I received a text message from Glass Mountain Capital LLC that just gave a phone number and web address. I have never heard of this company before and have never received any physical mailings from them. I have no idea why a debt collector is contacting me when I am up to date with my bills and student loans. If you can't provide an invoice from an originating creator, then cease all communications with me in any form.
Text that I received
Today o received a text stating that you have tried to reach me regarding a debt. I do not have a debt that I'm aware of and I know 100% that your company has not tried to reach me in any way. You can mail the original invoice to me from the original creditor that shows the amount due and ill go from there. If you cannot do this then please end ALL communications with me. Do not text, email or mail me unless it is to provide me this information. And please do not call me at any number listed for any reason. Thank you
I am receiving texts from Glass Mountain Capital LLC with an attempt to collect a debt
I am receiving texts from Glass Mountain Capital LLC with an attempt to collect a debt. I have not received any voice messages or hard copy mail from this company about any debts owed.. I am up to date with my bills and do not owe any company a past due payment. This feels like a SCAM. From what I have read there are others in my same situation or have gone through this before with them. It is unprofessional to text someone about a debt and you would think I would be contacted via mail letting me know which business they are trying to collect a debt from.

This company sent a text message to my phone informing me that I need to make a payment for a debt that I do not have. I have never heard of this company and have never received any correspondence from this company regarding any accounts. This company did not provide any details regarding any outstanding debt. I believe that this is a scam.
Today ***, I received a letter dated *** reference number ***, stating I have a debt with *** account number *** with an outstanding balance of $997.92 from ***. I've never done business with this company, ***., and believe this is a fraudulent account. After reading some of the other reviews, this appears to be a distinct problem with Glass Mountain Capital, LLC and has happened with others previously.
I received several text messages from this company out of the blue recently. The text stated they have been trying to reach me and to click a link to "pay my ***". I have never heard of this company and they are NOT listed on my credit report. I believe that this is a scam as I have NEVER received any type of paper correspondence from them or previous phone calls. Please remove my number from your list and not contact me again.

I have been receiving text from this company recently stating that this is an attempt to collect a debt and to please call [protected]
I have been receiving text from this company recently stating that this is an attempt to collect a debt and to please call [protected]. I have been made aware that my personal information was compromised by the state of Illinois last month so I am very careful who I respond to. I have taken precautions regarding my information and know that my credit is secure and I do not and have not owed any debt to any company. These text are extremely annoying and fraudulent. Please remove my information from your data base as you are mistaken and I consider these texts harassment.

Received mail from this company with my name and address on it claiming a that we owed money for a Phone and Sim card that we did not purchase from the organization or the stated *** company. All of the other information on the forms were incorrect. This is identity theft and fraud. The claimed transaction did not occur.
I continue to receive phone calls from various numbers of this company asking me to verify information but won't tell me why
I continue to receive phone calls from various numbers of this company asking me to verify information but won't tell me why. I have no dealings with this company whatsoever. They refuse to tell me why they are calling and have not mailed anything in writing related to me or any debt. I pay my bills and don't owe anyone anything that hasn't already been resolved so I don't know why they keep calling me. This has to stop! Telling me you have all my information on a phone call but not telling me who you are is less than professional and harassing. If I owed money to someone, they should be sending me a statement in the mail.

On June 17,2021, I received a call from this company saying I owed a debt. They said they had bought the debt from another collection company. Since I owed a small amount to Bank of America, I thought I was paying this debt off in full. I was assured that if I sent this payment I would not owe them anything more. I sent payment by debit card. The money was withdrawn from my account. Now Bank of America says they have no record of receiving this amount and I still owe two more payments.
I received a letter from Glass Mountain Capital LLC that I owed over $9,000 on a Citibank credit card account
I received a letter from Glass Mountain Capital LLC that I owed over $9,000 on a Citibank credit card account. In 2019, I resolved a claim for this same debt with a previous collector/law firm and the three credit agencies by providing them with the Identity Theft Report with the *** that clearly shows this debt was a result of identity theft. The debt was removed from all three of my credit reports and I was not been contacted since then by any collectors. I just checked my credit reports and this debt is not on any of the reports. Why is Glass Mountain Capital trying to collect from me when it has previously been resolved?

