use white noise to form words, and I am not convinced that any part of this is legitimate software.

I set a SB-7 spirit Box next to the P-EVP app and ran both simultaneously. While the M2 app was spewing out loads of "paranormal words", the SB-7 had no voices come through while sweeping. This whole app is a hoax, and preys on gullible consumers.

I do believe in spirits, and this app just stands justice to my beliefs. My first encounter was at home.

My grandfather had passed a few days prior to when I got Ghost Hunter M2. I booted up the app & instantly went to the EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) tool. The first word I got out was grandfather.

I hadn't even said anything about my grandfather that the app could pick out through the microphone. But it spoke grandfather. The other words it spoke had no connection, though.

My next encounter happened at my passed grandfather's home. We were there, going through his things. I had a can of Coca-Cola on a table. Having success with the EVP tool, I had it on in the house. I went to get a sip of the pop when the EVP spoke drink. I hadn't said anything. How would the app know?

My latest encounter is weird. I was again using the EVP. I let it run, as I had to go to the restroom. The app spoke many random words, but the EVP said pee while I was in the restroom. What sort of app would know that!?

Overall, the app is truly remarkable. I do not care if someone thinks my encounters are crazy & foolish or if the developers are laughing at the encounters. I believe this app 's tools genuinely work. 5/5 all the way. Worth the 99 cents!

I'm a huge fan of Ghost Hunters on the SyFi network, if you haven't watched it I highly recommend it, it will teach you a lot about paranormal investigations. I've also started performing my own paranormal investigations, mostly in my town. At first I was a bit skeptical about a "ghost hunting toolkit." This app actually contains 5 separate tools a emf meter, an audio detector, a geoscope, a evp instrument, and a spacial tool. I don't really understand how to use the spacial tool and the evp tool isn't what I would call an traditional evp tool. The evp tool is basically an energy pattern traducer, much like ovilus tool sometimes used on the Ghost Lab series. What I liked about this app is that I can actually test the tools, so I know they aren't fake. All in all I would say its definitely worth the .99 cents.
I've had some interesting occurrences with the evp tool. One in particular was pretty neat. I was letting it run and it said a few words I thought to be random, among then it said "dismiss" and "friday". A few minutes later my friend Bobbi called and while I was talking it said "Roberta" (which is her real name). She was telling me how she was laid off from her position of 15 years just last friday. The hairs on my arms stood on end.

I’ve had this app for many years and open it up occasionally when I’m bored. Wasn’t too sure if it really worked until this happened.

Went on vacation a while back to my moms to see her new house, and got this out just for fun one night. It actually started making sense and it sounded like it might’ve been the previous owner who died in the house. Then, it kept repeating, “find, treasure, follow”. It was so persistent we finally decided to follow the dots and go on a treasure hunt lol Bc why not lol

Me, my mom, and my 2 boys ended up half emptying out a walk in closet. It took about an hour, but we found a hidden hole in the wall under a shelf, which allowed for a floor board to be moved...and I kid you not we actually found something! It was a poster in perfect condition, in original packaging, from the 1980s with Disney characters and comic characters and signed by some artists. We didn’t find gold or win the lottery bc it was just a print, but it was worth a little bit from what I found online (though we decided not to sell it).

My mom and I were talking about this tonight and I just wanted to share this really cool, unique, story with everyone. It sounds absolutely bonkers, but it definitely convinced me the app works and it made for an awesome, fun, family memory.

Last time I used this app I offered to the "ghost" to sit down and talk and I also offered some coffe (because I was drinking coffe), the reason I offered was it would be rude not to ask. The app replied yes, asked what else was needed, the reply came saying "sugar".
Coincidence? Some people might say yes, and I have to respect, some people would say no, and I would have to respect too.
My point is if you download this app with the intentions of changing your life and make you a believer from the night to the day, then this app is a fake.
If you believe already in life after death. Then this app might help a bit, but don't put your all your trust in it, reserve the fact that electromagnetic fields are everywhere and they will bring "noise" into your investigations.
The use for entertainment in the instructions, this app was never tested as it should, and paranormal is a subject that people don't always agree on, is like UFOs or other subjects like that, so it would be reckless by the vendors to say "yeah this works 100% guarantee... See what I mean? So, I believe it works sometimes, it has to be improved, that is another fact. I give 5 stars because it's user friendly, interface is interesting (better than others I tried in the past) and it worked once with good results for me anyways. :) Be happy, enjoy and respect others beliefs and opinions :)

I’ve always been weary of ghosts and ghost hunting app. The unknown is scary, and sharing space with entities you can’t see is right up there on the horror list.

Well my girlfriend moved into a new apartment and she noticed her cat was acting strange. I assured her she was just acclimating to her new surroundings and she’d settle down. It seemed daily she had a new story to share.