I received messages Glass Mountain Capital LLC stating they were attempting to collect a debt. I have no outstanding debts nor have I done any business with Glass Mountain Capital.
I received a text message from this company out of the blue on a Saturday morning
I received a text message from this company out of the blue on a Saturday morning. The text contained a link to click and pay, but provided absolutely no detail about a debt owed. I have never heard of this company and they are NOT listed on my credit report. I feel that this is a scam as I have NEVER received any type of paper correspondence from them or previous phone calls.I would like to either receive a phone call or paper correspondence with information or I will consider this a scam to try to get money. Any creditors that I've ever dealt with have never sent me random text messages with no information attached other that a one number that goes to someone's personal voicemail. Who is this? Please remove my number from your list and explain yourself.

This company called my phone on April 29 asking to speak to me but would not give any information
This company called my phone on April 29 asking to speak to me but would not give any information. I figured they were a scam company do I would not give e my personal details out. I used the phone number to research online and found this company is a debt collector. I have never heard of this company, never done business with this company and do not owe any debt. I have perfect pay histories and have never owed anyone, any company or a collection. This company obviously a scam or attempting to collect on a fraudulent account. In addition, I have never reached anything in writing from this company which adds to my suspicion that this is a scam company trying to collect a fake account. Please stop all collection efforts on this fake account and do not attempt to place it on my credit.

This company has called my work phone number multiple times
This company has called my work phone number multiple times. The first instance my coworker answered (before I arrived at work) when my coworker asked for the number for me to call back they simply told her "Use the number on the caller ID" (Unprofessional, rude) I called them back and let them know they were not allowed to call my business line at all. A week later (today) I received yet ANOTHER call from this company after telling them they were not allowed to call my work number. This is 100% illegal. They do not speak to anyone once you tell them you need more information they just simply hang up on you. But the business practice currently being used is 100% illegal as I have never done business directly with this company, and I have told them to not call my work number and they continue to do so.

I am receiving text messages from Glass Mountain Capital LLC with an attempt to collect a debt
I am receiving text messages from Glass Mountain Capital LLC with an attempt to collect a debt. I have not received a single phone call or never received anything via mail. I am up to date with my bills and do not owe any company a past due payment. This is alarming and feels like a SCAM. From what I have read there are others in my same situation or have gone through this before with them. It is unprofessional to text someone about a debt and you would think I would be contacted via mail letting me know which business they are trying to collect a debt from. Even with all of my past accounts I have never received a single phone call, email, or letter stating that my account(s) has any outstanding balance. This company needs to go away or have whoever you are trying to collect a debt from send me a letter. Who are you and go away and is this even legal to txt me about a debt?

The reason for this complaint is because this company has made it impossible to trust them
The reason for this complaint is because this company has made it impossible to trust them. I spoke to someone named ***, who said hes the *** of Operations, regarding a resolution for my mothers outstanding debt. He told me that his computer system was unable to generate a copy of the agreed payment plan between the *** mother. With how advanced technology is now a days you mean to tell me that you cant click print or simply forward a copy of a mutual agreement for all parties to have copies of pertinent information. That doesnt make any sense to me. Then he proceeded to tell me that aside from the fact that his system couldnt generate a copy to send to the client he proceeded to tell me that another reason they are unable to provide me a copy for my records is so that I dont take that paper to try and obtain a loan or to purchase a vehicle. If youre getting paid what does any of that have to do with you..? Is this even legal? PLEASE HELP!

I have a private business cell number
I have a private business cell number. This company calls EVERY SINGLE DAY since February for someone who's never worked for this company. Always from a different local #. Every day when I ask who's calling they hang up. Today I called them back after the hang up. The female refused to identify the company and demanded to know if *** was here or not. I said he's never been here but don't hang up. I need to know where you are calling from Name, Address and Owners information. She would not tell me and started yelling over me saying:" You tell me everyday your removing this call for months from your collections #'s for this debtor but you do not and you hang up when I say *** is not here. If you don't stop yelling over me I am filing a complaint." She said do whatever I want. They are interrupting meetings, phone calls and work time by calling this number several times a day. They need to really truthfully remove this number from their collection dialer today.

I received a letter today advising me that so-and-so company will take a settlement in a reduced amount
I received a letter today advising me that so-and-so company will take a settlement in a reduced amount. I Never heard of this company and it was actually abbreviations so I looked it up...it's a bank that does regular banking and Mortgages...I've never used this bank for anything! I think I know where I bank and I most definitely would know where I got a mortgage IF I had one! I don't recognize any of the companies on the form and I work customer service and I know of a few of our customers getting letters that stated they owed us money - when they did not! Most of the time, more money than they ever owed us. And we track sent out letters and we did not show any letters sent to some of these callers. Glass Mountain currently trying to collect from me; current creditor is Security Credit Services (which also has a large share of complaints), and Original Creditor was ***, N.A. (*** of Omaha) Do they really think I would not know who I did business with and especially for the amount they have listed? ($1428.44)

I'm constantly being contacted by phone (which oddly enough comes up as potential scam on caller iD) saying that i owe them money
I'm constantly being contacted by phone (which oddly enough comes up as potential scam on caller iD) saying that i owe them money. The amount increased at some point where they tried to pull in debt from like years back id never even heard of. EVERY single time i've asked for a records clarifying said debt i get crickets. Never receive anything. When contacted again (as they change numbers) i request to be able validate my said debt i get no response. I'm told i can validate it online but that's a lie (right after i told i could by a 'supervisor' over the phone i could), when you go there it requires you to provide an account number, payment amount and payment info, there's no way to see a statement of debt owed etc and they also said they don't provide you a statement so even IF said debt was legit you have no way to know payment was applied or balance reduced/remaining as they won't provide it for you except verbally over the phone which seems shady as heck to me. If you say i have a legit debt than i need proof, someone's word in this scamming day/age isn't good enough, i need the records.

I have been receiving calls from this company out of the blue for the past week from numerous numbers, and I was told that I owe over $2,000
I have been receiving calls from this company out of the blue for the past week from numerous numbers, and I was told that I owe over $2,000 regarding some investments from a company I have never heard of I don't have no investments in anything. Informed the rep that I never received any correspondence regarding this and was told they have sent letters out, and calling was the next step. I have never seen any letters from this company. I was told that this "account" was opened back in 2002 and the last payment was for $75 back in 2005, 2009 I can't recall because he has a very strong accent. I told the rep that he was not telling the truth about those letters, and why way over 10 years to try and collect a debt. It sounds fishy to me that these calls come out of the blue now that its close to the holidays. Debt collectors should not have this much room to harass people especially calling from area codes that does not reflect their central business state. How was they calling me from a 313 area code and they are in Illinois? That's fishy and a scammer move to me and its unacceptable. I also check my credit report regularly and have nothing regarding this debt collector on it. It was very hard to hear the rep with his heavy accent, I never got an account number or anything to help reference anything

I received a so many calls, from all different numbers all times day and night
I received a so many calls, from all different numbers all times day and night. None I recognized at all. No messages left or even a text. When I would pick up, A guy would mumble a question- I would say what? All I could understand was the guy asking me if I gave consent- nothing else. Called them back a few times, I would ask what company it was, why were they calling- he would repeat: You give consent? Just By continuing this call at all, you are giving consent" Giving consent for what and who are you calling me? I asked what this was about and that I give no consent and he wouldn't tell me, just said he had to verify who I was first. Asking for phone, birthdate, address. I said if you are calling me, you should have that. He finally gave me an address. It was literally a mix of my last 3 addresses. If I lived at 3 different homes and the street name was Robin on one, Jackson on the 2nd and Liberty on the 2rd- He made the street name 1234 Robertjacksonliberty. Made no sense. He was very short and brash. Would not verify what it was- just said, YOU HAVE IT ALREADY, IT WAS SENT TO YOU. WHile I recognized the info, it was because they were past addresses mixed together, but nothing current. "You got the information and we need payment today, are you going to pay today? ALmost 2000 and how did I want to pay it? With all of the scams going on... a call like this is horribly inappropriate. And if god forbid this is something legit and my credit gets affected because the process was horrible and it didn't get taken care of (which I doubt it is legit), well that is not professional or the way to do business. During the times we are in, to add more stress, fear and anxiety on to people without being willing to verify anything and harassing them... You have to be kidding me. If it was one of my health care providers- they all have my current info and I have never had any issues with bills, etc. This feels like some sort of scam or just a very unprofessional