So we downloaded this app. Before I get into the good, I will say, it’s a very confusing app. A lot of the tools seem too similar for a basic novice to decipher what they actually do. A video tutorial for each tool would be perfect, as the text explanation to the basic user, whom I can only assume is your general consumer, is a little too vague.

The tool I’m most familiar with was EVP, so we used it. It cycles through a bunch of letters then picks up on the environment and speaks certain words at you, and this where the fun started.

While watching TV, my girlfriend insisted someone was at the door looking at her through the glass. I kept trying to ease her out of it, but she wanted to use the app so we put it on. About a minute in the app spoke.. “LACE”. We looked at the door, and sure enough, she has a lace curtain over the window. Before we could even look back at the app we heard it say, “WATCHING”. Creeped out.

This morning while my girlfriend was in the shower, I noticed the cat staring at me intently. So I put the app on. My girlfriend is playing music so I figured it would be too noisy for it to work. After a minute or so it said “DANCE”.

I’m sold.

I was skeptical but on numerous occasions this app has literally freaked me completely out! For example one particular noteworthy time, I was bartending and we had just opened no one was in the cigar lounge yet and there are only two doors in the room, no windows. I
Looked through the glass from the main restaurant into the cigar room and I saw a man! Roughly 200lbs wearing a blue and white button up collared shirt and dark brown hair. Surprisingly I went directly to where he was sitting it didn't take me but 10 seconds to walk into the room he was in and yet he had vanished! The leather sofa he was sitting on wasn't so much as indented or warmed! I immediately grabbed my phone and opened this app! I used the scanner radar feature and followed the faint trail until it got stronger red! I had followed this entity upstairs into the rafters of the "catwalk" where earlier in the morning another server said she had gone up there to grab some plastic cups to restock and the light was off so she turned them on and went inside the catwalk area where she claimed something whistled at her really loud! And no one else was up there with her! The device said "Mark" and come to find out there was a person who had died in the restaurant, no one knew his name but lots of other servers/managers have other spooky stories of hearing their name screamed when they are the last person closing the restaurant or having something unseen grab their hair while walking through a dark section of the restaurant!

I have so many other instances where this app has served I should seriously start a blog!

I went on Facebook and saw my friend posted about this app saying something the app was so real and told a story about the app and her phone call so I go to the play store and buy it. I then go through the reviews to read the stories I'm not sure if I want to open this app or not it I've had some paranormal things happen to me at ever house I've lived in besides my parents which is where I just recently moved into. I guess maybe when I'm with a friend that I lived with we will go by one of our old houses that we lived in and try it. This past house was scary, we moved into it as is and there was satanic drawings and writings on the walls. One time I was waiting forum friend inside but at the front door and he also was inside I then said are you ready and he say yes one second. He walks to my room says my lights flicker and he heard my name in a very light grassy whisper while the lights were flashing. The next house I lived in everybody had moved out after a period of time so I went in waiting for the roommates that lived there after me which they just moved out so it was a empty house with a few left behind belongings I was there earlier that day and opened a crawl space to see what was behind the screwed door upstairs I put it back then while I was waiting for a friend I heard two bangs and a screech just like when I opened the door earlier then I run outside cus I get terrified I wait in my car then the top light flickers once and the downstairs living room 2 times and nobody is there! I'm waiting for the last renters as they were already moved out so I'm paranoid to open the app as I believe there is a ghost that is or has followed me from the satanic house with drawings on it...

I knew the EMF reader worked because I tested it right away. I was skeptical of the "ghost radar" at first, because it seemed like I was constantly surrounded by ghosts. Then I read about it and realized that it's not picking up on "ghosts" per say, but energy fluctuations in the room that MIGHT indicate something paranormal. Finally, and most significant, is the EVP function. Yes, many of the words are random, especially when not used consistently. The concept is, a ghost can manipulate the circuitry in the phone to form words. Maybe it takes time for a ghost to figure that out! I honestly found that slowly those random words became more and more relevant as time went on. I believe it's a progressive thing. I will also say that my apartment was always quiet except for the traffic outside. I played with this app almost every night for a week or two, and every night things got progressively worse (or better, depending on how you look at it). I believe that any entity floating around, if they do exist, will seek out those who attempt to communicate with them. That takes time. By the end of a two week period, I was laying there reading, when I heard scuffling in the bathroom. I heard a knock on the bedroom door near the bathroom, and then a hard knock on the closet door in the hallway directly in front of me. It was almost as if something started in the restroom and quickly walked out, down the hallway, and stopped right in front of me, making noises all the way. I was alone. I slowed down my use of this app the next evening, and the knocks and other sounds diminished as time went by. Do I believe in all this? I still don't know, but my experience with this app raised more questions than it satisfied, and that's a good thing. This may or may not be as accurate or sensitive as the real dedicated units, but it does work. Give it time, open yourself up, and be patient.

Don't know what happened to the review I wrote but it's not on here. I think this is the real deal. My house has activity including my yard. I have security cameras that have night vision. I have over 350+ videos of orbs, shadows, mists, light anomalies, poltergeist activity etc. so I have been wanting to find something that could tell me this is not just dust. So I downloaded this and turned it on outside (not using it in my house) and the first words were something I say to my dogs. I call them bugarbutts (in a cute way) and it said bugar and then butt. At first I didn't get it. It was so odd. The emf detector was over 100. And it kept picking up things on the sweep. When I muttered I don't know what you're talking about. It said "Willis". And I was thinking like a name of a person and then I remembered that saying from the show "Diff'rent strokes" "don't know what you're talking about Willis." That's when I kinda freaked and went inside. A hour or so later I came back out and the same thing happened. Emf at 100-101 - blips on the sweeps everywhere In the yard and words - isobel, observe and star. The chairs that swivel in my back yard were all turned toward the house which they weren't before and are never. And star- well I have a bunch of cool stars on my back fence. Some are made out of antique railroad spikes. The observe word made me freak and I turned it off and came in. I don't know but I assumed this was a game for entertainment since it says entertainment- but all the words could just be a coincidence - and even the I don't know what you're talking about Willis could be a programmed response. But the the bugarbutts- the only person that has said this too or knows it is my husband. So I'm a little on the fence but I think this could be the real deal. Question tho- the colored blips on the sweep- have had red, yellow and green. Is this to show distance away by color red being further away or is this showing bad energy? If anyone knows please let me know. My security cameras showed activity in the backyard where the sweeps were picking up blips both times I used it last night. Because I checked them when I went in and there are mists, light anomalies and orbs all over the place. In the same areas where the sweeps where showing. And I have checked that footage lately and it's been unusually still. So I don't know but it seems like this is real.
***Update. I have had this for a year. Would turn it on from time to time. It would pick up on words and names that are people I know. But I went on a ghost hunt tour with friends a couple weekends ago. Every time it spit out a word it had something relevant to say. It said a name and labor- well our tour guide is preggers and about to give birth and that is the name of her baby. And all the words it said which was non stop over the 4 hour+ tour at a lake near my house it had something to do with something happening to someone in the group - when they weren’t anywhere around me to know what it said. AND it talked about the dead people that are known to have died there and where. And the serial killers that have dumped bodies there. It was so unbelievable I will never doubt it again. The guides all said this is the best one for the iPhone. And they totally trust this app. So I was up on the fence for a long time that it was just saying something every now and then that was programmed. But this is for real - as real as it gets. I don’t doubt it anymore. I think I was to scared to actually believe in it before. Even tho the words that came out the first time I used it were backed up with an orb on my security camera and it’s something no one else would have ever said or have known. This is for real and real as it gets. It is actually saying exactly what a spirit is saying. I’m still a little weirded out and don’t use it in my house very much. Which my house has had a lot of activity as of late. Way more than normal and a lot of poltergeist type activity. So I may use it inside more. But wow - this thing is spot on. Every time.

You have to be a [censored] to believe in this thing. I used the EVP session and first, none of the answers even related to my questions and second, I literally got responses like "Elvis", "underwear" and "toilet paper".
This just spits out random words and the user makes it into something it's not. Don't believe the hype and save your money!

Are you all out of your ever lovin minds? Have you ever had any experience in this at all? Please know that this is so fake. The EVP just randomly throws out these stupid words and the way it's done is do not at all creepy or connected. I wanna talk to some real ghosts! If you do too, definitely do not get this. I'm very puzzled how a single person wrote a good review!

Evp is suppose to answer question you ask a spirit.I ask and it doesn't answer rite away then it spits put just random words kind of stupid but yet creepy.I hAve a tatoo that says Chicago and it said Illinois on the evp weird. This app is cool if you are slow but for the smart ones it's just random words it like to say that is programmed into the app I want my dollar back

I'm changing my original review. After using it I saw the same words over and over... "Ask"... "New Jersey"..."Fan". So, I decided to test the listening capabilities by COVERING the Mic, you can't hear crap on an iPhone when u do that. I waited 30 sec. Random words kept coming in, even with the Mic covered! LOL! It should be blank! Let's see how long this review stays up!

I believe in ghosts and am an avid watcher of ghostadventures on scify. However, this app is not the real thing. None of questions get answered and it says one word at a time which anyone can interpret anyway they chose. This does not prove anything. On top of that I dont have a mic on my iPod touch. I'm going to buy a mic and the next best rated Evp app and see how that works.

This app is entertainment only. I've had 20 words captured in EVP and the voice is the same for each word spoken.. I did EVPs at home and at a shopping center parking lot and had same voice speaking in both locations. All the words were crystal clear and if you've ever watched ghost hunters, you know 99% of audio caught is usually unidentifiable.. The app is fun, but certainly not real.

A horrible epic piece of crap. Nothing on here works, it can't trick anyone. Evp is a kind of recording therefore every word would not be said the same. Stupid and a waste of time. Do not buy. I did and that's a whole song I could have gotten instead. Also there is this stupid lightning sound that might I add you can't turn off, and it interferes with everything you do. Worst app I have come across by far!

I used the app today on my lunch break. Some strange coincidences, evp said my name and spotted a lady in a "cherry dress". Started to think it was kind of cool and 100% real, until i tried an evp session in a known haunted house and it began saying completely random words that had nothing to do with the area like "new hampshire" "cobweb" and "difficult". My honest opinion is that the app gets some lucky guesses, but is fake and only for entertainment. But what do you expect for .99 cents?

Don't be fooled by the description making it sound like it's anything like real ghost hunters would use. In fact after you download it it says for entertainment purposes only. It spouts off names, wierd names that may not exist, some most likely associated with your contact list, the day if the week listed on your phone- it comes out with 1 million crazy names and it talks about things that absolutely could have nothing to do with your life... like a basement when I live in a condo in California and never had a basement It's a waste of money time and battery power!

I guess if you throw enough words out there a few will stick. It's like fortune teller giving you initials...you can always tie it to someone or something if you want to bad enough. There were a few minor, minor coincidences with the Evp. However, in less than a few hours of running (@ different times throughout the day and night), it produced about 150 words. Of those, maybe 7, or 10 if I push it could relate to a person I know or something I did. For example, I turned it on while I was cleaning house and I went to the basement to do laundry. The word basement was there. Not very, impressed. Think before you waste time and/or money.

Ok, I know it's supposed to all in fun, but the app presents itself as a valuable ghost hunting tool. However, there's no real application for this app.

I was hoping at least to have an enhanced voice recorder for the "EVP" feature. It's nothing more than a randomly generated word that is supposed to be a 'ghost' speaking through the 'sophisticated algorithm' that allows contact with ghosts on your iPhone. Laughable.

Don't waste your .99 cents. Instead, find a decent enhanced voice recorder that will allow slow-down and waveform manipulation to use as a real EVP audio tool.

This is just a hokey. Already deleted. Wish I could get my .99 cents back!

This app is completely fake. The amounts of "readings" you get it based completely out of a RNG (random number generator) and is also based on movement. If you set your phone down there is rarely any spikes on anything and hardly ANY words that come through the "EVP" but if you start shaking your phone spikes come through like crazy and it'll almost start speaking full sentences. Words fly through and all the spikes and radar go crazy saying there's tons of spiritual activity. It has nothing to do with detecting actual spirits or anything close at all. It is completely random and the more your phone moves the more you get. What's a joke. Don't waste your time or money.

The reviews of this app seemed promising, which is why I decided to purchase it. However, I soon realized that most (if not all) the reviews have got to be complete and utter BS. They're definitely fake. The app seems legit but in reality it's just for entertainment purposes, and it doesn't disclaim that except for in one hidden part of the app. None of the tools are real. All of the stuff it generates is pre-made. Don't even get me STARTED on the EVP. That's undoubtedly the FAKEST part of the entire application. It's randomly generated words. That's it. Any time you receive a word that makes sense, it's merely a coincidence. This sort of thing is not real, nor will it probably ever be. There's no app on this App Store that does what it markets. End of story. This was a complete waste of 99 cents. I'd rather buy Angry Birds.

I was browsing through the apps store and found this one. Why did I buy it? Sorry to all that give it a good review, its beyond lame. The EVP is ridiculous. Anyone that thinks its a ghost is nuts. Its programed to just "blurt out" random words. Last night it caught 17 words, about 5 seconds apart. Supposedly If I were to believe it, then theres a ghost named clyde in my house, or Mickey, heres what he had to say "make, ladybug, move, taste, grow,shoe,email, comfort, prevent, soldier, law, exsist, accompany, catch and seperate. Oh if your wondering why I bought it, my 5 year old begged me because it was about ghosts. Of course its scary to him being 5... to me stupid and Id love my dollar back! One last thing its an app, a program, its not a really K2 meter, or anything like that, there is NO hardware added to you phone/touch/pad.. silly

EVP sessions do not record the list of words anymore. Stuff is showing up and it "senses" words but the "EVP" list is completely grayed out. :( Please fix :(

I used to have this app on my iPhone 5. I was sitting in my den on night, I turned on the recorder and asked: “is there anyone in here with me?” I play it back and a child’s voice replies “Me”. It used to be a good app, but since I got a new iPhone I cannot record anything. I notice the last update was 2 years ago, is there anything to enable the record function?
